Steven is the best like he is the first bartender that make a great drinks (complex drinks) for my trip at the gay bar.

Went there for Friday Happy Hour and had a great time. Friendly staff, great drinks and good looking men. Used to go to tired, old Tropics but I now see why I can see why West End is doing so well.

The best gay bar in Wilton Manors. A fabulous vibe with comfortable seating and great cocktails. Prices are reasonable with a great happy hour. Outdoor seating available. Live music several times a week. The owners Chris and Gabriel are usually there and are very welcoming. If you go to Wilton Manors you have to stop by. You won't be disappointed.

Best service, drinks and atmosphere on the Drive! This is a great place to relax and enjoy amazing drinks 🍸. The West End Lounge is sumptuous and you are surrounded by beautiful decor. The staff is fantastic with a big kudos for Jorge who ensures your every need is met. I highly recommend this bar.

My partner and I had a blast at this bar. It's super clean and looks amazing. The drinks and hospitality totally blew us away! We're definitely coming back next time we're in Lauderdale, this place seriously stands out from the rest. The staff are awesome and always happy, so the vibes are just incredible—seriously the best, no doubt about it! Brandon is a sweetheart and made sure we had an unforgettable experience! He and Alex, who's also super nice, made us "old fashioneds" that were so good they're now our number one—definitely the best we've ever had. If you want to grab some drinks where the staff genuinely care about their customers and want drinks made with love and experience, you gotta check this place out. Nice place most staff & bartenders there are friendly. Enjoy the drinks. Only downfall is if you get there before they open with a line out the door and hoping to get a chair at the bar you will find when entering there are about 5-6 chairs at bar with glasses of water that are reserved for there old crowd. Should be first come 1st serve basis if you can't get there early to get a chair then your out of luck and should not reserve. No bar should be doing this and it lost my interest in going and don't go as much as I use to.

Absolutely delighted after visiting The West End Lounge; would definitely return whenever I'm in the area. Plenty of seating and various types. The lighting is moody enough, but not too dark that you can't see what you're drinking or who you're talking to. The staff was very helpful explaining drinks and ensuring quick service despite the busy crowd. Just a lovely experience overall!

Such a great corner lot, piano bar. The staff is wonderful, Patrick the bartender is phenomenal. The ambiance is great, very speak easy style but not overly pretentious. We ordered espresso Martinis, bourbon old fashions, and their HH prices were great.

The West End Lounge is a breath of fresh air on the Wilton Manors strip! This upscale cocktail bar serves up the best libations (in some sophisticated stemware) by a very friendly and attractive bar staff! Cocktails combined with incredible talent--from local favorites to national acts, the performances are truly top-notch. It's the perfect spot for a night out - Highly recommended!!

The West End Lounge, taking the former location of Matty's, is the newest bar along the drive. Though the basic structure and layout of Matty's remain the same, the changes in décor are dramatic leading to a pleasant spacious eye appealing elegant surroundings. It's a true cocktail lounge with a true lounge atmosphere. They have a good cocktail menu with some of the usual suspects like such as the Espresso Martini but also some innovative new ones. But I just stuck to my usual Bacardi and soda which came with a decent pour. The bartenders are professional, competent, and polite. The West End Lounge doesn't have any food, but if you're hungry, Tulio's Tacos and Tequila Bar is only a breezeway away.

After a long wait, West End Lounge finally opened last month. What a welcome addition to the bar scene on "The Drive" in Wilton Manors, as the Arts & Entertainment District successfully expands west from the major intersection. While the structural bones still look like the previous bar Matty's, the interior has been transformed into a very swanky speakeasy. A lot of thought (and money) went into the high-end decor and design. West End is probably the most upscale lounge in the gayborhood. The focus is on evening live entertainment. There is a baby grand on the stage, but so far it's not a singalong piano bar (which I am glad it is not...this is not the place). Think jazz musicians and professional singers. There are lots of special cocktails on the menu, and the bartenders are clearly mixologists. Service is a bit slow, but maybe because these cocktails take some time to make. Be patient and be prepared to pay on the "high-end" for The Drive prices. We were pleasantly surprised with the good list of decently priced wine. So far the bar food is limited and nothing to write home about. It would be nice if there were more seats closer to the stage, as crowds have to stand blocking others sitting further back. But crowds are good for business, and chairs can't block the emergency exits. My friends and I will probably be coming often, maybe even more so if they start having happy hours.

We just stopped in for a quick drink during the pride parade. Lots of outside seating, cushioned couches inside, and a great vibe throughout! Bartenders were fast and friendly, restrooms were clean. 2 thumbs up!

No food served here. The service is fantastic for a relaxed, affordable happy hour. The ambiance is great, with chill music low enough to have a conversation without shouting. The place is elegantly decorated with black and white checkered tiles, red velvet curtains and contemporary art on the walls. Our favorite bartender, Jair, is friendly and makes a mean drink. Definitely recommend for a great happy hour.

What a fantastic find! We wanted a low key, friendly place to go have drinks the night before our cruise and this spot was perfect!! Everyone was so nice especially the bartenders. I wish we had a place like this where we live.

Wilton Manors needs an upscale speakeasy and now it has one. There are many places for dance, beer and frothy beverages on the Drive, but West End appears to be bringing the cocktail artistry to a higher level. It is also a bar you can hear yourself talk. For the many thirsty opening night curious, the bar was able to maintain its footing and service. It was great to see mixologists who knew how to create fine elixirs.

What an incredible evening at this lounge. It's so beautiful and elegant. Such a cool vibe. Our bartender Patrick took great care of us. We will definitely be back.

So much to like about this place---and so little to change to make it a first class lounge. Tuesday nights/piano soloist: turn down the volume.a little. And when the soloists speaks, turn down the voice a lot. We can't understand what he's saying!

Wilton Manors just got a great upgrade: The West End Lounge is a welcome newcomer. The decor is chic, with beautiful art on the walls and very sexy velvet drapery. There are jewel tone chairs , low tables and high tops, all set with pretty mood lamps on a beautiful retro black and white tiled floor. The mood is truly vintage elegance. There is a stage and a baby grand piano, although that night we missed the music. The wine we ordered by the glass was good with a healthy pour, and even better, the wine glasses are of a very good quality, with a fine stem and nicely- sized bowl. The bartender was making beautiful cocktails and has quite a following, so we will try those on our next visit. Our server was very attentive, which we appreciated. I highly recommend this unique spot in Wilton Manors.

Decided I would go there on a Saturday afternoon two bartenders one on each side of the bar people at the bar too busy talking to themselves and other people to wait on anybody that would walk up to get a drink first and second last time I'll be back

Cute, new lounge in Wilton Manner. Service was good and quick for being open its first night. I had the old fashion and it did not disappoint. The Anastasia BeaverHusen was another drink I had tried and was light and refreshing. The drinks are a little pricy but you can enjoy them inside the fabulously decorated lounge or the outside patio.

Came here with friends Saturday evening and it was great. Came here Monday eve with friends and the service was terrible so we left. This is not how you keep customers folks!

The West End Lounge has quickly become my favorite spot for "Happy Hour " and to bring friends from out of town for entertaining. The friendly, handsome bartenders, are always on point and the welcoming atmosphere makes it very enjoyable to mingle with friends or just have a drink at the bar after a long days work.

The West End Lounge just opened, so patience with the bar staff is a must as they learn the flow and the cocktails. The drinks are really nice, albeit a bit complicated which might add to some of the chaos behind the bar. The wine selection is also very nice. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both roomy with enough space for a crowd, it doesn't feel cramped. The vibe is what it's all about. There aren't any other jazz lounges on the drive, so the lounge is a great alternative to the usual. Live music, great comfortable seating, plenty of staff...keep up this energy!

Great bar for gentlemen age 40 and over, and for their friends. Ambiance, vibe, music all good. Bartenders make great craft drinks. Wine and beers are well-priced. Happy hour prices are even better. And the bartenders are genuinely friendly and affable...and nice eye candy.

Nice place. Another bar? They need to be more open about happy hour, bartender frowned at me when I asked about it.

Beautiful and comfortable environment. Very nice bartender but they make their own tips up. I don't keep my receipts but I do photograph them all. This is common in gay bars. In the past month West End, Drynk and Boardwalk make up their own tips. Out of 10 bar/restaurant experiences in a 10 day period 3 of 10 made their own tips up. The 3 that did were gay bars. This has never occurred in a straight bar or restaurant to me. I won't bother to contact my credit card. My bill was $15. I left a $5 tip. They decided $7 was better. My receipt clearly shows a grand total of $20. So now I know.

The West End Lounge is a breath of fresh air for Wilton Manors-- incredible ambiance, wine selection and cocktails! We always have a wonderful time there :-)

In my opinion, this is the classiest bar that serves the best cocktails on Wilton dmDrive. HOWEVER, after Having, Drinks tonight, due to the majority of the clientele being. 50-60 years of age and older, I would highly suggest management hiring at least one or two bartenders that are 50-60 years of age that can better relate to the customers patronizing this establishment. Everything else about this bar is excellent except for the bartenders. I'n not knocking the current staff because the staff is very nice, but there is an age gap that could better relate to the clientele that is glaring.

Beautiful bar. But they've changed the atmosphere and mood recently. They blast dance club music so you can't hear yourself or have a conversation especially sitting outside. Asked the manager if it could be turned down and he said they can't control the amplifier then turned and clearly rolled his eyes and made what I assume was a snarky comment to the bartender. They should do some research on the demographics in this city. Also hard to get a drink. It showed great promise. The drive didn't need another bar blasting dance music. Shame.

Another great new bar on Wilton Drive, it's next to Tulio's Tacos and where Matty's used to be. It's really nice inside and you can tell they have spent a lot of money on the space. I like to sit outside, they have sofa seatings and both high top and low tables. The only issue here is that sometimes they will get caught up with everyone making cocktails that take forever so service can be a little slow. It's so new though that any niggles like this will get ironed out. Well recommended. The crowd is generally older during happy hour, say to 50s to 70s but I imagine that changes later at night.

April 2024, came here for an event it was the first time at this bar that had a cute decor and felt comfortable. The staff were wonderful and Owen our Server was fabulous! He took great care of our table. Place was packed for Happy Hour, and you couldn't beat the prices. Would definitely come here again. Just wish they had bar bites.

Great new addition to Wilton Drive. The drinks are divine and the live entertainment was truly a welcome change to the normal Wilton disco music. I'll be back!

Very elegant design. The bartenders have zero attitude and are very attentive and introduce themselves to You if you're a first timer. The drinks are EXACTLY as they should be. Speaking of the bartenders, they wear these aprons like the old apothecary mixologists did in the 18-19 centuries alongside their glasses, which complement the whole scene/decor transporting the patrons to that old period. Their Happy Hour is not as strong (choices) as other nearby bars and lounges but I'm confident that will be tailored as needed.

Nice decor. Very friendly and sexy bartenders. Great speciality drink menus. Happy hour may cater to an older crowd or at least it seemed that way. Good drink happy hour prices. Great location. Plenty of paid parking across the street.

prices are exorbinant! Entertainers are hit and miss. Pull the shades down...real drunks like a dark bar. service is right on though. Drynk has the right idea except for your beautiful granite.

I'll give it 3 stars because I like the venue. I had a negative experience with a bar tender. Its a gay bar and the bartender was totally occupied with two women. Maybe he should work in a straight bar. i will stop again ! Hope the place is successful ! I don't like to cast shade on anyone, just saying.
