My husband bought me a coupon for a massage here. It was the most expensive they offer.
I could not use it because of my work hours.
They close before I am off work.
Obviously my schedule isn't the fault of the spa.
The problem is that my husband went in and requested a refund. They refused to give him a refund, and they were quite nasty about it, according to him. He tried to appeal to their sense of decency and logic, but they adamantly refused.
He was so flustered at that encounter that he left the coupon sitting there in their shop, so now there is not even a coupon to use in the future, in the event that I have a day off.
At this point I wouldn't feel comfortable going in there anyway, and I really do not understand why he could not get a refund for something that he paid for, that was never used.
We have proof on the credit card that he paid for it, but I don't think that will do any good, given the attitude of this unyielding and unreasonable establishment.
Not sure why it's so hard to be decent and understanding.
He was not made aware of any type of refund policy at the time of purchase.
It's really too bad for them, because we have lived in the area for 15 years, and love supporting small and independently run businesses.
This is a place I would never recommend and never visit. They kept our money without rendering any goods or services.
Avoid.
