Craft Coffee Comes to Morena Boulevard - Eater San Diego

"The WestBean Coffee Roasters open a fourth branch in San Diego, featuring a 28-seat indoor space and 12-seat patio. It’s the new hub for WestBean’s roasting operations, open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cafe will serve its full coffee menu, including cold brew on tap and pour-overs, and will offer pastries from Bread & Cie, with plans to add breakfast sandwiches, açaí bowls, and yogurt bowls. The company is focusing on expanding its wholesale business and potentially more retail locations." - Candice Woo

WestBean Coffee Roasters Moving Onto Morena Boulevard - Eater San Diego

"The WestBean Coffee Roasters is the latest local beverage business to land on the stretch of Morena Boulevard that’s currently home to Bitter Brothers Brewery, Blue Door Urban Winery, and German wine shop Truly Fine Wine. The coffee company, which was founded in 2009, is moving into the Bay Ho site last occupied by Red Card Cafe. WestBean co-owner Andrew Karr tells Eater that the main reason for the move is to provide more room for its roastery; customers will be able to see the roasters at work in the space, which will also include a large retail area. The roasting operations and an on-site cafe and outdoor patio should be up and running in three months. It will offer a menu similar to its locations in Liberty Public Market, downtown San Diego, and Bankers Hill, which includes cold brew on tap, house-sweetened lattes, and pour-over coffee as well as all the classic espresso drinks. Karr says the cafe will start by just serving coffee, but food options will be added later." - Candice Woo

Excellent cold brew. Love the sparkling water. Lots of seating and comfortable. Fast WiFi. Staff are very kind. Great place to work or for a break

Google
Randomly popped on here because the closest drive thru coffee joint was closed. So excited to find my new favorite coffee. Both pastry and espresso were delicious and unexpected!!!! Will be back for more. Also a great stop on the way to Costco and they have parking in the back!!!!

I’ve been going to the WestBean location in Banker’s Hill for years, and I’m super happy this company decided to open a new location on Morena near Clairemont and Pacific Beach. They do all their beans in-house, and the quality definitely shines through. I love their espresso! This isn’t necessarily a place to come for breakfast, as their offerings are very limited when it comes to food, but definitely a top-notch purveyor of coffee! This location has a good amount of seating, Wi-Fi, and a nice vibe. It’s also not too crowded. Not a bad spot to hangout and work for a couple hours if need be. Definitely recommend this new WestBean location! Be sure to have a card on you, or some 5s and 1s, as they don’t carry cash on location.

Google
Unfortunately I have to rate the new food menu a 3 because the online ordering menu is not user friendly and you don’t have an option to select which bread for your sandwich. Breakfast sandwich I ordered yesterday was delish but very little chipotle. No other dressing like mayo etc so your sandwich comes dry if the dressing isn’t coating the bun. I ordered the spicy turkey sandwich today that’s $12.95 with chips. Unfortunately they were out of chips. And the sandwich had a lot more chipotle to make it a lil wet and there was no arugula in my sandwich. Not sure if I’ll try the turkey pesto but I do love their coffee if I run out at work. The space is nice and I love the outdoor seating options on the side.

Google
The WestBean Coffee Roaster was amazing, coffee was so good, the place was minimalist, relax, classy and now that they partnered with Talitha, the coffee still good, but the design in the place it’s horrible, not classy any more, looks more for kids and kind of cheap. Each wall has a different color (pink, purple, green), makes the place very dark from inside and it does not give the vibe of an elegant/elevated type of place. Before there were long tables with nice wood benches and now is very commercial cheap square tables with plastic chairs. Also there is not matcha without sugar anymore. Why matcha needs to have sugar??? A lot of people go for matcha for healthiness..!!!

Today at 9am we came to get coffee since we usually love it here. The barista in the front with blonde hair and piercings was very rude to us. We heard the people after us saying the same thing to. We used to come a couple of times a week but, we won’t be back.

Google
Yes, they're finally open! After watching with anticipation for the last year as they built out their roasters and cafe, we were so thrilled to finally try it out this morning. This is a much needed addition to the Bay Park neighborhood which has a dearth of restaurants and coffee shops. The space is cool, clean and industrial with the focus being on the roastery. Beautiful materials and for anyone who is familiar with Kitchen 4140, the same layout inside. As with most new locations, the A team is there and the commitment to the drinks is second to none. Absolutely perfect shot of espresso, short and restrained. Delicious lavender latte, with just the right amount of sweetness (and thank you for using organic milk). Very dog friendly and if you live in Bay Ho, easy to walk to. We will definitely be back

Google
The coffee was mediocre, and it took forever. They should hire a second barrista and/or take pour overs off the menu. The guy was clearly overwhelmed, and when he finally got my drink out to me, he slammed it (in a rush) and it splashed on the counter. I found that very upsetting after how long I waited for that drink. The coffee was well made, smooth and clear, but the taste was not my preference (they used a blend with too dark/bitter a profile for my taste). Overall, there was enough I didn't like that I wouldn't go back unless I lived or worked closer by. And even then, I would only order drip coffee or prepare for a long wait.

Yelp
Literally the best açaí bowl I have ever had, and the coffee is AMAZING!! Everything that I have had from here has been excellent

Yelp
The staff is nice and service is quick (though there weren't that many ppl there when I was there so the judgement might be a bit biased on this). I got turmeric latte in coconut milk. It tastes awesome! My husband tried and liked it as well. He said he could taste cinnamon in it. I don't really think so but anyways it's good. Downside is that it seems like they only offer one size. Price is a bit high for a 12oz (I believe it's 12oz) drink for needing to pay over $8. The location is not the best. It's kinda at the turning corner of the liberty station market so it's not a place to sit down and enjoy. More so grab and go type of coffee place. I wouldn't mind coming back to try out other coffee or drink if I am nearby again.

Yelp
Staff is good Location street parking Coffee is bland Given 5 chances ... 1st time they forgot my pastry -2022 2nd time made coffee hot instead of cold-2023 3rd time coffee wasn't good needed redo-2023 4th time my pastry wasn't warmed up. Nor did they asked (make sure you mentioned it) -2023 5th time requested 2 shots expresso on macchiato requested a 16oz and receive a standard . On my lavender ice coffee they added 2 shots of expresso. -2024 Gave chances because we're all human and the staff is just trying to do there job, but coffee is essential for my lifestyle 3 stars because it's been yrs

Yelp
Yummm such a good spot for coffee in the market. Super quick service and they had a seasonal chocolate strawberry latte. All their syrups are made in house too!
google avatar

Crystal R.

Yelp
Westbean on Morena is by far the best of their locations. My go to is the salted caramel with oat. It has a creamy texture and is amazing iced and hot. When served hot the drink has thick velvety foam (even w/oat milk) so nice to sip on a cold day. The breakfast sandwich is so good too, try the chipotle mayo! Parking is never an issue and I have never waited in a line of more than a couple people. The inside is clean, modern and quiet. Great place to study.
google avatar

Raul R.

Yelp
Got the new Strawberry Chocolate Latte and was told I was the first to order it! I am honored. It's was sooooo good. Just delicious. The baristas are always so nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend this drink especially.
google avatar

Andrew R.

Yelp
Top tier local coffee roaster in San Diego, very underrated. Stop in and treat yourself to amazing coffee. They make my absolute favorite blend for espresso, Sweet Sussex, you have to try it. Also, their decaf coffee is really good which is hard to find.
google avatar

Jenny N.

Yelp
I got their iced mocha latte and I'm a fan! It was pretty yummy and the service was very fast! There's spots to study inside and it's really not a busy place, at least not when I went! They had some outlets that I saw as well as an outside seating area. Small ish parking lot but plenty open spots! The inside is nice and clean.
google avatar

Yelp
Got an americano with half and half and was charged extra for it ("breve") just for the next lady to get pretty much the same thing (drip) and be shown to the bar with the condiments and half n half container!! got the breakfast sandwich #2 with spicy mayo it was pretty good but seriosly?!! $6 for a double shot americano with cream is way too much

Yelp
My buddy and I wanted some quick coffee nearby and came here. Plenty of parking nearby for customers only so no complaints there! The interior was aesthically pleasing with high ceilings and lots of natural light. They roast their own coffee here which was available to see from a distance, very cool! They also have nice outdoor seating as well. I ordered a chai latte 16 oz with oat milk and it was overall pretty good 4.25/5 for me personally but it could have been a little sweeter. They do have sugar packets to sweeten your drink more at the pick up counter. The employees here are very nice and friendly but the price of my chai $7+ killed me inside :( If this place could lower their prices a bit I would truly rate this place at least 4 stars but for now 3.5/5.

Yelp
I came here to do work with my partner, I think it's a great place to do work early in the day! (They're only open until 2 PM). They have a lot of seating indoors and a good amount of tables to sit at outside as well. The decor inside have a cool, minimal vibe. The salted caramel iced latte was great, I definitely recommend it! The staff was friendly and helpful as well. This place can be easy to miss because it's not amongst many other food spots and is in a kind of random area, but I think that makes it a great place to do work or just stop by and grab coffee in this area.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee spots in SD. Great coffee and great food. Cortado is Chefs kiss.
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
A pretty good coffee place with some outdoor seating on Morena along the warehouse area. The inside was nice and spacious with the coffee roasting area in back. I had a cold brew with oat milk topping and my wife had their version of the Caramel Macchiato. Both were good and worth a trip here. Their large is like 16 ounces and I would like them to have a bigger size (the Venti Starbucks version would work). Staff was nice enough but not super friendly.

Marilyn S.

Yelp
A coffee roaster that doesn't offer ceramic cups?? Who wants to sip hot coffee out of a soggy paper cup. And then they want $5 for a cappuccino! Ridiculous.
google avatar

Frances A.

Yelp
I remember trying West Bean out a few times down in the Little Italy location. Years later, I chose to give then a second chance. The cafe has an open feel to it and there is a cool view of the roaster in a separate room. All three stars go for the friendliness of the employees, but the espresso is so bland here. I ordered an oat milk flat white. The cost of the drink was over 7 dollars! Just not worth it.
google avatar

Tash A.

Yelp
WestBean Coffee Roasters has amazing coffee!! Their beans are actually roasted at this location so you know what you're getting is fresh! Sign up for their email list so you can get notified of any specials they have randomly. Their lattes are SO good! FYI there is a parking lot in the back!
google avatar

Yelp
fast and super nice environment, but one thing i had that every place is turning that white ipad looking thing and asking me for change... bruh lemme get my stuff first and maybe then i'll see.
google avatar

Karina E.

Yelp
The coffee here is delicious. This is my go to location since it's near my house and workout studio... this location also houses the roastery so you just can't resist the smell. The almond milk latte with salted caramel is so good.. they also have fresh pastries from bread and cie .. check them out

Yelp
Best coffee n San Diego. These guys roast their coffee. Great Quality, Flavor, Service. To be honest I have been looking for great coffee and finally found this great place. Besides they have non coffee options

Yelp
I had seen the A frame sign a bunch of times while passing Costco and finally decided to pull over for a cup of coffee. Its very easy to miss because theres not a parking lot in front with a bunch of other stores around it. Rather its located along the road which you could easily pass by if it were not for the A frame sign. Luckily you can park along the street but there is also a parking lot at both ends of the building. The place is minimalistic, modern, and clean. Service was friendly and inviting, i think they also roast beans for business around town and just have a retail location out front. I got a drip coffee and added simple syrup and cream. I liked the roast of the coffee, not too light or too dark, for me Bird Rock roasts to light, this was just right i could taste the nuances of the coffee and yet it was not too acidic and had a rich roasted flavor. Good job guys!
google avatar

Yelp
Yes, opening more WestBeans Coffee Roasters around town is a very good thing because not only are they making terrific coffees, but they are also making some delicious eats as well. Case in point, I stopped in for a light breakfast in the order of a breakfast sandwich with a couple of eggs, ham, arugula, Munster cheese, you know all the good stuff. In addition to the creamy chipotle sauce, the sandwich came on a lightly toasted brioche bun. Although I felt the egg yolk was a little over done, I like a slow run, it was a very well seasoned and tasty. An extra slice of ham would of done the sandwich justice to help bring out the savory flavor of the ham. The slight peppery and bitter flavor of the fresh arugula played well with the ham and eggs. The chipotle sauce was just right too. It provided a subtle heat but big flavors. The brioche bun was soft but toasted in the right spots to give the breakfast sandwich that extra texture. The cafe au lait I had to drink was perfect with the right ratio. It was smooth and very tasty. The staff members were quite up beat and helpful. I received a pleasant welcome and great service.

Yelp
The WestBean Coffee Roasters is one of the best coffee shops in San Diego. I always enjoy going here for two main reasons, they are fast and it's real coffee. Never have any issues with employees, good coffee, and in all is a super cute shop. One of my favorite drinks is the honey cinnamon latte, WestBean is known to have perfectly sweetened drinks and they do live up to the fact. If you ever catch yourself in front of this coffee shop please give it a try!
google avatar

Yelp
Westbean has opened up a new location and of course, I had to go there. I really loved their space and design. It looked pretty cool. Their coffee is good as always. I'm glad that they also serve their morning sandwiches here. I got their sandwich #1 and it was amazing. I would definitely come back here again to study/work. The seats were comfortable and I really liked their lights. One thing that's cool about this particular location is that I believe they roast their coffee beans here. There's a separate room that you can see through their glass doors and you can see tons of coffee bean bags and this huge machine. * There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating as well!
google avatar

Caitlin D.

Yelp
If I'm honest, this is my favorite WestBean location. (I've only went to the one in Bankers Hill.) This one has a spacious outdoor seating, depending on the day...there's sun or shade. Inside, big white open space. It's bright and the workers are welcoming. I absolutely love the light fixtures they had and the cushioned seats were very comfortable. Seeing that I went out of my comfort zone last time I went to The WestBean...I decided to stay in my zone this time. So, I ordered an iced caramel latte. (I can't remember if it was salted or not). I wasn't suspecting anything other than the usual caramel syrup like latte. I was very shocked, the first sip, wow! Mind blowing... The caramel tasted like it was from a chunk of melted caramel. It was unbelievably creamy! It didn't taste like it came from Monin syrup or Torani. I have no idea what they used, but it was the BEST caramel latte I ever had tasted. And I've tasted plenty of (salted and unsalted) caramel lattes. (You must come to this location for the latte). Definitely try this place out...will not be disappointed.

Yelp
What a nice and unique location and vibe. It smells so nice to walk in the door and be greeted with roasted coffee bean smells ! Today I didn't want to over caffeinate (I had already had coffee earlier) so I ordered a nice rich black tea . Yum ! It was loose leaf. With a touch of steamed milk. The ham and cheese croissant is as magical. I look forward to returning soon as it is very near my office. Next to try is the pour over . Can't wait.

Yelp
Quality: 5 stars Taste: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Location/Facilities: 4 stars - very busy, no parking Price value: 4.5 stars Overall value: 6 stars Extraordinary: salted caramel latte Liberty Station location often runs out of caramel Bankers Hill - closes early - would like extended weekend hours

Joe W.

Yelp
Being one that would rather support local companies vs chains, I decided to try this place out and boy am I glad that I did. The hot salted caramel latte was made just right. It wasn't too sweet and had enough coffee taste to satisfy my palate. As far as food goes, I decided on a breakfast sandwich. On my way out, I told the employees, "That was the best damn breakfast sandwich I have ever had". The bun was soft and toasted to perfection. The thick piece of sausage, which was placed on a slice of tomato with the perfect amount of chipotle underneath was so juicy my mouth is watering again as I type this review. The egg itself was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of pepper and cheese on it. I cannot stress enough how this sandwich rocked my taste buds into another universe. I will definitely be returning and I am thankful to have found this place.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for coffee + breakfast and left feeling very dissatisfied with our experience at West Bean Morena. We each ordered our coffees and food and were told it would be a 10min wait time for our food to come out. No problem at all, plenty of time for us to catch up. When they called for us to grab our food, I went up to grab both meals. Their employee hands both boxes to me, even pointing out which box was which. I returned to our table and about 4-5 minutes into enjoying our food, the lady who initially took our order comes up to our table aggressively and accuses us of "taking" someone else's food. Puzzled at first, I explained that I did not take any boxes and that they had been handed directly to me by her coworker. This didn't change her tone at all, as she grilled my friend on whether or not she had taken a bite out of her food already (ew? were they just going to try giving it away after it had already been opened by another customer??). She was adamant and downright accusatory that we were somehow at fault and even apologized to the other customer whose food had been mistakenly given out by their staff, but never offered us any apology for the confusion or the scene she had created. Ultimately the real disappointment was being made to feel like we were somehow at fault for their mixup. It's clear to me that their staff aren't trained on responding accordingly when basic customer service situations arise (apologies are free) and instead are more interested in socializing and saving face with their friends at the coffee bar while they work. Get a better labeling system for your food pickups, especially if you're offering order ahead on your website... even just simply writing the person's name down on the box would have prevented this issue.

Nadine G.

Yelp
Hands down the best coffee in San Diego!! When I lived in Australia I was spoilt with good coffee everywhere. I think that the US need to pickup it's game when it comes to making lattes etc (always too watery, or too little coffee or burnt coffee etc). However westbean coffee is super creamy and delicious. Highly recommend
google avatar

Yelp
This location has an open, minimally decorated cafe in the front and a fully operational brew system in the back. You are even able to take a little peek-sy into it through the double glass doors -- very sterile and clean indeed! You already get a sense of how nerdy they are about coffee, so that must be a good sign as it pertains to the quality of their products. I went in for an easy cold brew, but noticed that they had something on their menu called *Kryptonite*. I would learn that it is their mint-infused cold brew WITH brown sugar and half & half. Overkill, so the barista was happy to exclude those unnecessary ingredients. Very refreshing having waves of cooling mint in your cold brew! And they don't infuse the mint with syrups. Rather, they soak the ground coffee beans with fresh mint leaves. I'm not sure how long the steeping process is for a typical cold brew here, but I can say that this one was rather smooth. If you want food, then you're in luck since they have hot breakfast items and baked goods too. I was very bothered that the baked goods were not covered since the cafe is pretty open. I may have observed an errant fly going to town on all the pastries that were out for the morning... not so fresh anymore it seems like. It is probably best to stick to the coffee here, in that light!

Yelp
was in the area and need a breakfast spot. Their breakfast brioche sandwich is really delicious! caramel macchiato was delicious. their chocolate croissant is decent. I wish it could be warmed up, not sure because I wasn't asked and neither did I ask...

Yelp
First Impression: Empty Second Impression: No greeting Third Impression: Not shocked it's empty most every time I drive by. Been meaning to come in for months really but it's opposite side of the way I drive on the buzzing Morena Drive. I usually go through a simple drive through shop kitty corner to this but it was closed today. Walking in it's a cool modern vibe & I love the simplicity. I went to the register and said hello, tried looking around for menu options. I went basic and ordered a Vanilla Latte. Also ordered a Cheese Danish even though I wanted a sandwich but didn't see a menu until end of ordering and figured damn if this guy is already not happy I'm not gonna make a last minute switch on him. My bad for sure! Waiting for my coffee & glad I was the only person in the place because when my drink was ready it was just sitting on the counter. No "you're all set!". I grabbed a lid and said thanks. *silence* QUALITY: good vanilla latte, would order again but wouldn't come here especially for it. Cheese Danish was better once I threw it in the toaster oven. Honestly disappointed in the vibe and customer service. Shame because I could be a regular but glad there's other options nearby. Hopefully it was an off day for the guy behind the counter? Next time hoping for a "Hey!" Or "Hi how's it goin!"

Yelp
Coffee and tea are good. Customer service is a zero. No one smiles. Answers are one word. "Good Morning" from me was barely answered. Terrible vibe from the girls working. I won't be back.
google avatar

Cailin L.

Yelp
This place isn't bad at all, it was quiet and pretty empty on a Wednesday morning. I love natural light for working in, and this West Bean delivers! It's got a clean, bright, minimalistic layout and there were outlets by the entrance where I was sitting. Literally my ideal combo. My hot chocolate was rich and not too sweet, although it was the slightest bit salty. My friend enjoyed her mocha. We got a lot of work done because it was so quiet and comfortable. I wish it closed just a little later than 2pm; I'd be here every day. I think the weirdest thing to me was that they didn't have a trash can and I had to walk behind the pastry counter to throw something away. I am definitely overthinking this but I guess I just don't prefer open pastries to be sitting next to an also-open trash can?
google avatar

Vanessa X.

Yelp
They are dog friendly so I took my little chihuahua and he got to sleep on my lap while I worked on my laptop. They also have wifi. There is indoor and outdoor seating and it felt like a space I could sit and get some work done without bothering anyone/ anyone bothering me. There are not really a lot of outlets so make sure to charge your laptop before hand if you plan on working here. I got the lavender latte half sweet and it was very good but I thought it was a bit pricey (almost $6 with tax). They make their own lavender syrup so maybe that's why it costs a bit more. But there are some cheaper drinks and maybe it is worth it for a nice spot to sit and work/use wifi.

Yelp
Always wanted to try this place because I know they roast their own beans. When I walked in, I saw a couple customers standing in front of the barista. I went over there and stood there facing the barista. Apparently I was supposed to stand by the register right by the front door, but I guess I'm used to walking into other great places like Pete's where it is set up where you face the Barista. When I walked in, I got no greeting or even an acknowledgment in any way. As I stood in front of the barista, she was finishing peoples drinks and the whole time did not look at me or say anything. I wonder what she thought I was doing the whole time. I waited about seven or eight minutes and then somebody walked in and went straight to the register. I wondered why the barista still didn't acknowledge me when she had no more customers. She asked the customer by the register what she wanted and ignored me. I then said, "excuse me, have I been waiting in the wrong place? I've been waiting here for seven or eight minutes now." The barista did not say anything to me so I walked over to the register. I felt very bad and said, "Maybe if you would greet your customer it might've helped me or directed me since you saw me standing there the whole time and didn't acknowledge me." It was a very poor experience. Then when I handed her $5 she, with a sneer, pointed and tapped on the sign that said "Not accepting cash. The coffee is excellent of course because it's freshly roasted. As I remember waiting, I noticed the barista as she handed customers their drinks never said "thank you." The staff are obviously not trained to value the customer. Which means neither does the owner. I suggest the owner review the camera and see that even though I expressed my opinion I did so respectfully. I will not come back nor recommend this to anyone, even though the coffee itself is excellent.

Yelp
Cute little hidden coffee bar. The is not a lot of seating inside, outside seating is super cute though. There aren't a whole lot of options when it comes to drinks nor pastries but what they did have was really yummy. I will be coming back

Yelp
So happy this place finally opened! Tried it for the first time this morning, staff was really friendly and the coffee was really good. They have plenty of seating, and free WiFi. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast but they serve it till one. Definitely will be back, they did a really good job making this a cool spot.
google avatar

Ella O.

Yelp
This location is not my favorite. They serve great coffee and roast in house. Definitely great for a medium to dark roast purist. The location itself though is placed oddly, not much seating and barely any outlets. Enjoy the coffee but i'd rather go to one of their bigger locations.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a fun find! I've been looking for a new coffee shop study place, and this might be a new go-to weekend spot! I can't attest to all the drinks, but since they make their own syrups, I'm already giving a big thumbs up. The iced vanilla latte is super yummy! Vibes definitely give off more industrial, tasting room feels with concrete floors and minimal decor, but the bench seating along the back wall let's you be more comfy and stay even longer :) The only downside are the hours--closing at 2pm everyday really limits how often I can go. With a normal day job, I need a study spot for post-5pm study sessions. So while I can't come during the week at all, it makes for a more enticing alternative to fighting for a table at another coffee shop. Overall a nice, quiet place with super friendly staff!

Yelp
We came to this coffee shop at 1:35PM on a Sunday and they were closed. Listed hours are 8AM-2PM. No clear reason why they don't honor their hours. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
The most delicious coffee in all of San Diego county! The friendliness cannot be beat! Each item they sell is more tasty than the next. My favorite is their hot mocha and it is a perfect blend of chocolate and coffee that is (shockingly) not very sweet. Reminds me of the coffee I have in Europe.

Yelp
Was passing by and in need of some coffee got the ice cold vanilla and tried iut a sample of nitro. wide awake. Will definitely be back when around the area. Better prices than Starbucks thats for sure.

Yelp
Confident enough in how great their coffee is to say it's the highest quality coffee in San Diego. I'm sure there's another coffeeshop somewhere that's on par but you won't find a place better. Simply excellent quality you can taste straightaway. Please give this shop a visit

Yelp
Wow! Been a long time since I've had a shot this good Really really exceptional 5 stars with out a second thought Parking here was a trip first AM but WELL worth it. Short little girl behind the machine this morning did an amazing job please give her a raise, now. No I don't know her. Been to half a dozen cities in as many days, you have no idea how hard it is to find this kind of perfection. Keep doing what you're doing. Thank you for making my crappy morning excellent again.

Yelp
Awesome coffee and super quiet location. It's probably one of the best kept secret work spots in the area. Also, it's where they roast their coffee so if you want fresh beans, it's tough to beat this location.

Yelp
Really amazing latte. I was mad I didn't get a larger size. I think they are in a tough location to be visible but I personally think their coffee is better than a lot of the popular coffee places in San Diego. Pretty great quality for sure. This is going to be my new spot from now on.

Yelp
5 stars because it exceeded my expectations on my first and second visit. Yesterday I had the Kryptonite Iced Coffee, today I had the Lavender Latte. Skip Starbucks and go here. Nice folks there too. Worth it if you want a perfectly crafted cup of coffee. See you again soon!
