I was surprised to see so few reviews, because it’s actually a bit of a difficult spot to find. It’s not the easiest place to find, tucked above a food hall — though to be fair, it is signposted several times, and the food downstairs is good.
We fancied a drink and thought we’d give it a try. A rooftop bar in Miami usually means to me noise, crowds, and a bit of chaos, but we only wanted a quiet nightcap.
You reach it by lifts tucked around a corner, and once we stepped out at the top we were genuinely impressed by the feel of the place. It’s calm, relaxing, and has lovely views across the city, with pretty lights both inside the bar and out over the skyline.
There are plenty of comfortable seats, not crowed but ticking over calm crowd no gobby hen or stag parties types.
The barman was friendly, clearly enjoyed making cocktails — though we only had beer, so that particular skill was lost on us. We ended up staying longer than planned because it was just so peaceful.
The music was at a perfect level, not loud at all, so we could chat without raising our voices.
If you’re visiting from the GB, remember the American tipping culture.
