The Vault

I love it when a restaurant goes all in on the design and has amazing food too. I love all the little details that help make up the bank theme. Make note of the slip of paper that wraps up your napkin and silverware. And the menus are file folders removed from a cabinet. There are clocks for times for different world cities, and on the day we visited, both the bartender, and the waiter looked like they fit right in with the theme. Bartender has a nice handlebar mustache, and (branded) old-timey golf cap, and our waiter was wearing a nice crisp white shirt with suspenders. I love a restaurant that goes the extra mile. Even the water is served from a nice cut glass decanter Now the food, was amazing. Did you know they have a pickled tongue sandwich on their menu? It's really good. So is the chicken piccata! They make their own bread daily too. and it's very tasty. We opted out of dessert that night, because we both wanted affogato, but it was late, and that has caffeine. So we just had another glass of wine instead. On our second visit we tried the pork belly carbonara and another chicken picatta. We love this place

First I want to thank our waitress Esmeralda for recommending the coconut shrimp. They were delicious. She was very polite. The food here is very delicious. We had appetizer meal and the drinks were very good. The food was cooked to order. It did not take that long to come out and it was just good. I’m glad we have a good restaurant on our side of town. I was the owners must success and we will be coming back.

We went to The Vault for the first time to celebrate our first anniversary. We were not disappointed. The food and the service were great! They also have live music on the weekends. It was loud enough to enjoy, but quiet enough so you could still carry on a conversation. We can't wait to go back to try several other menu items.

To start, the atmosphere is quite pleasant. There is chatter in the air from the other guests. But, not imposingly so. The strong theme of the bank that used to be in this building is very present with a vintage twist. You feel as though you are circa 1940 to 1950. Looking around, you may find the names of several notorious criminals or otherwise lawless individuals on the backs of chairs, the walls, even in the restrooms wallpapering. The attention to detail for the theme that they were trying to achieve for this restaurant is very thoughtful, and intense. The vinyl decals (famous criminal names) on the chairs is a little lackluster, as many of them are beginning to peel off. Rather than removing them however, I would recommend the management to somehow find a way to make them more permanent with a laminate or a stronger vinyl. Our menus were presented as case files with the names of notorious gang member, outlaw or otherwise lawless individual on the protruding tab. Examples would be, Billy the kid, machine gun Kelly, and Bonnie and Clyde. Again, the attention to detail did not go past my notice . It was a busy night. That being said, our server returned to the table several times, and never once offered to refill our waters. We literally waited for our ice to melt to drink it. It had the opportunity to do so in between visits from our server. She, was sweet and very apologetic for her absence however. The manager, although seemingly very strict, seemed very engaged in helping his servers and still making time to say hi to guests that he recognized. Although, I will note that he did not visit our table. His presence was a relaxed, If not attentive to his employees, nature. The bathrooms were very clean and sterile. Nothing extraordinary about them. Not, a huge accommodation for the capacity of guests however. For the upscale attempt at presentation, there were very few amenities for refreshing oneself . The food despite the prices being moderately pricey, was a solid 6.5 or gracious 7 out of 10. I had the New York steak with risotto. I elected a soup over a salad. However, either choice would not have mattered as it never came. When I tried to have it removed from my ticket, the waitress nervously explained that it was part of my dinner. She offered to give me the soup to go. I asked if they could just discount the price of the soup from my ticket. She said that she would have to ask the management. We sat for another 15 minutes for that. In conclusion, I must fairly note that this is a very new restaurant only opening recently. There is lots of room to grow, and I attribute many of my noted discomforts to the confusion of growing pains. Our waitress apologized profusely when bringing us our ticket. For that, and that only, I left a modest tip. I look forward to trying this restaurant again in the future for a better experience.

I was initially hesitant to try this place after reading some mixed reviews, but I’m so glad I gave it a chance. From the moment we walked in, the elegant atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful evening. We came to celebrate a birthday, and our server, Emma, went above and beyond to make the night special. She was attentive, friendly, and engaging. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality—from the ambiance to the service and the meal itself. I’ll definitely be coming back, especially to check out their happy hour. Highly recommend giving this spot a try!

The food was delicious. The waitress was a little green but did well for being on her own.

I came in a few weeks ago and was having a hard day. Ordered a drink from Samantha with the red hair. The drink was amazing and she let me vent about my crap day. She went about doing her job but kept checking in on me and making sure if I needed anything. Will be returning

The food was delicious, everything was great. The appetizers, main dishes, desserts and drinks. I look forward to bringing family when they’re in town, and being regulars here. Chose this place for my guys birthday dinner, as I've heard great things about it! I'll start off by saying I think the ambiance can be improved a little, I'm not sure if it's trying to be a nice restaurant or a pizza parlor. Tables need higher backs for more privacy, etc. Just my opinion. The food and service were good. I ordered the pork belly carbonara, and he ordered a calzone. Both were delicious, just needed a bit more salt or garlic. I will say I was a little sad about the tiramisu. I didn't expect it to come doused in chocolate syrup and whip cream.. I prefer it more traditional with just the cocoa powder. We both agreed the drinks were great, and would come back to try more menu items.

Visited Saturday with husband on our date night. The restaurant decor is reminiscent of a bank with a speakeasy feel. We were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered our drinks (husband: old fashion myself: glass of red wine). Husband loved his old fashion and the V ice was a fun detail of his drink. We were served complimentary bread which was delicious! For the appetizer we ordered the Beef Wellington bites. The beef Wellington bites was served in a plate of brown gravy with mushrooms and topped with horseradish. The beef was incredibly soft and flavorful. 10/10 would highly recommend. My husband ordered the prime rib special and he gave me a piece to try. Extremely soft and flavorful! I ordered the Truffle Sacchetti and the pasta reminded me of little money bags! Extremely delicious with a brown butter, rosemary, and truffle sauce. We ordered the tiramisu to go and it was one of the best tiramisu in town! Thank you for the amazing evening!

It was empty on a Wednesday. Just FYI...they charge extra for using a credit card. I think there was a $2 different vs using cash. This resturant is owned by the same people who own the Woodstone pizza on California. Bread was good..first round was crispy. Still good. 2nd round was perfect and fluffy with enough of toastiness. I got the chicken piccata, which was recommended. The angel hair was not long. It was cut short. Tons of pasta. Sauce was good. 2 chicken breast on top. Save the other for leftovers tomorrow. My husband had the canzone. Pepperoni and sausage. He loved it. How do you have butterfinger pie on your menu and not have it. Then proceed to tell us that you can find anyone to make the amount that you need. Opted for the lemon raspberry cheesecake. It has lemon cake in it so if you were looking for cheesecake, I didn't really get the cheesecake flavor. The crust...hated like the crust. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and it was not made special. Disappointed. So...maybe don't go there to celebrate anything. We were told they only have 2 servers and 2 bartenders. I could just imagine the struggle on service if they were super busy. So BEWARE! Side note....My friend also told me they struggle on a busy day. They had horrible service but liked the food. Someone said they had a good happy hour, so maybe I would try that. Other than that...food is decent. Service is eh.

One of the restaurants that popped up when we searched for best places to eat in here in Bakersfield. Thanks to ChatGPT, we ended up going to The Vault for some Sunday afternoon happy hour. It was our first time here and right away, our eyes went around every corner of the room and it was such a cool concept. Service was fast and friendly. We had margaritas and truffle fries. The margaritas were perfectly mixed and the fries were cooked and flavored well to our liking. The price can't be beat! Already thinking of going back with some friends for another round of happy hour drinks!

Came in the other night for dinner was able to make reservations online. I didn't have to call once upon our arrival we were greeted by a young man. The place was very clean. It wasn't overcrowded had the decorations of fall, which was very welcoming. They do have a bar area to the right. They do have an oven fire oven right and they do have the to the bank a little to the right in front of you but the place is very clean, we were seated within five minutes our menus were brought to the table. He didn't know the menu what he recommended not recommend since it was our first time and food, allergies, and stuff like that but other than that, we Had some good food. attached below our pictures of what we had in the view and scenery of what we seen but it is delicious. I do highly recommend large portions, good quality and great staff. I will definitely will be back to try other food items.

The Vault, we were very excited to try this place! There are some pros & cons. Cons: We had reservations at 5:30 for 6 people. They had overbooked and didn't have our table ready. They did offer us a high top but I'm very short and do not care for them. The hostess said it would be about 5 min but we waited almost 30. I ordered a personal sized vegetarian pizza. It is not on the menu, but you can build your own. I was charged $18 for the pizza & $4 per topping for 6 vegetable toppings. My personal veggie pizza was $42, almost as much as a steak dinner. It also was mediocre at best for my liking. My husband ordered an Italian Beef sandwich & specifically asked if there was any sauce or mayo on it bc the menu did not have it listed as an ingredient, so wanted to double to check to make sure. When it arrived it had a mayo aioli sauce on it. No one likes sending food back so that was disappointing. The waiter was great about it. Pros: Staff is very friendly! Our waiter was very funny, and was good about refills and split our check which was so nice. He brought me a separate glass of ice for my iced tea, he was golden! The building is pretty and we loved the way it was designed and decorated. We love this beautiful spot that's part of revamping Ming Ave & locally owned. As far as food reviews I think it is so personal bc everyone's tastes are different. I think there's some hits & misses. For the price of my pizza it did not fulfill the "one bite challenge" Will we be back? probably not.

This place is so cool to look at. It's beautifully decorated and keeps to the whole old bank theme. I just was not impressed with the food. First of all the staff are pretty nice. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, telling me what her favorite appetizers were. I decided to give the brussel sprouts a go since she said it was a good choice. I didn't like them very much. They had a good flavor but there wasn't enough of the sauce and they weren't cut up small enough or cooked through enough for me. My Caesar salad was amazing! It was fresh, crisp and tangy! My oldest got the clam chowder and absolutely loved it. She gave it a 10/10 and said if we go back she just wants a bowl of it although she didn't not like the piece of toast that came with it. She said it was WAY TOO HARD. For our entrees, I got the Cabernet charred rib eye with the roasted garlic potato puree. The plate was swimming in the sauce and that wasn't a good thing since I did not care for the sauce at all. Also, the steak wasn't steaking! Rib eye is supposed to melt in your mouth and this one just fell flat. It was kind of rough and really needed salt..which by the way was not on the table, I had to ask for it. Next, the hubs got the chicken piccata and said it was pure perfection! My youngest got the cheeseburger but was way more impressed by the French fries than anything. Again, the ambiance is really cool here but to me, unfortunately the food wasn't the best. IF we go back, I'm definitely getting that chicken piccata!

We had a dinner at the vault. First, let me start with ambiance. It was different but the wall colors and ceilings were on the vintage side which it didn't look live for me. The drinks were good. I got the filet mignon with the gnocchi. The steak was cooked perfectly but I didn't appreciate the generous amount of butter and pesto sauce. The gnocchi was a miss for me. Our server was attentive and nice.

Visually, the restaurant is appealing. It has a very nice theme going on and the dining room is separated from a bar area and each had their own nice ambiance. The service was great, the staff have been friendly and helpful. I ordered chicken piccata which came with a side of entire soup or salad. I chose soup and got clam chowder. The chowder was nice and creamy but came disappointingly lukewarm. Chicken piccata is one of my favorite dishes and I came to this restaurant looking forward to it. I am leaving a bit disappointed. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly and was sauced nicely; however, the pasta came a bit bland and ended up being a bit of a mushy sponge that took away flavor from the chicken. I wanted to give this restaurant a 3 star but I think I may have just chosen the wrong dish from the menu.

Took my brother out for his bdy and I completely forgot to ask about the Military discount ‍‍. We were seated pretty fast for lunch/dinner after my tattoo removal. Very spacious and appealing to the eye. I was confused as to why our server didn't leave the water at our table to begin with like other tables had water at theirs, instead I had to wait for her to come around and ask for more water. Another thing that was confusing is our soup came after our meal so idk if she was distracted or that is the way they serve there meals. I find it super annoying that many places are implementing the cash vs card charge, meaning paying cash will save you a couple bucks and paying card money is added to your total, super fkn annoying. The brussel sprouts HONESTLY remind me of Panda Express veggies nothing special but really dry 5 out of 10. Mini wellington I thought meat was suppose to be pink but it was fully cooked. It was good nothing to brag about 6 out of 10. Flat bread meat lovers the cheese could be better the sausage wasn't what I'm used to but the ham it has it pretty good. Overall the pizza was a 4 out of 10. I had the Chicken Piccata and I wasn't impressed. I believe the take home microwave from walmart is better than this. Too cheese, basic alfredo sauce, and I think they should use a different pasta, angel hair way too thin 4 out of 10. My brother had the ribeye and he said all the sauce killed the flavor of the steak, a drizzle is all it needs and if they want they can serve the sauce on the side. The mashed potatoes are so amazing 10 out of 10 but the steak was a 6 out of 10. Surprisingly the clam chowder was really good 10 out of 10. Dessert both were delicious just depends how sweet you like your cake lol. Lemon raspberry 10 out of 10 and on the sweet side. Ricotta cherry cheesecake 10 out of 10 a little less sweet but a 10 out of 10 either way. The water was finally left on the table once the bill was payed like... I'm leaving already what's the point now‍‍. I would go again and try something else.

I haven't heard much about the vault, which is surprising after trying it. I feel like the Italian restaurants in Bakersfield have really gone downhill, so The Vault was a refreshing change. My mom always says you know if the food is going to be good off the bread you receive, and their bread is great! It's fresh made in house. The menu has lots of different options. They have come up with cute names for everything so it stays on theme. My dad always judges an Italian restaurant off their lasagna, so that's what he ordered. I got a classic from growing up, the white collar pasta. My pasta was delicious. There must have been an entire bulb of garlic in it. The steak was slightly overcooked. My dad said the lasagna was good, but not the best he ever had. My dad got two glasses of wine and they were decent pours. The service and environment were good. I really just wish The Vault was in a better/more convenient location, but I'll be back.

Mixed experience. Seated right away, but it took a while to get drinks--and oddly, our appetizer showed up before the water. Happy hour menu was on the table, but only valid at the bar (why even put it there?). Ribeye was fatty, pork chops slightly overcooked, but the fried artichokes were a win. We came in excited, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. The vibe in restaurant is actually super cool, right down to the chandeliers.

Had n awesome time and for being a bartender myself I know a good one when I see one. Thanks to Samantha for taking great care of us!

Outstanding service by our waiter, Josiah. He anticipated our every need. Was knowledgeable and helpful on specials and restaurant offerings, drinks and food arrived timely. Friendly, patient, attentive. Cleared our plates as needed without our urging. His service was a highlight of our visit. Spacious location, booths, high-top tables, and bar front seating. Gorgeous decor, representing a Bonnie & Clyde theme, done tastefully. Clean restrooms. Food was wonderful. Fresh, flavorful, with just the right number of options. Brussel sprout appetizer was a flavor bomb, sprouts were cooked perfectly. 10/10. Spicy Rigatoni was great, pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Chicken salad was light, refreshing, and filling. Chicken was moist and delicious. House table bread with fresh butter was the perfect addition to my salad dinner.

After a stressful week of midterms and work, we needed a place to unwind--and The Vault did not disappoint! Funny enough, they took over my old bank, so it felt like the perfect place to make a deposit... of good food and drinks! Emma is the absolute GOAT! She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and gave spot-on recommendations. Her energy made our experience even better. The food? Phenomenal. We had the shrimp fettuccine and ribeye, and both were absolutely delicious. And the drinks? Perfection. After just two each, we were feeling good and fully relaxed. Overall, an amazing night with great service, food, and drinks. We'll definitely be back!

There is a lot of potential here but it was several little things that kept it from getting 5 stars.... We enjoyed the ambiance and the theme of the restaurant but did feel the acoustics were a bit off. A couple of tables away we could vividly hear a family's political discussions and the other way around kid had his iPad blaring while the parents did nothing. The cocktail menu is fun and varied but if you are going to call it a 007 martini it either needs to be a Vesper or a Vodka martini and it was neither plus it was poorly strained and had tons of ice chips. The food was good but once again the little things. Loved the sauce on the Wellington bites but the meat was overcooked inside. The sourdough crust on the flatbread was perfect (chewy and flavorful) but the toppings were undercooked, the mozzarella came off on first bite. It was odd that when we were served bread we got 3 pieces (there were two of us) why not go 2 or 4 so we do not have to fight over a second piece? Personal pet peeve on this one but please factor in credit card fees into the menu and not 'punish' it on the bill or instead offer it as a cash discount.

The food was great. We had made a reservation on Yelp and also called the Vault for Thanksgiving day-oops they forgot to block out the day and cancelled all reservations one week before Thanksgiving. I decided to give them another chance so we went today for lunch. We sat in the bar and we were the only customers in the bar-ordered lunch and a bottle of Prosecco-the waitress/bartender brought it to our table with wine glasses and asked if we wanted her to pour it-we said well yes and could you open it-she rolled her eyes and popped the cork but didn't pour it. I asked for champagne glasses and she was very exasperated and we got new glasses. Salads came and she asked if we wanted pepper-yes-and she handed me a shaker-I could see the cracked pepper mill 10ft away. Food was great and service was ridiculous. Might try it again but won't recommend till I actually have a good experience

I haven meant to try this place since they opened. Glad I did. This place is fun and pretty. The bar, the ceiling, lot of interesting details. The waiter was well dressed, polished, and very professional. And the food! I had the pork belly carbonara, creamy, salty, delicious. My friends loved their gnocchi, chicken sandwich, and salad. We all agreed we need to come back an try more dishes!

Sub-par to say the least. Server was the best part. The kitchen messed/mixed up orders. Steak was grizzly and quality of a low end diner. How do you ruin a baked potato? This wasn't an inexpensive meal and to top it off they added a credit card fee - who carries hundreds of dollars for a meal? We went to celebrate a graduation - so disappointed.

I had the most amazing experience Dining in your establishment. Samantha helped me and my husband. She's absolutely one of the nicest people on earth. We will be coming back thank you so much Samantha for making our dinner. Amazing. 10 stars Job well done. The OTooles

Oh my gosh what a fun place to eat! The entire restaurant is modeled after an old time bank/ prohibition era. There was lots of seatingbin the bar area and a large dinning room where we sat along with a semi private dinning space. When the weather is nice and not 108 outside they have a fabulous patio area with misters and fans. It was our first time in Bakersfield and we stopped in for a late lunch. We started with the Brussel Sprouts and the Beef Wellington for appetizers...yum! I had the Italian Beef Dip Panini it was full of tender sliced prime sirloin cooked perfectly with pickled veggies and peppers...Did I mention the delicious fries? My husband and daughter had pizza one build your own and the other was the Massoni with very flavorful pork belly. Conner was our server ans he was awesome with recommendations and very attentive. Our food came out hot and the portions were huge. I gave 4 stars only because our Ceasar Salads were soggy but still tasty.

This is our current favorite restaurant. Everyone is really friendly and everything we've tried has been really good. The inside is bank themed and has a cool ambiance The hot honey coconut shrimp is delicious! And so is the Treasurer's Truffle sacchetti pasta. My favorite drink is the lemon drop. They're delicious and strong. I've tried 5 different dishes and nothing has been bad.

That one time I was transported back to the days of Al Capone and Charles Luciano. The Vault reminds me of one of those restaurants people would go to for a "business meeting". It's classy. The food is *chef's kiss*. The service is working out it's kinks (because they literally just opened, cut them some slack) but you can tell as soon as they hit their stride, this place will be a number one spot here in Bakersfield. Our waitress was Jolina and she was such a gem. Our bartender was Laura who took care of us like we were family. If we come here a couple more times, they'll know us by name and then I'll *really* feel like a proper gangster.

The first 3 times we tried The Vault, it was so very good. This last visit did not live up to the other visits. Everyone has off days for service, but even the quality of the food seemed below standard. I will go hack again. I'm hoping this last visit was just an off day . The bread is fantastic!

All I can say. The fault restaurant is very unique The decor is on point it's a converted bank which is unique also the food is on point I had the pork chops very tender very nice portion very tasteful My partner had the chicken she said it was really good and tender The waitress she got us everything that we needed. And we went on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy but every time we went past her the parking lot was always full so I guess we went in a good time because it was starting to get busy around 5:30 definitely would go back they had a guy over in the corner playing the piano very quiet atmosphere had a full bar kind of gives you that gangster vibe

My first dining experience with The Vault was fabulous but my second visit was lacking. The service was friendly and polite, but unfortunately the ball was dropped. Now I understand the reviews about inconsistency. Obviously the same Chef and kitchen staff we had on our first visit were not working tonight. We arrived at 5:30 and were seated and addressed immediately. For the most part our service was good the staff was friendly, polite and did a good job. We had various staff to bus our table and deliver the meals. I do prefer team wait staff, it usually ups the service. I ordered the Seared Silver Dollar Scallops, they were delicious and well prepared on a bed fettuccine in a sun-dried tomato sauce. My Sis ordered the French Onion Soup, it was just Okay. She also had the Treasurer's Truffle Sacchetti, which are little pasta purses filled with black truffle shavings & truffle oil, ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, and romano cheeses. Tossed in a rich browned butter sauce. It was the Star of our entire meal! But here is where our experience went sideways. Our other two guests ordered the brown sugar pork chops. I raved about these in my last review because they were amazing. Unfortunately this time the pork chops were about half the thickness of the first visit. They were cooked so dry the were tough. There was no brown sugar sauce. When we finally got someone to address it they brought some to the table but it was watery and lacked the flavor & richness of our first visit. The mashed potatoes on the first visit were thick, garlicky with the peel incorporated. This visit there was very little garlic flavor, the texture was much thinner and the peel was missing. By the time we were able to get the attention of staff my to do explain the problem my Sis & I we're finished with our meal. So having the pork chops reprepared was out of the question. Part of the problem was that we were not offered the option of receiving properly prepared meals. The server looked at the dishes and said "Oh they are dry, and no that not the right sauce ". No offer to make the meals right, no offers of compensation. Our party was just done with the experience so we left. It was just a disappointment from my first visit. Will I go back. Yes,at some time, in hopes that the food will be better. Sadly I will no longer recommend the pork chops to anyone.

Overall, this place was great-a real hidden gem. The ambiance was wonderful with fun, unique decor since it's a converted bank (hence the name). The prices were good and the food was delicious. My only complaint was that the service was slow and we didn't get basic things like refills and bread. We had to ask several times and the sever seemed really lost the whole time. He was nice however but I ended up having to get up to ask for help. That's when the service turned around and the rest of the meal was great. The food was good enough I would come back and hope the service improves in the meantime.

We had an amazing time as we had lunch at the Vault! The entryway was very clean, I believe the Manager seated us, which was very nice of him to do that. We had the Caprese Chicken Sandwich as well as the Citrus Rosemary Chicken. Both plates were made perfectly and tasted great. Drinks were amazing and our server (Camryn) was great. She was super attentive and amazing at her job! We will definitely be back for a 2nd round. If you haven't visited this place, try it out, pretty sure you won't be disappointed! Cheers!

The food was amazing I loved the food amazing service and everything was just perfect I liked the theme

Our drinks and appetizers was good. ESMERALDA and Josiah provided great service. However our dinner was awful. It came out cold and they tried to fix it by taking both mine and my husband's back to redo but still came out like warm. We didn't complain second time around we were just over the experience. Making it right with free dessert wasn't sufficient enough. Ambiance was nice. The place is really nice but I wouldn't go back to eat an entree there.

My husband and I were so impressed by the service, quality, and ambiance. Josiah was our waiter and he was 100% on it. I never had to ask for a refill and he recommended some great menu items. The mini Wellington bites were a delicious app to start with and the house made sourdough bread was amazing. The food was fantastic. 10/10 we'll definitely be going back soon.

Came into the vault for our first time for our 11th year anniversary. Matthew is amazing. He gave suggestions and wasn't just a robot. He made us feel like we were the only people in the bar he gave my wife suggestions on what to drink, what to eat, and told me about a beer that I hadn't had since I was 21-which was 20 years ago. He made our experience at the vault something special and this anniversary will be remembered forever. Thanks, Matt. You are awesome and deserve to be praised!

Super sweet staff, service was fast and ambiance was definitely themed lol bank themed with old school crime mob scheme. Themed menus and dishes and drinks. The food was good, we got a couple shared dishes that were good: Cheese dish was delicious Tiny beef wellingtons were delicious Coconut shrimp not my favorite dish but im not coconut fan in general. I got the caprese with garlic mushrooms was delicious The chicken piccata was okay The pork chops were delicious! Winner winner chicken dinner. I will definitely try this place again server's were wonderful.

Our server was outstanding, Esmerelda! This was our first time here. Everything was outstanding! The ONLY issue I had was my pasta was bland and needed something more, scallops were tasty but the sauce and pasta were a bit flavorless. Salads and bread were amazing! My husband had the Italian dip sandwich. My girls had a Caesar salad and white collar pasta. Service was outstanding, our drinks were never empty.

I have had both the pizzas at Woodstone and the Vault and I know that they're the same company basically ,however the flat bread pizza,even though it is the same cheese and ingredients, It is hand rolled, so it gives a different flavor and texture to it. I for one love how a company can have a similar restaurant and have the same ingredients and still be able to make the product taste similar, but it's own experience. The vault/Woodstone keep surprising me.

This was my first time going to this new restaurant. Everything was going great in the beginning got seated quickly the costumer service was great the ambiance of the place is very nice after I got seated my wife and I ordered our drinks my wife's drink was made incorrectly had to send it back to get remade we ordered our appetizer it was pretty good we had to ask for the fresh bread and butter it wasn't brought out in the beginning. We moved onto our main course order we ordered soup and salad it was never brought out to us it came out a little bit after our food was brought back. For dessert we ordered lava s'mores cake it came out very hard and dry very disappointing I hope the next time we go to this restaurant they can redeem themselves. They have several items on their menu that sound really good it also has a very good atmosphere and it's a very neat looking dining room.

Our party of 4 met during happy hour, my husband, his son and daughter and myself. My husband and I had not been to The Vault before, however his daughter had and wanted us to give this upscale bar and restaurant a try. The restaurant is beautiful and the theme is unmistakable and well executed. We sat in the bar area and ordered from the happy hour menu, the tri tip brochette and the pasta bowl (Mac and cheese). The Mac and cheese portion was huge! It could easily feed 4 adults and had lots of smoky bacon and shaved Parmesan cheese, delicious! The tri tip brochette was served as a cold open faced style sandwich and was very tasty, but the tri tip (which can be a bit tough) could have been sliced thinner. My husband and I order off the regular menu, the pastrami sandwich with onion rings instead of fries. We shared the sandwich and neither of us were disappointed, we requested no Swiss cheese and no peppers as we are pastrami purists. The pastrami was perfectly thinly sliced and had the perfect pairing of pickles and brown mustard. We normally have pastrami served on a rye bread, however the Vault serves there version panini style. Our daughter got the chicken piccata and the portion was again very generous, she took home about half. She had had it before and was equally delighted. About the service, we were in the bar and it was initially very busy. We were greeted right away and my husband's and my drink orders taken, but even after the rest of our party arrived it took quite a while before the bar staff came back to check in with us. I made sure to give him our full order, I didn't know when we'd see him again. Our food came out, and strangely with the food came more attentiveness. So my feelings are mixed. The food is very good, I would say the value for money is very good. This restaurant wants to be upscale, so the service needs some polish. There are already lots of photos posted, can't do better that what's already here.

The food was pretty good I thought . The service was a bit slow but they were friendly. The inside was unique. It had an old fashioned look. The appetizer beef Wellington was good.

12-2-25 @1300. I just left The Vault and had to write a review right away. It was my 1st time here. I loved the bank theme, very nice with its Christmas decorations. Our host was also the waiter Tony. Wow, he's exceptional from his service to his food recommendations. He was super nice and attentive. We had the lunch special soup and sandwich. To me the clam chowder tasted as close to Splash Cafe at Pismo beach and the pastrami sandwich was on point, their was enough protein and the ratio was perfect. I would highly recommend and will be coming back.

The service was wonderful, but the food was just OK. As an appetizer we ordered the beef Wellington bites and the beef inside was so tough we could hardly eat it. The Tuscan tomato soup had pasta in it that was pure mush, and the dessert which was supposed to be a Lava cake was terrible! Our main course was fine. I got the chicken piccata and it was very good and my husband got pork chops, which were also very good. I feel they could turn the lighting down. It's pretty bright inside, I was expecting more of a dinner house feel but got more of a sport bar vibe.

Despite FB indicating there are vegan choices available - there are not. The ONE vegan entree is spaghetti with tomato sauce. It was bland. However, the tomato basil soup was good. The potatoes with the entrees of my companion's were served cold. The pasta served with my companion's shrimp was also bland. The waitstaff was busy yet attentive. The most unfortunate part was the table side manner of the owner. He appeared irritated and his demeanor was unprofessional. The decor was nice and the seating was comfortable. AND there is a surcharge for using card, which was discovered when reading the receipt.

From the immediate greeting, We entered Beautiful old world charm. The service was spot on (thank you Tony )the recommendations were helpful,the Woodstone , & the pastrami were gastrointestinal wounderlad ! Went in for dinner last night since we hadn't been there. It's a nice place, very clean and we were greeted upon arrival. We were seated promptly and given menus. It's a nice atmosphere. The booth we were seated at was comfy and they brought water to the table in an elegant decanter. They took our drink order and we reviewed the menu. There are a good selection of items from pizza to sandwiches and pastas, and other things. The place is great and service very good. Prices vary depending on food choice but it's decent. I ordered pesto pasta and a dinner salad with italian, my husband ordered lasagna and a dinner salad with ranch dressing. We enjoyed the dinner salad and the items we ordered. So if you've never been it would be a nice place to try, Im sure you'll enjoy it

First time at the vault! A little wait to be seated but ok! The server Mikayla was very good, was very fast at taking the order and providing the drinks, super friendly and very pleasant. We order the Masson flatbread, BLTA Salad , and pork belly carbonara. OMG delicious! All items were great, definitely good to return. It's a must try place. Drinks are incredible!! Thank you to Mikayla and the kitchen. Will be back for sure!

I justbwanted to say the vault is a great place! Cool vibes and cool people especially Samantha she brings the vibe and great personality. Very great with her guest! Makes us feel like we are family! Thats what we want as custermers to feel at home! love her!

OH MY GOODNESS the bartender, Samantha, made THE BEST margarita I've ever drank! So, of course, we ordered MORE! I don't remember what tip we gave her but I hope it was worthy of her skills!!!

The ambiance in The Vault is quirky and fun. From the gangster files (menus) to the A.T.M. (A terrific martini) the Vault delivers a bang for your buck. TBH I loved the waiter staff in their suspenders and bow ties, they were all welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. To start we ordered a Combination Cosmopolitan. It came in a dainty coupe with an expertly twisted orange peel. The cocktail was well made and throughly enjoyed. Arriving shortly after the drinks were the Beef Wellington Bites. They were delicious despite the lack of duxelles. A perfect appetizer. Next up was the Black & Blue Steak salad; a 6oz grilled Vault steak atop a bed of spring mix, accompanied by a beautifully sliced avocado, tomatoes, red onions, and blue cheese. A nice salad the steak was served a little over done, we did order medium rare. It was nice, I would order it again. Not over dressed like so many salads are; I really appreciated the effort in balancing the ingredients. Now onto the main, well another shareable! But I am getting stuffed! Penny's Pear-fection Flatbread is on its way to the table and my mouth is watering thinking about it. I better order some Overdraft Protection (sparkling wine & pear brandy) to help me wash this one down! I think they'll make the perfect pair! Well I will be ordering a desert although I haven't made up my mind which one. I think I'm leaning toward the tiramisu but my partner is hinting at the butterfinger pie. We shall see. I would recommend giving these guys a try. The Wednesday Night Dinner Club will definitely be returning to The Vault!

Samantha Riley was very friendly, fast and one of the best servers I have ever had. She definately made our experience at the Vault a great one.
