Always wanted to try this place because I know they roast their own beans. When I walked in, I saw a couple customers standing in front of the barista. I went over there and stood there facing the barista. Apparently I was supposed to stand by the register right by the front door, but I guess I'm used to walking into other great places like Pete's where it is set up where you face the Barista. When I walked in, I got no greeting or even an acknowledgment in any way. As I stood in front of the barista, she was finishing peoples drinks and the whole time did not look at me or say anything. I wonder what she thought I was doing the whole time. I waited about seven or eight minutes and then somebody walked in and went straight to the register. I wondered why the barista still didn't acknowledge me when she had no more customers. She asked the customer by the register what she wanted and ignored me. I then said, "excuse me, have I been waiting in the wrong place? I've been waiting here for seven or eight minutes now." The barista did not say anything to me so I walked over to the register. I felt very bad and said, "Maybe if you would greet your customer it might've helped me or directed me since you saw me standing there the whole time and didn't acknowledge me." It was a very poor experience. Then when I handed her $5 she, with a sneer, pointed and tapped on the sign that said "Not accepting cash. The coffee is excellent of course because it's freshly roasted. As I remember waiting, I noticed the barista as she handed customers their drinks never said "thank you." The staff are obviously not trained to value the customer. Which means neither does the owner. I suggest the owner review the camera and see that even though I expressed my opinion I did so respectfully. I will not come back nor recommend this to anyone, even though the coffee itself is excellent.
