On the Grid : Timewarp Music

"The walls of this music warehouse are beautifully adorned with all types of guitars, making it worth stopping by for that alone. If you're trying to get your jam on, Timewarp also houses a fully equipped recording studio. A huge plus are the Star Wars collectibles hidden throughout. Don't forget to stop in across the street at Timewarp Records for all your crate digging needs." - Italic Studio

The venice fest is a fantastic event! Brings the community together and showcases all of us local artists and businesses! I have participated in this event since the very first one and it is one of the best events for vendors. Organization is spotless, the marketing is great and the people that run it are the best and actually care about every single one of the vendors! The event itself is so much fun filled with things to do concerts, games, beer garden, so much shopping and meeting new people. My only complain is i want more of them! 😅

Excellent summer fest. A must visit. Happens once a year. Lot of vendors and great food choice. Dance, music, yoga and food. Something for every age group.

This is a festival that truly embodies the community around it. Full of amazing activities, positive energy, smiling neighbors, and unique vendors. The Venice Fest is not one to miss

The Venice Fest is not to be missed!!! This is literally one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE community events in all of LA! It is sprawling with vibrant energy! Amazing vendors, with such a variety of unique inventory, making it impossible to not find an amazing gift for someone special, or, of course, yourself! The music is so much fun!! Great performers, and the community really knows how to get down on the dance floor! Also, an eclectic blend of food trucks, when your body needs an energy boost after all that dancing ;) and the people… all ages, all types, all vibing out together, at no doubt, one of the best events of the year! Get out there, and support an awesome neighborhood!

The organizer has no sense of community...there are hundreds of cars cruising the residential neighborhood looking for parking and blocking all of the street parking that residents use. They should have found off area parking and provided a shuttle service...

I've been to the last few events and I must say this was the best one yet! Great music, everyone was in good spirits, and great food. Definitely will be back with my family in the next one!

Google
Love that it brings the community together and raises the spirit. Struggled with the loud corner preaching that was relentless. Dominated and annoyed. Not everyone is Christian.

Yelp
*Venice Fest was a Success* Venice Fest in Mar Vista on a gloomy Saturday brightened our day & night... The streets of Venice Blvd were blocked off on both sides from Inglewood Ave to Centinela... Live music & bands on every street corner... Street vendors everywhere selling every type of merchandise you can imagine... Lots of beverage & food trucks & stands -- some even offering free samples... Droves of people walking & dancing throughout the streets... We're here and having fun... Too bad it ended at 7pm.

Yelp
Neat event with a lot of vendors ranging from pottery to candles and food trucks. Parking is a bit tough, but got lucky and was able to park in a residential area nearby. Also a ton of vendors offered free drinks, such as Aha, coke, smartwater.
