This little pie shop is adorable. Stopped in 1/25/25. Couldn’t decide between the mixed berry or apple crisp mini pie. Knew I’d regret not getting both! So glad I did. They’re both a 10 out of 10! The nice girl that took my order was a great employee. Kind, helpful, not intrusive and you can tell she likes your products. Wish we lived closer.

I absolutely love this place.. Their pies are the best pies I've ever had!! My daughter and I stopped in yesterday and got the Creme Brulee and Death by Chocolate. They are so rich and so decadent. I never considered myself a pie lover until discovering this place. I've loved them throughout the years and I can say their pies are just as delicious as ever.

Google
I love this cute little bakery in Downtown Salisbury, MD, it represents all things good about small business. I have visited a few times in the past, the pies are wonderful, the staff is patient and helpful when making decisions. They have pies that are sweet and savory. On this particular day I purchased the raspberry cream and cherry tart pies, and a cup of coffee. There is a little book nook, small corner of gifts and merchandise, fresh coffee, and parking across the street.

Got a four pack of mini pies for the weekend, two sweet and two savory. The crab quiche is lovely. The crab isn't drowned in Old Bay and there's plenty of it. Autumn harvest is loaded with roasted squash and caramelized onions, yummy. For sweets, got blueberry lemon and triple berry. Mouthgasm.

Google
Thank you Ugly Pies for a unique dessert experience for my guests at my wedding. It was a fall wedding and neither me or the groom typically go for cake when choosing dessert. Pie was the PERFECT fall dessert we could enjoy. We contacted the staff and they promptly responded with options, we decided to do a tester box, which we enjoyed a ton! We wound up picking flavors from our trial box, and serving the individual pies for guests, which were like cupcake size. We also added a regular size pie for the groom and I to cut, plus some cookies. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. The guests enjoyed a different choice and talked about it all night long, and there were no hiccups along the way when coordinating. This was a fun and cost effective choice for my wedding that I will never regret!

Google
The pies are amazing however the new girl they have working the front is not very professional. I went to turn in my free pie card and she informed me that they are no longer doing it and only punched 3 holes on a new card with 10% off even though all the holes were punched in my old card. She was dismissive and basically cut my conversation to ask if I wanted to buy something. My main issue was today when I went back I purchased two whole pies and a small one and she punched one hole for 80+ $ purchase and I left her a tip. My mom was with me and purchased two small pies and was going to tip with cash and as soon as we punched no tip on the card reader she gave us a dirty look and said “oh wow… mmmmm”. I almost take my money back. I won’t be coming back to deal with a rude person like that. The old girl that was there was so kind and professional, they really need to re-look at their costumer service now.

To go pies that were extraordinary! Super friendly staff too! Worth the stop on our way to the beach!

Google
True blessing! I love this place. I cannot say I love a local business more. FOREVER HAS MY BUSINESS FOR A SWEET TREAT! I wish they were country wide so no matter where I go I can have their pies! Best local business 2021,2022,2023,2024,2025 and forever.

Yelp
I've died several times eating the Death By Peanut Butter Pie. Awesome dessert. The staff is always smiling. Love them. If I worked there I would always be smiling too. The only problem I have is there are too many options. But that's actually a good thing.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE their Tart Cherry Pie! It's not offered daily so I watch on Facebook to see their daily offerings. The pie crust is sublime! Always crispy with a bit of sweetness. I was not too happy with their sweet potato biscuits as they were somewhat gummy in texture. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Yelp
The quiche and the service were phenomenal. I can't wait to try some of their other menu items.

Yelp
Great place. Scones and gingerbread are really good too. Their cherry pie and farm harvest quiche are the best.

Yelp
Raspberry Lemon Custard Pie The quaint and quirky atmosphere is just the icing on the literal pie. It's a must stop. Always changing pie menu. Cookies and dog desserts too! The staff are welcoming and bright.

Yelp
My husband went in the ugly pie and was greeted with an uninvited look. He assumed the lady might was just having a bad day. However, when he asked if they had any whole blueberry pies available the lady responded very sharp rude to him saying "yes we have whole pies!" The look he explained the lady had was of pure hate like his kind was not welcome in the establishment of business! Well, we will never ever support this business again and people of color beware because from my husband's bad experience, I don't believe diversity is welcomed at ugly pie. Shame on you!

Steve M.

Yelp
Love their key lime pie. We will probably order it shipped to us. When we go to Salisbury we'll stop by at least once

Catherine C.

Yelp
Everything I've gotten from Ugly Pie has been delicious & fresh! Their variety of cheesecake flavors are my favorite plus their hand pies are addicting! You really can go wrong with anything you try.

Yelp
I wish it was closer to DMV / Baltimore location. Enough said it was delicious. The slices were huge! One of the owners in purple glasses was so nice. She took pride in her business. She was very knowledgeable. Anyways we have a pit stop before heading to Ocean City now on. This will be on our stop now on. I wish I could try the quiches but unfortunately we went after a holiday weekend. So they didn't have any prepared. Well more reasons to come on back. It is very close to the free Salisbury zoo. You can walk the zoo and have a snack afterwards or prior. Prices were reasonable. The shop was clean. It was bright. Everything was displayed nicely. Hidden gem! Please support this business! We even bought an sticker to put on my fiance wrangler! Yummy! We tried the monster pie (pecan pie, pretzels, chocolate chip), pumpkin cheesecake (seasonal), and an apple pie

Yelp
Went to pick up a veggie quiche and a pumpkin pie. I read the ingredient labels and there were no nuts in either item so I thought I was safe. To be fair I did not ask the staff. The quiche was so great but unfortunately sent my family member with a nut allergy to the hospital. I am writing this review primarily to warn others with food allergies this would be one place to stay away from. For those of you without food allergies - like me- the quiche and pies were amazing :)

Yelp
Received these as a Valentine's Day gift and my husband raved about the customer service. They offered to let him pick up his order before the store opened due to his work schedule. This was such a beautiful presentation! The blueberry cheesecake taste home made and is not too sweet. It's a very "heavy" pie but delicious. I've only tried the peanut butter mini bites from the sampler and they were decent. Light in flavor but tasty. We will be reoccurring customers for the customer service alone!

Yelp
We had the buy 3 get 1 free special today and got 4 great pies! Almond Joy pie Strawberry Rhubarb pie Lemon Chess pie Derby cheese cake All 4 pies were phenomenal

Yelp
Oh my pie!! Let's start with the fact that pies are my favorite dessert. But alas, disappointed more often then not. Typically I find that places add much too much sugar and filling, and not enough substance. This place knows how to make a pie! We are over an hour away, but I will definitely make the drive more often then reasonable, as these pies were out of this world! We had berry crumble, key lime and a broccoli quiche. The best thing about the sweet pies were they weren't too sweet. Just the right amount of sugar to compliment the tart! The place was inviting, and the people were engaging and helpful. I am vegan, (mostly) and the girl made some great recommendations for lunch. But dessert first of course! Can't wait to come back! P.S. And I think they are lovely! Not ugly!

Stacie S.

Yelp
Fantastic! My husband got the apple crumb and I got the orange cranberry scone (a favorite flavor combo). Hands down the best scone I have ever tasted. I was only going to have a bite, but couldn't put it down. My husband raved about his apple crumb. Very much enjoyed both offerings. If you're in the area, it's a must stop!

Yelp
Sorry for the lack of pictures as I inched and pinched before I made it home. Today I ordered a half dozen sweet potato biscuits and a personal size lemon chess pie. I decided to partake in a biscuit during my errands and after two bites decided the birds would be better off with the calories. The sweet potato biscuits lacked sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and sweet potatoes they were all flour no sweetness at all. The lemon chess pie was delicious tart but sweet and creamy with a beautiful flaky crust. The cost however may make me second guess this as a first option in my next sweet tooth hunt. The mini lemon chess pie was $7 I think $5 would be more reasonable.

Yelp
There is magic in these pies. Never been a huge pie fan, but these pies? I just could not get enough. Try the pie crust cookies and the shortbread crusted treats. Amazing!
google avatar

Marieantonette K.

Yelp
The best pie. 10/10 you will find something you like guaranteed and they'll help you find a pie for you. Love the pecan, s'mores, and lemon

Lexus W.

Yelp
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Which is disappointing bc the food is pretty good. If I could give zero stars I would.
google avatar

Yelp
Whoa! Such a cool spot with so many tasty things! They specialize in pies but also have some cheesecakes and coffee. Another cool option: they can blend any pie into a milkshake (which I HAD to try). I tried the chocolate peanut butter cheesecake in a milkshake and it was FANTASTIC. They had a large variety of different pies and some of their offerings change daily (their Facebook page is updated daily with current offerings). The atmosphere inside was cozy; had a few tables along with a seating area with a couch/comfy chairs. Looking forward to coming again to try different pies next time I'm in the area!

Yelp
Amazing service and food! I mentioned about being lactose intolerant, the young lady behind the counter pulled a menu out and marked which ones I can get without the lactose in it. So awesome and will be coming back again. My husband and brother love this place as well. So hard to choose just one or two, slices and smaller pies are so nice as an option.

Yelp
To start with, the coffee was great. But the point of the coffee is as a pie backer. And Lord, the pie. I had some kind of toffee custard thing...I can hardly remember because I was struck dumb by yum.

Yelp
First time customer and was not disappointed. Great selection of pies and the mushroom and cheese quiche was excellent. I also had the key lime. Will definitely be a favorite of mine when in Salisbury.

Yelp
We tried several pies from here and they were all AMAZING! We had mint oreo cheesecake, almond joy, strawberry rhubarb, and key lime pies. They key lime was my favorite, a perfect balance of sweet and tart. I also appreciated that they were able to accommodate an advance order with gluten-free crust for my niece. It is possible for them to sell out of pies for the day, so if you want something specific, your best bet is to get there early. I can't say enough nice things about this place. Delicious!!!

Yelp
Everything is delicious! The Ugly Pie is one of the first places we visited after moving to Salisbury, and have been impressed every time we come back. We try a different pint each time, and all have been stellar. The classics like apple and pumpkin and the best we have ever had, and my new personal favorite is the creme brûlée pie. Insanely good! This is the micro-bakery Salisbury needed!
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
The monster pint size pie was 6 out of 5 stars! The chocolate and pretzels were a perfect combination. Good thing I don't live close by, otherwise I would be addicted to this pie shop. I am already planning my next trip across the bay bridge to get more pie!

Natalie H.

Yelp
I was looking for a dessert to take to a Thanksgiving occasion and tried a slice of apple crumb pie from this store to see if it would be a good choice for a whole pie. The crust was like concrete and the filling was something Iike an applesauce and did not contain one identifiable piece of apple.
google avatar

Yelp
My Wife loves this place. Best desserts in Salisbury. They are so good they run out of product very often so get there early!!!

Yelp
This place gives new meaning to pie. I ordered the 5" key lime cheesecake, the 5" pint sized lemon chess pie and the lemon curd hand pie. My oh my what deliciousness filled my soul! I love lemon curd and this pastry was very light and crispy. It was so yummy I didn't realize I'd eaten the whole thing. Then, the pint sized lemon chess pie was so rich it took me 3 sittings to finish it. It was dense, tart and the butter in that crust . . . was truly an out-of-body experience. Don't let the description of pint size or 5 inches fool you. It's about the size of the mini pies I grew up with, but the flavors are so good you can't eat a whole one in one sitting. 5 thumbs up for the Ugly Pie folks. See you soon.

Yelp
O. M. G. The absolute world's best pies!! I love this lil locally owned and operated shop. Such a fun atmosphere and fantastic staff!! And the pies!!! I've never had such delicious sweet confection

Yelp
We got a bunch of slices from this bakery. Lemon Chess, Tart Cherry, Oat Blueberry, Creme Brulee, and Apple Crumb: all so good. Also got some pie crust cookies that are super tasty with coffee. Like pie and milkshakes? Get a slice of pie in the shake! Swet potato shake sample was delicious. Excellent service. Will definitely come back here.

Brandon J.

Yelp
If you are a pie person, this is the place for you. The apple pie is solid and I like the key lime pie as well. Also, the peach cobbler deserves an A+. I'm not a pie lover, but the fact that I enjoyed some of their pies must mean that this place makes a good pie.

Natalie C.

Yelp
I've had many things from The Ugly Pie and have absolutely zero complaints. The hand pies are perfect, the peanut butter chess pie is shut the club down good, my fiancé won't eat desserts and thinks the key lime pie is the best thing he's ever had. My mom owns a local bakery that I've worked at my whole life and I still drive all the way to Salisbury just for these pies, then bring them back to the girls at work to share lol. Love this place so much, and the customer service is great! One time they gave the wrong order to my roomate and when we realized the mistake, they drove to me and gave me my order as well as the original mess-up for free, it was beyond amazing and unexpected!

Yelp
I saw the ad on Facebook right before my dad's birthday. He is in Delmar and I am in Tucson Arizona. My mother passed away recently and every year she would make him a lemon meringue pie. I wanted to do something special so I contacted ugly pie and ask them if there was any way they would be able to make a lemon meringue pie and deliver it to my dad on his birthday. Without hesitation it was a resounding yes. As promised they arrived on my dad's birthday with the lemon meringue pie in hand. I can never express how appreciative I am of small local business. If you haven't already been here please stop by and give them a try!!

Danielle B.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING! The pie crust cookies are to die for. This is a must go place when in Salisbury.

Stephen F.

Yelp
A place you must visit that has a variety of yummy pies. One of my favorites is the Broccoli Cheddar Cheese quiche. Not only that but the Ugly Pie is a supporter of the Open To All Campaign. Thank you for the service you provide to all of us here in Salisbury.

sue l.

Yelp
The pies are delicious and one of the owners went above and beyond to make several gluten/soy/diary/nut free pies for us in advance of our visit. I really appreciated the fact that they did this and we were so excited to try them out. They were even tastier than you can imagine and between the 4 of us, we tried 8 flavors over 3 days (sweet potato, key lime, sour cherry, peach and apple crumb. And special made gluten/nut/diary/soy free mixed berry, strawberry and sour cherry pies). They were all different but we recommend them all! Love this place and will be back.

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Darling pie shop! Pie milkshakes!!! Homemade pies and so many to choose from! Mom and I have never heard of Apple Butter Pie and we've made pies our entire lives. So we had to try that. 100% pure deliciousness! The two young women who have the pie shop are so kind, patient, and pleasant. It's obvious that they love what they do! Mom, Dad, my husband and I highly suggest you take time to go there.

Connie M.

Yelp
I caught a segment of these girls on Delmarva Life. It is definitely one of my favorite places in Salisbury. Pies are very delicious. You can never just get one. Crème Brulee is my Fav!. Must go for every Pie lover!
