A few days ago, I ordered a Pink Drink with no ice from this location. When I got home and checked the receipt, I noticed a $0.49 charge for “Extra Refresh Base.” I’ve ordered the same drink at many other Starbucks and have never been charged extra before. In fact, I got the exact same drink today at Disney Springs and wasn’t charged anything extra. If this is a new policy, Amanda — the person at the register — could’ve at least mentioned it. That simple heads-up would’ve made a big difference. Unfortunately, her attitude was also pretty rude, which made the experience even more frustrating. Hope the staff here gets better training in communication and customer service.

Google
Got the carrot cake cookie after years of not having it, I did the college program and it was one of my favorite park foods. I’ve gone there twice during my trip thus far and both workers were extremely rude. Not sure what happened to Disney cast members being kind. First one asked snarky “that’s all you’re getting?” And I mentioned that it was the best cookie ever and asked if they ever tried it and they got angry at me like I should know this and said “I can’t- I’m allergic to gluten” and the other one pretty much said the same thing when I went in just to get the cookie again and said it’s the only thing I was getting. Like it’s such an inconvenience to just get the cookie. The vibes really changed here since I worked here with the workers. It’s unfortunate. But nonetheless, you still need to go in for the carrot cake cookie. May or may not even be turned off at this point from the cookie because of all the judgement and rudeness towards me getting it twice this far now.

Google
Carrot cake whoopie pie lives up to the hype! A must-try at Disney, moist and delicious; on the sweet side, of course. A carrot cake lover's dream!

Charles Caruso

Google
Got the carrot cake whoopie pie. It was so moist it just crumbled, tried to eat it with a fork but the cream cheese was strange and using a fork was not working due to the cream cheese frosting being kinda sticky.

Google
Starbucks!!!! Small breakfast sandwiches to tie you over for breakfast. Visit after the big three attractions to avoid long wait times.

Zalime from Mexico was amazing. She was very nice and respectful during the entire transaction and got my entire order right. She deserved a raise!

Google
Sometimes I’m very concerned that I’m visiting a place that sells Starbucks coffee, but they’re baristas are not trained to make the same high-quality product. But my concerns were misplaced the trolley car Café far exceeded all of my needs and expectations.

Google
This is the Hollywood Studios Starbucks location. Drinks are to Starbucks menu and standard. The most delicious thing on the menu, however, is a non-Starbucks offering - the carrot cake cookie! TRY IT.

Yelp
We were looking forward to trying one of their large Carrot Cake Cookies when we walked into this Starbucks. Disappointment followed when we were told they were temporary not available, having been replaced by seasonal items. It is Christmastime. Our barista was so understanding of our feelings and apologetic that we cheered up and settled for drinks, mine a Caramel Frappuccino and my wife, water. I do love those Frappuccinos. Something I like are the personal interactions when visiting a Starbucks. The Starbucks staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed, as happened this visit. We will try a carrot cake cookie in the future.

Yelp
Nice little pit stop on your way into the park. No seating, Starbucks inside. Service is cool enough, too hot to sit outside

Yelp
The carrot cake cookie lived up to the hype! Pretty delicious and not too sweet. It's fairly large and we were able to split this with 3 people. The texture isn't exactly a cake but not a cookie either. Very interesting, and recommend!

Yelp
This vacation has been a bit out of sorts each day. It sort of goes with the territory of living out of a suitcase if you know what I mean. Today was no different. We meant to buy groceries last night upon arriving in town but forgot, hence we had nothing to cook for breakfast this morning. So we were sort of forced to buy breakfast inside Hollywood Studios. Yes we could have done a drive through but camping in DeLand, which is an hour north of Orlando, put us in unfamiliar territory. Also we got a late start, forgetting we had an hour commute to the theme park. A Disney Cast Member recommended The Trolley Car Cafe and are we glad they did. Crowds and lines are larger than normal this time of year but the wait here was not bad at all. Drinks came almost immediately after paying! Plenty of staff at this Starbucks. My granddaughter and I ordered the Sausage Egg and Cheese Sandwich and it was the bomb. Larger than a normal fast food sandwich, it really hit the spot. The egg was a real fried egg too so that was an expected bit of a wait. She ordered the Ham and Cheese Croissant. It looked really good and she said it tasted even better than it looked. It too was a big croissant. My granddaughter's friend ordered a plain toasted bagel with cream cheese and was real happy with her meal as well. I was able to find a clean table outside behind the restaurant so we had a good start to our challenging day ahead.

Yelp
We'd heard the Carrot Cake Cookie at The Trolley Car Cafe was supposed to be really good, so obviously we had to pop in and get one. We were both really full, so we decided to share one, which turned out to be the right decision because this thing is enormous (and heavy!) Okay, so it's undeniably quite delicious, with its delectable cream cheese filling and carrot-filled "cookie" that's loaded with flavor. And the whole thing isn't too sweet, which I appreciated. However, this is in no way, shape, or form a cookie. It's shaped like a cookie, yes, but it's got the texture and taste of a cake. I'm not complaining at all since it was super delicious, but it ain't no cookie, that's for sure.
google avatar

Christina Y.

Yelp
As hectic and crazy as it is in this Starbucks, I loved it! There are two separate lines to ease traffic and keep things moving. My group's orders did not take that long and they were made well. Service was great! I just ordered an iced matcha latte, not anything complicated and it came out perfectly! Was a nice start to a day at the park.
google avatar

Yelp
Starbucks is usually an overrated establishment but darn it if I don't love their frappes. We tried the carrot cake cookie this time. It was alright. I've had better. It actually has less flavor than I had hoped. That's what I didn't like about it.

Michael G.

Yelp
Service here is AMAZING! I have a food allergy and Trinity and Cassidy were amazing in helping me get a drink I felt safe drinking. Just amazing all around! Wanted to tip and they said they don't accept them and that they were just happy to make us happy. So awesome!

Yelp
We grabbed breakfast from here twice after heading to Hollywood Studios for rope drop. There is no seating inside but there is outdoor seating right across with umbrellas for shade. Service is quick and they offer some unique items including the carrot cake cookie. This cookie is really more like a Whoopie pie with large circles of pillowy carrot cake sandwiched with cream cheese frosting. This treat is delicious and easily shareable! These are already in boxes in the grab and go section. I liked that they were in boxes since I was able to put my leftovers in my backpack to enjoy later. If you are a carrot cake fan, get it! Although cute, I do not recommend the Mickey shaped chocolate chip cookie. It was crumbly and the wax paper surrounding the Mickey shape was hard to peel off the cookie.

Yelp
Very busy Starbucks! But the line moves fast, or you can place a mobile order. On the Disney dining plan any drink qualifies for a snack credit so go big! They also disperse large glasses for water and have smaller ones near the napkins, creamer, etc. Seats are not available inside but if you go earlier in the day a couple of nearby restaurants have outside seating. I appreciate how easy this Starbucks can be found on the main strip after entering the park.
google avatar

Yelp
Starbucks and cafe location for Hollywood Studios, this one is just off the main entry street to the right. They have the split line to the left and right with cashiers and options on both. They have the same things no matter which way you choose. They carry the collectible Hollywood Studios Starbucks mug here from the Been There series. It's got a fun design and there's one at each park, so grab em up! They also do all the classic Starbucks drinks for ordering. In the middle you'll find a cold case with food and snack options. There also water and bottled soda options if you're not a coffee or tea fan. The cupcakes are delicious! Overall: A Gets crowded on busy days, but has all the things you want from Starbucks right in the park!
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Multiple cashiers were very engaging and talkative. Great customer service. I had the Limited Time - Luxo Ball dessert. Made of Passion Fruit/Mango Mousse on Banana Sponge Cake and Rice Croquant decorated with Chocolate. IMHO flavor of the mousse was to subtle. It don't remember any banana flavor at all. In the humidity the chocolate became soft quickly. I would not get it again.

Yelp
Another Disney By James review! This place has the distinct honor of being my first-ever 2 star review! Here's why: 1) It's an overpriced Starbucks. The beverages are good and consistent with what you would find at your local Starbucks, only more expensive because hey, Disney. 2) Like other locations, the (Disney) world was a better place before Starbucks. There used to be unique places to grab pastries, sweets and coffee throughout the parks... but once Starbucks came, the magic went away. They try to make up for it by offering some "Disneyfied" treats, but it's nowhere near the same. 3) Unlike its counterpart in Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, I find this location to be more of a cluster you-know-what. Just as, if not more crowded with not a lot of organization. You'll still go here because it's a place to reenergize while you spend the day walking around Hollywood Studios, but just be prepared.
google avatar

Yelp
As with the other parks, Disney has transformed one of their counter service eateries into a Starbucks. Here at Hollywood Studios, that bux is here at Trolley Car Cafe. As in my everyday life, it's now become customary for me to get some Starbucks whenever I go to one of the parks. Trolley Car is super convenient - being located right at the corner of Hollywood Blvd pretty much in the center of the park. There's not much to be said of the aesthetics, I guess it's modeled after a (wait for it) trolley car? Whatever though, the important part in these hybrid Starbucks is speed of service and quality. That's where Trolley Car comes through - even with a line it has always moved quickly and my drink was always prepared right. Disney did a great job with integrating Starbucks into their parks, and Trolley Car is no exception. If you need life's blood before facing the Studios, be sure to stop here.
google avatar

Corey W.

Yelp
It's a starbucks! Poison apple mousse dessert - holy moley this was outstanding and great for a hot day at studios. The mousse was light and refreshing, hints of apple flavor and a wonderful graham cracker crust.
google avatar

Yelp
We paid $6 for a very dry, bland cupcake with icing that had an off after taste. We ended up throwing it away after a bite. We also asked for a large cup of water and were very rudely told we could only have a medium "you'll have a medium because that's what we have prepared already."
google avatar

Yelp
Need caffeine while at Disney Hollywood Studios? Head to this spot that looks like a trolley car that opened about 3 years ago as a Starbucks with Disney touches. It's right near the entrance on Hollywood Boulevard and seems to almost always have a long line. Especially all morning long! Well my friend and I need the coffee pick-me-up and stopped in for some breakfast eats & drinks. We ended up getting a couple of coffees (flat white & cold brewed) plus a croissant and an Olaf cupcake. Yep, they have some adorable Disney themed items for purchase. And yep, I ate a cupcake for breakfast. Don't judge me! Even if the coffee you want is not listed on the menu, ask to see if it's available. It's a Starbucks so they have most of what a normal Starbucks would in their usual repertoire. Now onto the prices...it is definitely more than other Starbucks locations but probably cheaper than other breakfast locations. Butter Croissant $3.49 Cold Brew Coffee $3.99 Blonde Flat White Coffee $2.49 Olaf Cupcake $5.99 Staff inside was nice and orders came out fairly quickly for things. Great location to not break the bank for some morning eats.
google avatar

Rebecca W.

Yelp
The line was ridiculously line to get our drinks and the best food item in Hollywood studios. The carrot cake cookie is two carrot cake slices sandwiched between cream cheese frosting. I was expecting the carrot cake to be more cookie and less cake. It was difficult to eat because it was made like cake. But overall it was the tastiest treat we found within Hollywood studios.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
This place is always packed we got lucky and the line wasn't bad when we first went. But 20 minutes later and it was way out the door! The line moves quickly and they have quite a bit of selections for snacks and drinks. If you collect Starbucks glasses or cups they have them here so you won't be let down!
google avatar

Yelp
Found this dessert treat inside Hollywood Studios The Trolley Car Cafe, which is name for the Starbucks in this park . It was a small size dessert, super cute and delicious! Sweet mango mousse with banana sponge cake, caramel chocolate and rice croquant coating. The strawberry creme Frappuccino was also really good! Even has strawberry sauce glaze made with small chunks of strawberries inside the cup too. Playful Luxo Ball Mousse - $5.49 Strawberry Creme Frappuccino - $5.99
google avatar

Kristina G.

Yelp
This is a pretty easy Starbucks to navigate considering most of the Starbucks in the parks are overwhelmingly crowded. They have 2 sides with cashiers and maybe that's why the lines don't feel as bad. Plus I think its pretty spacious. There is plenty of seating outside. They also have a pretty large grab and go case where you can get the regular starbucks snacks along with yummy Disney cupcakes. They accept starbucks gift cards which is a bonus for me who loves to maintain my gold card status with points. Its pretty much the best place to get a quick breakfast, sweet, or coffee when I am at Hollywood Studios.
google avatar

Ashton M.

Yelp
This can be one of the busiest Starbucks within the Disney parks, but they move lines super fast (one line on each side). Baristas are kind, knowledgable, and efficient. I came here several times on my recent trip to Disney and had great coffee. I love the Disney cups and turning the O in my name to Mickey's face.
google avatar

Wai Y.

Yelp
This is the only place where you can get reasonably priced drinks in Disney World: Starbucks. The Starbucks here only costs 32 cents more than outside Disney World. Considering that Disney sells $1.50 Costco hot dogs for $8 to $14, $18 Mickey D hamburgers and $22 to $33 pizzas, this is a bargain. A small coca cola in Galaxy's Edge costs $5.50 and $4.50 elsewhere in the Disney World, so a handmade Starbucks coffee for only 32 cents more is a very reasonable price to pay. Plus, they'll give you free ice water upon request, which I appreciate. I can't sip coffee all day long or I won't be able to sleep at night. Regarding other posters' negative reviews; 1. long lines: it's Disney World, what did you expect! Yes, the lines were long, but it moved quickly and they did have 2 lines. I did not wait longer than the busiest days at my local Starbucks. 2. mistakes; if they gave you a "watered down" iced coffee or did not secure the lid properly so you spilled your coffee, just let them know and they'll make you another one. It's not a big deal.
google avatar

Yelp
I just love taking a stroll in the park to get that first cup of coffee. It is hard to go wrong with a caramel macchiato or mocha. They do it perfect. I order mine with coconut milk. What I like is they have asked me if I want whipped cream both at cashier and the finisher as most coconut milk orders are because of dairy free. Way to watch out for those like me that forget part of there complicated Starbucks orders. I finally tried one of the desserts. I had the brownie with m&ms. I am not sure how to eat this without making a mess. Plan on grabbing extra napkins. It had a delectable brownie topped with ganache and m&ms. It is big so plan on sharing. They do have sandwiches as well which look amazing but I have not tried them.

Olvia H.

Yelp
If your looking for a pit stop on your way around Hollywood studios I would recommend this Starbucks. Although it has decently long lines it has treats and drinks that are worth waiting for. There are a limited amount of drinks, they will not have all the drinks/items that are at other out of park Starbucks. It is a crossroads between Hollywood boulevard and sunset boulevard. It's very convenient and I recommend it for future trips to Disney parks
google avatar

Maggie C.

Yelp
You don't want to leave Disneyland resort to get coffee. You need your caffeine fix in the morning before your Tower of Terror ride. You want to buy cute, overpriced cupcakes. Go to the Trolley Car Cafe. Look for the building with the red door, not too far from 50's Prime Time Cafe. Peppermint mocha ($3.99): your typical peppermint mocha from Starbucks. Make sure the lid is secured because you don't want to spill your hot coffee like I did :( QUICK TIP: NO ANNUAL PASS DISCOUNT FOR YOUR HOLLYWOOD STUDIO STARBUCKS. 3 stars!! The Trolley Car Cafe is almost yummylicious!!
google avatar

Brandon G.

Yelp
Nice variation on the standard Starbucks store here in Hollywood Studios. Great personable staff and you move through the traffic fairly quick in the open space Starbucks, themed after a train or trolley stop. Only downside is there is no seating in this location inside the store to cool off and just tables behind the store that are shaded but lack a good breeze to cool off.
google avatar

Sierra G.

Yelp
I only ended up going to this location because I was seeking out the infamous carrot cake "cookie." I had heard great things about it online before going on our trip, and it turned out that they closed down the previous spot it was being served. This spot seems more like your run-of-the-mill Starbucks (or Joffrey's, which is apparently a thing), which is alright if that's what you're looking for. The carrot cake "cookie" (I put cookie in quotations because it's transformed into more of a cake) was very sweet and tasty. I ended up sharing it with my boyfriend because it was so hefty, which was unexpected (apparently they recently changed it). I was satisfied with it though, and am a sucker for carrot cake. Very yummy! There are many other sweets and drinks served here, as well.
google avatar

Nikki R.

Yelp
This location is very much open! Looks as though it has been recently renovated. The line is long.... They have as expected "Disney Service" best customer service on the planet!
google avatar

Jose A. R.

Yelp
Excellent service. Great coffee. Friendly baristas. I have to say I was expecting this place to be super busy, hectic and things were gonna be all out of whack, but surprisingly it wasn't. The place was clean, it was smooth and it was a great experience overall. Very good Starbucks. Just stop by, it's by the entrance. Go ahead, do it. You'll thank yourself later.
google avatar

Terri H.

Yelp
The service was not as good as your normal Starbucks. The employees didn't smile and they were slow about taking your order. Our cashier walked away half way through our order and returned several minutes later. This restaurant is on the Disney Dining Plan. We used our snack credits to get a morning pastry to hold us til lunch. I ordered one the chocolate croissants. I had already had my morning tea so I asked for water. They gave me a cup of water with a lid however when my husband asked for water they handed him a styrofoam cup and told him the water was in the back by the plasticware. We were curious why the difference when we ordered the same thing. We found an area with tables outside on the right as we exited. We sat down and enjoyed our pastries while watching the birds swoop in and clean any crumbs off the ground.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Located in the beginning of Hollywood studios. Disney Starbucks coffee from some reason always taste better then any other Starbucks, maybe it's because we're tired or because we had to wait a huge line for it.
google avatar

Vanessa F.

Yelp
I don't know why but I swear Starbucks at Disney always taste so much better. There iced coffee is always my favorite but anything at Starbucks is great. Anyways this is great for those extra magic hour days where you can be at the park till 12am.
google avatar

Jeannie S.

Yelp
This really was just your average run of the mill Starbucks. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The lines were super long however. But the Disney treats were creative and interesting. It's a good stop for breakfast. I believe it opens before the park does.
google avatar

Lisa N.

Yelp
Aside from the usual Starbucks food items, Trolley Car Cafe also has some treats unique to Hollywood Studios... Including the giant cupcakes previously only found at Starring Rolls. And when I say giant, these really are massive. The cupcake was about as big as the tall drink that I ordered. They're kept in a cooler so I'd advise letting the cupcake thaw out a bit before eating, but even if you're not willing to wait it's still delicious. We got the butterfinger cupcake which was chocolate cake with a chocolate fudge filling and vanilla frosting with a coating of crushed butterfinger. I still can't believe that my boyfriend and I polished off the entire thing. It was super rich but so good that we couldn't stop eating. You can also get the same cupcakes at Starring Rolls, but they close early so it's great having Trolley Car Cafe as an alternative location.

Yelp
Happy Disney Cast Members staff. Efficient system. Great decoration. Don't get annoyed at Starbucks, learn how to get the best value - Short Pike, no room. It's a great Cup o'Joe.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Hey, it's a Starbucks. It's in Disney. So, it's super expensive while being typically pretty delicious. The place is quite busy, but I was surprised how quickly the busy employees got people through the line.
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Love the new starbucks! The theming and decor is perfect for Disney's Hollywood Studios. I think it's absolutely adorable inside. The layout is like all the other starbucks on WDW property. You walk in and there's a Cast Member ready to greet you with a menu and tell you which way to proceed. Then you see the baked good and pastries that make you hungry but you know you shouldn't eat! And then of course the various merchandise items before reaching the counter to pay. The Cast Members are extremely efficient and helpful! I gave it 4 stars because it was so loud in there that I couldn't hear my order being called and had to guess when I saw a drink sitting on the counter that looked like it could be mine and when I asked what it was to make sure, she guessed it was mine too since no one else had claimed it. Other than that it was very well done and my drink tasted wonderful! Will probably end up back there in the future, I mean it's Starbucks so of course I will lol
google avatar

Ali M.

Yelp
Even though it's really busy at this Starbucks location the staff is always really friendly and the drinks are always good.

Carrie S.

Yelp
Two cashiers all afternoon - the line was so long and slow. We left twice - bad service day today at Disney Hollywood Studios
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
I went in with my boyfriend at the beginning of the day to get coffee to start at Hollywood Studios. The line was fast and the cast behind the counter were banging on all cylinders! The cast member who helped us have a suggestion to my boyfriend who likes the caramel macchiato but doesn't like how sweet it can be. He was suggested to get a latte macchiato which would come with not vanilla syrup which the other does, the extra shot of espresso he likes and he could simply ask for some caramel on top. Very helpful and super friendly. The uniforms are also some of my favorite I have seen so far at a Starbucks location.
google avatar

Joyce L.

Yelp
With the Starbucks being inside of Disney's Hollywood studios, expect lines like everything else at Disney. However they were pretty quick to get through orders. Plus you get the special Starbucks/Disney parks cup for your instagram photo ops.
google avatar

william c.

Yelp
Good coffee. My wife's chocolate croissant was the best she's ever had. My steak and cheese wrap was way underseasoned, disappointing.
google avatar

Alex W.

Yelp
This is my favorite Starbucks location on property. The employees work efficiently and quickly, and are kind to the customers yet are also good at keeping the line moving. The specialty cupcakes and pastries that they serve here are also tasty. I also like how this location has a free self-serve water dispenser in the back that is especially handy on blistering hot Florida days. I wish all of the Starbucks on property could operate as well as this one!

Izzy B.

Yelp
This is a review based on their sweets, nothing else. (which I am not sure if THEY make them..., it's probably Disney company that makes their packaged sweets.) I got a fruit tart, a carrot cake cookie, and a toffee cupcake. Love them. Carrot cake cookie didn't look anything special but oh boy, does it taste good! I am glad I gave it a try. I wasn't fond of the frosting itself on the cupcake- it tasted like it was made with shortening. But the hard chocolate shell and crunchy candy coating on it... so good!
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Gabbie from NC Made our visit so special! Gave my niece a cupcake because she had a birthday pin & remade a drink that was cold. WE LOVE HER!
google avatar

Peyton H.

Yelp
This is truly the most magical trolley car cafe on earth. The staff not only takes the time and attentiveness to talk to you whilst having to deal with an endless flow of punishing park goers, they also go the extra mile to ensure that you're having the best day imaginable. Knowing that you'll be met with a lovely smile (and plenty of coffee) almost makes up for the distance between you and this phenomenal shop. Who wouldn't love to visit all of the wonderful faces here? There's also a really gorgeous girl that works here so maybe I'll just have to frequent this shop more often. But yeah, definitely a must see location when visiting the parks!
google avatar

Angie L.

Yelp
i normally don't go to starbucks while on vacation, but learned that a drink counts as a snack credit if you're on the DDP, so was here almost daily since it was so hot! it's near the entrance of hollywood studios on your left. there's a patio outside where you can enjoy your food and drinks. once inside, there's a line on the left and the right. both of them move quickly and cast members are amazingly friendly. they also sell cups and ornaments (during holiday season) here that are starbucks and disney themed. i didn't get any while there and now regret it. lesson learned? if you're still thinking about it two weeks later, buy it!

Jim D.

Yelp
Iced coffee is so watered down. Not that good. The rest of the items are good as usual. My kids loved the candies covered brownie. They said the double chocolate chip Frappuccino's tasted funny.
