My experience with the University of Arizona has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. After deciding to completely withdraw, I followed every required step – I withdrew from all my classes, notified my advisors, contacted Financial Aid and Admissions, and even submitted the official Cancel Admission form. Despite doing everything correctly, I’m still being billed for a semester I’m not attending and for financial aid I never accepted.
Every time I reach out for help, I get bounced from department to department with no real answers. No one seems able or willing to take responsibility or give clear guidance. Instead of resolving the issue, they just repeat information I already know and send me in circles.
This lack of communication and accountability has caused unnecessary stress and is now affecting my ability to move forward with other educational opportunities. For a large university, the administrative process is shockingly disorganized and unhelpful.
I expected far better support and professionalism. I would not recommend dealing with this institution if you can avoid it.
