The West Valley Food Pantry

This food bank started out giving me a full car trunk of food. But the last two times, I was handed only a couple of boxes with noodles, grapes, macaroni, and beans — barely enough for two days. Meanwhile, I see others leaving with very large boxes. The distribution here feels extremely inconsistent and unfair. Clients should not be humiliated with such unequal treatment at a place that claims to help people in need.

Great experience and excellent customer service. They give prepared food and unprepared food too. Sometimes, they have other items, but mostly food.

Praise Jesus you guys are open again I’ve missed all of you so much I love this food bank not only is everyone very kind but you get really wonderful stuff basics like milk eggs bread that’s always a blessing anything helps I’ve even been able to get dog food before so I pray for all the volunteers and just wanna say thank you so much for what you are doing for all of us God bless you 🙏✝️💞

A few months ago, I signed up to volunteer but only did for just 2 days. The volunteers that were already there for some time weren't very welcoming. They got mad when I asked them a question as if they expected me to know everything even though I was new. After the first day, one of the guys who works there and I agreed to volunteer each Friday from 8:30 am to 12 pm. I showed up the following Friday just for them to tell me they don't need me, I am not on their schedule, and they have other people in my place. They didn't tell me about any schedule. They just told me to show up each Friday at those hours. When I questioned them about it and if I should show up next Friday, they ignored me and told me I could just go home. I found this sad because I was looking forward to volunteering here since I heard it is a good place. I think there could've been better communication. Though my time volunteering here was short, I wish that they would give better quality food to the hungry. Lots of the food they give out is spoiled or moldy.

First of all I must tell thanks so much for helping and thanks for organized,very respectful and kindly. But just a comments Today at 08/21/20 I go there for pickup food and when I back to home I surprised for some expired date on products. I share the pictures.... It's not make sense on food donation!!

Wonderful place run by people who really care about helping the community and those in need. They help hundreds of families a day get food, and all volunteer their time to help everyone regardless of background, status, religion, etc.

Very bad service, unpleasant people no helpful at all they treat you like trash and they give you molded and expire food. I wouldn’t go there ever again.

Been coming to this food pantry on and off for years. They do such a great job. I really like how they converted to a drive thru system, it's streamlined the process and you don't even have to get out of your car. Which is fantastic, perfect for seniors, and those with mobility issues. The food is good quality and quantity, plenty to keep me afloat. I'd recommend to friend. Happiness :-D
