We recently dined at a very elegant and high-end restaurant located within a luxury hotel. The atmosphere is undeniably beautiful — clean, modern, and clearly designed for guests who appreciate exclusivity and a quiet setting. It’s the kind of place where people come to be left alone and enjoy privacy.
We ordered three different dishes, along with two portions of rice and simple drinking water. While all three dishes were well-presented and tasted good, none of them were particularly memorable. The flavors were fine, but not at a level that justifies the incredibly steep price tag.
The total bill came to 3,400 Baht, and we only had water to drink — no wine, no appetizers, no desserts. Shockingly, two bottles of still water alone cost 700 Baht, which honestly feels absurd, even for a fine dining restaurant.
Yes, the space is beautifully designed and the service is professional, but if you’re coming here primarily for the food, you’ll likely be disappointed. The overall experience felt more about exclusivity and image than culinary excellence.
I can imagine that the hotel itself is probably excellent, but for dining, this place is more about show than substance. Not worth it for the food alone.
