The 17 Best Restaurants In Mammoth

"Inspired by the original name for Canyon Lodge (one of Mammoth Mountain’s ski lodges), The Warming Hut has a huge dog-friendly patio that’s perfectly placed on Old Mammoth Road for people-watching. While they’re open for lunch and dinner, the best time to come is for breakfast, which is served every day until 3pm and includes variations of hash, pancakes, and waffles. Or, use the D.I.Y. section to build your own perfect breakfast. Obviously, that’s a highly personal decision, but if you need some inspiration, we almost always end up ordering eggs over-easy with smoked brisket and house potatoes." - danielle bauter

My family & I stopped in for Happy Hour. Only the Happy Hour menu is available from 3 - 5 pm which was perfect for us. The restaurant has a rustic type feel. It was very warm & welcoming. Our waitress was very nice & helpful. They have a special Happy Hour menu which has a nice little variety. The prices were reasonable, especially for the area. We all enjoyed our food & we will definitely be back next time we visit the area.

We went here for dinner since we tried this spot back in 2021 for breakfast and loved it. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing from start to finish. I ordered the chicken biscuit appetizer, and it was awful. The waiter brought it out about three minutes after I ordered, it smelled bad and tasted even worse. The chicken tasted like it was microwaved straight from the freezer. I only took two bites before I couldn’t stomach any more. The burger looked decent at first, but the patty was dry and had a chewy texture, making it hard to tell if it was even fresh. The fries were greasy and floppy, no crunch at all, and tasted like they’d been refried multiple times in old oil. Even the homemade sauces couldn’t save it. The ketchup tasted off, and the BBQ sauce was watery and tasted like marinara sauce. Overall, it felt like cafeteria food at restaurant prices. I barely made it halfway through before giving up. Would not come back or recommend.

Google
Food is not good. Shared chicken and waffle between two people and we couldn't even finish. The chicken flavorless, no seasoning, and the waffle is kinda soggy and way to much baking soda to a point you can taste it in your mouth. Also had veg hash and again under seasoned and hash is soggy. Spent like $70 with this sad quality, wouldn't come back.

The pictures don’t portray how GOOD this place is! We come here every time we come to mammoth. I had the tomato bisque, it was so fresh and tasty. I order just a plain burger for entree and it is honestly the best burger I’ve had at a restaurant. The buns are fluffy and spongy and the meat tasty and fresh. Fries are home made and so is the ketchup. We have also ordered the Texan burger, it has brisket and the meat is so juicy and tender. Everything is cooked right here. Service great too.

This was a great place to visit while we were in Mammoth. The food was good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Laid back atmosphere. There was no wait, but we did arrive when dinner started at 5pm. People began arriving for dinner and the dining room began to fill up by 6pm. Even though it got busier, there was no change in the attentiveness of the staff! The Quinoa bowl was delicious, kids loved the burgers, and husband enjoyed his Ribeye Steak with Chimichurri.

Google
I called ahead to ask if patio was open to accommodate our party that had a dog and was told they could. Upon arrival a different time employee refused to let us eat on the patio and was very rude to us. It was sunny and we had been walking around town all morning but the 19 year old wanted to take it a step fuethwr and argue that we would be too cold. Thabks, but we didnt ask for your opinion. Wish we could have been accommodated because it smelled good on the inside.

Google
An amazing breakfast after time on the trails. Thanks to Erica for taking good care of us with excellent service. Food was plentiful, fresh, with lots of choices. Omelette and banana pancakes hit the spot! Thanks for a delicious meal!

Google
Our server was gracious and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the chicken sandwich and ahi salad. Oddly, what stood out more than anything was their homemade ketchup. It HUGS the fries. So tasty. It didn't taste like they put sugar in it. You don't need it. They should bottle that ketchup and sell it.

Yelp
From the moment you walk into The Warming Hut, you feel it -- warmth, comfort, and genuine hospitality. It truly feels like stepping into a family member's home in the best way possible. The cozy kitchen, homemade pies sitting out, fresh-squeezed orange juice, a glowing fireplace, and the Christmas tree this time of year all create such an inviting, welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality alone deserves praise -- we were greeted with such kindness, and the entire experience felt thoughtful and intentional from start to finish. For food, everything we ordered was perfection. I had the iron steak with mashed potatoes and green beans -- absolutely spot on. The kids' grilled cheese came with fresh fruit, which I really appreciated. We tried a few other dishes as well, and every single one hit the spot. The bar is also fantastic -- a great selection of wines and beers, plus some of the most delicious cocktails. Our waitress was amazing and even brought out her personal favorites to share with us -- you truly can't go wrong with anything here. We almost skipped dessert... and I am so glad we didn't. The warm blueberry pie with ice cream was unreal, and the brownie was just as incredible. Comfort dessert at its finest. We are so happy we stopped by and already can't wait to come back to try brunch. If you're in Mammoth, this place is an absolute must. Cozy, welcoming, and unforgettable.

Yelp
I am absolutely addicted to the Texan bbq sandwich! It is so darn good! Came here on a Tuesday afternoon, not too busy. Ordered an iced tea and a coffee, drinks were never refilled. Kinda bummed that the service from Ashley was so lack luster because the food, like I said, is delicious. We will definitely be back and hopefully I'll be able to give a 5 star!

Yelp
We came here for dinner. The food was super delicious after a long day of hiking. The vibes of the restaurant and the service were top tier. Super cozy atmosphere and the workers were super stoked and enthusiastic. Definitely try their hot sauce. My favorite was the red one. I loved the ribs, they were tender and fell off the bone. The buffalo wings were incredibly flavorful and had a positive unique taste to them! The brisket sandwich was fantastic and had such tender and flavorful brisket slices. To top it all off, the fries were fantastic. One of the more well made fries I've had in a while! 100% will come back again and again!

Yelp
Top marks for this spot. Be careful there can be a nice wait depending on when you get there. But it's definitely worth it. Take your time and walk around a bit, you'll need to work off your food anyway. I got an order of chilaquiles with a side of toast and bacon. The chorizo and salsa was incredible. Super flavorful and spicy. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. I demolished everything. Parking is very tight in their lot and can definitely get full. Place is smaller but has outside seating which you can take advantage of on a nice day.

Yelp
Cute breakfast spot that's dog friendly with good but maybe not amazing comfort food. We wanted a spot we could grab some breakfast that would allow dogs and found this spot. We came on a Sunday at 9 and it was just starting to get busy. 4 groups ahead of us but we got sat within 15 minutes or so. Nice servers and they check in pretty regularly so that was nice. We got the chilaquiles, chicken and waffles, and a half order of the biscuits and gravy. The chilaquiles has a nice kick of spice to it. I added chorizo which added a lot of oil which made the chips soggier which was a bit of a bummer but otherwise a good dish. The chicken and waffles were similarly solid. The chicken was pretty typical, well fried, decent seasoning, not dry. The waffles were fluffy and soft and prety tasty. The biscuits and gravy were also...good. A chunky gravy with lots of sausage. The biscuit was dry which was a bit of a bummer. I liked the outdoor space, nice area and they had dog bowls with water so they are actually dog friendly. All in all, a solid breakfast spot with good comfort food. Not the best but a place I would come back to.

Yelp
I was excited to try out this cute little place tucked away on the side streets of mammoth. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The service did take a bit of time but after our food came the servers checked in on my table often. The menu had lots to offer including all the usual suspects even mocktails. The food was okay, honestly nothing I would rave about. Portion sizes were good for the cost. Drinks were about the same. Caeser salad wasn't exactly what I've had before, unfortunately I wasn't a big fan.

Yelp
Seated fast. They allowed us to move easily to give a bit of space. We started with chips and salsa with fry rub wings. Both were great!! I got an Epic IPA great flavor i sense a bit of orange / happy Joey took care of us today and was amazing!!! Burgers are large and tasty, they even have r8ce based GF buns. The salad is topped well and the ranch is so very good! Love some good ranch! The flat iron steak is so good and the creamy mashed potatoes are very creamy and tasty. Our experience was very good. Joey was so dang friendly!! 2nd visit for me. Will return again and again

Yelp
This is a very cool cafe in Mammoth Lakes, nice mountain cafe vibe. The staff were very friendly, Joey was our server and was very attentive and friendly. My wife had the ABC grilled chicken sammie with sweet potato fries and loved both. I had the burger and fries and a cup of the broccoli cheddar soup. Burger was tasty and juicy. Star of the show were those fries! Best ever. Wasn't a big fan of the soup this time. All in all a great lunch and great vibe. Hope you'll give them a try.

Yelp
We got here for a late lunch. They seated us promptly and we requested a seat change out of the corner which they accommodated without issue. Once seated our server told us right away they were switching to Happy Hour Menu in 20 minutes to prep for dinner service so requested we place our order post haste. We were a group of 7 and had a variety of food items across the table. The food was pretty good all around. The rueben was spectacular. We were checked up on sufficiently and staff is great here. If it ain't obvious yet, we had a great experience here.

Yelp
Oh my... where to begin. First off I really wanted to like this restaurant. After mountain biking and hiking the hunger meter was high. I like to start with the positives so here it goes. Clean restaurant with nice ambiance. Friendly staff. And, that's it. On the "room for improvement" list: -- after we ordered and our food arrived we never saw our waiter again, until it was time to pay. No checking on us, if we liked the food ( we didn't - burying the lead) , or needed more to drink ( we did, even though the drink order was not filled properly to begin with ). Two of our party ordered the large prime rib dinners. One was close to the expected size, the other about two thirds the size - conveniently the size of the smaller order for a smaller price. Only we paid full / large size prices for both. We ordered medium rare for both. Nope. Well done is an understatement. No joke I move the table sawing through my not so prime rib. The edges were leathery and more like a jerky than a recently cooked piece of meat. We ordered rice with our rib, single scoop, toddler style. The whole thing came on a child's plate - presumably to make the whole thing look bigger. Now for my 10 year olds dinner. Chicken and broccoli. He tried to be polite but couldn't eat the chicken. Odd taste. Leaving it at that. Other food served was mediocre at best. My wife's salad was ok, but it's tough to mess up lettuce. And then the bill... yikes!!! $240. Was so pleased through added their own gratuity of 18% when we had close to zero service. A tip is meant to recognize, well, good service? Overall I am disappointed with the food in Mammoth and this was no exception. Go to Vons. Cheaper, better, and the service is nearly the same.

Yelp
Very nice staff that works hard to provide good service! Lunch and breakfast items available at 9:00 AM. Portions were ample and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Cute atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

Yelp
What a cozy lil spot that we stumbled upon in Mammoth. I went in on a Sunday, prime time for breakfast, and the wait was 30ish minutes. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a lot of menu items ranging from soups to hash skillets. They offer something for everyone. They even have a huge portion of the menu as a 'DIY' section which I loved! I ended up ordering an egg white omelette with tomatoes and a side of a biscuit. My boyfriend got a chocolate chip banana pancake with the Traditional Skillet. I was quite disappointed in the biscuit, I've had better elsewhere. The pancake was airy and fluffy with a generous amount of chocolate chips and bananas. The maple syrup was some of the best I've ever had. This was a 10/10 and I wish we had more! The Traditional Skillet came with potatoes, eggs your way, and corned beef. My boyfriend really enjoyed this but I couldn't help but notice all the leftover potatoes. Was he just full or were the potatoes not that good? The corned beef was made in house and delicious. I would order a side of this next time! Overall, the menu is large and there are a lot of things you can try. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service is just enough to go back. I would also like to try other menu items. A great stop when in Mammoth!

Yelp
We came here for dinner on a Sunday night. We didn't have reservations but they were able to seat us quickly. The interior feels cozy and welcoming. We ordered a mimosa, a local beer (Venusian blonde), the tomato bisque, the Cuban sandwich and the small cut of the prime rib. Really enjoyed the local beer, wanted to have the tomato soup first as I was hungry, but they served it together with the rest of the meal. No big deal. I really enjoyed the prime rib. Was cooked perfectly and together with the jus and horse radish combined for some amazing bites, only minor complaint would be that a lot of the cut was too fatty to eat. Veggies and potatoes were great. The Cuban sandwich was really good as well. Good ratio of beef to cheese and the corned beef was juicy. For desert we got the mixed berry pie, which didn't look great, but tasted amazing. Staff made sure we had everything we needed, quick with refills and checked in to see if we needed anything. Also not cheap, but one of the few restaurants in mammoth where I felt food quality matched the price.

Yelp
Could not ask for a better experience at The Warming Hut! Our server Gina was attentive and assisted us with the menu to make our drink selections. 10/10 on everything we tried and we will absolutely be back soon!

Yelp
There's a parking lot in the back. The food here is hearty and cozy. The staff here are very friendly. The food came out relatively quickly. - Chimichurri Ribeye: My favorite! The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and was a good amount of protein! The mashed potatoes were scrumptious. The green beans were ok. - The Texan: This brisket sandwich was saucy and delicious. The sweet potato fries were crispy with the side of ranch sauce. - Seared Ahi Salad: I really liked the salad, dressing, and crispy wontons. The ahi tuna was ok, it didn't taste that fresh. - Crispy Brussel Sprouts: Everyone on the table enjoyed this appetizer very much.

Food was great. Service was great. Will definitely be back. i'll let the photos get to talk.

Yelp
We really love this place for their food and service. They can be very busy during winter season and holidays. Flavors is on point and the techniques are what make this place so unique. This place represents the culinary forward of mammoth in the last few years.
google avatar

Grace A.

Yelp
Cold soggy "hash" and undercooked potatoes then topped with crunchy underripe avocado. I asked for two poached eggs... I think they were microwaved. The coffee was cold and flavorless. We ordered two whole grain pancakes for the kids, they tasted sour, not as in sourdough, more as in the batter had gone bad days ago and they served it anyway. Service was slow too. I would not coke back here.

Yelp
While visiting Mammoth we were craving some pancakes and of course this place popped up and it didn't disappoint one bit. The most delicious pancakes I've ever had, their maple syrup is to die for and you can even buy a bottle to take home. We had a party of 4 and we were sat right away. Their service was great, very attentive and fast and our food came out warm and fast. Their orange Juice is FRESH and hits the spot for sure. We had their hash, with a side of 1 pancake they are pretty big so you can share. We also had their Tomato Bisque soup and it was so yummy and vegan as well. All their breakfast options looked great. Can't wait to try their lunch and dinner menu. Love that they have a bar as well. A place where you can get it all. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this place but a solid 10/10 honestly. We loved it and can't wait to be back. They had a good amount of parking, bathrooms were small but clean and had a changing table if you have little ones. They also have a good size waiting room for those chilly days if you had to wait for a table. The ambiance was chill and love the feel of the place warm and cozy and great food!
google avatar

Yelp
Chilly? Cold? Freezing? Lukewarm? Your answer is the warming hut. And not only because it is actually warmer in there. But because it's warm AND they have great food and friendly service. We came here after a day of sport climbing and hot springs as one does in the Mammoth area. Having eaten nuts and bars for lunch (as one does in the Mammoth area), we needed a bigger filling meal. Warming hit delivered. I got a salad loaded with protein (much appreciated after using my muscles all day) and the boys got a fantastic looking sandwich and Caesar salad. Our drinks were refreshing, the food slapped, I truly have no complaints. And the service was truly fantastic. S/O warming hut for some solid end of day defrosting.

Yelp
We were here for a late lunch, came into the door 2:52 pm, the guy received us told us that we only have 8 mins to order from breakfast and lunch menu, and after 3pm, only happy hour menu. We rush to the table, immediately made the order, and the food was on the table in no time! My smoke salmon bagel taste great, except the raw onion. I can't take that. Daughter is way too hungry, she had prime rib sandwich and a chicken Cesar. Oh my god. So much food. We finished it by 3:23pm. Unbelievable!
google avatar

Yelp
We really liked this restaurant. The Warming Hut was full of friendly people, both the staff and regulars seemed very glad to be there. I had a Burger with swiss, that was very tasty, along with a bowl of extraordinary clam chowder. The portion sizes were just right, and the prices were pretty good. The inside was very clean and cozy, Will be going back, really loved it.
google avatar

Yelp
Normally just stop in for breakfast (which is always great) but popped in for dinner a few weeks ago and it was amazing!! cozy & good food. got the grilled cheese & tomato soup and fried chicken and waffles, would reorder both!
google avatar

Erica F.

Yelp
I came here for a late lunch after going to a hot spring. The name Warming Hut is true. It was very warm and cozy. This place was packed when I got here, and there was a short line. We were seated shortly. I asked for a hot water, but I believed our server forgot about it, and I did not get my water until we finished eating. We ordered a burger and soup of the day (French onion soup). The burger tasteless, fries were soggy with any seasoning, and the French onion soup does not have cheese on top. The soup was a bit watery too. I will probably not stop by again as there are other better options in the same area.
google avatar

Matt P.

Yelp
Decided to dine here before heading back home to LA. We had to wait about 30 minutes because it was a Sunday. While waiting, I noticed that they maple syrup for sale. So I decided to order the pancakes. Let me tell you, this was a big disappointment for sure. First off, the local maple syrup that they sell was also on this pancake. I know what maple syrup tasted like, this was straight up honey. The worse part of this dish was that the pancakes were undercooked as it was soggy in the middle. This is 2 strikes on them, so I will probably not come back here again as I don't see the appeal of this place when the food is just ok. I think there are better breakfast joints around town.
google avatar

Payton B.

Yelp
I was looking for a good double cheeseburger and found it. Took advantage of the $12 happy hr price +$2 for extra patty. Cooked perfect diner style, served with fresh green leaf lettuce and tomato slices. I went at start of happy hr (3:00) and place was mostly empty except for a few locals having a good time. I can honestly say that I loved Warming Hut's cheeseburger and laid back atmosphere, and I probably will be back.

Yelp
Wanted to try this place out for breakfast after seeing how many good reviews there were, but it was unfortunately quite underwhelming. We came on a Friday around 11 AM for a party of 2, and the wait was around 20 minutes. We ordered Eren's Chorizo Omelette w/Sweet Potato Fries and The Real McCoy Breakfast Sando. I guess the kitchen was really backed up that day because we waited almost 30 minutes for our food to come out, which was way too long in my opinion. The omelette was just okay. The chorizo wasn't mixed in the eggs like how it normally is and didn't taste right. The breakfast sando had a sausage that had an interesting taste, not your normal sausage, which made the sandwich alright. The place is pretty decently sized with indoor and outdoor seating. There are a good amount of waiting staff, so it wasn't an issue when we needed something. Maybe we went on an off day and ordered the wrong menu items, but I expected more.
google avatar

Khrystyna C.

Yelp
The wait staff was amazing. Checked on us often. Food came out fast. Food was sooooo good. Highly recommend. Simple open location for breakfast.

Yelp
The food is great but the staff is the highlight! So friendly and attentive. The blueberry pancakes are literally the best we have ever had This is our second visit in three days! Don't miss out if you are in Mammoth Lakes!!

Yelp
The Warming Hut is a popular spot in Mammoth. Based on the reviews the diner seemed promising. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed, to say the least. I ordered the chicken and biscuits, which were described as a deconstructed chicken pot pie. The gravy was delicious but the biscuits were just way too hard. As a result, I was only able to get through a third of the dish. The lake Mary mocktail was good though. Made with sparking water, pomegranate syrup, and lemon juice, the drink was pretty refreshing. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

Yelp
The Warming Hut is a busy restaurant, but it didn't take long to be seated. Good and hot coffee kept coming. Fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. The waffle was tasty but not hot. The Malibu Benedict was recommended, but a little disappointing as the tomatoes were not grilled as described. Also, the potatoes were not cooked to my liking, but the server was really pleasant and brought back perfectly crisp potatoes. Service was friendly and accommodating. The setting is cozy in a large cabin setting.

Jessica H.

Yelp
Visted here many times this July 2025. The gluten free pancake batter is delicious and one of the best I've had. My young daughter loves them as well. Other menu favorites in our family; Eggs Malibu, Patty melt (great French fries and homemade ketchup), Monday's taco special, Chicken n' biscuits, Espresso martini, and dont forget a slice of mixed berry pie a la mode! Service is always very friendly and fun. Great music selection and entertaining sports/ nature videos on the tvs. They also have some quality merch for purchase at the host stand. Check out my shirt!

Yelp
Amazing experience here!! Immediately fell in love with our waiter Joey! He made us feel so comfortable! He even sat and made airplanes with our kids and he even flew them with them outside. The food is amazing as well. What a special place!!

Yelp
This place is amazing. We were immediately greeted by super friendly staff. Great dog friendly patio. The food, I can't even describe how delicious everything was! We had the chilaquiles and added the daily special Birria to it. YUM. The Traditional Hash was also the best we've ever had. Now, let's talk about the buttermilk pancake and maple syrup. WOW. I'd go back just for the pancake. Be sure to stop in here and check it out. From the friendly staff, great service and amazingly flavorful food, you can't go wrong. We will certainly be back every chance we get.

Yelp
Breakfast is good!! I started my morning with a smile because of the delicious meal we had. We got the DIY breakfast-corned beef, potatoes, avocado, fruits (strawberries and blueberries) chicken and waffles plus americano and butter coffee (unique and yet tastes good!).

Yelp
The Warming Hut has been in Mammoth for a very long, which is hard for a town that thrives on mostly seasonal business. Every time I come to Mammoth, this place takes forever to get in, so I've never gone. That being said, I'm up here on my anniversary and we were lucky enough to get in without a wait and yes, we were not disappointed. The food was extremely quick and good quality. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. And the ambiance was warm, cozy, and overall inviting. I can understand now why the wait is so long, the place is tiny but super cozy!! They also open at 9 and have cocktails too! This may seem odd to hear since most people don't drink that early but when you get up at 330 to drive to Mammoth and you finally arrive then you want definitely want a cocktail. This place does not disappoint.
google avatar

Eric L.

Yelp
Amazing service, even better food. Every ingredient tasted so fresh. We ordered Chilaquiles w chorizo, Big Ben w poached eggs, tomato bisque, biscuits and gravy, and eggs Malibu. Homemade ketchup is phenomenal. The only thing I'd skip next time is the tomato bisque, but that was great too. Just needed some bread. Honestly best breakfast place I've had in a long time. Finished the meal with a waffle banger. Perfect level of sweetness. Best meal we've had in mammoth by far.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is the second time I have visited. I came here last year with my boyfriend. Both visits were excellent as far as food, service and ambience. Please don't miss this place out - an absolute gem.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh, and warm food! Service is amazing; always greeted with a smile! Their pancakes, waffles and Coffee ...are the BEST! Our Family special spot! The ambiance is great, and has a great bar area with special drinks!!

Yelp
Outstanding food no matter the time of day. Chicken and waffles and the Chicken ABC are out of this world. The staff are some of the best in Mammoth; Rich and Joey are one of a kind.

Yelp
This place is gross... dirty water pitchers and glasses. Tried both the tomato bisque and loaded potato soups, and they were both bad. Tomato soup has too much of something that ruins the flavor, and not one chunk of potato in the loaded potato soup. I wish we did not come here.

Yelp
We found this cool spot for breakfast and took a chance. We had excellent service, and the food and drinks were good. We would definitely come back here again. Nice cool atmosphere and we were not disappointed as it was a good experience overall. Parking lot is a bit small, and they do get busy but it's worth a small wait for some good food, drinks and service.

Yelp
Finding a line at 9am left me wondering if we'd ever get in, but this team is really on it and they know how to crush the rush! While the line wrapped the building, we only waited about 15 minutes to be seated in a cute corner of this log cabinesque building, which worked out perfectly. Rich immediately greeted us at the table and took drink orders. He brought those back quickly and got our food going too, and he was even chill about throwing a few additional sides on the ticket after we ordered. The whole experience was fun, friendly, and familiar. We really loved the service. My son had the banana split breakfast, which was actually wonderful. The yogurt was slightly sweetened, fruit fresh, and the sliced almonds added a great texture to it. Solid portion for the kids plate. I went with the chilaquiles because homemade chorizo, salsa and tortilla chips obviously. The salsas really hit, with the red being a little spicy and the green nice and tart. Eggs were perfect over easy too and that chorizo... get it. You won't regret it! Wifey had a Vegg Head scramble. I didn't taste it because I like breakfast with protein, but she enjoyed it. My other son had the chocolate chip waffle, and I must say, that is one delightful waffle! Seriously. This is a stop you need to make in Mammoth. They also have lunch and dinner too!

Yelp
Great ambiance and the staff was super nice and attentive. The wait wasn't bad, about 5-10 minutes both times we went while we were in town for a mountain bike race for my son. We had the Benedict hash the first morning and then the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Food was cooked great and they use a local coffee company for their coffee which was really good as I like my coffee black, so that was a plus. Dogs were allowed on the outside patio which was cool.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience at the Warming Hut. The staff were friendly and service was fast. They brought drinks we ordered before the wait staff left our table! I enjoyed a good burger and the soup of the day. The apple pie a la mode is delicious.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time on our recent trip to Mammoth and I'm sad we didn't find it sooner! Best food we've had in Mammoth by far! Such a cute spot, great friendly service and staff, and the best from scratch food. This will be a new must visit spot for us on future Mammoth trips!
