The Urban Oven

This is a pretty good pizza place. The Sweet and Spicy is perticually good. Great cheese pull. Hot honey and peppers just work on a pepperoni pizza. I would definitely go there again. The kid behind the counter was very friendly and did a great job on the pizza. There is no dine in, but the pizza kept well on the way back to the hotel

This was my first time trying The Urban Oven, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with both the food and the overall experience. I ordered the Family Special for pickup at 5:15 PM. Since I can’t drive, my neighbor picked it up for me. When she arrived, only the two pizzas were given—none of the other items I ordered (breadsticks, pizza cookie, 2-liter, napkins, or utensils) were included. Because she couldn’t go back, I had to call the store. The associate apologized and offered to have the missing items delivered, which I appreciated. They arrived about 30–45 minutes later. As for the food:Pizzas: Both were bland and lacked flavor. The double pepperoni pizza tasted flat, with no real flavor in the sauce, cheese, or crust. The veggie pizza with garlic sauce was the same—the crust and sauce had no seasoning, and it felt like just bread, cheese, and vegetables. Very disappointing for the price. Breadsticks: These were seasoned heavily, maybe a bit too much, but still soft and enjoyable with the garlic and cheese sauces. Pizza cookie: This was the highlight—warm, soft, and very good. Overall, for the price I paid, the quality and flavor of the pizzas were not worth it. The breadsticks and cookie were decent, but forgetting half the order at pickup and the lack of flavor in the main dishes left me very disappointed. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from The Urban Oven again.

Overall pretty decent pizza. Pepperoni/sausage is good and there is a nice ratio of toppings, cheese, sauce and the crust. The BBQ Chicken is a bit different with the choice of toppings, but I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the breadsticks are absolute trash. Come from a box and are pretty low on the quality scale. They try to dress it up with some herbs/parm, but it isn't working. I highly suggest they move to making their own. It's EASY and tastes way better. FYI their menu on Google isn't accurate and I think it from the previous pizza place. They need to update. Also their website link is inaccurate currently and links to a Los Angeles - based business.

Bought the Supreme. Crust airy, slightly chewy. Could have been in the oven maybe a minute longer. Well constructed, even distribution of ingredients. Sauce was good with a nice tomato flavor, maybe a hint of lime needed for brightness. Toppings were generous. Would suggest possibly some fresh basil, oregano. Over all a very good pizza for the money.

I ordered a supreme pizza from the Urban Oven for the first time this past weekend. It was loaded with toppings, tasty sauce, good amount of cheese, and the crust was just right. It was a great experience and I will be ordering again.

This pizza is the best pizza I've ever had in my life and I am a picky pizza eater I would literally Drive 45 minutes to an hour just to have their Pizza make sure you don't miss out you literally can smell the deliciousness as soon as you get out of your car before even opening their front door

Love the staff from order to pick-up or delivery. The pizzas are baked to perfection. When delivered, the pizza is always hot and the drivers are very friendly.

I orsered the lemon pepper wings and a margarita pizza- SO good! Everything about the pizza was fresh and tasty, and the wings were perfect! Definitely will order again!

This was a one and done for us. Hearing how great it was. We built our own pizza to be delivered. Prefence for cooking was lite or well done, we chose lite. It was well done and charred a bit. Pepperoni on top crunchy and edges burned. If this was lite? What is well done. Breadsticks cold and no flavor

The pizza is phenomenal, we got a large pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese. Extra cheese which was great. Also they put the sausage under the cheese which is even better. Service was great and the setting is nice. Definitely will be back. Best pizza in Danville.

First time trying Urban Oven. We got a supreme pizza and it was amazing! The two gentlemen who helped us were very friendly and knowledgeable. We were waiting in our car for the pizza to be ready and they brought it out to the car! Service and pizza were great. Getting 4 large pizzas next week for our company meeting!

Great quality food in everything we've had, the margherita pizza is the best I've had! The prices are and customer service are good too.

Love this place a lot better than the previous pizzeria that was here. Better customer service better food overall just better in all aspects. Also, the prices are definitely more affordable than other pizzerias in the area.

tried it once, never to return. just as soon eat a frozen one and doctor it up myself.

Was hopeful on this one. Fresh topping ingredients but store bought dough. This is the same as buying a pizza crust at the grocery store and adding your own toppings. This is not hand tossed pizza.

Thank you for making one of the best pizzas I have had in years. I have been waiting to find a Jack's pizza that reminded of the old store on 52ND and College...you have done it. I have found my Pizza home
