"From 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Westin’s heated infinity pool offers a perfect reprieve from the heat, with shaded lounge chairs, cabanas, and a menu of cocktails, drink packages, and light bites. If in need of a change of scenery, venture off into the surrounding area, which is filled with bars and restaurants within walking distance." - Brittany Britto Garley

I was originally staying at another hotel in the area, and let’s just say… it was less than great. After a frustrating first night, I decided to change my entire itinerary—and thank goodness I did. Booking into The Westin at The Woodlands turned my trip around entirely.||From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a completely different experience. The atmosphere is modern, calming, and upscale without being stuffy. The rooms are beautifully designed, super comfortable, and well-maintained. ||But the real highlight of my stay? Robert at the Sorriso restaurant. He was exceptional. Genuinely knowledgeable about the menu and wine/ cocktail pairings, incredibly hospitable, and made me feel truly welcomed. He wasn’t just providing service—he was creating an experience. You can tell he cares about what he does, and it made a huge difference. Not to mention, he was incredibly busy and still — calmly and genuinely — took care of all of his customers while making time to engage with the those of us at the bar. He is a 10/10 and could teach a thing or two about customer experience, multi tasking, and knowing the offerings so well to make recommendations. When I’m back in the Houston area, there’s no other place at all consider staying because of Robert and his service and hospitality.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was amazing, and the pillows were perfect — I truly slept like a baby. The location is spectacular, with everything close by. We also had dinner at the restaurant in the lobby and enjoyed it so much — great food and atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back!

Had a great stay here. Josh and Jacob the valet guys were helpful with our bags and getting the car loaded/unloaded. They even left our car up front since we said we had reservations at a restaurant… only to realize later it was actually across the street 😅 Even though they seemed really busy they still helped me get to my room with my luggage which I really appreciated. Check-in was easy. Alejandro at the front desk was very kind and got us set up quick. Room was clean, comfy, and quiet and the bed was actually pleasant to sleep in. Location was close to everything. restaurants, bars, walking area and even a mall. Scenery was relaxed and welcoming. Would stay here again.

If you are doing an event, please don't book your room block through them. They have zero flexibility when it comes to room blocks and moving dates. We had our wedding planned for August, and found out we had to move our wedding date due to a high risk pregnancy. We let the Westin know that we needed to move the dates 5 months before the scheduled time. The contract you sign makes you pay 80% of the hotel costs. Keep that in mind when you sign. Also we were just trying to move from August to February and not cancel, so we were more than willing to still honor the agreed amounts. They still charge you the 80%, which for 10 rooms was $6,000. The Marriott next door is just as nice and was able to move bookings without any issues and doesn't take a deposit. Just keep in mind when doing room blocks in The Woodlands and steer clear of the Westin. This is also coming from a Titanium Marriott member, and have done many corporate bookings where I've had to shift dates due to unforeseen circumstances.

My stay was amazing! Karrington took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable as she always addressed any concerns I had. She made my stay so welcoming and I will definitely come back because of the great service! I really enjoyed the staff and hotel.

Rosa took care of us wonderfully! The food service was amazing and delicious!|I really liked having coffee available all day. The hotel view is amazing and the location is very well maintained 💚 I felt safe and taken care of. The rooms were very clean and had attention to detail

I traveled here for work with my family and took a couple of days vacation to enjoy our selves. I don’t normally leave reviews but had to give this hotel the kudos it deserves. We had such an amazing time. The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home. The room was immaculate. The maid service was perfect. And the location could not have been better for walking around and finding good food and drinks. The restaurant in the hotel was also really good for breakfast, dinner and cocktails; very professional and welcoming. We are actually sad to leave. Thanks for the great memories!

Rosa, the person who helped set up our meal spread each day, was fantastic. Super quick, kind, friendly, and welcoming! The pillows and beds were incredible, the pool was perfect, bathrooms were so clean I could eat off the floor! Great experience, 11/10.

Yelp
After doing some business in the Woodlands, we enjoyed a comfortable stay right on the waterway-- the room was spacious and the hotel was clean. There are full sized toiletries of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but the lotion bottle is tiny, and bring your own face wash! The bed was comfortable and not too soft (yay!). The room also had a mini-fridge and safe as well! We used the gym, which was small and basic, but sufficient. The gym has a water dispenser with tiny snow cone cups instead of water bottles, so bring your own water bottles! The pool was really nice to lounge at-- lots of chairs with umbrellas and shade, and the pool length was long enough to actually swim in :D Self parking at a garage across the street with in and out privileges was about $26 a day. We ran into some minor hiccups, like our card keys not working and having to come back to the front desk to get them re-activated, but the staff members were pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again if in the area!

Yelp
Stayed here on a recent business trip which is right next door to our Woodlands Corporate Office so it was perfect, the hotel is very clean and has a great layout. There is a Starbucks in the lobby area, an Italian restaurant Sorriso and a bar on the 2nd floor with poolside service. The rooms and beds are very roomy and comfortable, I was on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool area and waterway, the front desk staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The pool area is nice and clean and plenty of places to sit or lounge, this place is centrally located with lots of eateries and shopping within walking distance. There is a mall with large movie theater and also the Market Street which has more upscale shopping like Tiffany & Co., Brooks Brothers, Rolex, Tommy Bahamas, LuLulemon etc. lots of great food choices here also. Overall great stay and will definitely stay here again, highly recommend if you want something centrally located with access to everything.

Yelp
VERY nice, clean hotel! Came down to see Imagine Dragons at the Cynthia Mitchell Pavilion, walking distance was short! Whole vibe and neighborhood is beautiful, inviting and safe! Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Seldomly have I wished more than 5 stars were available while leaving a review and this is one of those times. The customer service made this location stand out above all the others. The rooms were impeccably clean. Chatting with the front desk was so efficient and prompt at answering. Through his kindness and dedication to Marriott, John Magee, made our hearts be full of joy through our entire stay. Thank you so much for having such special members of your team such as himself. The continental breakfast was out of this world! Attention to each detail of every item was definitely noted. Fresh bagels from New York! Truffle butter on the the avocado toast! Fresh eggs that aren't made from powder! The coffee! House made gravy! Smoked salmon! Fresh juice! Please make your entire team know how special their contributions to the Marriott are.

Yelp
The property appears very nice visually but the staff and operations are a lesser quality than hoped for. The front desk service is extremely rude. I forgot a c-charger block for my apple devices and called to ask for one and was told to walk 30 minutes to target. When I called back to follow up if they were able to accommodate me the woman actually laughed at me. *** when I finally was able to get a charger none of the USB ports worked in the room The room service charges significantly for a "service charge" and doesn't come and get the service tray for 12 hours it just sits outside of the door. This was a disappointing experience at a "luxury" hotel. I will say also, the curtains in the balcony room are inconvenient, I had to manually hand close 7 of them including reaching behind the TV, they are on chains and should be automatic.

Darris J.

Yelp
The hotel is very lovely and houses a wonderful Italian restaurant. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. Lobby is kinda stark and doesn't invite you to hang out to enjoy a conversation or a night cap. I suppose you'll have to be content with doing that at Bar Louie across the street. The staff, they looked to be awesome to people that didn't look like me. I mean I saw cheery and upbeat interactions to people that lacked melanin...for me something totally different from the time I walked into the building. Sooo, this will be a great review of the place for some folk and a heads up for others. I'll not be returning anytime soon, I'll take my business to the sister Marriott property.

Yelp
The worst cable/satellite TV service I have ever experienced and only at this Marriott Westin property. This is a known issue with the MX engineer and engineer employees. I have stayed here several times during the past year and have experienced this issue no matter the room I'm assigned! I was told that Westin has changed service providers and they are aware of this issue after a provider updated their wiring! If you want to watch football, the news, a show, or movie, then I will far warn you that your TV screen will go black and stay black for several minutes while the channel 1 Marriott channel works perfectly fine! You will see the channel info in white characters at the bottom of your screen while the picture remains black. When the picture is displayed, the channels also have a pixel issue whereby the channel will be distorted. have stayed here several times within the past year. It doesn't matter the room that I'm assigned because I experience the exact same issue in each assigned room EVERY TIME here! Very frustrating if you want to watch a football game, news, movie, etc because the TV screen will just go black. It seems it always goes out when that fabulous touchdown, or most important news be reported!!! I have videos during each of my stays to show the engineers what's happening. One of the engineers saw the TV actually going out firsthand during one of my last three stays. The engineer manager even accompanied this engineer and sane story that they updated their system. Things I do to attempt to fix: 1. turn TV off then back on and only works 10% of the time. 2. Give up and turn TV off. 3. Reverse channels to fix pixel issue. Usually works. Come on Westin management, you know you have an issue so either go back to your old system or hire someone to fix! You have a great location, but not everyone staying at your hotel is on vacation to explore The Woodlands. People like to watch the news channels, weather channels, and even sports. Nothing worse then when your screen goes black at the most interesting watching moment whereby causing you to miss the moment!

Yelp
This is a fairly nice place with a helpful front desk. Many of the restaurants were walkable and close by :) The rooms were adequate in size with nice bathrooms. I would say this hotel is about a 3.5 / 5 Really nice location, nice lobby, and nice staff.

Esther M.

Yelp
This was our first time staying here. Such a beautiful hotel. Easy walking distance to our concert. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing. Our over all experience was awesome!

Jackie S.

Yelp
When the desk clerk cannot handle a check-in, the Security agent has left (no one has taken their place AND the Manager on Duty is too busy to address the issue, it is clear the customer is of little value. Room was not ready either. If this was not enough to spoil the stay, the dinning room could not get it right. Great way to start a family weekend and to prepare for the Woodlands Marathon. Wrote to the property's Customer Service agent (Malven Muzambi). Received an apology w/ statement, "Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I have shared your feedback with our leadership team to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place and reviewed to prevent this from occurring in the future." I called. We spoke and all he would offer is an apology. No desire to provide a future stay or a refund for the failed stay. Wrote the CEO. His agent (Peggy Roe) responded. "Please accept our sincerest apologies for any frustrations you may have experienced. Unfortunately I do not have access to what originally transpired." She closed the case in less than 24hrs without returning my call. Wrote the CEO again. The agent responded that she had spoken with all the people involved and could not confirm any issue. Asked whom she spoke and she would not say. Given I knew who was on duty, whom I spoke and she could or would not confirm any of these names, it is pretty clear she did not speak with anyone. Just wanted to close the case. The following year our group stayed elsewhere. Paid much less. Got much better service. There is no value in staying close to the starting line given the need to warm-up and the short walk-run from the Hyatt was perfect. Tore up my BonVoy membership.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous stay. We loved it. The rooms were spacious and very clean, as were the facilities. The only thing, the door to the adjoined room (we didn't know them), let a lot of noise through it, so it was hard to fall asleep with cackling girls next door. I turned on the white noise machine, and it helped, but it was the same recorded nature sound on loop. Annoying (I know, I'm super picky), but if they changed it to the air kind, that'd be better.

Yelp
Stayed here for Kenny Chesney concert at Cynthia Woods Pavillion. The location is great. It was a short 7 minute walk to the venue. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. This hotel is expensive so you will have to pay up for a nights stay. I had an easy check in and room was clean and comfortable. I did not use any of there amenities such as pool or restaurant, so I cannot comment on them. You will have to pay to park at parking garage across the street. I parked myself and it was $17 for 24 hrs. Hotel offers valet parking. I'm not sure of price but I amagin it's much more expensive. I would stay here again if I could get a better price on the room.

Laurent M.

Yelp
I'll start with the positive: the hotel is beautiful, the staff is courteous. I loved being right on the Waterway. The room was comfortable and a pleasure to be in. The fitness center had enough equipment for all even in the early morning. I wished the blinds were motorized so that I don't have to look for the correct chain, but that's not a big problem. So, why such a low score? The noise. It's never a good sign to find a fresh pair of earplugs and a note about the "vibrant nightlife [...] just outside our doors". The first four were "highlighted" by the same four or five songs broadcast in the square until ~11 am. Annoying (I can still hear them) but whatever. The last night, though, the mood switched to a nightclub ambiance with bass so loud they cut through the provided earplugs. That lasted until 1:30 am. I had to get up early the next day. The note with the earplugs also said "We [...] hope you have a rejuvenating stay." I didn't.

Rae M.

Yelp
I can't complain room was clean . Valet was friendly and timely. Nice hotel. Check-in was smooth and check out. I would definitely come back.

John D.

Yelp
Needing a place to stay to attend a wedding we opted for here. A corner room with a great view of area. The room was huge with a comfortable bed. The 1st night in a hotel is always hardest for me to get some sleep. I didn't have a problem here. Even with the noise below our room it remained quiet inside. However, in addition to the price of the room be prepared to pay additional $$$ for parking. In addition to all of the entertainment located on the streets below there is an Italian restaurant attached and a Starbucks in the lobby. Nice place to stay and we'll stay there again if the occasion presents itself.

Natalie E.

Yelp
rooms nice but has issues, outlets were COVERED in guck and dust it was weird... our tv wasn't working and our phone wasnt either. the staff is also really weird we told the front desk lady our phone wasn't working and she said "oh... sorry" didn't even offer to have anyone come fix it. she acted like sadness from inside out LOL idk if she was having a bad day or something but it was just really weird and we asked her for extra pillows and she sent them to the wrong room (the housekeeping people told us because we saw them) idk how bc she asked our room number THREE EXTRA TIMES idk how she messed up either cuz she was writing it down lol. the valet people act similar like lost puppies idk what the deal is... going back to the embassy hotel much nicer and free AMAZING scones the staff is incredible there. (we only left bc we went to dallas for a few days)

Yelp
LOUD MUSIC PAST 2AM. The loud dance music coming from the area nightlife and rooftop lasted past 2AM on a Sunday. Please do not stay at this hotel if you have small children or if you plan to sleep during your stay. You will likely get no rest. We were miserable and the music is so close to the hotel that you cannot drown it out with earplugs. I love Westin hotels so it was disappointing to pay a premium price for a miserable experience. I recommend another hotel in the area if you are staying in the woodlands. There are a lot to choose from. Update - At 6AM we were told is actually was the pool music. It never stopped.

Britt Z.

Yelp
The hotel it's self was nice, location and room cleanliness were on par for Westin. Staff at check in was lovely, but beyond that it was a challenging to navigate our stay. There was no information in the room notifying us of the WiFi situation, room service, pool hours, hotel restaurant info, nothing. Even after looking on the website, it wasn't helpful. We ended up getting charged for wifi unknowingly. We had to leave and go eat at another restaurant out of the hotel because all the bartenders at the bar had their masks down or off and 50% of people staying at this hotel/walking around/bar area/pool area were NOT wearing masks. They were not enforcing any of the mask requirements so it was a very anxious stay. I wouldn't stay here again for these reasons.

Paulette S.

Yelp
Fransisco from Sorriso restaurant was amazing. We dine out a lot and his exquisite service was amazing! His recommendations were spot on! Everything was very delicious! Chef Ivan prepared an amazing meal the chicken Parmigiana and Fettuccine Alfredo within chicken and asparagus were the BEST! Please visit then and you'll NEVER be disappointed. THANK YOU!

Yelp
Stay: We booked a King Suite overlooking the Waterway It was our anniversary so we decided to get a Suite to feel like Kings for a few days and celebrate living the high-life. Unfortunately, we were pretty bummed at the overall lack of care and quality of our room. Location: Amazing - right on the Waterway in the square by the fountain. Several great restaurants within walking distance, and poppin' square at night. The Fountain and surrounding sidewalks along the waterway light up at night, so nighttime walks were great. Couldn't have picked a better spot! Amenities: So-So. The food was super pricey, but it's the Westin, so as to be expected, I guess. Nice restaurant attached that included a fun spiral staircase. The Room (King-Suite): Walking up to the door, there's a doorbell. I don't know about you, but that made me feel fancy, and thought it was a fun feature for room service. We tried opening the door with the keyless entry on the app but it didn't work at first. We were able to call the front desk to activate easily while using our physical key in the meantime. Upon walking into the front entryway, there is a small washroom away from the rest of the suite. Convenient for those needing privacy. Our bathroom door did not work and the lock was broken, so we were unable to grab the privacy we would have liked during our four-day stay. Going down the hallway from the entry, you pass a small set bar with a sink, coffee amenities, and a mini-fridge. Along the other side of the wall is a small closet. It was a one-door accordion style that could have been much larger for those longer stays, such as ours. My fiancé decided to put his clothes in the bedroom area for more space. Once you pass through the hallway, the room opens up to a large semi-circular couch situated in front of a television affixed to the wall with wrap-around windows. Truly, a beautiful view. We could see all the way to the City and watch the rain come rolling in. The view made the room. Behind the partition separating the living room is the massive King bed. So comfy and full of pillows. The sleeps were heavenly. (except for the broken blind that put sun in our eyes.) When in bed facing the partition, there's another Television with a large attached dresser underneath. There were nightstands on either side and the headboard had a nice lighting option to uplight the room for a nicer ambiance. Loved this feature. The Bathroom: When booking a stay away, besides the view, the bathroom is my favorite spot. I like it to feel like a day spa that I get all to myself, so naturally, I spend more time in there than a quick shower off. One of the reasons for picking this room was the soaking tub. A cup of tea, a book, some backlighting in a soak-tub? Sign me up. Unfortunately, the shower door was broken and wouldn't close and the cleanliness of the bath was iffy; there was hair (not ours) upon arrival in the bath, on the floor, and in the sink...wasn't the best entry. We asked housekeeping to revisit our bathroom and we don't mind stepping out for a bit. We were hungry anyway and needed to grab a bite. We came back to the room to discover the same issues we had called about still there. No one had cleaned (we had left for 2 hours). The housekeepers finally came upstairs to clean while we were in the room which was very awkward. They complained most of the time that there were too many rooms and they had skipped our room because no one was in it and they ran out of time. We were pretty surprised they admitted this. They hurriedly cleaned the bath and left. It was visibly unclean, but we were over it at that point and let it go. A few days into our stay, we noticed blood in the grout by our shower. Neither of us was bleeding and checked for cuts to be sure it wasn't us. We let housekeeping know and asked to have the bathroom cleaned again. I had coffee in the bathroom with me earlier and had spilled a little next to the spot on the grout, so it was noticeable. I didn't think I needed to point it out. When we came back to the room after housekeeping had cleaned, we were shocked to see not only the blood in the grout, but the coffee spill was still on the floor, accompanied by more hair. The overall takeaway for the Westin - they need NEW housekeeping standards of service, and or new staff to execute optimal cleanliness, especially when touting a "covid clean inspection" throughout the hotel. Simple cleanliness should not be an issue when working in Hospitality. The Westin has always been a higher-end stay, but this was not my experience at this location. We let management know about the issues during our stay, and they offered us a free breakfast buffet upon check-out. For the money and time spent at this location, and the understanding manner on our end (we didn't Karen out on them or act rudely, knowing customer service can be challenging), we thought they'd offer to be more attentive or reimburse some of our stay.

Joanna E.

Yelp
If you are ok with a very strong perfume scent in all the main spaces, and the staff at the desk providing only mediocre service and kindness then the rest of the hotel is fantastic. The pool is wonderful! The valet guys are wonderful and kind! The maid service is outstanding! Sadly we moved hotels. The strong scent was giving all of us a headache. When we got off the elevator, in all of the lobby, the library and the Starbucks space. Last time we stayed that scent wasn't there. I asked the front desk about it and they said it's a scent they use and there's nothing they can do about it. Not real kind any time we approached them. Bummed.

Dameion S.

Yelp
Visited this location while on a business trip to the area stayed for a week my stay was absolutely flawless rooms were extremely clean. After finishing up working me and some coworkers stepped out for dinner and a night on the town to explore the area.Got back to Westin late after being out on the town. After changing from being out all day came down to the lobby to wait for other team members to make it back.A member of staff (male) said the lobby is closed for nightly cleaning and asked if I had a room at the Westin.I was a bit confused because the same gentleman was downstairs when I arrived from being out for a night on the town.Rather than causing a scene me and my coworkers went to our rooms.I don't know if it is a nightly procedure to clean the lobby but we were literally just sitting there awaiting others to arrive.I'm not sure if it was the clothes I was wearing to prompt him to ask me if we had a room at the establishment or what it made me really feel like I wasn't welcome at the business and left a really bad taste in my mouth and probably will never attend the establishment again not just sure yet.

Yelp
LOUD MUSIC BLASTING FROM HOTEL NIGHT CLUB IS A BIG PROBLEM. I stayed at The Westin at The Woodlands the Friday night before running in The Woodlands Marathon. At around 10pm I noticed a loud base sound in my room. It was so loud that it overpowered my noise canceling earphones, which were blasting white noise. I called the front desk and the girl on the phone tried to blame the loud music on the "surrounding bars and restaurants" in the area, to which I informed her it sounded like it was in the hotel. After asking which room I was in, she responded, "Oh! It's loud because your room is directly above our night club." I asked if she could put me in another room because I had a 5:30am alarm. She told me she could not because the hotel was booked for the evening. She also informed me that the music would continue until around 1:30am - 2am. When I asked her if there was anything else she could do, she rudely said, "no." Another couple was leaving the hotel in the morning to walk to the race start line and they also were complaining about the loud music in the hotel, and they were staying on the ELEVENTH floor. So, you can just about image how loud the music was on the lower floors. This is UNCALLED FOR and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am aware that there are athletes who book The Westin ahead of Ironman Texas. I cannot imagine staying in that loud hotel the night before a 140.6 mile race. I will also be posting this to all of the Ironman blog and social pages so that others know what they are in for if they book The Westin at The Woodlands. YOU CAN DO BETTER, Marriott.

Marlena A.

Yelp
Don't let the beauty of the hotel fool you. There's a nightclub attached and the loud music plays until early morning . I was able to only get a few hours of sleep. Without the noise, it would have made for a satisfying stay.

Debbie B.

Yelp
Well I gave them a second chance to have them make it right and sorry to say they didn't. Started with a not so knowledgeable (me trying to be nice) front desk rep he checked me in and when I asked don't I get breakfast vouchers? His comment to me was " well are you going to use them because I have to write them out" In my eyes it shouldn't matter and I shouldn't have had to ask. They had flavored water out which was nice but no glasses left when I asked the comment was "no it shouldn't even be out anymore" I asked a few other questions during my stay and each time the friendly Westin way was totally missing. I called down for my car at valet and 2 times the valet guys knew nothing about it and told me that they forget to let them know. I decided since this was going to be my home 6 night I would get an upgraded room (NOT CHEAP) with a balcony. The room was beautiful what they forgot to mentioned The Rose night club SUPER LOUD until 3am Thursday thru Saturday when I called the front desk on Thursday the girl who answered said oh yeah it's all weekend, That would have been nice to know earlier. I will say that the property is beautiful and valet guys are awesome but the service when you walk in the door not so much. Super disappointed this time

Wes B.

Yelp
The hotel is nice and well appointed, but the service is a miss. Took forever to valet, check in, in room dining service was a pain (not enough staff or awareness of the menu). I spoke with the manager, John, and he apologized and sent up a bottle of wine and appetizer which was appreciated, and a nice touch. It was very kind of him. Unfortunately it didn't get any better. Later on I tried to charge something at the bar to my room for the points and they told me they don't allow after a certain time, which is ridiculous. There was a fight or something going on while I was grabbing a drink which surprised me, especially for a piano bar. I'm titanium elite and this hotel will not make the repeat list.

Elizabeth E.

Yelp
Avoid this hotel. Rooms are not clean. They are not ready especially if you have a group. The staff is rude, abrasive and unfortunately do not care about your experience. They do not have enough people working various parts of the hotel. Most of the longtime staff have left which is a shame. Too many other options for a better price and overall dining and hotel experience. I wish I had read the other reviews. Lesson learned

Wonderful Hotel. Definitely would never consider staying at any other hotel in the area. Everything you need is within easy walking distance. Easy valet parking when you pull up to the hotel. Our bellhop, Jim, is Awesome. Always so fun and witty. From our balcony you can see 9 restaurants, a night club, Starbucks, the Waterway Square, the Waterway & the pool. Just a heads up, the balcony can be a little noisy in the evenings on Friday & Saturday night. Not a problem for us. We love the music & the view.

Yelp
We stayed in a suite with two queen beds. Our view was beautiful, over looking the pool area. The gym was clean and featured great equipment. However, the cleanliness of our room left much to be desired. We couldn't wash our hands without the bathroom sink filling up because it was clogged with gunk and hair. There was hair all over the floor from a previous guest and the desk was sticky.

Yelp
Overall this is a great hotel but they deserve a 1 star review for their parking set up. I've stayed here a handful of times and their front desk staff often isn't very friendly compared to other hotels I've stayed at either. My main complaint however is the parking. They have a parking garage for Westin guests and charge $17 for the day regardless if you're there 12 hours or 24 hours. Whether they validate parking or not, I at least expected it to be reasonable. $17 for parking in a garage that is for Westin guests is absolutely ridiculous. For anyone coming from out of town I'd recommend parking down the street in the movie theater parking garage which is completely free.

Yelp
Very clean and upscale hotel. I checked in without any problems. The pool area is very cute and personable. There is an area just for sitting and then the pool area where you can lay out and tan or swim casually. The room was very clean. Just to get away for a moment during COVID, this was very relaxing. The view from my room was awesome. You could see the pool area and the lights near the waterway at night time. Concierge were very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Great spot! The pool was the best! We rented a Cabana. Had wonderful drinks and food options. We will definitely go back!

Yelp
Don't stay here. Strong safety concerns. I caught a maid stealing medication from my room. Went to speak to the front desk. Told them I needed it back. They sent a 1/2 bottle of red wine to apologize. I am traveling for work. Don't want anything free. DONT STAY HERE.

Yelp
I stayed here for my first ever marathon- the Woodlands marathon. We had a balcony room and it was amazing. I needed a few things and the front desk accommodated super quick. There was also a runner concierge and she was wonderful! She did a shakeout run with us the evening before, talked us through all the marathon specifics, stretched us out the morning of the race, and the hotel provided a breakfast box for runners. I didn't get my finishers shirt and she is still helping me try and get it- amazing lady! I love that the hotel has a Starbucks in the lobby and walking distance to everything in that area!

Yelp
Great hotel and spa. Clean and modern. The hotel staff was very nice. The bar was fun too.

Yelp
This hotel is perfect!! i booked a corner balcony facing the water and was superb!! the attention to details and the decor is amazing. The pool is great and it has a poolside bar available for drinks. Definitely a great location for all the local bars and shops.

Yelp
Tried to give No Stars. Front desk service is extremely rude. Paid top price for a corner room only to be kept up all night by loud pulsating music from a bar next door. Did not sleep the entire night. Staff offered sub par solutions like moving me to another hotel at my cost!! or, a room a few doors down with similar noise issues. Only stay here if you don't need sleep. Also, I echo the other reviewer's comments about the non functional usb ports and poorly designed window shades (one of which was ripped from the wall and only included a privacy shade but no black out shade). Worst hotel in Texas, possibly America.

Yelp
Hotel is in a great location and the room overall was nice but I must have been close to the 2nd floor bar (above them) or near a bar/club that played loud music. I could hear it through my window until 2 am. It def made it difficult to sleep. If you stay. I would def ask for a quiet room away from the music. There was also random banging sounds in the hallway during the night.

Yelp
We didn't take advantage of all the amenities at the hotel so the rating is based on the rooms. Rooms weren't bad but I do have to say, I hate sliding doors on the bathrooms that are never actually closed. Pair this with no fan in the bathroom, that's no fun. Valet parking was nice and front staff was very nice and accommodating if needed. The biggest down side is the fact that my brother in law stepped on a condom in his room. 1,000% sure it was left there from the previous visitors but that is by far the last thing you want to find stuck to the bottom of your foot, in your hotel room! Obviously this is an isolated incident but boy is it one that turns you off, especially when you're paying a premium price for a room.

Yelp
One of the nicer Westin hotels, that we've stayed in the past few years. Upon walking in, the Front Desk ladies (Can I specify genders these days?) were genuinely friendly, and gladly placed us on the top floor. The room- yep, typical spacious Westin room, with all of the high tech features, you'd expect these days. Did I say spacious? Oh, and the Heavenly bed made me sleep like a baby. (Or, maybe it was the Vodka.) The pool. Jesus Christ. Yeah, glass tiled, infinity pool. Cabanas. Sure. Bar service. Indeed. A group of young girls in thongs, celebrating for a bachelorette party. Damn right! [eyes up here, Scott] Location. Just leave the car with valet, and walk. A slew of restaurants, and bars, within a short walk. Oh, and valet- it's only $25, which is actually reasonable these days. Swanky property, in a superb location. Bet large on a return visit.

Yelp
This Westin is gorgeous! For our stay and experience it started with a 5, went to 4 and ended with a 3 .. The Westin emits a boutique-like tranquil feel from top to bottom: Great Setting, meeting rooms, guest rooms and lounge areas... Ta-mazing! Easy access from major roadways plus everything one could want is accessible from The Westin front door- a plethora of eateries, fitness, arts, shopping and entertainment ..all within a short walking distance. Why a 3 rating? A hotel review is unique because it's an overall package experience and that, along with the caliber and name of what The Westin is known for - the professionalism and mannerism (particularly of the front desk staff and every employee street-side to inside the lobby) need work on their hospitality game.... This is a beautiful hotel and the rooms were new and lovely.. But for the overall experience on this visit...it's not there (yet).

Yelp
This location is fantastic! The customer service not so much. The view not so much. Our room faced an office building and we could not even open our windows. We asked for hangers and an additional Robe twice. There were two of us and one Robe. Never came. There are no dressers in this room!! There are no towel racks in the bathroom! FYI parking is 22$ additional a day and they charge for internet service. Other then that it was a beautiful hotel.

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a super convenient location close to the mall, shops, and restaurants. I have been here a couple times already and every time I have been there the staff has been super accommodating. The meeting space downstairs is spacious and the restaurants inside have great food. The rooms were immaculate and they have unique amenities like exercise clothes rentals and lavender essential oil to use before bedtime. I'll definitely be coming back to stay there again.

Yelp
I LOVE this property! It's beautiful and walking distance to many shops and restaurants, including the mall, Market Street, and of course, the Waterway. Check in was easy, no mention of SPG status (seems norm here). Smells amazing like all Westins. Very bright and light. You have to swipe your room key in order to use the elevator. The room is GORGEOUS! Great view of the waterway, decorated beautifully, and "high tech". I need a panel by my bed everywhere I go with light and ac control!! There was also this Lavender and chamomile oil balm to help you sleep, which was such a lovely touch. Where it falls short of 5 stars: I feel like they nickel and dime you for everything. $11.95 for internet, parking is absurd. I paid almost $300 a night including taxes and there was significant construction on the property and no restaurants. There is one Italian place coming shortly (and listening to them complain about the collateral they put up was funny). I heard hammering for hours this morning while working. The price should have reflected the state of construction. ALSO THE CAPS WON THE CUP WHEN I WAS STAYING HERE! #ALLCAPS!

Yelp
Good, newer Starwood hotel near Anadarko and food/beverage options. The hotel itself has a nice main lobby cafe selling Starbucks along with more adult beverage choices. I've stayed here for business and leisure. The rooms are clean and spacious. Room service is 24 hours. They have a twice weekly running coach/concierge who will run with you to show you around the area. Plus, if you are part of SPG then you can leave your gear at home to pack lighter and they will give you some running shoes etc to stay on your training.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I have been coming to the woodlands for years and we always stay at the Westin! The hotel is located in the waterway District which has a lot of restaurants and walking distance to the malls which is awesome. The staff at the hotel always makes us feel at home and gives us wonderful service. The room we had was awesome. Great view of the river walk. The bed was wonderful and the shower is awesome. I really like this hotel! Again, the best thing about where it is it is walking distance to everything so you do not need to drive. The area around the hotel has a Morton's steakhouse, Grimaldi pizza, and a bar Louie! All walking distance. Plus there is an Irish pub and a toll house cookie store is there to. If y'all are ever in the woodlands area for business, shopping, or a concert... the Westin is the place! Highly recommend it!

Mary W.

Yelp
What he'll have I checked into? I am from out of town and did not know that I would be attending a live concert in my 9th floor room. Why did the front desk not tell us this when we checked in? It seems that this is an every weekend occurrence from The Rose rooftop bar next door. If you need sleep on a Friday or Saturday night, this is NOT the hotel for you!!!! And for sure not for over $300 a night!!!! Worst sleep in town. Front desk can't switch my room because our room type is only on this side of the hotel. Warn your guests at check in!!!

Yelp
Located just 1 minute walk from the convention center and Marriott hotel this hotel is $30 less per night and has better beds (heavenly bed rooms) There is a full Starbucks in the lobby and self parking is just across the street in the structure. Taco bar, Mortons steakhouse... you name it there are lots of choices. Check in was great so 5 stars on that... room service menu is good but not a WOW... I got a turkey BLT that was just so-so.... missing that wow factor of peppered bacon or some sort of great and creative aoli.. they need to up their game on room service menu.

Tyler S.

Yelp
Definitely a nice hotel on the outside and in. Staff was extremely friendly. Pool was closed so didn't get to use it but it looked nice. The reason for the 3 stars is that for being a "category 5" Marriott hotel it definitely wasn't nice enough. Biggest frustration was we had ZERO hot water in the shower. Ice cold. My wife had a migraine and tried to take a shower at about 2am to no avail. I tried again in the morning before checkout and it was just ice cold. We didn't call the front desk because checkout was in an hour. Also no options for in room entertainment. Not that this is a deal breaker by any means; but everything was closed around us so we figured we'd rent a movie but no ability too. Overall nice hotel, may try again in the future since we live in the area. But definitely going to make sure showers are working.
