Filipino Food Festival Philippines Fest Comes to Atlanta at Village Skate Park in August Hosted by Kamayan ATL | Eater Atlanta
"A skate-park venue on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway serving as the site for the inaugural Philippines Fest on August 12–13. The two-day event will feature over 40 vendors from across the eastern seaboard (including multiple Atlanta-based pop-ups and restaurants), live painting by Hella Leah, live-fire grilling demonstrations, kids activities, and merch; ticketing is $15 per person with children under 11 free, and hours are Aug 12, 11 a.m.–8 p.m., and Aug 13, 10 a.m.–7 p.m." - Beth McKibben
Super chill and fun but almost all volunteered labor and secondhand obstacles. Inspect everything before riding it like you'd do at a DIY. Be ready for a slippery and pockmarked floor (grippy wheels). This place is about community not profit. Lend a hand or ask to help and become part of the community.

If you and your best friends got together and built a clubhouse this is the skatepark equivalent of that. It’s like stumbling upon a hidden treasure. While it may not be the safest or most well built indoor skatepark it’s the one we will visit the most in Atlanta from now on. The murals are so cool. The whole place is neat to be fair. They’re making use of the space in such a cool way. My boys skated until they were exhausted. Everyone was super nice and we saw so many talented skaters while there.

Friendly place and great staff, good place to learn and get better at skating, blading, biking, and there’s a little stage for band playing in the back. Theres also 2 small fingerboard parks and some fingerboarding events happening soon.

Such a cool and inclusive place to hang out and meet new people. Attended a few events and love the vibes there! Also just found out that on Thursdays, you can make your own tshirts and stuff so what a great way to give back to the community. I love it here! One criticism: the parking lot attendant Flint has a terrible attitude so if you run into him, just ignore him and come in. You’ll have a great time! 😊

Everything about this place is phenomenal! The feeling, the experience, it can’t even be explained with words. Hopefully max and Tk can continue to grow and nurture this awesome park, and make sure to visit!

the floor had a bunch of chips, not smooth at all asphalt feels better. no flow at all just ramps next to each other like abstract half pipe because they aren’t the same size. idk if they change the layout around sometimes but it wasn’t good. some ramps are chipped, its all rugged. indoors but just as cool as the outside but no wind.

The mini ramp was my favorite part it is pretty small so it's not too scary for ppl that can't drop in on bigger ramps and there are ropes to help ppl that can't drop In at all, but the rest was a bit sketchy I recommend you be able to Ollie and rock to fakie before going into this place but it's really good otherwise and if you can do those things then you should totally come here.
