So glad we found this little gem! Outstanding dive bar. Awesome bartenders and very friendly people who frequent. Has indoor and outdoor area, lots of tvs for games, pool tables, darts, and everything you'd want from a local bar. Highly recommend and we'll continue to support.

Yes it's 100% dive bar but that's what great about it. Strong reasonably priced drinks, patrons from all walks life who check their egos at the door and are welcoming and friendly. And bartender Wendie; she is the reason I felt comfortable going there by myself years ago (very welcoming) and keep coming back. Pictured are a Sangria, Bailey's Vanilla Mint, and a Dirty Martini. Nicer inside than I thought. Good dive bar with only microwave food options. One bartender/server so you have to be patient when multiple people are ordering drinks. I would give it a higher rating if I lived closer and it was a convenient dive bar but it's a drive for me. Nothing exciting either to make me want to go back yet nothing that would discourage me either if someone invited me again.

We had a great time at WellBar on October 4, 2025 I had so much fun we returned on October 7. When we started the I order Wendy who wasn’t even our bartender the first time. She loudly confronted us in front of everyone about our previous tab which was a complete misunderstanding. She was loud to where another customer said he would pay our tab, so we thought it was already taken care of. When we found out it wasn’t, we immediately payed with no hesitation at all. We were the only African American customers the first times, but second visit, we were clearly singled out to the previous visit . Wendy asked if we were “the ones here with that other group and we said yes “and then raised her voice so loudly that her coworker, Kevin, came out to see what was going on. It was humiliating even other people in the bar felt bad for us. One gentleman even offered to pay our tab himself, but we told him we would take care of it. Several customers said Wendy acts like this often and questioned why she’s still there. To make things worse, we were overcharged four shots, one beer, and a pizza came to $84. The pizza was dry and tasted like it had been microwaved. One of my shots was barely filled, while the woman next to me got almost double the amount. She even said, “OMG, I have more than you!” We both noticed and laughed in disbelief. Furthermore, she told her friend and her friend threatened me. I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and discriminated against. I will not be returning. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect, fairness, and professionalism.

Open from 6am - 2am! Affordable drinks, awesome bartenders and huge Oregon Ducks bar! They really go all out on the weekends. Fun patio with misters, fireplaces and heaters for the winter and tons of games

Just a cool old dive bar. It's a locals favorite, and just has a cool vibe to it. We both had bottled beer, and they were cold as ice. The bartender was really friendly and the locals were cool

The bar changed since security and bartenders changed. The vibe is not the same. Double charge you. Service is slow. Aaron aggressive to females. There’s plenty of other places to go to with better vibe.

OMFG. A classic neighborhood bar. Cassandra is beyond amazing. The regulars are amazing. Everyone is down-to-earth. I'm a Denver guy. This is The Brown Barrel X Shelby's X My Brother's Bar X Lil Devils. A top-shelf bar. Amazing.

A true gem hole in the wall. Stop in for a cold one, enjoy the view on their patio that had plenty of seating and great shade. Inside was full of cool decor, music, darts, a pool table and other games. They have a daily "power hour" that offers excellent drink specials.

Came in because I've met the night crew several times at my business and they're really nice people. I had nothing to do and really was in the mood to watch some sports with some food so I headed over. Walking in there are plenty of TV's all over, dark lighting, and a bar area up front. They have a pool table which is great because I love to play along with other games like darts. I actually don't drink but I like to enjoy a mock michelada still. The service was great and everyone was friendly and didn't make it weird that I was ordering something non alcoholic. I enjoyed my time here and will probably pop over more often to say hi to my friends in the night crew.

Love this place. They sometimes have someone grilling on the patio, food is amazing! Besides that, it's your neighborhood dive bar that has affordable drinks, awesome bartenders and is an Oregon Ducks bar!

This is a great spot. Here for spring training. Our Uber driver suggested we hang out here. The locals are all super kind and engaging. And Wendy, the bartender is A+. Be sure to stop by when you're here.

Love going to the Well Bar!!! Our favorite bartenders are Celeste and Kevin! Sarah during the day time on Saturday too....if we are there early enough. Company is good, drinks are a hell of a lot cheaper than Old Town and taste like they actually have alcohol in them!! John the owner is usually there if you are there early enough. Sometimes there is a food truck as well when it is Oregon game day!!! Big time Oregon bar! It's our favorite place to go!

I moved here from upstate NY so chill dive bars are all I knew. This place felt like home. The bartenders are usually very friendly, with one girl being the exception. The pizza nights are always good, mini pizzas. Cool pinball machine, darts, etc. nice patio area to smoke or just breathe. I love this place and can't wait to go back!

Great food and atmosphere. Friendly wait staff, overall good place to go to grab a drink a a bite to eat. It's a popular place so parking can be a bit of a challenge.

John and team went the extra mile to get an EPL game on tv for us. Very cool move and it was a great spot overall. Will definitely be back.

This BAR IS AWESOME! I googled - cool bars..after my Cholla trail hike... and went straight to have a cold beer... the place was super dive and people talk to strangers. Made me feel very comfortable considering I came alone. Bar tenders were both super nice n friendly. Thank you Well Bar. When I come back to Scottsdale I'll make sure I come back here! Thank you

This place is awesome. Total dive bar with cheap drinks, friendly staff, games, and Oregon Ducks memorabilia. Really loved the patio and could see it being a nice spot to bring the lady

Wendy was an awesome bartender, extremely accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Great price on beers, the tunes were just what we were looking for. We're visiting for 5 days but this will be the go-to starting location each night. This is a fantastic spot!

I always have a good time here and the dark cold atmosphere is great and of course the drinks. Sarah is such a good bartender she caters to everyone's needs and makes you want to come back.!

i went on Saturday at a pretty busy time. Sarah the bartender kept my drinks full and had us laughing and having a good time . The other bartender helping wasn't nearly as friendly. I'll be back soon!

I like this little dive bar! Bartenders are nice. Laid back they have pool tables, darts and a patio. Nothing fancy here, just a low key spot to chill. I have never ate here so not sure of the food!

Great place to hangout with friends! We came in on a great day, they had food out back and everyone working was so great. I recommend to anyone trying to get a drink and staying lowkey.

the only thing the owner has "hit" me with is an affordable bill after drinking all morning great prices, animal friendly and incredible atmosphere i moved 30 minutes away and still drive here to see the incredible staff and regulars power hour from 10-11am ($3 beers, $4 wells, $5 you call it's)

The Well is an ok dive bar. $3 domestics, most of the staff is friendly, decent crowd. Been there probably a dozen times, usually with my wife, and I'd give it 4 stars based on those. We love a dive bar. But oh man, they had an off work bartender who was WASTED in there today, kinda trying (to help I guess?) to work but mostly just belligerent. The bartender who was actually working (and was perfectly nice) put the UFC on ESPN a TV for me, and I was watching for a half hour or so. The WASTED off work bartender got there later and didn't like watching the UFC, went behind the bar (is that ok?) and changed the channel herself. I said nicely I was watching that, and things quickly dissolved into her trying to fight me in the parking lot. Not kidding, she asked if I wanted to take it outside. I'm just kinda hanging out on corner, drinking Ultras, minding my own business. She wants a fist fight. This is all around 6:30 PM on a Saturday. I do appreciate the irony of not wanting to watch some fights on ESPN but wanting to fight me outside, though. She's not working, just kicking people out wasted and telling people what to watch. She said I'm 86'd but I'm not entirely how that works when the gal is drunk and not even working. Anyway, I don't want to give them 1 star, that's not fair to the business as usually it's OK, but holy cow Well get your house in order. Not coming back. She did say said there are a million bars close by and to go there, so technically she's correct. Great marketing!

Sarah was wonderful this evening with personable and quick service. She has been a great addition to the well bar team.

To miss Lynndsie who felt she needed to make a review to comment on my review. Mind your business. None of us even sat the bar AND we were playing pool and darts well so get your story straight about the right people. I wasn't even mad she cut me off. I was like whatever and closed out my tab because we were going to the next bar anyways. Which we did with no problem or issues. I even told the bartenders we got cut off at well bar and they were shocked. This was the start of our day and was no way hammered after two drinks and a shot. You also say we got cut off at another bar which is a lie because I did not and was out doing just fine until 10 pm. You all clearly complained about the wrong people or you are friends with her. I only got mad at Sarah the bartender when she told me to tell my friend was a bitch for her shitty tip. Yeah that's professional! I know people who drink there all day and night stumble out and have seen people doing drugs in the bathroom. But ok we were the problem after two drinks! Get a clue!

Dive bar. I love my dive bars. There are a number of regulars who frequent the place that I enjoy sitting down with and saying hellos to. The drinks aren't too expensive, I suppose depending on what you're drinking. I like the fancy beers and I could easily grab em cheaper from the corner store but then I'd not get a chance to see the few I enjoy seeing. Not a place to expect all fancy, sometimes smells a bit like urine right outside of the bathrooms, so I don't sit close by. There is a pool table, darts, jukebox and a patio that somehow manages to stay tolerable in the heat. I like the bartenders, they all have their own personalities and deal with a bunch from patrons. We all have our days and I think they do a good job holding the place down. One night from another, you really never know what you're going to get. Did I mention, it's a dive bar... My favorite type of place. I can likely dress to the 9s or simply head over in sweats and a tee... either way, I know the beer will be cold.

I actually really love this bar. Spent a lot of money here. Great service until the end of the night when I left and a young good looking guy grabbed my arm (instead of confronting me) and told me to get the hell out of the bar. Can we all realize- I was drunk like most the patrons and exited the bar with my drink in hand, oops. I went back in and asked if I could sip down the last two sips and he told me to get out. I felt really belittled and talked down upon. Bummer because I really like this place. Hopefully I'll be back. Derrick, learn proper customer service. DUH.

GUYS THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM! If you like friendly unpretentious people in a quintessential dive bar atmosphere, this is your place. Jams on the jukebox, friendly regulars, and even nicer down to earth bartenders. (bonus-the dog regulars are also very cute.) I love a good dive bar and I stopped in on a whim. Don't let the old pizza hut exterior fool you, this place has it all. Even food that kicks it back to my latch-kid key past, such as hot pockets, giant pickles, Pizza, and of course your variety of Cheetos and chips. Out of town and want a shot from where you're from? No problem, even if they aren't sure how to make it, they'll do it custom (with some help) and maybe even add it to their repertoire. Great little spot!

My wife and I have been coming here for years and love it. All the bartenders are friendly. Great vibes, everyone is welcome here and hate is not tolerated. Love this place and love the people who come here. Strong drinks and good people, what more could you ask for. Well Bar is the playground all grownups need.

This place is my kind of bar. I knew it when I drove past it on the way to my hotel. The second time I drove past it I knew I had to make a stop and check it out. It is a small bar and has a medium sized patio with lots of picnic style high top bar tables. There is one pool table and a dart board if games are your thing. The music they had playing was all my favorites. Was very happy with the music selection of either the bartender or the patrons. Wasn't sure who was putting on the tunes. My favorite thing was that the patrons of this place are very friendly. I came here by myself and left with a few friends. Two of them also frequent my favorite bars in San Diego and Cardiff. So if I didn't knew I belonged here before I know it now. Since I'm in Scottsdale quite frequently I now know the bar I will be chilling at when I'm in town.

Classic Dive Bar and a great spot to spend the day out of the heat drinking and eating with friends. Owner is great guy ! Bartenders and servers are all friendly and we had an amazing time ! 14 guys. 50th Birthday with all Chicago guys. Place welcomed us with open arms. We drank. We were loud. We had a blast and they loved it. Stop in to see them !! You'll have a blast.

The woman bartender with the braces, extremely judgmental and disrespectful, can't miss her. Extremely dissatisfied with her attitude and customer service. Some of the others said they caught her doing drugs in the bathroom too. Never will get business from myself or friends. Don't bother hanging out here, make the trip elsewhere.

A sports bar... A casual bar.. The Well Bar... home of cheap day drinking during 'power hour' and the Oregon Ducks. Morning Power Hour runs from 10am to 11am everyday and afternoon Power Hour weekdays from 3pm to 4pm. $1 Well drinks and $2 imports and premium drinks. Great place to watch games (especially the Ducks) or play pinball, darts and pool. It has friendly bar staff and friendly regulars. Come in and meet a few.

Decided to check this place out and it's totally a dive bar which I love! From the looks of it has good clientele and reasonable drink prices. BUT my complaint about this place is the men's restroom it seems these lazy drunk sobs piss on the walls and/or floors because it wreaks of piss!! It seems a dog or cat or both plus human pissed all over that restroom! Hot damn, no bueno. BUT I'll be back. ;-) P.s. we came back Sunday and the female bartender was bitchy, someone needs to put her on check! She was rude, especially when we asked her about the jar pickles, she looked at us like we had a 3rd eye!

Went into the Well Bar with 3 friends and had the worst absolute experience that I have ever received at an establishment. My friends were sitting at the bar and I was standing behind them having a drink when someone left the bar and the door remained propped open. My friends looked at me to take care of it since I was standing and I proceeded to walk over to the door and close it. Granted to do so I had to stand at the door and move a rock which was propping the door. Keep in mind this is AZ where 115 degree heat was blowing into the bar. As I walked bar over to the bar, the tall male bartender which referred to himself as the manager started to yell at me for leaving the bar with my drink. The bar is loud so as I was trying to explain I was simply looking out for everyone included the bar owners A/C bill and closing the door, he accused me of lying to him and wanted me to leave. As my friends were there also I told him there is a misunderstanding and tried to explain, as my one friend also said there is a misunderstanding and started to laugh because it was so outrageous. The manager then said to my friend, "You think this is funny, you outta here too" He was shocked that he wasn't allowed to have a laugh in a bar. As we went outside and explained to the doorman, which was super nice the situation, he still said we had to go. At that point the bartender came out to talk to me and I tried to state my case one more time but he didn't care. Then to make matters even worse as I said I needed to close my tab, another man wearing a cowboy hat got in my face and said I had to leave. I told him to get outta my face and he said he worked there also and proceeded to get in my face and told me to leave. I said back off, he then proceeded to say "What am I going to do about it" I told the individual "Nothing and that I just want him to get outta my face" They brought my tab and made sure I left.

Dive bar alert! And I mean that in the grandest of ways! PBR that is colder than my ex-wife's heart! Tell the amazing and super HOTT bar maiden Wendy to fire you up one of her "almost" hand made pizzas! Delish! Just be warned: Phil has herpies according to the bathroom wall!

I've driven by this place a million times and decided to stop in for a beer. It was mid-afternoon and a few guys were at the bar but the rest of the place was pretty empty. Since they purport to be an Oregon bar they had some beer from Deschutes which was a good sign. I like me some Fresh Squeezed. The music being played was pretty good as well. I'll definitely be back from time to time.

I'm giving the Well Bar a one star rating because a zero star rating doesn't exist. I was in recently and witnessed an incident with Derrik, the bartender, as he behaved inappropriately toward several guests. When he received a complaint from a patron at the bar, he refused to investigate the complaint, but instead told the young women that she was out of control. No sir! It was you that acted so poorly. Your customer simply wanted to understand her bill and you escalated the situation. To make things worse, Derrik called the police in an effort to show everyone he was the boss. What started as a nice evening, ended as a disaster due to the ego of one bartender. Fortunately, all charges were dropped, but what a waste of the police officers time! We won't be going back. I do not ever recommend anyone go there !

Fun local dive bar. Nice patio. A great but small selection of bar games. All in all, solid customer service to catch a good time. Cheers!

Sign up for their text service and get a 1 cent beer. Loud obnoxious locals and dirty hot areas to drink. What more can a person want? On Sundays you can ride your beach cruiser there for additional savings, You may not get home alive but your bike will likely be there the next day.

Go to this bar.... Can't stress it enough. You like fun little dive bars with cheap drinks ... This is your new favorite spot. They got super friendly and super knollwedgable bartenders one of my favorites in town is derrick ! Also super nice and fun to talk to ! Plus go during their power hours for the cheapest drinks youve ever seen. They have a friendly crowd , good selection and some darts and pool.

The bartender was super nice! My husband and I biked here last night, it was super humid / hot on the inside and darker than most bars. The misters outside were super nice, they have two TVs outside as well. Definitely a good place to come hangout with friends and watch a game.
