Had a pistol magazine being returned to a store in Ft. Worth to exchange, sealed in a plastic package like you'd see hanging on a peg board. They saw the name on the address label and refused to ship it. When asked I told them a magazine being returned. Once they figured out what that was they refused. UPS will, but being a franchise they apparently set their own rules as they said they don't ship "gun parts." This is ridiculous as it wasn't a firearm, just a magazine. Not hazardous, not deadly, just a magazine. The UPS driver picking up was outside and agreed it was stupid. However there was nothing hè could do since a franchise, not owned by UPS. So they set their own rules. They'll ship scopes though, but not gun parts is what I was told. A scope goes on a rifle just as a magazine goes in a pistol, but they consider it a gun part. Makes no sense. As the driver agreed, stupid. Sealed in plasic, not hazardous, was just the wrong one I was exchanging. This was nothing but political. I guess if night sights or grip panels they'd refuse as well. But will scopes for rifles..Makes no sense.
