Where to eat and drink at the Venetian and Palazzo - Eater Vegas

"Need a mid-afternoon snack? Cañonita at the Grand Canal Shoppes has its own street taqueria food truck façade, a nod to the cuisine of Mexico City. The walk-up stand serves street foods and house-infused margaritas." - Susan Stapleton

Ambiance is 10/10 and even the service was 10/10. Rancheros was soggy and lacked flavor. Madame chipotle left a weird film in my mouth. The guava sweet bread was okay. I’d come back for a coffee while reading a book but I wouldn’t order any food again.

The place has a very cute green garden on the street, the waiter was really friendly too but food was not really good. Burrito was dry, cibele was not really tasty and turkey breast was missing, potatoes were not fresh, the juice even didnt have much taste.

This is a beautiful place to spend a weekend morning with friends and loved ones, surrounded by greenery. I’d give the environment a 10/10. However, the food is quite disappointing. The bread and coffee is absolutely amazing, but the chilaquiles barely had any salsa, and the tortilla chips were still very dry. We had to ask for more salsa, and even then, the taste was quite underwhelming.

The food here was amazing and the drinks were even better. The açaí and berry smoothie was out of this world. We also enjoyed a delicious flat white and a latte. The servers were kind, quick, and attentive. The atmosphere is beautiful. You basically forget that you’re in one of the largest cities in the world. I highly recommend eating here if you’re in the area!

Google
Restaurant has nice potential . But at this point have issues . 1) we had birthday party group of 6 , didn’t let us sit where we would like ,create big deal by moving 2 tables 2) waitresses always show up different I lost track who is our so we can order 3)food wasn’t that good , some dishes was spicy (in menu wasn’t notes about that) our kids can’t eat that spicy , appetisers been decent .

Located around the water fountain in the circle of traffic. Surprisingly, it was very quiet, even with being so close to the road. They have a lovely outdoor seating area in the shade, but also allows for natural sunlight. The staff are very respectful and allow you the space to enjoy yourself. If you need help with the menu they are very helpful. We had breakfast here and ordered the French toast and Mexican eggs. It was not bad at all. The fresh juices were also very delicious. We had the pineapple and green juice. All amazing and the best part is the affordable price point. You can’t go wrong here. It’s very relaxing atmosphere, definitely if you’re looking to have a break. This is the place for you.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our brunch here! We came on a Sunday around 11:30 and had to wait about 10 minutes. The outdoor patio area is so relaxing and our coffee and food were delicious. I had an Americano to drink and the cibiles to eat. We also tried the chilaquiles verde, which was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. They had two different musician street performers set up and play short sets, which was kind of cool. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly as well. Definitely a nice place for breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
This little green cove is a fantastic spot to start your day with some breakfast classics with a Spanish/euro twist. The service is excellent very attentive and meets all your requirements for a great day. The atmosphere is relaxed and refreshing along with fresh ingredients that will make you feel satisfied and energized.

Yelp
We came here THREE times during our trip because it was right next to our Airbnb. The food was so good! I got the chilaquiles almost every time, and the horchata cold brew and chocolate are also delicious. My friend ordered the oatmeal and the açaí smoothie a few times and said it was equally delicious. The outdoor ambience here is also beautiful. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Cute location, sat outside and it felt like being in a secret garden. The food and coffee were scrumptious and very filling. The staff was sweet and let me practice my Spanish!

Yelp
Cute outdoor patio, a bit touristy. I had the GF chocolate pancakes. They were dry and crumbly and a disappointment, but not terrible. Hubby got the eggs cibeles which was better.

Yelp
FOOD: Wasn't great. I ordered the hotcakes and they were extremely dry. No amount of syrup could help. I had OJ and it was yummy (home made). SERVICE: Was great too. We did have to waive our person down when we needed to pay the bill. AMBIANCE: Calm, cute, and relaxing and I highly recommend going here for a chill breakfast or coffee + maybe reading?

Yelp
The place is very cute! The outdoor seating was inviting, prices and food are average but the environment was worth, the waitress and staff pretty nice and attentive El lugar es muy bonito muy pal postureo, el patio muy incitante a quedarte los precios de la comida y el sabor están masomenos pero con el ambiente alrededor todo sabe mejor meseros y staff muy atentos y amables

Yelp
I read some of the reviews about the service and we did not experience that all all, the service was great! We had green juice, the baked oatmeal and coffee and it was by far one of the best breakfast yet!. If you want a nice, quiet breakfast this is the place!

Yelp
Lovely place to grab brunch on the weekends. We stopped by around 10am on a Sunday and we're pleasantly surprised to be seated right away - this place gets busy very quickly. We ordered Chilaquiles Verdes with chicken and the huevos rancheros. Both dishes were very flavorful and the perfect portions. While we waited for our food, our server also came over with a basket of pan dulce. They were the perfect appetizer to our brunch.

Yelp
Coffee and food were good+; I ordered a hot americano -- tasted just as strong as American drip coffee; 'huevos cibeles' -- cast-iron baked egg, ham, and (I believe) corned beef. Tasted delicious; I felt like I was enjoying Mexican cuisine. Also ordered matcha bowl (of yogurt); gently sweet, and the strawberries and green apples made it extra delicious. Wife ordered 'huevos arabes' -- cast-iron baked egg dish, which had a good amount of sour cream; again, felt like I was enjoying Mexican cuisine. Fall weather, 9am local time -- great weather to enjoy the outdoors. Staff was friendly, and also patient with us being not so adept with the Spanish language. Lots of plants and greenery in our sights. I enjoyed the food, the staff, and the food. I'd want to go again :-)

Yelp
Very cute place with live plants and vines all around you. It definitely did not feel like you are sitting on the edge of a busy roundabout, but more like someone's adorable backyard. The chicken Milanesa torta (sandwich) was delicious, crispy and savory. It was a huge portion and I took half to go, still good even as a midnight snack. Unfortunately their egg in a mini skillet dish left much to be desired, and the coffee was just so so, and nothing warranted the exorbitant price tag compared to other breakfast places just half a mile away.

Yelp
This is a cute place for coffee and breakfast. Coffee is ok, and they have savory dishes like eggs, sandwiches, and salads but the best deal is the acai bowl with seasonal fruit. Prices are super reasonable.

Yelp
This is one of the best places to grab breakfast in Mexico City. Had the matcha waffle; one of the best dishes I've had in all of Mexico City. The coffee drinks are good there as well, which I had trouble finding in the city.

Yelp
Loved this place! Cute lil spot with lattes, matcha lattes, bomb breakfast food, and outdoor seating. They do have wifi and bathrooms with hand sanitizer (a plus bc even after washing your hands you still need to sanitize them bc the water in Mexico will leave you with the shits). The staff here is young and hip and super friendly.

Yelp
Came here randomly for brunch because it was nearby. Loved it! One of my favorite places I ate in Mexico. It was Mexican breakfast but not super greasy or fatty. They had so many milk options for the latte I felt like I was in LA! At one point we were even serenaded by mariachis. Loved loved loved it here I have recommended it to all my friends who are going there.

Yelp
Horrible service, where do I start. We got sat down at our table and the waiter walked away. Waited about 5 mins for no menu, I had to raise my hand to even get a menu. Then went on and waited another 10 minutes for no one to come and take our order not even a drink order. For all the servers they had it was horrible. Ended up just getting up and leaving to have brunch somewhere else. If I could give 0 stars i would. Which is sad to say since I've been coming here everytime I visit the city.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place. The coffee was soo rich and so good . They had their own baked good and make really good breakfast sandwiches . They also have a wide range of teas that they brew themselves . The staff is also very nice and helpful . You also cannot best the prices or the view of the Main Street fountain .If you are in the area please stop by and have some coffee you won't regret it !

Yelp
Perfect place for a breakfast after 4 days of hearty Mexican fare. Food came out fast. The scramble that my girlfriend ordered came on a little cast iron pan and was possibly the best scramble that I've had. The bread that came with this dish was light and flaky. A perfect compliment to the dish. I had the quiche lorraine which was also delicious. We would have hung out longer and enjoyed the ambience but had to rush to an appointment. If I ever find myself in CDMX again I will definitely make a trip here!

Yelp
This little brunch spot has great outdoor seating to read and study. Had a bit of trouble communicating as I don't speak great Spanish, but was able to convince the chef to keep the burners on and cook their famous eggs past 1pm. Will definitely try to come back here!

Yelp
I ordered a caesar salad and, oh my god, it was more of a soup than anything. The entire thing was swimming in sauce that the croutons were never really crunchy and were always soggy. Their green juice was great though. Also, an employee actually started sweeping the floor next to us when we were eating so I ingested some lovely dust too.

Yelp
to start off we waited about 10 minutes to be sat and then another 20 minutes to get our order taken. the server wanted us to feel thankful that he was serving us instead of treating us like paying guest. the service was horrible and attention felt like i was asking for free food and drinks. ive never felt more unwelcome anywhere else. please save your money and time and try out another place that doesn't have servers that you'll feel you need to kiss their feet. it doesn't work like that

Yelp
Fantastic baked eggs: arabes, mushrooms (awesome), provenzal y madame chipotle. Everything was great. Lattes are hot enough! Eggs come with great roasted potatoes and slices of French bread. Staff are very friendly too.

Yelp
Awful, no service at all, owner or manger didn't even care about our pressence, let us waiting for a table more than 45 minutes, when there were 2 empty tables available. After 45 minutes, finally decided to sit us down at one of the 2 vacant tables. Ordered drinks, 30 minutes went by and nothing on our table. Finally my wife approached the main counter and ask for the check, this after we saw another couple stand up and leave. I think that if you own a restaurant or at least carry on the managerial position, you must do so, and try to take care of tour guests. Food = didn't have a chance to review it, Drinks = mediocre, (had to wait 15 minutes to get sweetener) and finally left them full on the table. Place = there are a ton of better places just around the corner (example: Fishers, Sonora Grill Prime, Contramar, etc... In this area). Manager or owner: a total disgrace with no clue. Handles the place as a trucker lunch stop, but without the food quality, from what I had a chance to see was being served, after almost more than 75 minutes decided to stand up, pay, and flipped this mofo.

Yelp
Had breakfast at La Ventanita yesterday morning. Terrific food and friendly service. Sat at a picnic table under a pergola in a small garden right in the middle of the city...charming. Great place for families!
