"As its name suggests, The Union Kitchen is the quintessential meeting place for eating, drinking and carrying on, even while social distancing guidelines are in effect. Its Cypress location at Towne Lake boasts waterfront views and an open-air patio on which to enjoy dishes like burgers, fresh fish platters loaded with veggies, and brick oven pizzas." - Megha McSwain

My wife and I came here with a party of 20 people to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The food was good, and so was the ambience, and overall we had a good time. Our waitress was fantastic, but we could not understand why they had her working our huge table of 20 people as well as the other tables that were in the restaurant, by herself. She was certainly hustling, but it was way too much work for one person. At one point I finally couldn’t wait any longer for a water refill and spotted a picture of water sitting on a table, so I went over and filled my water and my wife’s water. I’m giving good marks on the review but did knock off a star for service. However, it has no reflection on our server. She was great. The four stars instead of five is for the restaurant under staffing.

Google
The food at The Union Kitchen was super tasty, and the atmosphere was great—very cozy and enjoyable. The service was just okay. At the end of our meal, the server forgot to apply the kids’ meal discount. When we asked about it, he had already charged the bill and brought over the manager, who gave us a coupon for next time instead. It wasn’t what we asked for, nor what they usually offer. While we really enjoyed the food, the way the situation was handled could have been better.

Google
I was expecting a little more from this place. It was good and maybe deserves another visit to see if I would enjoy another dish. The little robot food server was interesting. I do not see the point of it except for it looks cool. The job can easily be done by a server as your server has to walk with the robot and hand you your food still.

Google
Disappointing. Service was OK but it was a very long wait for our food. We wouldn’t mind waiting if the food was good, but it was subpar at best. Both entrees tasted like it had a cup of sugar in it. I understand, honey glazed salmon but my vegetables and rice shouldn’t also taste like I’m eating dessert. Our waiter was nice and the atmosphere is pretty if you’re sitting by the water, but that’s really the only good things I could say.

Google
Came for my nieces birthday and we enjoyed ourselves. The server was attentive and helpful. My drink came out not so good and he took it back and got it fixed asap and apologized. The food was delicious and flavorful. The place is clean, nice and there is plenty of seating inside and out.

Tenisha J.

Google
Alex, our server, was absolutely amazing. House salad was a little less than desirable, but the steak was delicious, and mashed potatoes were good. Our cocktails were great, as were the beignets.

Google
Had a midweek meal here after work. Not busy. Nelson was a great server. Ask for him. Food was excellent. Kind of cool having robots bring meal to the table.

Google
I had a business meeting at this fine establishment, and it was great. The waiter was very helpful and attentive but not over bearing. The food was delivered so quickly it left plenty of time to talk about work. The bang bang shrimp were great, the union burger was awesome. The only complaint I might have is one of the robot food runners cut in front of me while I was walking. I would have said something rude but I don't speak robot so I let it slide.

Yelp
I travel a lot and there's good food and service at a lot of places. Every once in a while, you find a great place. The food, the environment, drinks are great, but it's always the people that make it a place you save and want to come back to. From the hostess to the bartender, cook and management you could tell they wanted the best. It was Nelson our server, who really shined. If you're lucky enough to have a server who is genuine, authentic and says "I don't know but let's get you a taste to see if you like it.." If you're in the area, try the baked goat cheeae anything on the menu and ask to be seated in Nelson's section

Yelp
Union Kitchen never disappoints! I love this location because it is located right on the lake in Towne Lake Boardwalk. The kids have a place to run around when they are done eating and us adults dont feel rushed to hurry up and finish because they can go outside and play and we can actually have eyes on them! The menu has a lot of options to choose from and everything have ordered so far is great every time. The restaurant is pretty big and they have lots of space for larger parties which is nice. Great experience overall. Thank you!

Yelp
I will give this place a solid three stars. Based solely on the service. AJ was amazing! The chicken satay skewers were pretty dang good. However, they missed two of the skewers with the satay sauce. Which was really good and basically the point of a satay. The slaw was pretty decent as was the sweet chili sauce at in accompaniment. The downfall was the hummus. It was basically just ground, chickpeas, very little spice, which seemed to have been applied to the bread instead of the actual hummus, and with no oil. No oil and hummus? This is like driving your car without motor oil. It's gonna be dry, flaky, and nasty and eventually going to go very wrong. Which it was. Luckily this was remedied by me asking for some olive oil and a copious amount of salt. Mmmmm. Salt. The drinks were pretty good. My martini, twist of lemon, sweet vermouth came out quickly, but after our food? But the bar ran out of lemons. What the fluff!?No lemons at a bar? AJ came to the rescue again and brought me a lemon twist to put in my martini after he was able to procure some. Again fantastic service by the wait staff. My girlfriend's whiskey sour was so chunky you basically needed to chew it. Apparently they did not pruree the fruit well enough to make it a drink. Not a smoothie. Based on the location, sitting by the lake, and the outstanding wait staff (way to go AJ!!) I would' come back and give this another go. I really did like those chicken skewers. Rock solid three stars for now.

Yelp
Great food, perfect atmosphere and decent pretty good service. The host up front was amazing, the manager was great the server was average.

Kathy C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and food was great. Best shrimp burger I've had, my favorite. Spinach dip was good, would have liked temperature to be a bit warmer. Everyone enjoyed their entree. Service could have been better though. Our waitress barely came back to check if we needed anything or didn't refill our drinks. Had to ask for things multiple times because she forgot.

Yelp
Went here for my daughter's birthday dinner. Pricey but everyone was pleasantly surprised with their dishes. My daughter got the shrimp scampi. I got the Boost Bowl. A few got pasta bowls and I think the most unique dinner was the grilled cheese with lobster which they said was fantastic. Ended it off with a birthday song and this beignets were delicious. The location is beautiful, right off the water in Town Lake and there's a little play area for kids and they have a little book donation station. There was live entertainment as well. Service was attentive and food came out fairly quick.

Santangelo G.

Yelp
The interior of the restaurant was nice! Me and my gf had the lentil soup 8/10 the grilled chicken sandwich was good 8/10 The lobster dumplings were terrific. The service was excellent Great experience overall , we both enjoyed our mocktaiks as well! Thank you!! -Santangelo Balli Gonzales

Yelp
A friend and I really wanted to eat at a place on the boardwalk by the water and so we randomly chose The Union Kitchen, it was the best food choice we made all week. The menu is intense, Nelson our server, was excellent, and well versed on all the options. The food came out quickly, and was delicious! Laura was the manager on duty and she was so kind and attentive, we finished the night off with their beignets, that were reminiscent to Cafe Du Monde's legendary treat. Over all an amazing experience, we wanted to go back tonight, they were going to even save our table for us, unfortunately we've been invited to a conference event this evening, and cannot go, sooo sorry Nelson and Laura, but we hope to see you both again on our next visit to Houston!!

Yelp
STARTED THE NEW YEAR OFF RIGHT!!! Wow, wow, and wow is all I can say about this establishment! Each experience is more than just a five star experience whenever I visit. My husband, my daughter, and I wanted to start the new year off with some delicious breakfast on New Year's Day. Originally, we chose to dine at Firstwatch, because we knew they were open for business. However, my husband suggested Union Kitchen which is perfect for starting the New Year Off in style! Because honestly, First Watch is no match for Union Kitchen when it comes to A1 quality cuisine and star quality service! But, we were willing to visit any restaurant that was open for business. Although we parked near First Watch, as we were exiting our vehicle, I could see Union Kitchen across the way with the "Open" sign SHINING BRIGHT like a diamond! I excitedly exclaimed to my husband and daughter, "Union Kitchen is open!" As a result, all three of us hurriedly sprinted off towards Union Kitchen leaving our truck parked near First Watch, lol. Upon entering the building, I was greeted by the hostess, a beautiful young lady who came running towards me, hugging me, and saying , "Happy New Year Ms. D!" To my surprise when I looked up to see who was greeting me by my last name, it turned out to be one of my senior students who's currently in my English IV class. I returned the hug and we were both ecstatic to see each other. To put the icing on the cake, not only was she the hostess, but she also ended up being our server. I couldn't have been happier! Her name is Emily and she is one of the most beautiful, intelligent, mature, and smart students that I have had the pleasure to work with in class. Emily informed us that she has recently become a server now that she is of age and that we would have to let her know how well she did. My husband, daughter, and I all agreed that Emily did an awesome job for her first time as a server. She was knowledgeable about the menu items and made some great suggestions for appetizers because we were stuck in limbo trying to decide what to order. I swear we wanted to order the entire menu because we were so hungry, lol. We started our breakfast off with orange juice and pineapple juice mimosas with a bottle of Wycliff Brut American Champagne. They were pretty solid. I tried not to down my Mimosa too fast, but it was hard not to because it was delicious! As for the food, we ordered the biscuits and gravy accompanied with the Million Dollar Deviled Eggs as our appetizers. Both were amazingly delicious, especially the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were a buttery golden brown bread with a butter enriched crunchy exterior and a warm and soft interior which seemed to melt in my mouth. Ohhh and the gravy!!! That sausage gravy was so delicious and full of delectable flavor with bits of chopped green onions and chunks of succulentl sausage marinating and floating around! I did not expect to taste the flavors of "grandma's" homemade buttery biscuits and gravy with a twist at Union Kitchen, so this was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this appetizer for anyone who enjoys great tasting biscuits and gravy. Furthermore, for our entrees, I ordered the S.O.S (Shrimp on a Shingle) brunch, which consisted of Thai flavored rice, toast, fried egg, and shrimp, topped with a lightweight brown gravy. It was very appetizing and light on my stomach. I enjoyed it thoroughly. My husband and daughter both had scrambled eggs, crispy fried pork bacon, diced potatoes, and buttermilk pancake stacks. They were in HIGH HEAVEN as they went in head first on their NEW YEAR BREAKFAST! The entire time as we were enjoying our food, I was thinking to myself, "Now this is how you start the New Year off right!" We toasted the New Year with our tasty Mimosas that were prepared by our server Emily. All was well and we were full and satisfied. In conclusion, Union Kitchen is an elegant and fancy establishment with great customer service and tantalizing mouth-watering cuisine. The ambiance is extremely pleasant with light noise and dim lighting. They are an ideal restaurant for a gathering of friends and family, business meetings, a couple's date night, or just flying solo. Furthermore, they are located in Towne Lake on the boardwalk near a tranquil and pristine lake with minimal boat traffic, which is perfect for taking a nice stroll after getting fat-full! So, not only will you have a succulent and flavorsome meal at Union Kitchen, but you will also have beautiful scenery to take in as you walk along the lake after your meal and try to count all the turtles that are swimming and playing around in the water. I highly recommend this hidden enchanting eatery. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I took a friend to lunch to celebrate a work anniversary on a random Wednesday at noon. Interior was nice and quiet. We were seated right away and greeted by the chef as well. I had never been there before and was shocked at the extensive options on the menu. It was hard to choose, but I had already come in with a craving for chicken fried steak! It did not disappoint. Large portion, great meat and yummy cream gravy. I can't wait to get back and try other things on their menu. I saw at least 6 to 7 items that I wanted to try. Zanetta was our server and she made the experience 10 times better by just being so kind, friendly, and by making some great suggestions. I'm a reservation person and appreciated that I can make reservations on OpenTable just to be safe. This is a white tablecloth and wine glasses at lunch type of place but I felt super comfortable coming in as casual as we were dressed! I might zhuzh it up a little bit more for dinner. I think this would be a great date place because just the menu itself is a conversation starter. Can't wait to bring my hubby back. I know he'll enjoy trying some of the different dishes they offer. Take away : make a reservation, grab your honey and enjoy an elegant lunch or dinner on Town Lake. Then enjoy a walk through the boardwalk shops and grab some sweets over at Crumbl.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch while checking out homes in the area. The restaurant wasn't easy to locate as it's on the backside of the building and not facing the parking lot. Once inside, the staff was nice and pleasant and sat us quickly. Our waitress was very nice and brought us drinks quickly. We just ordered some small plates to share. The dips were all good but the tomato soup was more like marinara sauce. The waitress removed it from our bill. We would definitely go!

Yelp
I wish I could give them a negative review. My tab was $220.46. They swipe my card for $100.00 and $186.27 and they stated that both transactions declined which is not true. The payments went through on my account. They wanted to swipe my card for a third time for the full balance $220.40, and I told them no since you have already swiped my card so many times that my bank has placed a fraud alert on my account. They told me that the general manager was going to come and speak with me about the situation and he never came and said a word. The manager Erin comes to the table and says we do not have to swipe the card again we fixed the issue. After, we have been sitting at the table 30 minutes after everyone has finished eating and being told that the payment was declined. This was a total embarrassment after knowing the money is in the account. I just want to thank them for ruining our Father's Day brunch. If you look at my Google review the manager Erin Stagner responded blaming me for them swiping my card multiple times. How ridiculous.

Cindy T.

Yelp
Made a reservation through Open Table. Brett was our server. He was attentive and friendly. We ordered the Calamari and tuna and crab tower. Both so delicious! I ordered the Union burger but left off the lettuce, tomato, and pickles. It was just the way I ordered it, plain! My dad got the Union burger fully loaded with everything. Oh so good. My brother enjoyed the General Tsaos short rib. My nephew order the Bleu pizza (didn't take a picture) but he enjoyed it as well. We sat back the back patio and enjoyed the scenery by the lake. Great and tasty dinner!

Karlee H.

Yelp
Came here with a reservation for a large group and they were plenty ready for us. They took our orders promptly, our staff was very friendly and chatty and were quick to refill beverages. We shared the bang bang shrimp, lobster potstickers, and crab and tuna tower and all were very very good. The tower was fresh with tasty crispy wonton wrappers for chips. The bang bang shrimp had a great sweet and spicy combination and the pot stickers were so so good. This was my first time having a portobello mushroom sandwich and it had so much more flavor than I was expecting. It was smoky and with great texture and the bun was toasted and buttery. And can't beat a great sweet potato fry. A great spot!

Alexis M.

Yelp
Highlights: Service was quick and punctual. The staff was very attentive with patience. We had such a big group and never went without our drinks being refilled. Food was delicious and the pizza crust was amazing. There was gluten free options, for anyone watching for gluten issues. For being such a big party we were not over crowded or surrounded by other parties. Drinks were delicious must try!

Yelp
4 stars for the lake view. It's a really nice seating area outside, with plenty of room and fans, and of course it's on the lake. We went there for breakfast and got the garden omelet and the fajita omelet. Both were pretty solid, a little lack of seasoning and the fajita omelet had basically 5 small cubes of steak in it. We also got the donut holes, and those were really good, coated in cinnamon and Nutella, with 2 types of dips. The service was alright, but I will forever be mad that I was charged $3 dollars because I asked for toast, and I got a singular piece of toast, a singular slightly burnt piece of toast. Overall, would I come back for breakfast... probably not But I will come back for lunch/dinner, hopefully that will be better.

Cindy S.

Yelp
Very good American cuisine and excellent service. Nice atmosphere and able to have conversation at the table and enjoy a meal!

Brittney D.

Yelp
Eehhhh. Sufficient or maybe notch above that for the lobster potsticker offering. This small plate was yum. My entree, the Boost bowl, was ok...better tasting than it looked. In my opinion: too much rice, greens were overdressed and, please, stop with the iceberg bases. Leave iceberg for an intentional wedge salad. Ppl who like salads do not like iceberg, we merely put up with it. Bowl was mostly bitter stems. That jalapeño quinoa cake deal was surprisingly alright. Overall, I'd come back bc I see some reviews from Yelp friends I trust. Two word review: kickin 'sticker.

Heather P.

Yelp
I like The Union Kitchen as I've been for brunch at the other locations in the city. They have an extensive menu, so everyone at your table are bound to find something that suits their tastes. I specifically like The Union Kitchen for brunch as they have many great options! I ordered the Breakfast Boost Bowl this time and while it wasn't bad, it could use more flavor as it was a bit bland. The fried chicken and waffles or chicken fried steak are delicious here though. This location is at Towne Lake Boardwalk, so the outdoor seating would be lovely on a nice day!

D R.

Yelp
This place use to be so much better. I don't know if it's the staff or the kitchen but our food took at least 45 mins and they forgot our appetizer which would have helped our hunger. The place was busy when we got there for a Tuesday night, but I still think it could have been manageable if the waitstaff would help each other. We might give it one more shot before deciding if it's gone downhill. We ordered the salmon special, the Greek wrap, and kid fettuccine. Food was decent.

Audrey T.

Yelp
We visited Union Kitchen-Towne Lake this past Sunday for brunch for a friends birthday. We made a reservation prior and were seated promptly. Our waiter recommended the build your own mimosa with the fresh squeezed watermelon juice which was great! We ordered appetizers; hummus, churro donut holes and deviled eggs. They were all really tasty. We all ordered from the brunch menu and our only complaint was the crab cake Beni was a little too fishy. Everything was good- Union bowl, garden omelette, California Beni. Our waiter was a little forgetful and fairly slow but overall was a good experience.

Heather L.

Yelp
Atmosphere was lovely but my food was just not great. I will give it another try at a later date and hold to be able to update the review

Athena H.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat lunch when I'm at work, this place consistently impresses. I've tried a variety of dishes, and each surpasses the last in terms of taste and satisfaction. The diverse menu ensures there's something for everyone, complemented by exceptional service from a warm and welcoming team. The added bonus of a serene lake view enhances the overall dining experience. A top choice for a delightful dining escape.

Yelp
So l finally had a chance to try out this Restaurant in town lake called Union Kitchen for the first time on Father's Day,Not sure if I would be returning l ordered the blackend red fish Orleans my fish wasn't cooked properly it took over 40 minutes to get to me and even longer for a manager to even acknowledge my situation its like all the managers there were definitely dodging my problem and my table and tried to even go as far as to persuade me to buy something even more expensive..lied about a drink I would get like that would fix my current situation,my experience was the worst..mangers lie then try to blame everything on unrelated sources..they need new Managers indeed..they didn't even want to acknowledge my problem professionally..it's not the staff it's the Managers ... food distasteful don't recommend this place to any of my friends if i could give 0 stars i would.Need new MANAGERS and this place would be a better environment...

Aid Z.

Yelp
This was a hit for me! The vibes are cute, I love how it's a little industrial but still a vibe. I got the Honey Sriracha Salmon and it was so good. The veggies were a highlight as well! Also got some grits on the side and those weren't my favorite. They were just lacking seasoning; nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix though! Service was very good!! I had Zenetta as my waitress and she was very attentive. Can't wait to go back and try something new :)

Rovena F.

Yelp
UPDATE: Answer to the MANAGER: I'm a chef, so is my mother, and I make risotto all the time, that's why I ordered it!!!! I said that the "so called risotto" was made with some plain rice, and NOT MADE with ARBORIO! You sure missed some classes of text's interpretation! Gee!! With that said, I DO have lots of knowledge!! You forgot to justify the fruit FlLIES that were on our plate, and around us! You should clean your kitchen, the problem is there! Thank you! Server was excellent, but the food didn't meet our expectations at all. I ordered the "so called" risotto, which was a creamy rice, not arborio, which is used to make the real risotto. My husband had the scampi pasta which was overcooked. Other than that, there were lots of flies (not sure if it was drain or fruit ones), they were really small, and it kept bothering us thoughout dinner. Please, the manager should be noticed!!!!

Asiah C.

Yelp
Our first visit was okay. The location has a great view of water that would be perfect sitting outside on a warm day. The inside looked nice and welcoming. I loved that some of the servers were dressed up for the holidays. The food was good, not amazing. My favorite was the churro donut holes and peach bellini. A lot of it didn't have enough flavor for me. I liked the steak burrito, but added a bit of cajun hot sauce to it. I had my breakfast potatoes crisped with peppers, onions, and cheese. Doing it that way saved it, I highly recommend it. The deviled eggs were okay. My partner had the breakfast boost bowl. It was definitely a healthy option he was looking for, but he did add a bit of salt, pepper, and cajun sauce. Overall, it was a great visit, but I would check out other items to see what I'd enjoy more.

Maria V.

Yelp
It was our first time here and our server was amazing. She was so attentive, friendly & hospitable. She helped us out with questions we had, described the featured lunch entre & chefs choice dessert well to us. We started our lunch with the TUk's spin dip and it was delicious. The spinach artichoke dip has tons of cheese and the chips were perfectly crispy. I got the General Tso Short Rib and it was amazing! The sauce was nice and sweet. The bok choy in the rice was good and the pistachios gave it a nice crunch. My friend got the toasted ravioli topped with grilled chicken. I got to try one and the Spicy Rosa sauce & basil pesto were very tasty! Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of that dish. We ended lunch with their beignets, they were covered in a caramel sauce that was absolutely addictive. The pastry was nice and pillowy and it was covered in delicious powdered sugar and it had a few fresh strawberries on top that helped the dish not be overly sweet. I accompanied my dessert with a cappuccino which was the perfect paring for me. The tables seemed a little close to others but overall the place was clean and quiet.

Takenya C.

Yelp
One word: overrated. I'm sure if this place wasn't listed in the sensationalized TowneLake square, it would not get half the attention. Aesthically, there no denying the page is not nice... but the good is subpar They offer an extensive menu but I've been twice and it's nothing to run back to. Sorry. Not. Sorry. I wish people would give other local places a try and skip this joint. The service was standard. Go elsewhere. Use your night out for somewhere else.

Yvonne D.

Yelp
WHOA. The spicy margarita that Stephanie just made for us is fire! The bomb. I drank the whole thing in under 2 minutes and have more coming!

Derrick D.

Yelp
Took my fiancé here for Mother's Day with our 1 year old. They accommodated us with a high chair and greeted us at the door enthusiastically. The staff was extremely nice and outgoing several managers spoke to use as well, but personally the ambiance of the restaurant was dull. The environment would be my only negative comment because the FOOD......WAS GREAT! I had the chicken & waffle concoction I was weary of it being a lot of food at first. Once I started eating it, I couldn't stop. Everything you see on the stick was great, I will say I was not impressed with the grits only because it had a bitter aftertaste. Honestly I probably won't be back as I just feel there are more exciting restaurants to try.

Arriana S.

Yelp
Took a quick brunch trip with my friend and I absolutely love this place! The service is always good and the food is just as good if not better, and the vibes are always right! Spinach & Artichoke Dip : 9/10, was soooo creamy and cheesy was the perfect balance of cheese and spinach. Lobster grilled cheese : is absolutely one of my go to's!! I typically get this every time i go, for seafood lovers i definitely recommend!! The brunch drinks are always good and worth it!

Toy D.

Yelp
OMG, Stephanie Mathews at the bar makes the BEST Cucumber Martini on the planet!!!! So refreshing it's unbelievable!!!! Gooooooooooo get one and see Stephanie, she rocks!!

Angie M.

Yelp
Okay...16 days later....we're BACK For OUR SCHEDULED Valentine's Day/Superbowl Weekend Brunch. Many thanks to Anthony and Kara were phenomenal with adhering to our reservation's desires, and our server, J.J, as the 'host with the most' with his stellar food recommendations! That awesome Pancake Board-a new twist on non-savory charcuterie, beignets, and deviled eggs, and our entrees...SEE THE PHOTOS!!!

Katherin O.

Yelp
Very nice place in front of the lake, making for a very relaxing experience, food was good, and service was very nice. We liked it.

Yovani G.

Yelp
They took forever to bring me my food and there was not many consumers. Waitress also promised me my drink and it never got here! Will only come here if you want food with no flavor

Ava K.

Yelp
I ordered the shrimp burger. I found a sticker in it, possibly from the tomato. Was ok otherwise.

Ashley W.

Yelp
The Fried Asparagus with the crab meat and shrimp were sooooo good! Love the atmosphere as well.

Jay Z.

Yelp
What a Fantastic Sunday Brunch! Great price for Mimosas when you get the Special. The food was amazing, Beignets came out hot and perfect, The Crab Cake Benedict was Delicious and honestly my favorite and the Lobster omelette was outstanding. Wish we were able to try the Breakfast Nutella and fruit pizza we took to go to enjoy later but we left it in the box closed and the condensation destroyed it. Thank You to our server Kay, for excellent service, You made Sarah's Birthday celebration even better. Highly recommend and definitely will be returning.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Service is delightful here! Immediately greeted on a busy Sunday night from the bartender, Sabdy! Great drinks! Food was ran by enthusiastic teammates named Nelson and Liesl! Great service and ambience here. Would love to come back on a Friday night and enjoy the live music by the patio! Can't wait to come back! Thanks for the great service and drinks again Sadby!

Jeff C.

Yelp
We were excited to try this place for the first time, but we won't be back. The food wasn't prepared with any care. The crab meat they used was gross, and the chicken fried steak was chewy and soggy. The saving grace would have been the eggs but they were almost raw. Rest of the table was disappointed as well. How do you mess up a hamburger? Had to get up several times to find someone to refill our beverages. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but I don't think so. Eye contact dodging was in full effect by all the staff. I also ordered a $7 brunch bloody mary and was charged $12. I'd go somewhere else of I were you.

Vincent L.

Yelp
Pretty good restaurant with a e excellent view of the lake. Food was good, not great. Steak was medium rare, but may be a little too salty. Good portions, excellent salad.

Sicely L.

Yelp
We've had the margarita pizza and the fish and chips along with the bread pudding and beignets. And it was all very delicious.

Andrew D.

Yelp
Sure yah the food is good , but let me tell you the service is so amazing !! Just know that if your server is Liesl K. Just know you're gonna be really taken care of Whether it's the hostess server down to the cooks on god you will be taken care of !!

Juan Q.

Yelp
Takes forever 32 minutes for an Appetizers. Asked the server "sorry Sir We are busy in the kitchen"

Alison E.

Yelp
I went to The Union kitchen and we had a wonderful evening. The manager Laura was extremely nice and friendly and the food was fantastic! If you go ask to be sat in Pablo's section. His customer service is great!

Yelp
I went for lunch with a friend and later for dinner with my husband food was pretty good good flavors and good portions. Both times the staff was super nice and accommodating drinks were good too! I will definitely be back again. The area was nice you can go for a walk right after dinner along the water.
