Cute, quaint, and so yummy! Java Jolt smoothie was perfect. The Breakfast Flatbread had so much flavor and was huge. The Almond Butter açaí bowl was a great size and delish. But the maybe the best thing was the package of vegan energy bites!!!

Google
One of the BEST açaí places I’ve ever been to. My son and I were staying near by for a few days and we went 3 days in a row. Super friendly staff, excellent açaí, fresh fruit and toppings at a great price for açaí. The inside is small but super clean and cute. My son got the Endless Summer bowl and I got the Nutella bowl. Both were 💯!

I am visiting from out of town, so I was so excited to be see the Urban Juicer by the place I was staying. A perfect breakfast and brunch spot! It is such a cute little shop off the main strip. They have healthy juices, frushies, teas, smoothies, super foods, organic snacks, and healthy foods. Their menu was simple to understand, and had really good options without being overwhelming. And their sandwich was delish!! I got the “Sunrise Sandwich” (to die for, I need another to go!) and the “Power Lunch” Power Line smoothies with protein powder to go. Their environment was adorable, small, and quaint. Very inviting. They even had an outdoor patio sitting area. Parking is easy as you pull up in front or down the side and it’s free. Their customer service was really great and they were really low-key without being pushy but also welcoming. The only thing I didn’t like is that I didn’t feel they were super sustainable having plastic straws, spoons, forks, plastic cup containers etc. I also didn’t see compost bins or recycling bins. So they’d get a 1 star for not being an earth conscious or sustainable business. Do they locally source their fresh foods from hometown gardeners and farmers? I don’t know. I sure hope so. They didn’t push for that info anywhere to know. (And I love to know) BUT, I do love that they are ADA compliant. That is always a plus. There is a bit of a cement stoop (see photos) from the main patio, to wheel up through the main door that might be challenging for wheelchair guests. Their floor signage is also right there so it might be hard to navigate around it. But the sign is movable. Overall, loved everything about it. They got only 4 stars since they aren’t 🍃!

Was recommended here by a colleague who said it was "a nice place with some quality health foods and juices." UNDERSTATEMENT to this establishment. First time visitor, forever customer. The look of TUJ from the outside didn't necessarily give me the impression of what was going on inside. The branding for me is a bit of a disconnect but then again, I don't know about their inner workings. They had plenty of "grab-n-go" options to the left of entering. Coffees, water, various food items, etc. The first thing that hits you is the aroma of the fresh herbs, veggies and fruits they use. You can see them on display just behind the register and the bar where the fresh juices and smoothies are made. A cute, hand decorated seating area is to the right, as well as the restrooms. The kitchen area is out of sight, so I can't comment as to it's appearance. The inside was tidy and clean, and the ladies there were very friendly and didn't mind me taking my time as a first-timer, asking questions and looking things over thoroughly. I settled on a cold brew CBD coffee (a diff review), the flatbread "Positively Pesto" and my friend chose the Zoodles and the flatbead "Sweet and Savory". The food was delivered to our tables within 10-12 min, smelled delicious and was hot and certainly fresh (except for the Zoodles, they were a cold dish). I usually don't salt anything, so the sodium in my flatbread was just right, but did get a little salty at the end (bc I ate the whole thing?? Lol) I couldn't stop eating... Every ingredient was fresh and crisp, and tasted like it was just prepared. Major props. I usually meal prep my own meals, and cook from raw natural ingredients. I didn't feel as though I was "cheating" my diet with these foods. It felt like something I would, and could, make. The girls were super cool with my photo taking and were happy I was reviewing them. They seemed joyed to work there, which I love seeing. Smiles all around. I hope this location is here for years to come, and I will definitely be back. I have opinions on things to improve, but won't post publicly. 👍🏻 All around, a 5-star visit.

Google
White blonde girl was rude for absolutely no reason. The place was empty and we greeted her pleasantly. This was my first time here and I will not be coming back for that reason alone.

Google
Food and drink were pretty decent. Things appear to be what they say they are. The place was pretty empty. Decided to dine in. The inside area only seats 12. There is a pickup area that is central to the dining area and honestly an extra 4-5 steps from any table. That being said the small gesture of handing me my order would have went a long way. Instead of placing it in the pickup area and walking away. After feeling like my order was taking a while I looked around to see that what appeared to be it was sitting there. There were only 2 other people in the establishment.

Google
Exceptional service and very welcoming group of people. Juice bars are the first thing I look for going to visit any town to stick up for the visit. The juices are phenomenal and all high quality ingredients. All of the power balls and snacks are vegan friendly as well. We will definitely be back when we are in town next.

Great environment, simple menu, no sugar, and a kind staff. what more could you ask for. They do offer military discount and have wife.

Yelp
How lucky are we to have an Urban Juicer in the neighborhood! It is the perfect place to swing by for smoothies, juice, or bowls. My favorite two smoothies are the Power Lunch and the Green Machine. If you think you'll go there at all regularly, it is very worth it to download the app and join the loyalty program. They share great deals through the app like BOGOs and the points accumulate pretty quickly! The points can be used for free size upgrades or other treats. There is limited seating inside, but plenty when the weather is nice as there are several tables outside. There is more parking along the side of the building and behind the building - sometimes the three spots in front can get a bit overwhelming with 8th right before them. You can pull out into the alley behind to make an stress-free square to the light on Bradford Ave.

Yelp
I've been struggling to find a good smoothie spot in Nashville and prefer to make my own. Stopped at the Urban juicer after a workout and tried their Power Lunch smoothie. Great flavor even with the subbed vanilla whey vs chocolate. Staff is friendly and service was quick! More of a grab and go spot and there is parking out front and a lot in the back. Casual spot but serve as up healthy and not sugary smoothies.

Yelp
Today was my first time ordering from Urban Juicer, and I got the Southwest burrito for breakfast. It was divine! I think it was specifically the aioli, maybe. Over all, from the first bite to the last, it was scrumptious. I'll be back for sure to try different options.

Yelp
Overall I love getting smoothies and their protein power balls. There store alone is cute and small, they have three tables where you could stay and eat/chat. I usually order and take my smoothie to go since I am on a rush. The parking is where it get tricky, there is a lot in the back along with 4-5 spots right in front of the shop. Note that this location is right off 8th ave. and this street get BUSY so if you are turning left into the location - please be careful; if you are turning right then you should be fine getting in. For getting out this is also another tricky situation so just be aware during rush hour(s). Every time I have gone to this location there is always at least two employees and they help me once I walk in. I love their smoothies and have not gotten any of their food but have heard great reviews of their acai bowl that I would come back to try.

Yelp
I just recently became a pressed juice/smoothie girl but when I did I knew I had to check out The Urban Juicer. This shop has delicious juice, freshly made to order or pressed juice in bottles to purchase as well. They even have cold brew items for all my caffeinated peeps, which I will need to try next. I also bought a wrap which was so fresh and delicious. I definitely will be back.

Yelp
berry bowl: 9/10 (delicious but small) liquid lunch smoothie: 8/10 (yummy and normal) really good! great level of sweetness and all the flavors go so well together. it was really expensive for the size but i would get it again! i will be writing another review after i've tried more bowls with rankings and what not. very quick! also small inside but i took mine to go. i think also all the bowls have the same base but with different toppings. i will be trying the other flavors. free parking lot in front

Josh ..

Yelp
Stopped in to try a smoothie to see how it compares to other shops. Meh.. Taste was just o.k. but not good enough to justify the super high prices. Staff were ok

Yelp
Wow. I would always expect to walk in a business and be greeted in some way...like, hello, we will be right with you, can we help you? ANYTHING. Being passed by 3 employees multiple times, eye contact but no engagement. Just UNACCEPTABLE. Customer service is a big part of business. Plenty of other places to get juice.

Avery R.

Yelp
Smallest acai bowl I've had. Ordered a bowl wanting a specific ingredient. When I received my bowl, it was missing the ingredient and when I went to ask for it, they informed me they were out. They charged the full amount which they insisted on. They did this while up charging me for an added ingredient for another bowl.
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
Well my first experience was not the best. It was my fault for misinterpreting the ingredients. I ordered the frenchie I don't eat Canadian Bacon I thought it was regular bacon. So I ended up eating apple toast... The energy bites were FANTASTIC! (I had two). The staff was friendly, but flustered. They seemed behind the whole time we were there. One thing to note is the food will not come out in the order that it was answered. So pay attention! The eat in area is very small but cute and clean. Would try it again.

Yelp
This was my first time trying urban juicer and I LOVED everything about it! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by 2 happy employees! I ordered the dreamsicle protein shake and it was amazing! The service was super quick and like I mentioned before, they employees couldn't had been nicer. When I mentioned this was my first time, they couldn't have been sweeter. Long story short, I'll be back again and again. The service alone is enough to make me come back.

Yelp
We got two wraps and devoured them before I could get a photo. The chicken wrap was delicious. The quinoa salad with it was outstanding. I'm hungry just thinking about it. We also split an açaí bowl. Omg. It was heaven in a bowl. The berries and granola on top were perfect. The almond butter was delicious. Their service is second-to-none. Very attentive and cheerful. Do yourself a favor and grab a meal here.

Yelp
Açaí bowls are fantastic, and they have gluten free breakfast sandwiches! They are also careful with nuts. I recommend the Nutella bowl!

Yelp
Urban Juicer is one of my favorite places for smoothies in all of Nashville. I frequent the one on 8th - it's the closest one for me. There isn't much indoor seating, but I'm usually taking it to go anyway. I love a few different smoothies on their menu. I feel like they're consistently well done and made perfectly. Everyone that works there is always friendly and helpful too - which makes a big difference in my book. They do have limited / unique hours (in my opinion) so be sure to check before you go! I would highly recommend trying Urban Juicer though - even over the other many similar places in town. I'm not certain but it seems like you get a little more for your money than some other places too. I've tried a lot of others and Urban Juicer is still the best, in my opinion. I wish they'd open a location near Brentwood, but it's probably best for my finances that they don't. ;)

Madison H.

Yelp
Ah I want to love this location but they are super all over the place. In the last 2 months, I've gone twice and they have a sign that says "no smoothies or juice", which I can only imagine is a broken blender or missing ingredients. Both of which I feel should have a back up since those are their biggest items. Also, I had an order last week where I ordered a Nutella açaí bowl and I got home to see there was no Nutella. When they have things/ make it right, it's great but it's such an annoyance to stop by and always expect something will be wrong.

Yelp
After so long of trying other juice places in Nashville, I finally made to Urban Juicer! I didn't know why I waited so long - I enjoyed a really delicious green protein smoothie here. I had the Bee Green and added protein powder (you can pick your protein type - whey, hemp, etc. - love the choices!). The large smoothie was REALLY big, actually - I had to save about 1/3 to drink later in the day. The prices are WONDERFUL for the sizes - so much better than Juice Bar and other local places around town. My only two gripes with this place is the parking is a big awkward in front of the shop but right next to the street - if you're pulling out, just be careful bc busy street. I came with a friend and it took longer than I expected to get our orders. Worth the wait for a GREAT drink? probably. Really excited to come back and try a bowl or another smoothie. This may be my new place to come post-workout!
google avatar

Yelp
The perfect go-to for your health kick! Ordered UJ on postmates and was very pleasured. I've ordered the curry chicken wrap many times but this was hands down the best. It was packed with ingredients I actually was able to eat it for both lunch and dinner. The side of quinoa with her homemade vinigrette is the perfect side.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
This place is good but their prices are a bit ridiculous. And if they are out of an ingredient for the drink you want they don't reduce the price at all
google avatar

Yelp
New Favorite Lunch Spot!!! Customer Service: Being that it was my first visit, I had many questions. The associate Caitlin was a HUGE help. Though she couldn't answer all my questions she made the effort to find the answers. Cleanliness: Both exterior and interior are clean and welcoming. The chalkboard wall is a nice touch. **Seating inside and out (but limited). Food: I had the "Brave Heart" juice and the "Super Chicken salad" from the refrigerated section. Both were delicious and filling however $13 for 2 items is a bit much. Guess that's the price you pay for convenient healthy options. Cons: I asked another associate about the bone broth and chicken broth they had advertised throughout the front counter. I was informed they were out and did not have an expected date for a new shipment. She mentioned that the product had been highly requested. I was mostly bummed that there was no ETA on when they would have the product. Also, when asked if the chicken was organic, antibiotic and hormone free, the associate said she didn't know.

Yelp
Best smoothies in Nashville. Amazing wraps and salads as well. Definitely will be back soon

David H.

Yelp
Better call before you go, if you want to make sure you're not wasting your time. I went in the middle of the day, there was an "open sign" in the window, and there was signage in the front area welcoming people, so it looked like things were normal... Nope. They were closed due to "staffing issues." I get it - we live in a crazy world right now. But when you don't have enough care for your customers to turn out the lights when you're closed and look like you're closed, you've got bigger problems than lack of staffing.
google avatar

JL H.

Yelp
They should update their door sign as it says they close at 7pm (and so does google and yelp) but they close at 6pm. Drove out of my way since other juice bars were closed and was very disappointed.
google avatar

Anne R.

Yelp
So so good! Wish I could eat Like this everyday. Celery Drink yum!!!! And I had a quinoa bowl that was amazing. And my model loves having a lighter option before a shoot.
google avatar

Shub N.

Yelp
I have never had any issues with the food or service here. I'm more of a juice chic so I've never gotten a smoothie but the well being is very good! The avocado toast is good and the alfalfa sprouts are extra crunchy! I love the bowls however I wish they would incorporate options to build your own bowl which included adding plant burgers (Beyond Meat or the Impossible Burger), but that is just my own suggestion. You can get the Impossible Burger on one of their flatbreads and that is good as well!
google avatar

Jasmin W.

Yelp
I love Urban Juicer. It's one of my Goto spots for a healthy treat. I'm in love with their Almond Butter Bowl. It has the perfect combo of sweet, crunchy, chewy, creamy & fresh ingredients. I'd eat it everyday.
google avatar

Kristi B.

Yelp
I ordered the pesto zucchini bowl with chicken, the Apple Press and Liquid Lunch for my colleague throw Post Mates. The bowl comes cold with luke warm chicken. I ended up heating the noodles up because they did not taste good cold and the pesto was very runny. I almost had to wear a bib because the pesto was splashing on my desk and me. The Apple Press tasted like you were drinking liquid ginger. I had a spice loving colleague try it and she said "unless this cures cancer I am not drinking this." I ended up throwing the Apple Press away because I couldn't choke down the ginger juice. On the positive side my colleague loved her yummy, creamy, peanut butter goodness of a smoothie.

Yelp
super good. best juices in town! also has great salad options for being on the go! nice staff as well

Yelp
Love, love, LOOOVE this place! Cool vibe, friendly people and the smoothie I got was amaaazing! So excited they have 24oz!! Will definitely come back! :)
google avatar

Thomas V.

Yelp
This was my first time. I got the Chocolate Raspberry smoothie and it was delicious. I used the free superfood add-in you get from the Yelp app and added in chia seeds. The woman working the counter was incredibly nice and answered the many questions I had. Definitely coming back!!
google avatar

Zoraida K.

Yelp
I am no expert of juicing haunts! This is just in my neighborhood and conveniently on my work commute, and Saturday morning walks if they are planned properly! It always clean, the staff is always polite and bright eyed and all drinks are made to order. There is food available "to go" as well. AND the A/C is always blowing strong! Win.Win

Jami T.

Yelp
What wonderful customer service! Patrick and Vince were so friendly and more than helpful! I will go out of my way to come back to this location because of them!
google avatar

Yelp
First of all I have to say that the service is always 5 stars and the taste of the product is always 5 stars. However, I recently reached out to the company to get details on a couple of items in the açaí bowl and was disappointed with what I found out. The coconut cream has the following ingredients: Coconut Milk, Water, Polysorbate 60, Guar Gum, Sodium Carboxl Methyl, Cellulose, Sodium Metabisulfite (Preservative). The coconut flakes has the following ingredients: Coconut, Sugar, Water, Propylene Glycol (Sustains Freshness), Salt, Sodium Metabisulfite (Preserves Whiteness). Maybe it's just me, but I expected the coconut cream and the flakes to be pretty true to it's whole food source. I'm doing a Whole30 and needless to say these items are far from chemical free. Be conscious of hidden ingredien Updated rating to 5 stars: please see the response from the business owner. I imagine this will be in effect soon.

Yelp
Juices, smoothies, and some light food (acai bowls, of course). There are quite a few juice/smoothie places around now, but I have to say that this is one I don't frequent. Their juices and smoothies are as good as everyone else's, but geez - I do not want to have to pull into their tiny parking lot right off of 8th Ave. Good luck getting out. I'd definitely stop by if traffic is light or on a weekend. But I would never ever ever ever stop during high traffic hours!
google avatar

Hilary M.

Yelp
Finally got around to trying this place and loved it! Staff was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I got the Bee Green & my husband got the Strawbana--I'll admit I didn't think the drinks would be super tasty because a lot of "healthy" drinks aren't...but I was pleasantly surprised! I honestly loved my choice! Just enough sweetness with the OJ, honey, and fruit. Before we left, the woman working generously offered us free lemon/ginger/cayenne shots with apple slices (usually cost $1-3) and I thought that was very kind! Hope to be back for another visit soon!
google avatar

Cory B.

Yelp
Small juice bar, but cool city vibe. I'd expect to see it in small space downtown somewhere. They have a great location on 8th Ave with some outdoor seating which is nice in the summer. They offer a decent variety of fresh juices to order and in bottles. They also have some healthy meal options and other goodies.
google avatar

Marcia M.

Yelp
I can't help but hide my enthusiasm that new spots are opening up around the city (and 'burbs too!) where you can purchase fresh juices and healthy foods too. The Urban Juicer is located on 8th Avenue where the old Fiddlecakes used to be located. They did a nice job with the exterior design but the interior is a bit cramped albeit a nice aesthetic. While I hand it to them for creating a menu of interesting juice blends with catch monikers like "The Liver Lover" or "The Wake Up Call", I was a bit disappointed with the end result. It was just "okay" in flavor but when I compare it to the juices that I have picked up at Juice Nashville, Turnip Truck, or Whole Foods... something just seems amiss. I haven't tried any of the smoothies yet but am curious to try one. I did however order half of a veggie wrap and although it was tasty, the price was definitely on the expensive side. I had a bit of sticker shock because the wrap was just so puny in size. I sincerely doubt that I will order it again. I will definitely give The Urban Juicer another try as I love what they are contributing to our community and I believe that with a little tweaking, that they will rise to the top.

Yelp
We've been here a few times, and the service is hit or miss. The other day I walked in 30 minutes before the place was supposed to close to find it all packed up for the night and nothing for sale. I was surprised! Why bother have business hours? The guy gave me not what I wanted, which was a fresh juice, (he handed me a bottled one) and then charged me full price for it. Then this weekend, my girlfriend got food poisoning from one of their chicken wraps in the little box lunch. (Yes, we are sure it was them. We are identically EXCEPT this one meal. She got very ill, I did not.) I emailed them directly asking for a refund and telling them about the experience. They insisted that their practices are all clean and their food is good, the guy I was emailing was polite, but I had asked for a refund and all he did was credit us $10 for the next time we go in. I found that very stingy and also, we don't really want to go back after she was sooo sick all night. Plus, we spent more than $10 on the food that she ate that day. Seems really illogical and like they didn't believe us. But trust, she will no doubt be avoiding them for a long while. I dunno, I expected a refund for the amount spent. So, can't recommend this location.
google avatar

Shannon L.

Yelp
Their indoor seating was not available since it is small inside. I had a juice and energy bite. Everything was fresh and tasty for a great afternoon snack

Yelp
Ok so this place was amazing, like really GREAT the few food options and then the juices , but then the made the menu bigger and coffee and other stuff and it all went down hell , even there liquid lunch that i had to had almost every day , now it's horrible i couldn't drinking the last 2 times , very unfortunate
google avatar

Courtney H.

Yelp
Waited 30 minutes for 2 açaí bowls, even though the restaurant wasn't that full when we ordered them. Staff members out front were restocking items and doing maintenance tasks even though we had clearly been waiting for our food for a long time. Finally, one of the staff members noticed and ran into the back to check on our orders, which seemingly were forgotten about and then made incorrectly (mini bowls instead of full size). When the bowls finally arrived, they were smaller than expected compared to other juice bars we've visited in the past. To top it off, the woman making juices was wearing her mask below her nose. Bowls themselves were fine, but would not return.

Yelp
I have done two of your 3-day juice cleanses in the past year (March & September). They were both excellent experiences. I loved everything about it, except the beets. I am planning another juice cleanse! What a great way to start the New Year. I can be a miserable bitch the first two days but ready to conquer the world on Monday! I interviewed for my current job on day 3 of your juice cleanse back in September - no food or coffee for 48+ hours. It worked out amazingly. I NAILED the interview with a 5-figure salary increase! Day three is like a spiritual/mental/physical awakening. Wondering if I could make it through a 6 day cleanse. Hmmmm! Thinking..thinking... "Food for thought"!

Yelp
I am pretty surprised it took me so long to get here. With as much as I drive up and down 8th, I would have thought I would have stopped in many times. But add a spring weekend filled with errands and a determination to only eat fruit/drink juice/smoothies* and you wind up with TUJ. Initially, I was distressed by what I thought was only a couple of parking spaces (that backed up on to 8th). I was pleased to discover a few (few!) more parking spaces in back. If you come here, be advised that parking might be a chore. Or, plan on visiting the East End location. I digress... I parked and walked in. The space is fairly shallow but it's built out in such a way as to be hip without being hip-ster. Does that make sense? It's a sleek look. TUJ isn't going for the earth mama approach to juicing. The TUJ patron is more NYC juice than Norcal. Again, does that make sense? The A/C was on full blast and the wifi was strong. This is, definitely, a location that invites people to stay a while and get some things done. The pricing is welcoming as well. For $8, I was able to get a 24 oz. juice. My handy-dandy Yelp check-in gave me a free add-in. You're not going to find better juice prices in town. You're not. But what about the taste? I found the taste to be less sweet than other juice shops but I felt more full by the time I was done with it. Seeing that I was trying to be healthy, I ordered the Well Being. It's a combo of lemon, kale, spinach, ginger, cucumber, and green apple. I expected a bit more sweetness from the fruit but the dominant taste was ginger. I don't know if that's the way the juice tastes all the time or whether it was who made it for me. Gingers lovers/haters, take note. It's a fiber bomb so that accounts for the full feeling. It was an acquired taste but I wound up enjoying it. So much so that I have ordered the drink for other TUJ locations. I spied some pre-made salads in the cooler so if you need something solid to munch on, there's that. TUJ is a bit more serious than some of the other juice shops I've been to (decor, combos, etc.) but health is a serious matter so I'm not mad at it. Just be advised prior to checking in. This isn't your hippie's juice shop. *I try to detox at least once a week. Working for Yelp since 2009 could wreck havoc on my cholesterol/sugar levels without trying to take a day a week to not eat like a maniac. Working out helps as well.

Yelp
Great smoothies! Good value. Visited from out of town and went twice over the weekend. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This place was a life saver. I drink fresh juice everyday and we were on vacation. And it was a breath of fresh air. I got a few juices to go and a bowl. They were all delicious. clean and everyone was nice and helpful

Yelp
This place is good! I love a tasty juice! The lady working the counter was so helpful. I had an idea of what I wanted but she gave more tips. I really like beer juice and carrot juice so I tried a few to go and haven't been disappointed at all! Quick, tasty, and a great body reboot! I would recommend check in so you can get a free supplement in your juice or smoothie!

Yelp
I really loved the juice. And I'm not a juice guy. The service was the best Eva was so nice. She truly made my experience the best. John was awesome too, very friendly

Yelp
I feel bad leaving such a detailed response to my experience and realize now I was just in a bad mood because of it and I let it get the best of me. Maybe the person who helped me wasn't taking Covid as serious as I wished he had, but his actions should not reflect the company nor should it defer the public from stopping/shopping there. This is a great location and the other lady who helped me was very friendly. I was wrong to leave low stars, especially now when the economy is down and everyone already feels crazy because of 2020 and so I apologize.

Yelp
Over the past 6 months I have begun ordering food from The Urban Juicer and I have yet to have a bad meal! The sweet and savory flatbread is to die for! It has very a very unique flavor combination. The veggie wrap is also a win! As for smoothies, definitely get the Raspberry Buzz! The wait is never long, which is always a plus.
