The Truck Stop is already up and running, but with National Food Truck Day on Friday, the concept is hosting a grand opening with all of its food truck friends. Here’s what to know before you go: New food trucks every week The Truck Stop takes the guesswork out of tracking down your favorite food truck by posting its weekly schedule on Instagram and Facebook — typically on Mondays — along with other updates. The number of daily food trucks varies, with anywhere from one to five or more on any given day. Some trucks park for lunch time hours, while others arrive just in time for dinner. As for seating, no need to grab your food and dash back to the car. The Truck Stop has several picnic tables (with umbrellas for shade) set up in the lot. There really isn't a better place in Donelson to have a pleasant, small hometown feel than a meal at The Truck Stop. Engaging/Strengthening the community and supporting small businesses is the main focus here. From tasty food trucks to live music to charity drives to kid maker's fairs, if you haven't been, you need to go and go often.

I'm a regular customer. Always excited when my favorite fish truck is there because I know there will be plenty of great food. I follow this truck around the city. The last time, however, my fish sandwich was very skimpy. Pieces were thin and hard to chew. I was shocked! It has to be a once in a lifetime experience so I'll be going again asap.

Burrr... It was cold. Some of the items on the menu were out. The Loco Moco Plate and Kalua Pork plate were delicious.

A good variety of food trucks during the week and Saturday. Are usually open 11 to 2 and 4 to 7.

I get the wings and they are so good!! Oh and the fried okra is pretty darn good too!!

Great opportunity to try out different foods with their multiple options of food trucks. Got to meet the owners a few times. They were very nice people and felt genuine in their efforts for the community.

This place is amazing! A literal food truck playground where local trucks from all over the city come to feed! There is a variety of cuisines you can find here is great just check out their schedule :) Run by a super sweet local couple supporting local businesses. They offer a cute setting, friendly food truckers, seating, parking, entertainment, but mostly it's about the food and we love that!

Cussin' & Cookin' has great food, and the owners were super nice! I went during 4th of July. Highly recommend
