"Located along Old Town Alexandria’s main drag, the Warehouse could just as easily reside in New Orleans’ famous French Quarter. It’s got a cozy atmosphere. A welcoming vibe. And an abundance of Cajun favorites including hearty seafood gumbo, fried oyster loaf, and crawfish-stuffed flounder." - Eater Staff

Has the best waiter ever!!!! If you go and want to sit outside make sure to ask for a fan to help keep cool. Def try their specials. The chef does an amazing job at keeping things new and every changing

Google
In summary, it was absolutely delicious but very expensive. All my ratings are solely based on the food and not about the service, price, or looks of the place but I will mention them because they are important to others. But I guarantee you will love your meal here. We ordered two fish dishes and the crab beignets and they are phenomenal. The fish was so tender and packed with flavor from the sauces. I got the pecan encrusted haddock and dang I nearly passed out from how good it was. My date had the mustard sauce trout and she had the same reaction. But the surge of pleasure those crab beignets sent through our bodies should be illegal. We were surprised we weren't kicked out of the restaurant from our sounds of ecstatic eating pleasure. Oh and I can't forget this.....the chocolate martini! I am a huge fan and I get them wherever they are served. I even make them at home with the good quality chocolate liquor. So this one they served me was on point! So I definitely suggest you get one. Overall, it was a great food lover experience and I will definitely return down the line. The service is great and the place itself is chill. The price is kinda hefty especially for a large family looking to dine. It was just two of us celebrating a special evening so it was a rare splurge. But if you are ok with the higher than average prices for the area or celebrating something special, then you should definitely make a reservation at the Warehouse.

Google
This was the NOLA breakfast and it was fabulous. The bacon was crispy, the beignets were fluffy, the syrup was warm. I ate half a loaf of bread and a cup of fresh strawberries and cream before the meal came because it was delicious and I couldn't stop. Roll me out in a wheelbarrow. Also they open for brunch earlier than anyone else nearby, so it's great if you're out and about early.

Google
This place was absolutely amazing! I have family from NOLA and have had a hard time finding a place that knows how to make a proper roux for an etouffe, but this place nailed it! I had the Oysters Bayou, and my boyfriend had the Steak Pontchartrain. Both were cooked to perfection. We had made a reservation and even though we were a tad late they promptly sat us, and the staff was amazing & friendly. Definitely come hungry because the portion sizes are huge!

Google
Wow....one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Was restaurant week, so the wine we picked was discounted. Some picked the price fixed 3 course dinner. The wait staff was outstanding. Great environment.

Google
Had the pleasure of dining here for my birthday. Enjoyed the seafood omelet from the brunch menu with my hollandaise on the side. It was accompanied by a complimentary glass of champagne. Delicious! We had reservations and were seated immediately. The place was packed. Street parking may be challenging, so we did one circle of the block and then parked in a garage. Vibrant neighborhood and great walking around on a beautiful day.

Google
Honestly this place is by no means bad. I think all of the food was solid, but nothing was extraordinary by any means. The food claims to be creole, but the creole flavors either don't exist, or aren't prevalent enough to make a difference. I was very excited to try the Alligator Stew, but eating it just had me thinking that I could make it better at home. When coming to a fancy restaurant, I expect flavors I don't think I can easily replicate, so to actually know I could make a superior stew is simply disappointing. I understand that realistically, the issues are my own expectations, but I don't think expecting something I can't easily surpass is too unreasonable. This place is definitely better than an average sit down place, but I wouldn't come expecting actual Creole flavors.

Google
Nice chill spot for a refined brunch experience. White tablecloths and cloth napkins 😍. Great service and cool, friendly vibe. Food was tasty and thoughtfully prepared. As usual I forgot to take pictures until the end… Gator Stew 4/5 Gator Bites 5/5 Seafood Omelette 5/5 Pecan crusted chicken with poached egg over home fries 5/5 Brunch was over $80 for 2 so a little on the pricey side

Yelp
Beautiful day, beautiful company! Celebration for a milestone! Food was good! The order came out-of-order, but we didn't complain because who wants to ruin dinner. Overall it was good, will have to come back to try more menu specials. They do have a menu that is expansive.

Beautiful S.

Yelp
The food was VERY VERY VERY mid and NOT worth the cost. Crawfish was definitely frozen, etouffee wasn't authentic at all AND it was served with yellow rice. Where they do that at?!?! I will NOT be returning. I'd rather drive my a**all the way to Arkansas to go to the last standing Copeland's before returning to this place. Service was meh. Ambiance was also meh.

Yelp
I came here with my mom and brother on 5.13.2024, I made a last minute reservation while we were seated at a happy hour spot and was able to easily snag a resy. When we got there, we decided to sit outside since it was nice outside, we were quickly seated and just as quickly greeted by our server. We ordered a couple of drinks and then started with some oysters, I am not a big oyster person, but I tried one and enjoyed it. My brother and mother both liked them. I got the Fruits De Mar for my entree which came with a half lobster, shrimp and jumbo crabmeat, my meal was bomb! There was so much seafood in my dish, they definitely don't skimp on it; it was seasoned perfectly and although it was a filling dish, it was light at the same time. My brother got crab cakes and he was not impressed, in addition his portions were small. I can't recall what my mom got as it was a special, I believe. I tasted it and also don't recall being impressed. The service was excellent, we had a very friendly, personable and attentive server. I really wish I could give half starts as I would give this place a 3.5, although my food was bomb, both my mom and brother's entrees did not match how good mine was. I will most definitely be back as in my gut, I know this spot is higher than a 3.5 spot!

Tweety B.

Yelp
The champagne with strawberries was yummy, i asked the waiter for the name. Our entree came with one glass and we ordered more glasses. We ordered gator bites and the remoulade was yummy. The charbroiled oysters were crispy on top and gooey inside and tasty. For entree i got the Louisiana crawfish Étouffée which was made just right and my collegue got french toast. We topped it off with the Hazelnut Chocolate Creme Brûlée. We got a window seat watching folks stroll around in Old Town and the room was empty initially and picked up a crowd for brunch quickly! Our server was super nice too.

Yelp
Why haven't I heard of The Warehouse before. I was in Va and did a Yelp search and this amazing restaurant came up. For a Sunday evening we were able to get a last minute reservation. Upon entering the hostess was very pleasant and seated us early. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. From the appetizer to the entree all of our food was fresh and seasoned to perfection. The oyster's taste as if they came right out of the ocean. Our catfish was seasoned to perfection. The pork chop was so tender. You didn't need a knife to cut it. I have no complaints and I will dine at The Warehouse again.

Magdalena S.

Yelp
So I've been here a couple of times as my husband seems to love it along with everyone we bring here. Definitely a great spot but maybe a tad bit boring for me personally given the price which is why I'm giving 4 stars but I'm sure many of my friends would disagree and give it a five! Also a good place to bring out of town visitors who might be picky eaters, there's something there for everyone. I do appreciate that on our most recent visit some members of our party weren't really dressed for fine dining and yet the staff still treated us wonderfully and with dignity. This is great if you're a tourist in the area dressed for a day of walking and just want to walk in for lunch off the street. Much respect to the great staff!

Sean L.

Yelp
Seafood Gumbo, Seafood Omelette & Softshell Crab are REALLY good & tasty! Sitting by the Windows, Enjoying Nice Seafood & Beautiful Spring Saturday Afternoon

Nessa M.

Yelp
The service staff and managers are incredibly rude. I was sitting at the bar having my meal (for context, I was dining alone) when a server began insulting me and telling the bartender to look at me. He turned, and the server said, "Don't look." When I complained to the manager, he disregarded my complaint by saying that the server is known for being polite and would never insult anyone, as if I didn't actually hear her insult me. This ruined my experience at the restaurant, which was quite annoying as there are many great restaurants in the area that I could've chosen that likely would have provided much better and courteous service. Avoid this establishment if you want to be treated with respect. Dine here if you want to deal with nasty, disrespectful servers.

Kristina R.

Yelp
Came in during the week and was able to sit at the bar right away. The bartender, Christian, was working very hard to fulfill all his drink orders. He said he had only been there for a few months and was getting the hang of it. I think he did a wonderful job and it was clear he was trying to get orders completed as fast as possible. He definitely deserves a break. I'm a little torn on the food. The charbroiled oysters were delicious, I could've ordered two more plates of them. The bread was baked very well, but the butter was too cold/hard to use. I ordered the salmon with lobster on top. It was very, very little lobster, especially for the price. The three asparagus were cooked well, but the plates could've used a lot more greenery. Mashed potatoes were standard and very good. The salmon was cooked well but lacked flavor. The parts that were heavily seasoned were very good, but I left most of it on my plate because it was flavorless. The hazelnut crème brûlée was also a bust- just way too dense for myself. I love sweets and do not shy away from decadence, but there was very little taste to the dish then melted chocolate. Would definitely return, especially for the oysters, and try some different entrees & desserts.

Yelp
It's a good restaurant with good food It has nice albeit forgettable service. The problem with these types of places are the table sizes and the spacing, it's just uncomfortable, but that being said they have the best Crab cakes around so I'll probably go back to give it another go, "glutton here." It's a typical fine dining restaurant that doesn't too much stand out from all of the other fine dining restaurants on King Street but it's worth a try. I base my repeat visits mostly on how personable the staff is and if I think they'll remember me. I don't think this place will so maybe I'll go back for the Crab cakes but maybe I'll try somewhere else.

Kerri S.

Yelp
Okay so to start off the service was GREAT!! Our main server was very nice and patient while we decided on everything. Our water or cocktail glasses never stayed low and there was no wait between courses despite being the Friday night after Valentine's Day. But the food. It was not bad but I was not impressed. The Texas cloaked shrimp were cooked well with the bacon and jalapeño wrapped, but they were dowsed in BBQ sauce. Like drenched. If it were glazed onto the shrimp it would have been better. The surf and turf Filet and crab cake were okay. The filet was cooked medium & perfect, but neither protein was seasoned. The potatoes underneath were also bland. The table salt & pepper helped out, but I'm from VA & a crab cake without Old Bay just ain't right.

Omara R.

Yelp
The service was AMAZING from start to finish everyone was nice and so helpful. The decors were elegant with the corkiness of the painting of regular customers and super cleaned. The food was awesome too, I had to take a picture of my niece's chicken sandwich because she couldn't stop raving about it. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavors, the fries were crispy but soft on the inside; and the sauces were SUPER delicious!!! However, my seafood omelet with hollandaise sauce was full of all kinds of seafood and flavor perfectly! So happy we stumbled upon this place.

Zack G.

Yelp
Upscale restaurant with a solid menu and great service, but only average food I came here with some friends for brunch and we were underwhelmed by the size of the portions given the price tag. The food was solid, but nothing that blew us away We did get either strawberry's & homemade whipped cream or champagne along with our entrees however They also gave us complimentary bread with butter (which was solid and is something that I will never complain about), but it was a strange addition and I have never gotten this with brunch before

Nancy R.

Yelp
Based on previous reviews we were expecting a near perfect dinner. However it was "ok". The service and drinks definitely carried our experience. Our server was very nice and the food came out fast and hot. The food was very much lackluster. We ordered a French martini and lemon drop. Both were good. The calamari was good; I only ate the rings as the tentacles creep me out. The Texas shrimp would have benefited from a glaze instead of the chunky barbecue sauce. The sauce was entirely too heavy. We both ordered surf and turfs. My partner's steak was cooked perfectly, while mine was overcooked. Everything on the plate would have been better with some seasoning. Overall it was good but nothing to return for.

Latoya J.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my visit to this beautiful restaurant. The service was spectacular and the food was great. We literally had no complaints at all. That's saying a lot for a party of 8 women but the surpassed our expectations and treated us very well. I tried the gator bites which are so delicious and the shrimp and crawfish fritters which were just ok. For my meal I got a bowl of gumbo and it was good. I would definitely come back here to try more delicious dishes. If you like seafood then this is the place to be.

Candace G.

Yelp
I love this place. The services 5 star top notch. I've been several times. Most recently for Mother's Day. The cream of crab soup was spectacular. And their charbroiled oysters are the best I've had outside of New Orleans. Can't wait to come back.

Sav T.

Yelp
I had to get some smothered catfish with some flavor. And this place did not let me down. It appears they got the front of the house solved and the food really shined. I sat by the bar solo and it was very enjoyable.

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
Made reservations for a brunch and was seated right away. Prime location on King St in Old Town Alexandria makes is very attractive to dine here and being very close to all the shops. Our server was attentive and our food came out really quick. The Chicken Orleans burger had a huge portion that we had leftovers. I was offered strawberries and champagne as a pairing for my eggs benedict (but I chose the alternative of strawberries and whipped cream). Would definitely come back!

Monai D.

Yelp
I think I found a new favorite dinner spot!! The Warehouse exceeded all of my expectations. The menu had so much to offer, it was hard to choose just one thing. I ended up trying the Fruits de Mar (picture included). I think the picture says enough! Pasta with half a lobster tail, crab meat, and shrimp-- SO GOOD. The service was great too. My original reservation got messed up somehow, but they still sat us very quickly. The server was attentive and kind. Everyone in the restaurant seemed like they were enjoying their meals and the vibe. I can't wait to come back to try more from the menu!!

Julia C.

Yelp
Fantastic high end seafood and steak restaurant. Very chic and upscale interior with soft lighting for the best date night. The only thing better than the atmosphere is the food. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu. The service was excellent as well. Attentive staff.

Nita H.

Yelp
I had a celebratory dinner at 8:15pm last evening. My first visit, parking in Ole Town is a challenge so plan accordingly to find it and get to your reservation on time. There is plenty of parking garages where you pay and if you're lucky street parking. The ambiance is very nice, white table clothes, cozy sitting and special service. I had such a great time that I didn't take a picture nor get the waiters name. He's an older gentleman with an accent! He was very attentive and took care of us. The food was delicious!!! We began with starters including the gator bites, calamari and shrimp/crawfish beignets! So good!! I had the 3 course meal featuring broiled branzino with fried oysters!! OMG, my taste buds were happy! My friends had the surf and turf, stuffed fried catfish, shrimp and crawfish etouffee , and rockfish. We had a variety of cocktails, lemon martini, dirty martini and cosmopolitan along with ginger ale and fresh water. We had a lovely time fellowshippinh and divulging in this delicious meal. The bread budding was the finale and boy was it delicious!! Our waiter came over happy and said "see you tomorrow!" LOL. We appreciated the food and service! Thanks for making my day special!

Jasmine B.

Yelp
I've been going to The Warehouse for years and they never disappoint. Everyone is so welcoming and it is always a great ambiance. The service is quick and the food is always amazing. When I visit, I always order the She Crab Soup. We also ordered the calamari and wasabi crusted fried oysters. The drinks were nice and strong also.

Angela S.

Yelp
The food NEVER misses! The gumbo here is the best I've had after the gumbo in New Orleans. Their Fruit de Mare is to die for. The etouffee is also a star. And omg their lobster cobb salad is chefs kiss! Every time my husband and I come here, we're always so torn on what we should get because we want everything! The service is always great. They have a very welcoming staff. The ambience is on the older side, but it's nice enough, and for a great meal, it's worth it!

Jen S.

Yelp
Came here with friends instead of going to the boring welcome reception for our annual meeting. Best decision. No regrets. There were 5 of us. Edgardo is the best. He took care of us. Seriously ask for him when you come. This is a very intimate/ quiet restaurant. Our reservation was made via open table. When we arrived they were ready for us. Bread for the table: you get a delightful basket of French bread + butter. My friends ate it all. I ate none. I wouldn't have been able to eat my meal otherwise. Such is the life with no stomach! Drinks: Me: peach sangria - very tasty but a little watered down. So I topped it off with a pino gris. It was great! Friend 1: cranberry and seltzer w lime - loved it Friend 2: hurricane- thumbs up Friend 3: Pinot Noir- did she enjoy- she sure did. Friend 4: Moscato- friend prefers the bubbly kind but really liked this. Was sweet to her liking. Food!!! So I am weird. No allergies. I just hate everything that swims. Ok I love things that swim. I just don't eat them. I got the spicy pecan crusted chicken. It. Was divine. I hadn't been able to eat that well since arriving to National Harbor but my stomachless self ate a really good portion of this. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy. You can taste the pecans. The cutlets (2) were very thin. I ate like 98% of the chicken The mustard sauce was delicious. The rice was yummy. The veggies were nice. I focused on the meat because while I don't eat seafood, I am a Tyrannosaurus rex. I got the crab on the side. My friends enjoyed it. I 100% recommend this dish. One friend got the filet mignon medium rare. She loved the sauce. She said the beef was perfectly tender. She said the asparagus and mashed potatoes on the side were perfect. Everyone else got the shellfish baked in parchment. These are the words they used to describe it (they knew they were dining with an Elite reviewer): Scrumptious! Unique! Good presentation! Tasty! Delicious! Enjoyable! Appetizing! 6 thumbs up. Dessert! Yep I'm not done yet. 3 shared a slice of the Triple Chocolate Decadence. It melted in their mouths. It crumbled under their forks like an earthquake of divinity. One other person got the coffee ice cream with butterscotch sauce. I think her eyes are still behind her head. If you wish to treat yourself when you are in the area this is the place. Look no further. Thanks for an amazing experience! And truly Edgardo is the best.

Yelp
My friends and I came for brunch on new year's day, and it was our first time after reading good reviews. Immediately upon entering, it seems like a nice place and we actually didn't get "warehouse" vibes at all. The staff were all very nice and the service was good. We all ordered something different: New Orleans French Toast, eggs any style, crab eggs benedict, steak and eggs, and the seafood omelet. For the most part, we were all enjoyed our meal just fine. Nothing was particularly outstanding but we were all happy with our entrees. The only one that seemed underwhelming was the steak and eggs. Pricing was reasonable for the Old Town area, so no major complaints there.

Terry P.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic experience. Food, service, ambiance all top notch. The quality and quantity of brunch was far greater than expected for the very reasonable price point. If we are ever visiting the area again we will definitely return.

Erika J.

Yelp
Came for my birthday with a large party. They sat us at 2 big table adjacent to each other. I ordered the surf and turf which I thought was ok. The filet was cooked great and tender. It lacked seasoning. The crabcake although it was definitely lump crab meat it also lacked seasoning. And the texture reminded me of the crab "mustard" you eat when you're eating while crabs and I'm not a fan of the mustard(poop). I would come back if invited but probably wouldn't suggest it. Also, parking is HORRIBLE. Ppl had to walk 10 mins from the closest parking spot /parking deck.

Sherise K.

Yelp
Gosh, the levels of excitement I had to try this place... Food We ordered the fried gator bites, shellfish baked in parchment, smothered catfish, and coconut tres leches cake. -Gator bite: tasty (my first time trying it), however the sauce with it was terrible. Thank goodness for the lemon slices. -Shellfish baked in parchment: ordinary, had to salt the veggies and potatoes and squeeze lemon over it. The shellfish was nothing spectacular either. -Coconut tres leches: it was dry. We were sorely disappointed! Perhaps we should try them for brunch and see how it goes.

Kelly M.

Yelp
What a thoroughly outstanding experience! I went with a group of 7 for brunch. The service was absolutely impeccable. The server even automatically separated our checks without us requesting it! I thought the entrees were a bit pricey until learning that entrees come with a free glass of champagne or strawberries and cream! The champagne was good, and we also got some great complimentary bread. The lobster cob salad was so great and very large. Everyone enjoyed their food and I hope to return again!

Laura T.

Yelp
This is a tourist trap. The service it should be said is excellent, but the food is absolutely horrible. The eggs must be powdered, otherwise I'm not sure how one achieves such a chalky, crumbly texture. For a New Orleans-style place, the burned, flavorless coffee is sad and the beignets were more oil than dough. The only thing we ate that was enjoyable was the strawberries and whipped cream. I hope the restaurant tries to improve the quality of ingredients and preparation because the staff were really lovely.

Lindsey O.

Yelp
Excellent service from Thuba - he is just the absolute friendliest and most joyful person ever and really elevated our dining experience. The she crab soup was tooooo diiiieeee forrrr, so so so good, but the service is really what sealed the deal on this spot. They have outdoor dining, great for Covid nervous nellies like me, and an extensive menu of fine dining. However, my mom and I had had a pretty big lunch and a longggg day, so we weren't that hungry, but still wanted a little something. We each ordered a bowl of the she crab soup. It was a perfect portion and just delicious in flavor. I'm a big fan of she crab soup, I get it anytime I see it on a menu (not often considering I live in New York) and this may be the best one I've had yet. Also - the bread and butter is great here. Amazing spot!

Shelise H.

Yelp
Nice people and good service - my dad loved the catfish!!! Thank you! Thank you! Loved the sauce cups!

Gc S.

Yelp
Terrible. Went for lunch and the food was really bad. All of the food tasted and looked like it had been waiting under a hot lamp for 30 min. The fried oysters were rubbery and there was just a small portion. Even the pickle served with the oysters looked wilted. The lobster salad was not much better with tough and wilted avocado. I will say there was a nice portion of lobster. The very worst was the peach cobbler. It tasted about a week old with a soggy crust. Horrible. Our server was not much better. Overall tourist trap.

G B.

Yelp
this place was very nice. staff was very friendly. its a little fancy for me though becuz i just wanted fries before i started back home. something small and not too filling. they were kinda puzzled by that but wutever. i tipped nice! fries were perfect. just had some ketchup and black pepper. i might go back again.

Alonzo M.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was great but the ambiance is so movie like . The Gator bite are good and the crab cake was delicious but the seafood pasta was excellent.

Trendy D.

Yelp
I booked a reservation two hours prior to and there was plenty of availability on the 4th of July weekend. We had a fairly nice seat close to the window on the lower floor. It was a party of two. First, I would like to start by saying I was really sad about the prices going up!! I used to come here all the time last summer and brunch was literally $13-17 and every entree came with champagne! Now prices for what I used to get is up to $21-30. Service, this spot prides it's self in quality food and service. The service started a bit slow, but picked up and was excellent the remainder of the brunch. Food, we ordered the She Crab soup, the pecan crusted chicken, and the smothered catfish. The entrees came with a complimentary salads. I called it brunch, but they only do brunch Saturday and Sundays. Tip: brunch menu is more expensive than the lunch menu (keep in mind the price increase) They can handle large parties of people, but make a reservation if that's the route you're going They don't do the complimentary champagne on weekdays with the purchase of an entree

Laura W.

Yelp
Wow-really can't believe I've never reviewed The Warehouse! Anyways.... I've been here many times, mostly for brunch, over the years, and I highly recommend it. The Bloody Mary here is absolutely hands down the best in Old Town. Very prominent in horseradish flavor. The menu is seafood heavy, including brunch. Entrees at brunch come with either strawberries and cream or strawberries and champagne. Most recently I had a special-the shrimp roll. Piled high with shrimp, lightly tossed in a creamy Mayo sauce on a toasted brioche bun. Very flavorful and summery. Service is always minimalist but fine. I enjoy the people watching sitting outdoors too. Definitely make sure to check out all the wall art on the inside too!

Janelle J.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant several times, always for brunch. The staff is always great. The atmosphere is great for a date, or an outing with friends. The food is always delicious, added bonus brunch entrees come with a complementary glass of sparkling wine. I also just learned you can request for your table bread to be toasted which makes it so much better.

Ralph M.

Yelp
Wife ordered Etouffee, I asked the waitress between smothered catfish w the same etoufee covering it or the trout and she said catifish. Once I realized it was literally the same thing, I asked to change (within 2 minutes) she said was already being cooked (obviously a lie because etoufee is made ahead of time) Food came out and was literally the same thing in two plates. Extremely pissed I didn't get to change my order. Was looking forward to eating here and will come back most likely to try my original choice. I fucked up. Bummed they did t switch for me.

Tre B.

Yelp
Gator bites, phenomenal. First time trying them and they where great! I assumed they would be chewy/ rubbery but they actually weren't.

Kalila W.

Yelp
Softshell season is back baby! Enjoyed the softshell Blt here. Crispy bacon, fresh tomato, and the crab itself was done perfectly. Fries were tasty too. Took home a key like cheesecake that was delicious. Service unenthused but prompt enough. Comfortable outdoor seating. Want to return for their smothered softshell crab. And maybe a couple of other things.. cuz i'm a sucker for a new orleans style menu.

Susan A.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch without a reservation. Was fortunate we were early enough so they were able to accommodate despite having what looked like a packed afternoon booking. Menu was fun, you get to choose either a strawberry mimosa or strawberry & cream with your entree. My party enjoyed the full experience, from the Eggs Hussarde (eggs benedict New Orleans Style), New Orleans French toast, smoked salmon eggs benedict, etc. Good table service and enjoyed the ambiance thoroughly. Appreciate being able to hear everyone speak (was not too loud) and fun times to be had by all.

Celeste P.

Yelp
Visited Old Town early Sunday before our flight back home and very few places were open so we chanced on Warehouse solely by luck! Really happy this was our last meal this trip, the decor is elegant, small flower arrangement on table and the brunch entrees included a flute of champagne. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict - my go-to brunch meal and they were delectable. My husband ordered the soft shell crab and said it was perfect! Didn't get dessert this time but will be back to The Warehouse on our next trip to Alexandria.

Kimber V.

Yelp
I loved my experience here. The staff was personable, friendly, and accommodating. The have brunch on Saturday and Sunday until 4 pm. I ordered the catfish with mixed vegetables. The fish was cooked perfectly. It was not overcooked nor was it greasy. The remoulade sauce was yummy. I also ordered a martini which was amazing. I share a calamari app that was delicious. And the other people in my party enjoyed their food and drinks too. The restaurant had a wall going up the steps with caricatures of famous people similar to The Palm. Several of them were three dimensional. The bathrooms are on the upper level which is on accessible by the steps. The upstairs dining area had a beautiful skylight. I'm definitely returning here. I even ordered the salmon dinner and kiwi cheesecake to go. Everything was exceptional.

Yelp
First time here and we loved it! The ambiance was real nice and intimate. The food was 10/10. Rosa our waitress was awesome!! We got the calamari and charbroiled oysters as an appetizer. Both great...now the oysters weren't like Dragos (my New Orleans ppl know) but they were close! We got the Trout Orleans and the New Orleans Smothered Catfish. The Trout entree was small and came with 2 pieces of asparagus and a little bit of potatoes. The Catfish entree was more than enough with two big pieces of catfish. We had the chocolate cake for dessert which was Very VERY rich and dense and small like a small slice of cheesecake. As we were leaving Rosa caught us and handed us a piece of bread pudding for an anniversary dessert! I would recommend. Again Rosa was amazing! Thanks Rosa!

Yelp
Fine dining at its best! The service was impeccable and the food was delicious with a cajun flare. There are not many plant-based options on the menu, but the kitchen is very, very accommodating. Space for large parties or event wedding parties. The character wall make for a great photo opportunities, especially If you're celebrating a special occasion. The warehouse is totally worth the try. #Enjoygoodpeople

Yelp
Refined atmosphere. Attentive and excellent service. Brunch was very good. The Eggs Benedict were average, but still very good. Will go back

Yelp
Went here on for a special night out with friends and was unfortunately extremely disappointed. Parking was meter street parking luckily we went early and found a spot. When we arrived the restaurant was very small but the staff was very nice and took us 20 min before our reservation. However, the host put us literally in a corner in the very back of the first floor next to a very loud party of 20 people. My partner had a hard time getting in and out of his seat, I felt so bad. Then, it starts to go even more downhill. We ordered our food and considering the prices being ($30-$50+) per plate we were hoping for being able to indulge in a nice fine dining experience. But, the food was a huge disappointment. I got the serried salmon which came with a very small scoop of mashed potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes looked old and something a buffet would serve along with literally 3 tiny pieces of asparagus. My partner got a chicken sandwich which was also very disappointing. Our guests that came with us even mentioned their meals were not good and the food just looked thrown together with way so much seasonings. I will not be going back here. I do not recommend it at all. This is why me and my partner never eat out anymore. It's just not worth it. Our bill was almost $200 for 4 people, it was such a waste and extremely embarrassing considering we were trying to impress our guests that came with us.

Yelp
It's hard to believe that this restaurant came recommended! Really? By whom, I wonder? Bottom line, your hard-earned money is better spent elsewhere. We ended up here because it was the only place able to accommodate five of us at the last minute. That, in itself, should speak volumes, shouldn't it? When I asked for dish recommendations, I was told everything is good - no specifics offered. Well, everything is not good. I had the Decatur Sandwich, which turned out to be exceptionally dry. Still, it wasn't as bad as my friend's meal, which arrived burnt to a crisp. Yikes indeed! We ordered dessert mainly to placate the restless wait staff who seemed overly concerned about us occupying space. The time was only 9:30, the restaurant was starting to empty out, and we weren't past closing time. Besides, our reservation was at 8 and no server attended to us until 8:15. As for the ice cream, it was completely frozen, with a distinct freezer-burned taste. We all tried it and were uniformly disappointed. I'm genuinely surprised by the high reviews this place has received, but it's no wonder we managed to get in without any wait time. Personally, I won't be returning. The food is below average, and the service makes you feel as though your presence is an inconvenience. For superior dining options in Old Town, I'd recommend Hank's, Mia's, or Virtue Food and Grain, among others.

Yelp
Highly recommend! It was my first time to the warehouse and I must say they did not disappoint. The location of the restaurant is typical for old town Alexandria so parking is either garage or street parking which we didn't have a issue finding. I really enjoyed the window seat that I was provided to be able to have the view of the street with the natural light was a wonderful vibe. The service was great from start to finish and the food was just as great. They do serve a complementary champagne which was a nice surprise. We ordered the gator bites, she crab soup, and the seafood omelette. Everything was phenomenal! If you're looking for a new seafood spot, definitely give these guys a try.
