The Urban Canopy

I've composted with Urban Canopy for years and did the CSA for a couple of years as well. I appreciate everything they do to support local agriculture and keep food waste out of landfills. The staff are always a pleasure to work with and they make both services super convenient by providing dedicated drop-off/pick-up days, letting you know what you'll be receiving in advance through the CSA, and providing a helpful online portal to make changes to your schedule and payments.

The Urban Canopy provides such an easy and affordable solution for composting. They have fantastic customer service, great digital reminders and communication. The website is so intuitive and clear, making any shift in service a breeze.

We have loved our service with The Urban Canopy - the staff are extremely thoughtful, quick to respond, and deeply considerate. The produce is fresh, and we have enjoyed the local breads and beverages included each week. Highly recommend the CSA service.

I loved this service! My husband and I care deeply about sustainability so having a composting service available for those urban areas is a fantastic option. We even got to pick up a free 5 gal bucket of compost each spring season to add to our garden which felt like a full circle. I frequently forgot to set out my bucket the night before and often had to call and apologize (sorry again!) but every time the team was kind and always looped back around to pick it up again. Wonderful service to have! Would (and have) recommend to all of my friends!

Such a great service. Easy to setup and zero worries delivery, the quality and diversity of the produce is great, there are often interesting additions to the box and the add-on shop is quite useful. Also, the customer service is top notch, making it very easy to accommodate changes. I have been using them for over two years and I've been really happy.

First year getting their CSA and I’ve loved it! I will say it can be a lot for 1 person to get through but it’s made me learn a ton about how to properly store veggies to keep things fresher for longer. Pro tip - stock up on brown paper bags!

We love love love our urban canopy subscription!! All the pluses of a farm share, with the benefit of it coming directly to my house, billing monthly instead of all up front, lots of local brands and product, a different bread, beverage, and mushrooms, plus veggies (we have chickens so we opted out of eggs).

I have composted with Urban Canopy for years and they are wonderful. They're communicative and it's also nice that they have rewards, you can get great quality soil for your garden. They also send very helpful pickup reminders but in the off chance you do forget about pickup, it's not a big deal and they can pick it up next time. Highly recommend!
