My wife and I stayed here last week. The purpose of our trip was a retreat for my company’s executive management team and Board members. The hotel itself is beautiful, and recently reopened after hurricane damage repair. Sadly, service was poor. One day, our room was not made up because they were short staffed, not a big deal, but it took forever to find someone to bring us fresh linens. The restaurants are poor with limited menus and very slow service. Who wants pizza and pasta on a tropical island? It would have been much more appropriate to have a seafood catch of the day or other examples of local cuisine. They had some great frozen tropical drinks, but they still charged the same amount if it was virgin or with alcohol. The resort is conveniently located, and easy to access other parts of the island, but the beach is dismal and a long walk from the resort. I would not recommend the hotel based on the service and limited restaurant menu items.
