The West Egg

Fabulous discovery! My son went for a bike ride with his girlfriend, and one of the bikes broke its chain. He set out to find a repair shop, and while he did find one, it opened an hour later. So he looked for a place to have breakfast, and voila! He discovered this beautiful, peaceful spot with excellent service and fabulous food! I highly recommend it if you're visiting San Agustín and looking for a quiet place with parking.

Cute little local spot if you want to get off the strip and dive into some great home-cooked food. Owner Mari is not only delightful to talk to, but makes a delicious steak burrito. Fast, fresh, filling and affordable. Open Daily from 8-12 Wed-Sunday. Certainly going to be one of our “must visit” spots next trip to St Augustine.

I never go out of my way to write a review, but this place deserves 5 stars. My hubby and I’s food was simply delicious, fresh to order, and the service was top tier. They go above and beyond. We will gladly be returning!

Such a great hidden gem! We drove right past it looking for breakfast but after seeing the lines at other restaurants we came back and so glad we did. Great biscuits breakfast sandwiches I will post pictures. I think we will definitely stop by again tomorrow on our way out of town. The staff were friendly and the food was great. Not much seating but seen most people were taking food to go.

My love and I enjoyed breakfast at The West Egg. We primarily chose to go there based on the great reviews and the fact that they had keto options. The service was wonderful. The woman who took our order and brought our food out was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious. Seating is limited so we knew there was a possibility that we would get it to go if necessary. We were happy to sit right outside. The reviews were correct!

The first thing I want to say is I am so glad we found this restaurant the new owners to be are Mari & Colton everything there is made fresh that morning it's absolutely delicious and it won't break your wallet and you will meet the friendliest people there including the owners and the cook is awesome all I say is if you miss going here you've missed the best breakfast in Augustine highly recommended by a your man Fast Eddie And as you know by my feedback I only post the best and I can guarantee you within a year of taking over best place for me to double the size they are such hard workers and so friendly God is truly blessed them and their children we will be back to see you very much empress does Eduardo Cuenca and my wife Lynne Cuenca ❤️🌹🙏🏻😎

My husband and I just moved to SA in June and found this small breakfast spot. We fell in love right away. The food is amazing. Prices are the best we’ve seen compared to most restaurants in town. The only thing I wish was different….is that they could be open all week. (Fingers crossed for maybe one day) We love coming in! 10/10 recommend to everyone

First time coming here and from the service to the food was amazing! Would definitely come back to try their other menu items. Their biscuits are made fresh daily and tastes amazing. Best coffee I’ve ever had.
