The Varsity Pizza & Pints

The Varsity Pizza & Pints doesn't disappoint. They have a great selection of beers on tap, solid pizza and pepperoni rolls, TVs galore and great Texas Longhorn decor! This place is a must stop pre-game or just anytime.

It's a fun place to be. Check the specials before you go, the pepperoni rolls are alright. Legend says there's a pizza buffet on Sundays. They have a good selection of beers on tap. The atmosphere is pretty good, it can get a little loud.

For a college bar they actually have great pizza. I know pizza is tough to mess up but I would easily recommend this to any pizza lover living in north campus. The pepperoni rolls of amazing too! Really thick and juicy. Tons of TVs to watch the games too. Overall, a nice environment.

This place has GREAT pizza I tell you. They have a small parking lot though. They are totally accessible by public transportation. Their deep dish is fabulous people. The staff is helpful, polite, patient, willing to answer questions about the menu and make good suggestions according to your tastes. They have a large selection of beers and brews. OH BOY!! I tried a suggested selection and was not disappointed. The bathroom was small and tight but clean.

This place defines college. Really good Pizza at a good price. Cheap beer, and great happy hour specials. My favorite time to come is on Thursdays for the 3 topping small Pizza special, $6. The buffet is also worth trying when your are in the mood to stuff your face!

Great place to watch sports and gorge yourself on pizza! While Double Dave's isn't going to win any awards for its pizza, it certainly offers a quality buffet. Simple pizza can still be good pizza. And those pizza rolls are insanely good. I always eat too many (I regret nothing!). Plus dessert pizza, the most American pizza ever. There are daily pizza and beer specials. You can pretty much watch any sporting event here too. And if you're a Longhorn fan, there's tons of memorabilia lining the walls.

This is my go to place to watch the game. Great UT atmosphere. Plenty of TVs and outdoor seating. The pizza rolls and lemon pepper wings are excellent. The pizza is great, but not outstanding. Large beer variety. Place is never too crowded so the food comes relatively fast.

I thought the pizza was mediocre at best. The sauce lacks depth of flavor and the crust is dry and flavorless. Overall, the pizza and rolls are just bland. I was also disappointed by the ranch dressing. I was expecting the really tangy, kinda thin, restaurant ranch, but it tasted like pre-made bottled ranch.
