I would like to take a moment to recognize Daniel for his outstanding work in our building. He is consistently professional, courteous, and incredibly hardworking. The common areas are always spotless thanks to his attention to detail and dedication. Beyond his excellent work, Daniel is always friendly and approachable, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all residents. We are truly lucky to have someone like him maintaining our building. His efforts do not go unnoticed and are greatly appreciated!

We lived at The Viridian for two years during our stay in Boston and highly recommend it for those who value convenience, inspired design, and expansive living spaces. Offering beautiful apartments, gorgeous common spaces, thoughtful amenities, attentive concierge services, and design worthy of a magazine, The Viridian is the perfect choice for modern, stylish living. And the views are truly breathtaking, not only from The Sky Deck on the 20th Floor, but also from each apartment! Located in the heart of Boston's most exciting neighborhood, The Fenway, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience - from dining to shopping to catching a game. The management team could not be nicer - they along with the dedicated maintenance staff - were on top of everything! The building is beautifully maintained and treated with care worthy of luxury living. We give The Viridian an A++

I've been living at the Viridian for about 9 years and I can say it's been great, obviously since I'm still here! The management team I haven't dealt with much, but the maintenance people and front desk have always been outstanding! I feel really comfortable and they make it feel like a welcoming place.

A specific shoutout to the maintenance staff who have been absolutely wonderful over the years that I have lived here. They are responsive, helpful, considerate, and took the time today to come up with a creative solution to a niche issue in my apartment.

It has been almost a year since we moved in and very happy with our decision. Excellent 7/24 concierge service, and excellent maintenance service, building is always clean and very prompt repair service. Daniel, Jose, Talib and the whole maintenance/concierge team are the best

The building overall is very nice, however the management are somewhat lax regarding their no smoking policy. People smoke within and around the building constantly.

The apartment itself is decent, but the maintenance team's performance has been disappointing. Issues identified upon move-in remain unresolved despite repeated requests. The staff frequently ignore specific notes about entry times, knocking or entering precisely when asked not to, which significantly affects the living experience. Improved communication and respect for residents' preferences would help greatly.

The maintenance staff is incredible. They are friendly, courteous, and very willing to help. Daniel is a very sweet person and is very invested in the building and its residents.

Yelp
DON'T RENT HERE! When the building first opened in 2015, I was one of the first tenants to live here and I lived here until 2020. Management changed several times during my time. When I left, Becca Aldrich and Emily Thompson were the building managers. They are inexperienced, are not versed in rental law and very (very) rude to deal with. For instance, Becky tried to hold onto my security deposit until towards the end of the 30 day period (the landlord has to return the security deposit) because she was waiting to receive the water bill to deduct it from my security deposit. I had to educate her that under MA law, management is required to have the water meter read the day of or one day after the tenant moves out (which she did not do) and thus, she should not being waiting the whole 30 day period to return my security deposit because of the water bill. Another legal issue that I had educate management on was their water bills. Initially, they were overcharging tenants for water and passing down submetering fees that they were required to pay. Once again, I had to educate them on MA law and they later changed their water bills. . Other years, I befriended many tenants and many left because of the rude treatment from management. For example, if you are a few days late on rent, they will immediately start eviction proceedings on you. If your rent is not paid by the 5th of the month, expect to get served by a sheriff on the 6th day (this happened to me). I communicated with management and tried to work it out before the 5th of the month, as it was first time and I was dealing with a death in my family, and they were NOT willing to work anything with me. They are cold-hearted and don't give damn, even if it is your first time and your are dealing with special circumstances. I say all this, because management has been and still are inexperienced, shady and cold-hearted. All they care about is receiving the rent check from you. Oh, if you want to break the lease, be prepared to pay 4x the rent (2x rent penalty fee plus paying rent for two months during your 60 days notice of breaking the lease). In terms of the building, the WALLS ARE THIN!!!!!! You will hear heels and shoes from the floor above and in the hallways, dogs barking from down the hall, music and conversations from your next-door neighbors. People walking and talking in the hallways. Nonetheless, Angel and the maintenance staff are incredible and so kind. Additionally, Vincent and the other concierges were so kind, extremely helpful and always made me feel welcomeD. PASS on this apartment. They are much better, quieter apartments with much friendlier and supportive management.

Yelp
Have lived here for two years and wouldn't trade it for the world. You get exactly what you paid for, if you ask me The Viridian is actually affordable compared to other luxury buildings in Boston. They have beautiful clean gym, spectacular roof deck with music and grill, fast maintenance, friendly staff. I have loved it so much I convinced two of my friends to move here as well. Unlike many apartment buildings in the city; concierge is strict yet reasonable. They are always friendly to my guests and help them towards the elevator. I have made great memories in the roof deck and my neighbors became my close friends. The only thing I can think of is the laundry services on the 3rd floor; most don't work, so residents end up waiting on the same appliances making laundry hour Laundry days; and even though management have been notified I have always had issues with the washers. The ACs when replaced may not work as effectively as the older ones; me and my neighbor had this issue. I'm waiting on my security deposit now that I have moved and will be updating the review based on that.

Yelp
Don't live here if you have other options because management is probably one of the worst I've experienced in a luxury high rise. Biggest complaint is that the building is NOT insulated in the winter. You can feel the draft coming through under the windows. Garbage disposal is ALWAYS broken, so you just leave your trash in the trash room and it smells terrible. They won't put in window screens during the summer so if you leave your window open, bugs fly in. They do short term rentals to international residents who smoke, so every few months there's a bunch of new residents. Front door staff are nice and that's probably our only positive.

Yelp
New building well situated in Fenway. My experience thus far has been great. Concierge staff is very friendly and accommodating. Two great roof decks, on-site gym and swanky lobby. This, along with the rest of the new buildings in the area, comes with a hefty price tag but you come in knowing that.
