"Are human beings closely related to sea lions? We don’t know, but given how deliriously happy we are sat semi-horizontally on the water in Little Venice, we’re going to say yes. This pub a little further along the Grand Union Canal doesn’t have the kind of food that’ll make you transcend space and time, but they do have one of the best canal-side terraces in London. Lovely pub down by the canal with split level seating areas, some outdoor sections overlooking the canal, perfect for a nice warm evening or daytime snack. The beers were good, the staff very friendly and it was quite empty when we were there just after 12. The food looked nice, although we only had a light snack. Sunday roast is available too.

It was great meeting and seeing new interesting people and other kindred spirits, in a really historically rich and cultured town, outside of London. The drive there was well worth it! Thanks for the excellent food, the great service and the fun and secure atmosphere everyone can see, feel, hear and enjoy.

Recently re-done and the place looks great! Was a vibe on a sunny day. Could definitely use another bar or more people working on a sunny day as there was quite line. Once you got to the front the staff were all really lovely!

What a lovely pub. Great sandwiches - really good! Sadly didn't get the name of the young lad who was serving us but he was such a gem. We were meeting up with friends after a horrible bereavement so it was awful circumstances but he was so lovely it really cheered us up. The kindness of strangers means a lot in those times so top marks for service, and everything else. Thank you.

The hallmark of the Union Tavern has to be its location on the Grand Union canal. Should be a good spot in Summer. They also have ‘visiting’ beers. I managed to get a tasty wheat beer. Otherwise good pub grub.

Had a lovely plate of fish & chips, a burger, nachos, and a foofy drink and few pints of Guinness on a Friday evening and were very pleased overall

Really lovely pub. Outdoor seating by the canal. Loads of different styled seating areas! Staff are really fun and funny, especially Georgia! They have a fireplace in one of the cosy areas. I will be going back for the vegan nachos again and to try the vegan burger. I hope they add a vegan dessert soon too! We only went for one drink ended up staying for hours! They have great flower arrangements too!
