DO NOT RENT AT THE VENTURA, from a former tenant 1. The building is above the Fairway Grocery store which means from the hours of 4-8 AM there are unloading trucks, forklifts etc The street outside is full of pallets of stock for the store and is a loading dock essentially. It is wildly noisy and will wake you up from sleep all night. The Ventura KNOWS this is an issue and the noise has caused tenants to move out. ASK about this issue on your tour and if they deny any noise issues or downplay it they are LYING to you. 2. On a similar note, the area directly outside the entrance (5 feet stepping outside the doors) is a “hub” for door dashers. Its a bit bizarre. There will be 30 plus people hanging out at times. Essentially many door dashers will hang out here on the sidewalk/benches, even parking cars and hanging out in their trunk and pulling up folding chairs, and will litter and cause a mess. It technically is public sidewalk directly outside the entrance so I don't think the Ventura can do anything about the groups, but if you're touring just take note. The Ventura knows this is an issue. ASK about this on your tour. 3. There is something wrong with the vent system in the building, it is a known issue. The vents blow out air rather than suck in, so smells from other apartments (including cigarettes smells) will flood your rooms. The solution the Ventura had was to put pieces of cardboard on my vents.

Absolutely love living here. The doorman are FANTASTIC and greet everyone at any point. Super helpful and communicative in any situation, big or small. Theyre informative on the area and give great recommendations! Kenneth with the leasing team has also been amazing. Any issue that has come up - they have followed up and handled it in a very timely manner. It's so nice to be heard as a resident and feel as if the building has your back! Also absolutely love the recently renovated roof deck. its absolutely BEAUTIFUL

The doormen (Ira, Bruce, David, Musa) and the rest of the staff at The Ventura are fantastic - they are kind, proactive, welcoming, and truly care about the community. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for management as they continually miss the mark. The lack of consistent communication as well as failure to remedy issues as they arise are common occurrences, and very disappointing when paying "luxury" building prices. An example of this is a non-functional vent in the unit that blows air from an unknown source into the bathroom, versus extracting air as required by Code--the solution of which from management has been to tape tin foil over the vent to cover it, and the smells it sometimes emits, for almost a year now, with no ETA for a resolution in sight. The Ventura has the potential to be a fantastic building given its stellar staff and great community, but management truly should and could do much better for their tenants.

We have had such a positive experience at the Ventura — from the doormen, all of whom are kind, proactive and welcoming (Bruce, Ira, David) of our guests, to the staff in the building (Ruben, Hansel) who respond to maintenance requests in a timely fashion and resolve issues quickly. We particularly love the app and being able to submit maintenance requests quickly, as well as the access to information that the app provides overall. And the roof is unbeatable. Highly recommend living here!

The employees at the Ventura are very nice and helpful. I have put in maintenance requests, and the staff gets back to me within the same day. The management is very responsive. I am impressed with the communication they have with their tenants. Whenever there is an apartment being redone or news about something within the building, I get an email. I love my studio in this building!

Ruben did a wonderful job hanging a large painting and mounting our TV and sound bar. He was very quick, efficient, and respectful and made sure everything was hung exactly how we liked it and measured carefully. Would definitely recommend his services!

The Ventura is an amazing community. I have lived here for close to two years now and have nothing but positive things to say. Starting with the staff, I am welcomed each and every day and they really know me too. Packages are often sent right up to my apartment without me even asking. Anytime I have had a need for maintenance, the team responds in as little as 30 minutes and does not leave without solving the issue. I plan to remain in this community for much longer!

Sally, Jia and Ken in the management office at the Ventura are excellent in every respect. We are transferring apartments in the building, and they have made the entire process easy, efficient and smooth. They proactively are working with us to make sure the actual move will be seamless, and have satisfactorily addressed all of our questions. They are very accommodating. The building itself is managed extremely well, and not only Sally, Jia and Ken are great, but also the entire concierge, maintenance and management personnel are professional, helpful and friendly. We highly recommend the Ventura.
