"The Washington House Restaurant is the ideal dining spot for dinner before a show at the Sellersville Theater next door or as a special evening out all on its own. Order one or more of the restaurant’s unique limited-time starters to share — tempting prior specials included the crispy potatoes with cotija cheese and smoked paprika aioli and sesame crusted nardello peppers served with chile aioli. Follow these first course dishes with generous entree portions of butternut squash and ricotta ravioli, filet of beef, and crab and shrimp cakes." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

I’d highly recommend this restaurant — they went above and beyond for my mother’s birthday. The manager personally offered to print a custom menu with a special birthday message and provided a complimentary dessert. I’ve never experienced that level of thoughtfulness from a restaurant before. The setting is a beautiful, historic gem, the food was incredible and surprisingly affordable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. A wonderful experience from start to finish! We will definitely be back.

In a world where identical-looking hotels can be found on the edges of industrial parks from coast to coast, this glorious old-fashioned hotel is worth a special trip. I stayed there on my way through from Minnesota, and now my wife and I are already talking about finding a way of coming here again to spend a couple of nights in these grand surroundings. My room is beautifully furnished and lavishly equipped. The restaurant downstairs is extraordinary as well. The kind and attentive staff made me feel like a valued guest. Musicians with national reputations perform next door at the Sellersville Theater.

We stayed at the Washington House Hotel overnight when we attended a show at the Sellersville Theater. We arrived a little early (45 min). The lady who checked us in (Olivia) could not have been nicer! She showed us to our room and gave us a quick tour. |We unpacked and went down to their restaurant for dinner. We opted for the room/dinner package ($50 off your dinner bill). The service (Ellie) was top notch, and the food was very good! After a short walk, we enjoyed the show at Sellersville Theater.|Then, back to the hotel for the night. Next morning we packed up and went back to the restaurant for breakfast. You fill out a request form for your choices for breakfast and leave it outside your door the night before. The service, again, was top notch!|The hotel was very nice, there were complimentary treats in the lobby, parking was free and close by, and the hotel people were wonderful!

The WASHINGTON HOUSE is always a great destination and my consistent night out restaurant. Jess, the bartender, as well as Ellie and Natalie always provide the best service. If you are eating in the dining room, their long standing server, Gabby, is the best and bussers Hannah, Brooke and Isabel are well timed and charming. Cindy is great as manager and Corey does incredible wizardry in the kitchen. The bone-in (airline style) chicken never disappoints and there is always an amazing soup of the day

We have been to the Washington House Restaurant a few times before while visiting family in the area. This time we booked a room in the hotel as well.|The accommodations were very nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful.|The bar and restaurant have an intimate," old time " ambiance. The dinner service was|excellent and the food was well prepared and presented, except for a bit too much|salt seasoning in my Beef Tenderloin. To sum it up, our one night stay was very enjoyable and extremely convenient. Our breakfast order was submitted the evening before, and was waiting for us at a reserved time and table the next morning.|Great service!

Dark wood bar with eclictic, hip music; expansive dining rooms in a cozy historic building; friendly service from experienced staff; delicious quality drinks with top shelf liquor; fantastic creative seasonal food cooked to crispy, mouth-watering perfection every time. All at an amazingly reasonable price, for the current economy. There are few establishments in the world as welcoming, consistent, and satisfying as The Washington House, but this one is in the heart of Bucks County, a short drive away (luckily for me) and so many other southeastern PA residents, but well worth the travel from much, much further, for those with wandering, craving spirit. Come for dinner and drinks before a world class show at their adjoining theater, or just a special occasion Sunday brunch with friends. For 40+ years, it's been an anchor for the small town of Sellersville, and hopefully will for 40+ more. Airline chicken entree, pate appetizer, pozole soup, or just warm fresh baked rolls and butter- you literally can't go wrong. Walk in and become friends- eat, drink, and live, at THE WASHINGTON HOUSE!

Was in the area for work and this was the most convenient location. This place was an amazing find. The room was perfect, very clean and comfortable, staff were always attentive, food was amazing and Happy Hour is not to be missed, amazing appetizers and food. The whole place does everything to a high standard. Will stay again.

We've dined here twice now before shows at the Sellersville Theater. 5 stars in every way both times. From our latest meal: I had a split pea soup at the Washington House last night that was absolute perfection. It was light and creamy and perfectly seasoned. It had crab in it, which normally I'm not a fan of, but it was perfect. It had a little arugula on top, which sounds weird, but it was perfect. I've had great soup before, but never so simple and so incredibly fine tuned. Work of art. "Yes Chef!"
