We had high expectations for this resort, especially given the price and the fact that it’s an international brand, but unfortunately it did not deliver.
The crib we originally requested was broken and unsafe. The replacement was better, but this should never happen—especially when traveling with a baby. Additionally, the room had a noticeable urine smell, which was extremely disappointing.
Our flight was delayed due to mechanical issues, causing us to miss an entire day of our stay. Despite this being completely out of our control, the hotel refused to offer any refund or compensation.
The food was extremely average. For an island resort, the lack of fresh fish was surprising—everything was fried, which was not what we expected. Service was also very slow, even during non-peak hours.
That said, the island itself is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth visiting. However, the hotel experience did not meet expectations at all, especially for the price paid. I rarely leave reviews for any business, but this stay left me no choice.
If we return to this island, we would likely choose an Airbnb instead.
