I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience today. From a young age, I have always aspired to visit a tea parlor that offers a variety of treats and an assortment of teas to sample. Regrettably, there are limited options available in my local area. Our server, Donna, was exceptionally impressive. She provided invaluable assistance in my selection of tea, which turned out to be perfect. Despite her busy schedule, she maintained a courteous and attentive demeanor. I made a concerted effort to convey my appreciation for her outstanding service. This tea room surpassed all of my expectations, and I genuinely look forward to my next visit. Considering the enjoyment I received, coupled with the remarkable service, delectable food, and exquisite tea, I believe the prices are indeed justifiable

We had an excellent experience at Vintage Tea & Cake Co. The space is lovely and the service and food were excellent. We were with my mom and 3 children ages 12 to 17 and we all agree that this was the highlight of our trip back home for Thanksgiving. We look forward to coming back here whenever we are in the area!

The vibe and decorations of the place were great, definitely enjoyed the vintage feel. Just wish service were a little better as this was our first time, when we went in, there was no indication of what to do and we had to seek out a waitress in order to ask despite having reservations. The tea quality was not great, opening the pots revealed a singular teabag per pot for the sencha (watered down) and Buckingham palace, which we had actually ordered the Garden Party (and sencha). Since the waitress never came back, we never got the chance to swap it. My mother is definitely a tea connoisseur and it's sad to see a tea place skimping on tea quality. The little snacks were good and I enjoyed most of them, received a mint white chocolate which upon asking the waitress, she revealed we received because they ran out of milk chocolate. Just felt like a lot of the items pastry wise were not fresh/from somewhere else which is fine but nothing to write home about. This place felt very presentational over actual quality of items. Not bad, nothing special.

This charming tea house in Lexington, MA, is a delightful spot that welcomes families, including children. They offer a kids’ menu, making it a family-friendly choice. Reservations are necessary and can conveniently be made online. For adults, there’s a vegetarian option available, catering to different dietary preferences. While the teas are served from tea bags rather than being freshly brewed, the establishment also provides alternatives like apple juice and hot chocolate for those who might not prefer tea. Uniquely, the tea house does not have a cashier; guests are asked to wait at the door upon arrival, where a staff member will greet them, check their reservation, and handle payment using a portable device.

Overall fine, but I won’t endeavour to come back anytime soon. The decor and general vibes try to be cute and eclectic but end up more akin to charity shop. The tables are all very close together which made things uncomfortable, and the dishware and cutlery had water stains and little bits in them, so not fully clean. I was also a bit worried about whether or not the dishware had been tested for lead, as that’s a concern with thrifted dishes. The waitress, a young woman with reddish hair, was very nice.

I took my mother-in-law here for her first high tea experience ever and…she LOVED it! 💖 We had such a wonderful time. The owner is very kind and she’s from England! The decor is beautiful. I love all the unique and pretty tea pots and tea cups. It’s also nice that they offer a vegetarian selection of the tea sandwiches and it’s much appreciated! Each bite of food was absolutely delicious from the sweets to the scones, from the sandwiches to the fresh jam + cream. We will definitely come back again soon! We also loved our tea. I got the vanilla chai which was absolutely divine and my mother-in-law got the classic English breakfast tea. We sat in the window seat in the sunshine and had a very special afternoon. Thank you! 💖🫖✨

We had a LOVELY tea here last week! The atmosphere is clean, eclectic and bright. They had a sweet little option for my 3 year old which she thoroughly enjoyed, and at the last minute we found out one of the adults in our party needs to be dairy-free, which they were able to accommodate. Initially our server seemed quite rushed and anxious to get our order in, but otherwise we never felt rushed along and luxuriated in our time together. The food was delicious! I had recently been in England and had two full tea services there, and this food was right on par. This was a really fun way to spend the morning and I'm certain I'll be taking more guests!
