Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon while visiting Charlotte. I had on joggers and was informed there was a dress code, however the doorman still allowed me into the humidor room to grab some cigars which was nice. I ended up going back to my hotel and putting some jeans on. Upon returning I had a nice beverage and a smoke. The cigar was a bit dry but the overall experience was decent. If you’re ever in town, it’s a nice spot try out.

First time going to a cigar bar, it was not intimidating , the hostess helped pick a cigar. The drinks were good and the service was also good. I definitely will be back with friends.

First time popping in and we were visitors via a day pass. We went after Valentine's dinner, around 8PM, and it was not too crowded or busy. I reserved back on January 16th for 2 people and asked for a table, but we were seated at the bar. It was our first time there so we were a little lost on what to do, but the bartenders were great at guiding us where to go for my husband to get a cigar (would be a great time to discuss the place with us and the memberships, might have gotten a membership out of my husband. I believe we were greated by the manager when we first came in). My husband said the fella that "assisted" him with the cigars was rude as hell, which low-key put a damper on the vibe (probably would have bought more cigars too). I'm over 1 year sober and was brought to this location due to Casey sharing it on her Instagram, and it sounded like they had an amazing non-alcohol menu. I wasn't too impressed based off other places I've been but I also remembered this was whiskey and not mocktails in general. The old fashion I had was good but I'd maybe learn a few more drinks you can make with the spiritless whiskey. There was one bartender (not the younger one with tattoos) who went above and beyond, and I wish we got his name because he was great at letting me try what options they did have for non-alcoholic items behind the counter and he was a great conversation holder as well. Because of him we will come back and try again!

Very nice environment, both indoor & outdoor. Great selection of cigars and very reasonably priced. The staff definitely was very knowledgeable in that respect. The service for drinks was the only area of opportunity. Very nice place, and a great setting. Definitely recommended for a relaxed evening.

The staff was very nice and helpful on drink choices and picking out cigars. I would definitely go back. I was so comfortable I almost didn't want to leave! Lol!

I have been coming to The Vintage since I moved to Charlotte on a whim in March 2025 and I cannot rave enough about how awesome of a place this is! The staff treats you like family and are extremely knowledgeable about the deep world of cigars. The mixologists are adept and skilled at delivering high end cocktails that are made to perfection. The cigar selection is the best I have ever seen in North Carolina easily. The ATMOSPHERE is the real kicker and really the reason I make sure I come spend my money here! This place attracts a great crowd full of mature professionals from the metro area. Come to The Vintage, you won't regret it! It's my new Basecamp for a great time! Thanks! -Grant

I was a guest to a private function but I was highly impressed with the whole experience. FYI, I heard the food was good but I was on a liquid diet that night. 🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃

Vintage is always a great vibe. I love the outside patio. Service is always top tier. I highly recommend if you haven't gone that you do.

This venues ambiance was certainly relaxing and low key with a good selection of whisky's and greater selection of cigars. But the reason this business has earned its 5 stars was its unbelievable service towards my friends, wife and myself. This establishment was our last stop for the night and needless to say, already had a few drinks prior. All of us but one were even keel. Unfortunately my friends was too inebriated to control himself and without giving great detail, was causing interruptions to a peaceful ambiance among multiple patrons. But the host and the waitress that was serving us outside, was extremely patient and in a VERY respectful manner and hinting to us the issues he was causing, encouraged us to make sure my friends stayed at our table. Solely because of their service we will certainly return again and speak highly of this place to others we know.

I'm no cigar smoker but I loved the vibes here. We came to hang out for my best friend birthday after dinner and we were able to get a table outside with the little fire place and it was perfect for our group. I didn't get photos of the inside unfortunately but it was a cute little spot where you could purchase cigars or bring your own, and a bar to order drinks. Their patio outside is really cute, and they do have staff to come take your drink orders. My friend knew a couple people that work there, so they were extremely nice and helpful. The customers were also really fun and told her happy birthday as well. I got my usual amaretto sour and it was so yummy. It had foam on top which I personally love with my drink. We had such a great time, vibing and enjoying time together. I didn't smoke but my friends did, and they loved the options they had there. Grab your friends and enjoy this lovely establishment!

Visiting my brother in North Carolina and we wanted to check out a cigar lounge to enjoy a few sticks and drinks and stumbled upon Vintage & boy was it the right choice for the night. The staff was extremely helpful in helping up select the perfect cigar for the night, I'm a Nicaraguan American and I went in wanting something smooth from Nicaragua, Carson pointed me in the right direction and educated me on flavors, I ended up going with the Joya which was a smooth smoke, not too heavy, just right to start the night off with. I paired it with a drink from their cocktail menu which was delicious, they have a full bar so whatever you'd like to sip on is available. The ambiance is very grown and sexy, furniture was cozy, the lighting was dimmed to the perfect level & every chair came with their own ashtray I will def be back.

I love this spot! Perfect indoor and outdoor space with full bar. Several TVs to enjoy sports games. They make a wonderful old fashioned and the staff is great! Always really good options in the humidor and they are open till midnight most days. My go to cigar lounge in the south end!

Let me start by saying I'm not a cigar smoker but my wife has recently picked up cigar smoking so I've been here a couple times with her. I just come for the cocktails and vibes! I have not had a chance to try any of the food here but the drinks are always a hit! I often get the Make your Mark & it's my favorite cocktail so far on the menu even though I'm not typically a brown drinker. Recently they had their Christmas menu still available due to still having the ingredients to make them and I tried the clarified pistachio cocktail. I'm a sucker for a clarified cocktail so I had to try it and it was a great choice! The staff here are all really cool and helpful! I love that they remember those who come often which gives it a homey feel! They also offer memberships and have a special members only section. Cigar smokers and non-cigar smokers, this is definitely an elegant spot you'll enjoy!

There needs to be a better in person evaluation of what is appropriate attire and inappropriate attire. I get it, setting a standard is paramount but being a nitpick is not good. You never know who you may turn away!

I think I'll keep this one short & to the point--I LOVE The Vintage! We have a few cigar bar options here in Charlotte, but Vintage is a hands-down BOSS! Beautiful patio--perfect for solo or group relaxation & good times. Gorgeous interior. Excellent craft cocktail menu--I enjoy the menu so thoroughly that I really don't have a favorite cocktail & can essentially be signed up for all things bourbon-based. Impressive array of cigar offerings, including a separate case of sweeter & milder options for palates like mine. Vintage is great for random pop ins & formal events--check them out today!

Initial impression, very negligent and below average attitudes. If I could give zero stars, I would. I called ahead to say I'd be running late, and their attitude was already rude. When we arrived, we were ignored for over an hour with no acknowledgment or update. The staff was indifferent and unbothered. Absolutely unacceptable--go somewhere that values its customers. It's a pity that our first experience was wasted on this establishment especially when we were celebrating my husbands birthday.

my spouse looked up a good cigar place to go to in Charlotte and this business came up as him and his two brothers were waiting to get inside. They were told that they couldn't come inside because one of the brothers had sweatpants on but when you look inside there everyone else had on lounge clothes as well , as far as basketball shorts so they were confused and felt like it was racism because of the color of their skin. There was another group of guys inside of the bar who had on shorts, but we're getting service. What was the difference...Definitely would not recommend. Especially if you are a skin person if you can read between the lines....

Fun spot, great selection of cigars and a full bar. Service a bit slow and there is a $10cover charge but drink and cigar prices very reasonable.

We (3 couples) visited while in town for a game. It was a perfect spot for after dinner to enjoy a drink and cigar. The drinks were delicious and the service was excellent! The ladies in our group enjoyed it just as much as the men. The outdoor seating really sets this cigar bar apart from others we've visited!

What more can I say about The Vintage besides amazing?! This is a quality, top-notch cigar bar. The open floor concept for their main lounge area really allows for socialization and a bright atmosphere. The lighting is perfect and gives a classy, speakeasy feel while the membership requirement and dress code ensures a high standard. They do all this without seeming pretentious which is a testament to how much they care about their customer base. The management team is fantastic and we were welcomed by Zach who certainly has a love and passion for premium tobacco. The drinks were made with care and the humidor was stocked with excellent blends from top manufacturers. Even the food options were delicious and expertly prepared. The Vintage will always be a must-stop any time we are in Charlotte.

Attentive friendly and knowledgeable staff, great humidor and menu and very chill atmosphere. Swanky especially on Friday and Saturday evening. Ample street parking. Variety of membership options and day passes available. Great ventilation /!: firetables and heaters for outside seating and garage doors that open when it's warmer. Best place to have a cigar in town. Sister location in Gastonia is nice too. I especially like that the cigar recommendations are spot on from John and Mackenzie.

I loved the vibe here! It has a classier feel than the cigar bar in the Epicenter. Great cocktails and the patio has heaters for cooler nights.

I've loved enjoying this establishment with my bf for his love for cigars, unfortunately, a few weeks ago, an incident happened that we did not feel welcome and from that, we may not return. I understand there are dress codes in place to keep order, as well as an environment. With that said, we have frequented this place numerous times with no issues with of our dress. Take into acct, when we were dressed very casual, on a weekday, and sitting in the patio area with no one informing us of any problem of our attire even then. On this day in particular, we did the same as we did, with the same attire we've had in the past, and sat on the patio. We were approached by a young man, this would be the first time we've seen him since we first started going to this establishment(since they opened) I'm assuming he was new, and was just "doing his job", which I understand. He informed us of a "dress code" which at the time, we're not aware of. It was totally fine if they implemented a "new dress code" since the time we had visited last, but what turned us off was the the tone and way in which this young man expressed it. A way in which it seemed as if he was trying to make an example if us. I doubt we would've had the same reaction if he had pulled us to the side, informed us and maybe even give us a warning about dress code for our next visit. Unfortunately, that was not the case and we probably will not continue to support this business which is unfortunate bc the staff in quite knowledgeable, normally friendly, and they have amazing parings with drinks. Update: they did NOT have a "dress code" on their website or social media until the DAY AFTER this incident happened. Way to cover your ass,.....

Got a table for my brother, husband, and grandfather and they LOVED IT! Very cool ambiance. Great service. Even gave my brother a free shot for his birthday!

Came here after dinner and it was a complete vibe for those who like cigars. There was parking on the street and we didn't have a hard time finding it. It is in a neighborhood so it gives that cozy neighborhood vibe. They do accept membership and we paid $25 for day pay that included both of us. The manager was super nice and accommodating. I wish I remembered his name but he had a full beard and long hair. He offered many recommendations to us in the humidor and at the bar. Once we chose our smokes and drinks we sat on the inside. It gives a lounge vibe, vintage decor. It has seating inside and outside on the patio. We did have a really good time. I will definitely go back. I am not sure about pricing for cigars which you do have to purchase from them at least one. The drinks ran around $14 or so. They did have small plates of appetizers. We only got some popcorn. This is a really cute place.

Last night I was invited to The Vintage Whiskey & Cigar Bar Vip media preview . An Upscale prohibition era lounge with over 1000 cigars to choose from,a full bar & patio. Style & grace is the best way I can describe this well decorated lounge , the attention to detail in design caught my eye more than anything . The service was A1, you can tell the employees loved their jobs and were just excited about it as we all were last night . If you're into stogies or if you just want a good chill vintage vibe with cocktails n such make sure you check them out on opening night today 2/19/21 officially open to the public ‼

This is a very nice/ sophisticated cigar lounge located in the heart of the Southend. I just wish they stayed open later.

Went to an Offline event here tonight and had a blast! The drinks were great and so was the ambiance. Our server was Sophie and she was amazing. Got our drinks out fast and made sure the bartenders made them stiff. Definitely coming back here just for the vibes

Absolutely love this place. It's my weekly hangout to go there, relax and have a great time. From the moment you walk in, your greeted by John (whom is a rockstar and will always point you in the right direction for a great cigar), and then the rest of the team at the bar (Joe, Rob, Darci, Larisa, Jim & everyone of them are rockstars. I will always recommend this place to anyone I meet!!

Such an amazing spot! I love that they have everything here, it makes it so everyone can enjoy it and find something they like. The cigar selection is great. My favorite cigars are ones from Acid because they have delicious flavors with sweet tips. The drinks are also great here and they pair well with the cigars. I really appreciate that they also have some food options. I think it is very responsible of them as it can help people from getting too wasted. They also have coffee and tea here. Service is good and it is very comfortable both inside and out on the patio.

Made special trip to Vintage only to find it closed for a special event. Nothing on the website. Lame excuse from manager that they couldn't list the event on their site since it was a private group. A simple closed for private event message is standard practice.

I thought this place was super cool and swanky, but normally this kind of stuff is out of my price range so it's possible I'm just easily impressed. I went here recently for a friend's engagement party and they had rented the back space so we did not have to pay the day fee that other comments have mentioned. The decor/furniture was beautiful and classy and the atmosphere was lovely, especially for a special event. Seriously, we got some great pictures. The cocktails were definitely pricey, but the bartenders obviously took great care to perfect them. The one thing that I thought was strange is that they don't normally allow you to smoke cigarettes on their patio, you have to go kind of off premises to do it. I understand that cigarettes have a totally different odor to cigars and might bother some who are very serious about it, but it seemed kind of silly to have to separate a group over it. On that particular afternoon they weren't very busy so they let it slide and were super nice about it- but I just wanted to mention it for the cigarette smokers out there who wouldn't know to expect it.

Great new cigar lounge in the south end area. Went on opening day for a nice smoke and drink and enjoyed the vibe very much. At the time not many bourbon choices that I like to see but I am sure that the choices will expand over time. The decor is very swanky and I can't wait to enjoy their patio more as it starts to warm up more in the city

So I'm updating my review from the last time I went a few weeks ago. Now I've been going to this place since They've opened. But I was turned away from this place based on my appearance and I've never seen the staff member that approached me. There has been periods I've gone with an hat and was allowed to sit outside with my hat, just not inside. This day in particular I came, took of my hat off and sat my items outside. I had a plain shirt and sweat pants which I have worn various times at this establishment. The new guy comes outside and embarrasses me by using me as an example of a dress code that was not present since I've been going. I began to think of the discrimination but I thought to myself I'll just take my business elsewhere. So I'm never going back to this place. Not to mention they charge $25 for a day pass everytime you go. If you are new in town and want to get a pass of $10 for unlimited times to enjoy a cigar I'll go to tailored smoke in downtown 6 mins away from this Jim Crow establishment.

Had a great time. The membership fee is a little hefty at $25 for a drop in (they have an annual option but I was visiting from out of town). Good cigar selection, fantastic drinks, and helpful and kind staff, too. The manager was particularly gracious and made me feel welcome and the gentleman who got me checked in and helped me pick a cigar was super knowledgeable. The regulars were a hoot and I'll be back next time I'm in town.

My wife and I stopped in for my birthday and the host was gracious in waiving the normal daily pass. Each person on the staff was extremely attentive to every guest and knowledgeable about the cigar selections. We will definitely be back!

This would be a 1 star if they had not had a shift change. On my first visit after becoming a member I brought a guest. First impressions are very important. The hostess and the bar tender prior to 5 o'clock were both very snarky and rude. It was raining and the roof was leaking in a couple of spots in the lounge. There was a plastic container on the floor catching water from the leak. Many guests including myself kicked it as it was in the walkway. My guest asked why I would pay for this membership where the staff was rude and the ceiling was leaking. The shift change at 5 o'clock brought a more pleasant host and bar tender who treated us well but negitive first impressions ruled the night.

I was excited to try this new cigar bar in Charlotte, and we decided to go a few weeks ago. It was a Saturday night, so I was expecting the place to be a bit crowded. The $25 day pass was a bit high, but we rolled with it. I don't know whether this is a normal way of how they handle customers, but it was quite odd that the same person that checked us in was the only person that would allow us in the walk in humidor to select the cigars. When we were ready to leave and pay our bill, he was also the only one that could check us out. We had to wait for him over and over again even though there seemed to be plenty of other people working there. We also ordered a few bourbon cocktails that were flavorless and watered down, not to mention pricey. A few good notes, the place was decorated well and had a great vibe. The cigars were also good. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

This newly opened cigar bar will for sure be a local favorite in no time! It's already one of my new favorite places to visit. I first went the Saturday after their grand opening and I was happily greeted by the one and only Charles. He was so kind and gave me so much information about the Vintage. After we chatted a bit, I moved up to the front doors to await a table and sign up for membership. This process was easy and there were plenty of staff members around to help with any questions. I'm not a true cigar smoker so I had much to learn before I started selecting my "stogie" ( yea, I'm hip now). We entered the humidor room and the beautiful Erica assisted us and educated us on cigar types and differences. We opted for a sweet cigar and went to the bar area to purchase a very delicious sweet vanilla type cigar. LOVED all of it! The highlight of my night was the best bartender in the world, Nick! He was so funny all night, I literally was head back cackling with him. Such a sweet, charming, knowledgeable and hilarious soul! Thanks Nick for being so amazing, it made our night. Nick also whipped me up a perfect Old fashioned, cut & lit my cigar & gave me hilarious tips on how to actually smoke the cigar: "Don't inhale!". Best night I've had in a long time. There was plenty of street parking, but depending on where you park you may have a slight walk to the door. The decor and vibes were so wonderful inside. COVID-19 precautions were in place with social distancing & mask wearing. Very happy to be a member of this establishment since they are currently sold out of general memberships and it's not hard to see why. I plan to come back again and again!

Ehhhh disappointing.... they charge $25 for a day pass per couple, this includes a cigar. The issue i have is that i don't even get a membership with this so I'll have to pay it every time i come plus the included cigar was a super cheapo that fell apart when i smoked it. We were seated and then i had to track down the staff to get a menu and my cigar. After this things were fine but at the end of the night i ended up paying $60 for 2 drinks and a bad cheap cigar.

Great customer service and great vibes. This is a latin themed cigar bar with a knowledgeable staff. They know the sticks and they know how to mix the drinks. This is my go-to spot when I am in the Queen City. I have been here many times over the years and the ambiance amd service are consistent!

This place is awesome! I decided to celebrate my husband 40th there! Joe was an awesome host! The decor is awesome and the drinks was fabulous! They treated us like movie stars! The spot in Charlotte! I cant say enough! Cigars spectacular

We got there an hour before closing, have been wanting to visit for some time. The decor was nice, we should have sat outdoors or in another sitting area away from the bar. I guess sitting at the bar was given me a Sports Bar feel. The only thing I would change would probably be the music, not much of a chill vibe but more of a socially vibe. Would definitely visit again.
