Great and food and very nice servers. I ate here twice and all of the food was good. Pictured are their wings, side house salad, the prime rib French dip, and bang bang shrimp.

Staff seemed nice and trained half the stores on the lot are horribly ran so it was a breath of fresh air to go to a place with simple transparency. They told me 20 min wait for to go order and food was really good. I got fish tacos and buffalo wings but honestly the fish tacos are big next time I’d just stick to the fish tacos.

Incredible place! Great food. Friendly service! Don't miss Taco Tuesday for $3 margaritas and incredible tuna tacos ($17). Love this cozy, pleasant, down-to-earth eatery! Other nights include great prime rib etc. outstanding!

We've always enjoyed our meals here. Good menu options. Consistently good quality food and service. Casual, warm atmosphere. They have outdoor seating and a few video poker machines in the back room. We made another visit while here in SR. The food quality is consistently good. I like that they offer specials and change out menu options. They do have a standard menu as well. Once again, my meal hit the spot. Kudos!

Always in search for a great Rueben. Well, here it is. The new #1 in Central Oregon. The Wallow was amazing! We went back the next day to try something else. Did not disappoint whatsoever. I will make it a point to stop back on my way through. I'd love to give these folks 10 stars in fact. Great atmosphere. Staff was laid back but provided exceptional service. Give the Gin and Tonic a chance as well. It was terrific! Great job Wallow! 💯

Tonight, I got the New York steak. All I can say is AMAZING! The steak was cooked perfectly, I ordered it Medium, it came covered in bacon, caramelized onions, and blue cheese crumbles. Laid on a bed of amazing red smashed potatoes with incredible flavor and veggies. The only thing I'd change would be the veggies, in my opinion, needed to be cooked longer but had good flavor. The meal was extremely good and one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Seen your place on Central Oregon news with Emily Kirk interviewing the manager or owner,food looked good. Went Friday night for prime rib with friends. The prime rib didn't have a lot of fat or grissel. The seasoning tasted like course pepper and salt the way we like it. Many places have a bunch of herbs which we do not like. The cut was a decent size excellent prime rib. My wife had the battered halibit, she really like it because the batter was light (many places are too thick) and the fries were good. Our server was Tara who was excellent staying on top of everything as busy it was. Overall good price for excellent food and service. We'll be back again.

Based off the reviews, we expected a reasonable experience. The waitstaff was clearly ready to support, but the kitchen was behind and threw off the whole experience. Due to that, the whole experience was pretty lack luster. Food came out hot, but heat lamp hot. Pickles and plate super hot, food.... not so much. Overall, disappointed.

Great place! Husband and I visited while we were in Sunriver. Our server was a young gentleman so informative and great personality with great service. Hope to visit again!!

We tried The Wallow Bar and Grill because the restaurants in The Village at Sunriver were packed with long wait times. I am glad we ventured away and found this place. The service was fast and friendly and both the food and cocktails were very good. This is going to be our new go to when traveling to the Sunriver area.

Ordered carryout. The person on the phone was nice, and they were quick to help me when I arrived to pick up my order. The food was basically inedible, though. The chicken sandwiches were so overcooked, we could not even chew them. My family and I have never had food this poor anywhere. It was so bad, we were amazed how it could even turn out this way. Would give it zero stars for food but the people were nice so leaving a 2 star review

Have visited on multiple occasions over the course of several years. The service is always quite pleasant and efficient. The cocktails are nicely made. The fall down is in the cleanliness, sanitation, ambiance and food. Tables are consistently in need of a wipe down and it's apparent a deep clean has not taken place in far too long. The atmosphere is lacking in comfort and has become more and more drab with the lack of upkeep over time. The breakfast food is bland. Our one meal that came with a side of potatoes had 10 pieces in the order, yep, we counted. Given the limited options in the area we overlook many things, appreciate the service and cocktails, and keep going back. With more effort and pride, this place could be pretty great.

Our favorite place to eat! Has always been good. Friday is Prime Rib night. So good. Seared Ahi Tuna my favorite. A suggestion is not to charge for the fry sauce or dipping sauce for the yummy fries.

Came in for a bachelorette party dinner. My Mac and cheese was soooo good! Also I'm picky about my Mac! So good job! Our server was Tara and she did a great job even though some of our party was a bit difficult. She checked in on us often. Was very accommodating when one of the girls complained about her soup and replaced it with onion rings. I just want to say Thank you to her for being so gracious with us. I really hope she sees this and knows that she is appreciated and did a good job. The vibe of the place was like a cute country dive bar. Not what I expected but it was fun to see all the animals on the wall!

We hv eaten there many times trying out their menu. Not once hv we come home NOT feeling sickly. Burping an oily taste. They should clean up their oil for frying. Not to mention cramping n visiting the toilet many times. It's to bad cause its in a convenient location for everyone. PLEASE...... Wallo, get it together, we'd love to support our local restaurant!

Delicious! Great spot for apres ski or lunch. Favorites include: salmon blt, French dip, nachos, burgers. Good beer selection and full service bar. Knowledgeable and friendly servers.

Always great food, especially the Thursday specials. A little noisey because It is a social place but service is good. Go early and avoid the crowds, especially in the summer. Love the taxidermy on the walls. impressive.

Elk Burger was Perfectly cooked. Service was excellent. Love This Place. So Happy to have it close by. Keep up the Great Work.

Very good food and the service was outstanding. The fries we're season are to perfection and added a little extra spice per request. Looked like a combo of locals and tourists like us. Thumbs up.

The tuna tacos were delicious and perfectly cooked! My son had Prime rib sandwich that was also delicious! Friendly and attentive service!

We had dinner here on a Thursday night which was rib night. They were great! My boyfriend had a ribeye which was also good. We had wings to start which I wouldn't recommend here. We ate at the bar and the bartender was great. We had tons of food and took two to-go boxes home. I'd come back if in the area.

I have been to this restaurant since it started. Tonight was the poorest experience in that time. We had to remind the waitress for water several times but the significant issue was the poor timing of the meal and the lack of attention to detail. My 82 year old Mother's meal was very delayed coming out. The other 5 meals came at once. Also some of our meals were delivered to the wrong table and left there for over a minute. I noticed the waitress went to that table, picked up meals for our table. I said "wait a minute that has been I front of someone I don't t know" her response was "He said he didn't touch it." Overall they failed across the board on service.

Had a wonderful Easter Sunday meal because of the amazing service. A woman name Savannah was in charge of my order, made me and my family feel so welcome.

The Elk burger was so yummy and I'm so glad that Martha was my server. She truly made my day. Friendly, attentive and just a great soul. With the yummy food and the amazing service, I will definitely be back. Can't wait to check out the patio this summer. Thank you Martha

Pretty good food ! Service was great too :) There's a reason why others have recommended, we would definitely go back, one of our better meals in Sunriver, OR

Our local place has gone downhill. Beef tacos were barely OK, wait staff was unfriendly and actually abrupt. The final and biggest complaint is that each one had a mask under her chin instead of on her mouth and nose. Each time our waiter came to the table she stood too close, leaned across 2 of us to serve others all while talking. Not OK. We also saw that the bartender was doing the same thing. Sorry, Wallow but we're out.

This review is for their breakfast only. We came the morning of FIFA women's final. There were quite a few tables here rooting for the USA team. The waitress is fast on their feet and make rounds to every table to make sure all their needs are met. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Coming from Texas, I am a chicken fried steak SNOB and I have been burned by CFSs not from the southern steak. I was very pleasantly surprised. Sure, this is not your typical southern style CFS - the batter is different, the cut is different, the gravy is different. But none of those matters since the food is damn tasty. The meat is not pounded thin enough but they used a more tender meat of meat so it is not chewy at all. The gravy is not the typical southern style gravy, but it's full of sausage, so who can complain about that?! What I am impressed about the most was the eggs I ordered. I like my eggs over medium. Nine out of ten times restaurant mess this up and I get over easy or over hard. They cooked it perfectly. The whites are completely cooked, and the yolks are the perfect jelly consistency. Definitely one of the best over medium eggs I have had. Will definitely be back to try their dinner and drink next time I'm in the area.

Every meal I've had there in this past year has not been good. Seasonings and flavor profiles are way off. This used to be a consistently great place. I will say service has been fine. Pleasant servers, not really going above and beyond, but proficient at what they do. There is no ambiance. Cheap tables, cheap chairs, dead animals on the walls.

I came to sunriver to visit a friend and was told this spot was supposed to be good. Had the server nate who forgot about me for 30 mins while waiting when it wasn't busy so I had placed my order with the bartender. The food was decent, the bartender was kind, but the server left a bad taste to my mouth. Not sure if I'll want to visit again

Another great meal at our local place. The rib special on Thursday nights is to die for! Best BBQ beans ever. Service was speedy and friendly like always and good followup. This place is a local favorite and gets pretty busy in the prime dinner hour so come early! If you come later than 7 pm they are a little less busy.

Great food and even better service. Didn't take pictures but the tacos were huge, steak was cooked perfectly, and nachos were fantastic. We will be back!

Great service, but food overall was just ok. The pulled pork nacho was different, but good. The house salad was ok. The breading on the fish (fish and chips) was a bit thick and greasy. We asked for the blue cheese bacon burger to be cooked medium rare and it was cooked well done. Food was not bad but next time we'll try a different place.

This place is great. Easy parking, good service (they didn't pick up the phone though and Yelp hours are wrong) and the food is actually DELICIOUS. From the pork nachos to their quality Cobb salad and cheesesteak sandwiches, my family unanimously loved their meal. We are definitely coming back again.

It was my first time to this place. I met a super friendly bartender named Brooke. She was awesome, funny, and full of charm. She was very thorough handling the bar and also talking to the guests at the bar. Hold on tight to this one. She's a keeper

Great food! Great service! You really get a lot for your money - impressed with the menu. My partner got the cheese steak sandwich and loved it. Family friendly for Labor Day lunch, too!

We eat here about once a week (the grilled shrimp tacos are amazing and you don't feel like you ate fast food). We pickup orders only, but the staff are always kind and easy to talk to and order from.

I have to give a one star due to their wings, the picture explains it. It tasted like they just squirted chili sauce on it. Pretty bad!

Dropped in after a day at the mountain, elk burger got a thumbs up, fish and chips were solid and the French Dip was huge and yummy. Service was good and friendly.

The best kept secret in the Sun River area. Had the grilled fish tacos and home made chips. I instantly fell in love and we went back a second time! We were busy packing up my parents house so took the food to go, reasonably priced, good portions and ready when they said it would be! Highly recommend! My mom had the Beet Salad and loved it, my dad and sister had the Pastrami Sandwich and raved about it. The onion rings were scrumptious also!

Good food, but could be a bit better with the service. They let me substitute the shrimp for chicken on the curry dish! So I was very pleased.

Came here for lunch because we hadn't been in awhile. Their food is pretty expensive for what you get in our opinion and they were already out of pork belly by noon on a Saturday. We feel like certain dishes they do better than others so I would steer clear of noodle dishes (like the salmon on noodles!), because they turn the noodles into inedible mush by overcooking. Then the vegetables that are cooked are overdone too. I'd probably stick to typical burger fare - like the elk burger and things that are cooked on the grill but not the other entrees. Their soups are good. It's a bummer that they won't allow dogs on the patio so that's out if you have a dog in the summer because the car is too hot for a dog. We've eaten here now probably 3 times total and it's okay but there are better places around. It has a strong following though and I think if you want a beer and a burger with fries or fish and chips you are good to go.

We ended up at The Wallow Bar & Grill only because every other restaurant in Sunriver was booked or with a really long wait list. SO HAPPY we did it. After a disappointing dinner at Owl's Nest (appetizer-sized entrees and small desserts), we weren't in the mood for more bar food, however, The Wallow was the exact opposite. Good sized portions, decent prices and friendly service. We had the pulled pork sandwich, French dip, cobb salad, baked beans and fries. The pulled pork and baked beans were the stars of the night and highly recommended.

Love this restaurant. Wait staff is friendly and professional. Food is always hot and delicious. Personally like the adult grilled cheese sandwich Lots of beer selections and a full bar as well. I have enjoyed eating breakfast here many times.

Wife and I were in town for golf and salads sounded good. I had my usual Cobb. Very good. Lots of chicken, thick smoky bacon. Wife had the sugar beet salad. Also very nice and a nice change.

We ate there 4 times while in Sunriver. Loved the Cajun shrimp appetizer, pork belly tacos and Thursday ribs. We also loved the service. Everyone was so nice.

I have had breakfast at this place twice now and both times my meal has been insanely good. The first time I had Prime Rib Benedict , the second time Huevos Rancheros. My family came with this last time and I tried everyone's food. The meals, right down to the kids meals were fantastic. Service was attentive and quick. We will stop by each time we are in the area, and look forward to trying lunch and dinner here!

My husband and I split the blue cheese bacon burger and the elk burger...both very tasty and...AWESOME FRIES! I'm always happy to find a good fry place, and these held up over the time the hubby got the food and brought it back to our rental. Will have to go in in non-COVID times.

Super nice dining experience during the slow times in the Sunriver area. Not so sure on peak tourist times but for us we have options when to dine. Very welcoming and friendly staff which kind of made you feel at home and want to just hang out for a while. Food was pretty okay. Nothing fancy or over the top which is what we want sometimes and what you'd expect from the exterior and location. Great place to visit ..

We enjoyed our dinner so much, we came back for breakfast the next morning. Friday night prime rib dinner was fantastic! The prime rib was cooked and seasoned perfectly and it was a generous portion. The horseradish infused mashed potatoes were wonderful- a nice surprise! We also had the rib eye with mushrooms and the steak was so tender and tasty, same delicious mashed potatoes and both meals had perfectly cooked squash. I enjoyed the huckleberry lemon drop cocktail, too. Yum! For breakfast my hubby had an amazing waffle with bacon and cheddar cooked in it, with eggs on top and smothered in fantastic sausage gravy. The hand squeezed orange juice was a bonus. I had a classic breakfast of scrambled eggs, red potatoes (cooked perfectly) and bacon which was a tad too crispy but I asked for a side of that awesome gravy and all was well. The staff was friendly and fun, quick service and excellent prices. We will definitely return again.

I love this local place. They have a wide variety of items on their menu, and everything is amazingly good that I have tried over the last few years.

Very cool bar, and grill heading out of Sunriver. Almost feels like a hunting lodge inside with the taxidermy decor inside. I get the feeling this is a place for the locals. We met up with some friends who are local to this area, and I am pretty certain they go here often. I didn't get a drink because I was DD, but they looked delicious. All of the food looked, and smelled amazing. We ended up ordering the Asian chicken salad, and the sweet chili garlic wings. They were delicious. A man next to me had the ribs, and let me tell you what...the smell coming from them made me want to steal his plate, and ravage those ribs like a crazy person! I had to contain the inner carnivore beast in me, and wait until the next time we come to town. So the next best thing we did was made some ribs the next day. Ha! I will definitely be adding this place to the list to stop back by when we are in town. They are doing something right!
