"The Warren is always there to fill our cravings after concerts, performances, and sporting events with a kitchen that stays open until midnight (a rare find in a town where it’s hard to get a good bite after 10 p.m.) and a bar open nightly till 2 a.m. You’ll find a selection of well-made, globally influenced pub grub as well as fresh fish and sushi dishes from business partners Penn Ave. Fish Co. The terrific bartenders seamlessly straddle high-volume and more elaborate cocktail styles and offer terrific beer and wine lists. The new sidebar, E.T.A. is a Japanese-style standing bar with an ace highball and cocktail list; the vinyl record playlist offers a significantly more chill atmosphere than its raucous neighbor." - Melissa McCart, Hal B. "The Warren offers a casual environment with handcrafted cocktails alongside shared plates, bowls, and sandwiches that lean pan-Asian. Cocktail enthusiast Spencer Warren, who previously opened Embury in the Strip District’s Firehouse Lounge, landed this gem in the heart of the cultural district in 2018. Patrons have flocked to the bar ever since for speakeasy vibes, made-to-order sushi, and Penn Cove Bottle Shop, the restaurant’s outlet for wine and beer next door." - Briana L White

The drinks were good, but the food was great! The waitress was constantly checking on us, and made sure we had a good time. Would definitely recommend.

I had the Boston Roll, a glass of Prosecco and the pistachio baklava (dessert💕). Service was impeccable, food was superb. I sat outside and it was not bad but no barrier between the tables and the sidewalk and street. But seriously, not a bug deal the sushi was totally worth it!

Street level of the Clark Building hides one of the best cosmopolitan cocktails in Pittsburgh. Bartender Michael served a hazy pink cloudy cosmopolitan in a vintage crystal glass that was so delicious I had to order a second. Fresh strained lime juice and vigorously shaken. Pure happy hour perfection. I had a California roll with added cream cheese that was ok. I disliked the "seat yourself" atmosphere during the rush hour crowd. But all was forgiven once I was poured my pink cosmopolitan. I suggest stopping by for a drink during your next Pittsburgh outing.

If I lived in Pittsburgh, the Warren would be my go-to bar. The vibe is distinctly millennial, from the emphasis on bourbon to the selection of music (alt rock, so I knew the lyrics to pretty much every song). The sushi is shockingly good for a bar that looks like you should veer towards "pub grub". The staples like flatbreads are solid options though. Portions are generous but not ridiculous. Beyond bourbon, you'll find a wide enough array of beer; I like to see local craft breweries represented so well. Whether you're in a nice suit or a cozy sweater, you won't feel out of place. It's the popular kind of spot that's busy even on a random wintry Tuesday night so expect service to be a bit slower than you might expect. Still, major ups to Johnnie, who brought our food and drinks as fast as the kitchen and bar could make them. She gave nice recs for the rest of our time here as well.

Not too many places where you can find Sushi and Poutin on the same menu, so I needed to order both. The Poutin and Spicy Senorita Roll were delicious and service was top knotch. They also offer a full variety of specialty drinks.

Server Angela was an absolute rockstar! Thank you! We came and the food, vibe and drinks were exactly what we needed to close out our downtown late night tour! We stopped in close to kitchen closing time and they were super accommodating and allowed us to place our orders and the food was not bad. We ordered an array of a few food and drink options that satisfied the late night bite. We selected seats near the inside but near the street on a Friday night and had great conversation and enjoyed the music and night breeze. We ordered wings, crab dip, fries, tots and drinks.

Great place! One of the few open late (2am) major plus! Excellent drinks and cocktails. The food looked great too, but we only had drinks.. Service is flawless. If anything inside booths are a bit uncomfortable or restrained ( bumping knees, lol). But outside seating or inside standing is great. This is a small, cozy, welcoming bar with great music and a guaranteed good time.

We visited this place after seeing a concert in town. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. She provided great service. When we asked her what to visit while in town, she deferred us to another waiter who was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great conversation with him. Food was good and drinks were good. We ended up leaving early because while I visited the restroom, someone approached my husband asking for "a blessing" which he inferred as him asking for money or food. The waiter told the man to leave him alone. They ended up comping our drinks for this experience without us asking.
