Easy and fast check in progress. Elevators are room key controlled with is nice for safety. The hotel is located walking distance to the mall and nearby restaurants. On site restaurant and coffee shop as well. Enough space for a few day stay. Shower had duel head, which was a nice surprise from the Atlanta heat. There were some carpet stains and the couch was well loved for the price point. Iron had something burnt on, but staff had a new one sent up quickly. AC in the hallways and lobby/conference areas was a real struggle to keep cool.

My stay at the Westin is typically mediocre and just ok. I seem to have an issue each time I stay, such as my keys not working, cold water in the shower etc, and the front desk staff is not always helpful. I also feel some rooms need updates. My room door kept getting stuck and made it hard to open. It would also be nice if microwaves were more easily assessable instead of having to go all the way downstairs. Surprised they don’t offer to bring one to the room, or at the very least have them on some of the floors. HOWEVER, my rating is still high and only that way due to the concierge lounge staff member Olabisi. I look forward to seeing her everytime I come for work. She is always so kind, and makes great conversation. I really appreciate her kindness and attentiveness. She keeps the lounge very neat and clean, and makes me comfortable. Please never let her go, as she is the reason myself and my colleagues continue to book at the Westin when we travel to Atlanta frequently, despite other options. She deserves a raise!! Please recognize her.

Great stay! The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. It’s conveniently located next to Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza, with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to food. The area is walkable and feels safe. I had a room with a nice city view, which was a great bonus. One of my favorite features was the water fountain with three dispensers—for alkaline water, still water, and sparkling water. If you drink a lot of water like I do, it’s a huge plus—you can refill your bottle instead of spending $5 on bottled water every time!

Came in from a LOOOOONG road trip with the family to stay for two nights at the Westin for an event. Great facilities, nice rooms, but most of all a great staff. Raphael at the front desk was incredibly kind and patient helping us sort out our reservation, David at the bar was friendly and helpful, and Vivian made every event more fun with her great service and smiling face. Was greeted like an old friend every morning I got coffee in the Rise cafe by Mohammed. It's not exactly budget-friendly, but you will be well-treated and have a clean room and loads of great options for dining within a 3 minute walk.

A great stay. Someone smoked in the room I was slated to stay in. Called downstairs told them about the incident. They came up with a new keycards for my new room. Loved the layout. Shower water pressure was awesome. Fridge kept my fluids cold and the bed was comfy. The staff were awesome. They run a great ship. The bed gave me that swift Mike Tyson uppercut K.O. sleep. My only regret was missing out on the pool and gym. I'll save that for my next stay when I come back to the A.

Shout out to Olabisi at the Club Lounge, she has been great host since my arrival. Olabisi is very helpful and extrmely friendly not just me but to other hotel guests. ||Hotel also in excellent location but parking fee is a bit up there, $54 a night. Thats as much as Waikiki Marriott, $60, but Waikiki it's understandable as it has limited spaces. Bed is comfy.

Google
My stay at The Westin Buckhead Atlanta was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful, with a stylish lobby featuring the Palm Restaurant and Bar. The elevators are quick and you’ll hardly ever have to wait on one. The rooms are nicely designed with a warm modern look and feel. The walk-in shower is fantastic. The staff were friendly and professional, and the housekeeping was top-notch, keeping everything spotless. It’s a great choice for a comfortable, upscale stay!

Yelp
Came here for a conference. I stayed down the street while my colleagues stayed here. They didn't seem to mind it. They rated it 3 stars. Id probably agree with them as I review them for a conference space + breakfast that I had here. Nothing too spectacular. I think service was super hospitable. There are big beautiful windows that let in so much light. A/v and tech people were a little slow to respond at times. There are elevators that can carry you to the ballrooms but there's a long hallway you need to walk down to get to the spots. Water are in each room with compostable cups. There is a restaurant in the bottom of the hotel which is a bit pricey. It's called The Palm. It's okay food. But really nice people there. There is a coffee spot next to the valet entrance.

Yelp
I've stayed at this property twice now and it's a solid Westin. You know what you're going to get: -Heavenly beds with good linens -spacious (if a little soulless) rooms with plenty of outlets and lighting options -that signature Green Tea scent What this Westin has that makes it a little more awesome: a water bar in the middle of the lobby! So take your bottle and fill to your heart's content (sparkling, distilled, and one or two other varieties that I am forgetting). I love this feature. Location: right next to a mall in the middle of Atlanta (otherwise not a ton of things in walking distance). Parking situation: garage that is attached. Very convenient It would be nice if the bar didn't shut down at 10pm so you could get a nightcap but in these post-COVID times, it's the norm, I suppose.

Yelp
A nice hotel for a conference. Updated rooms were nice with a good city view. Had drinks with colleagues in the lounge by the Palm Restaurant in hotel. Meeting rooms were good. The conference had very tasty food from hotel. Nearby restaurants are good and fun to walk through Lenox mall across the street. I wish they had a pool or spa.

Yelp
My son and I stayed at the Westin Buckhead the evening before the 4th of July Peachtree Road Race. We had a wonderful stay and this property totally met our needs. Our sole purpose was to stay near the start line so we wouldn't have to drive in, in the morning. We were able to explore Lennox Square, walk to dinner, take the Marta back to Buckhead, walk to coffee and more. If you're looking for a great property in the area, I'd say the Westin is a good option. I also love that should we have wanted a little bite to eat or coffee before the race, their in room dining began at 630a. This is a game changer. I love a hotel that can get you a bite to eat before a race. Our room was comfy and it was fun to be on a high floor and able to watch the race. I love the Buckhead area and the peachtree race always provides such a warm (no pun intended, it was 90 degrees) sense of community. So many families are in the area the night before the race. I love it! Valet parking is $59, loved that a lot less.

Yelp
The Westin Buckhead is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city, where tranquility meets top-notch service. From the moment you step into your room, you're enveloped in a serene cocoon of quietude - it's like a retreat from the hustle and bustle outside. The staff at The Westin Buckhead is nothing short of exceptional, providing a level of hospitality that goes above and beyond to make your stay truly memorable. Whether you need restaurant recommendations or extra towels, they're always there with a smile and a willingness to help. And let's talk about the heavenly bed - it's a game-changer, a slice of sleep paradise that is truly unbeatable by any other hotel in the universe. The plush bedding, the cloud-like mattress, it's like drifting off to dreamland on a fluffy white cloud. If you're looking for a luxurious and peaceful stay with unparalleled service, look no further than The Westin Buckhead. It's a haven of comfort and relaxation that sets the bar high for hotels everywhere. #SleepingOnCloudNine #WestinWonders

Yelp
This is an older hotel but well-maintained. The staff was great, everyone I interacted with was courteous and friendly which always makes a big difference. I was in the suite on the 21st floor which was spacious and had a great view. Rounding up to 4 stars for having a great gym including free weights and a barbell which you usually don't find at a hotel gym.

Yelp
I loved my stay at the Westin hotel buckhead! We had our work event there and it was great. My room was comfortable and I was OBSESSED with the comforter in the room! My room was very clean too. The event was perfect and the food that was served was fantastic. I am looking forward to my next trip here!

Yelp
No refrigerator. No microwave. No complimentary water bottles. No trash can in bathroom. 6 ounce glass of wine $16. I'm not sure there is anything great about this hotel. Will not return.

Yelp
Our book club conference used this hotel recently. Easy check in, clean rooms, accommodating staff made my stay comfortable.

Yelp
Nothing wrong with it as a convention center. Super close to Lenox Mall and a great range of shops. Unusual to not have water or any refreshments, but that maybe had been at the request of the presenters. The restaurant is expensive but serves average food, which several folks at the conference shared. They do have a Starbucks with one barista and valet parking. But $30 per day with no in and out, had lots of folks complaining. Well if it isn't the usual Buckhead trying to be heyday fabulous...sigh.

Yelp
My second time staying here. I am a platinum elite member and try to exclusively stay at Marriott properties. Hotel is nice and has great amenities. However , they are cutting corners with cleaning. After getting out of the shower and grabbed a towel to dry off, I felt something sharp run across my face. When I look I see this on the towel. It was gross and caused me to hop right back into the shower. The towel was folded in a way that you wouldn't see the crusty stain, but definitely something you couldn't miss when being cleaned/folded by the attendants. Told the housekeeper and they just said sorry.

Yelp
I recently stayed at the Westin Buckhead for business travel. My room was clearly not vacuumed when I checked in. I immediately saw something on the floor as I walked in, then I saw 1/2 a Pringles chip in the corner, and other trash right in front of the night stand. Unfortunately, I could not check out because we were hosting a conference the next day. On the plus side, I called the front desk and they sent someone up to vacuum when I went down to dinner. Good location but unfortunately this hotel has too many cleaning issues to write a positive review.

Yelp
I don't have words to express my disappointment. It is still hard to believe this happened to me in a hotel like this. My 3 shopping bags from the back seat of car (which was under the hotel valet service) were stolen by hotel employees and the hotel management didn't seem much surprised like it was something they often experience. Bags had some merchandise I had indented to return to the high end shopping mall across the street worth big $$. No action has been taken by the hotel management including the corporates. The thief could have been easily traced due to surveillance cameras but hotel staff was not willing to do it. What a shame that i am an elite Marriott member with high status up and still this is how the incident was handled. I have lost all my loyalty with the brand.

Yelp
I'm not sure what cleaning protocol they are using but it was non-existent in this room. I no words for the level of disappointment experienced but this is not like any other Westin hotel I stayed at. Scheduled to be here for a week; checked out in under 2 hours -just long enough to rebook elsewhere. ZERO STARS! 1 selected to post review.

Yelp
This location is a delightful experience on so many levels. A Palm Restaurant inside a Westin Hotel is a match made in heaven. 2 beautifully paired examples of excellent style and service are hard to come by. Look no further and enjoy your stay here, I implore you. The restaurant manager, Brian Jones, is an absolute gem. He exudes true hospitality in every sense of the word. Please check this place out on your next trip-I promise you it's worth it!!! A true gem in Buckhead!! Thank you Brian!!!

Yelp
I was subjected to an extremely disturbing and unacceptable treatment at Westin Hotel in Buckhead Atlanta. TLDR: I came back to my room after a long day at work and couldn't get into my room. When I finally got in, all of my stuff was gone. The hotel offered no explanation and eventually found my bag after over an hour. Three items were missing and hotel has zero accountability. I just want my items replaced. The cost is under $100 and they refuse to help me. Here is a timeline of the events that happened on March 12 - 13 2022: 4.30pm I checked my room and left my personal belongings before leaving immediately for work. 12.30am I returned back to the hotel and tried to enter room, but the key didn't work. The wait took about 30 minutes. 1am Front desk issues a new key card. I gain entry to room but all of of my personal belongings are completely missing. 1.08am: The front desk informs me that my room has been moved without informing me and my personal belongings must have been moved. Front desk issues key cards for new room. 1.20am The key cards for new room do not work. I return to the front desk for new ones. 1.25am The new key cards for room again do not work either. 1.30am The 3rd set of key cards issues for room do not work. I return to the front desk who then calls engineering. 1.45am Engineering arrives and is unable to open the door. Engineering keeps trying. 2.45am Westin security comes to the front desk with my personal items packed away in my bag. Meaning someone touched my clothing and other items and put it in my bag and moved it to security. No one can explain why or how this happened. 3am I leave the hotel due to being too upset and feeling too unsafe to stay there. I realized I have three items missing from my bag and the hotel doesn't care.

Yelp
Such a wonderful welcoming and attentive staff. That's about all I got. 32 self parking! 45 valet! 350 room! 14 for a shot, 16 for a microwave brownie! Old interior, non thrilling room, view of a parking lot. I've been to several different hotels in ATL and this was the most expensive and most lack luster. No idea why everything was so much. I would not suggest this place except the wonderful staff.

Yelp
First time staying at this Westin and I was quite pleased. It's I'm a great location, situated right next across for Lenox Mall and surrounded by lots of good restaurant choices. The lobby is beautiful and spacious and the rooms were comfortable to be in (though I wish the shower was a tad bigger). I got a good night's rest and the continental breakfast that was provided with my room in the morning was quite satisfactory. Shout out to Markese at the front desk! He was very pleasant and professional and made my stay even more wonderful. I commend Management/Corporate for making the appropriate staff changes, given the nightmare of an experience reported in some of the earlier reviews. Well done, and I would happily recommend visiting the Westin Buckhead now :)

Yelp
This hotel is in a prime location! Close to both Phipps plaza and Lenox square. It is walking distance to both malls but Lenox square is definitely walking distance. I don't like that there's a daily parking fee. It's $42/night for valet and $32/night for self parking. Way too much! When we got to the hotel the valet staff was not helpful at all with directing us to the self parking lot we ended up in a wrong parking lot. We ended up paying the valet fee which I hated but I found the parking lot to self park on the last day...i would def just park there next time especially with the number of times I left my hotel room it would have been easier to self park. Also valet usually took awhile to get the car. April checked us in. She was very nice and accommodating. The rest of the staff were also nice and always asked about the stay, how we were doing etc. he room was huge, clean, bathroom was a decent size as well. Housekeepers kept the rooms clean. The elevators always took awhile which was annoying. I also noticed on the second night that the housekeeper didn't refill the water. We went to the front desk and we were told water is only complimentary on the first night and that only the platinum members receive water daily. We had only received ONE water bottle and also it's pretty ridiculous how something like water is considered a luxury! We brought water from cvs but we shouldnt had needed to do that. It's also dog friendly which was a plus. No charge for pets

Yelp
Recently stayed here for 2 nights on a Friday-Sunday get away with my husband. Really great price per night considering the location, and how nice this hotel is. It is much bigger inside then it appears on the outside, beautiful decor and very polite staff. Just across the parking lot from the Lenox mall, with tons of great high end shopping and restaurants. Upon checking in, we received a complimentary bottle of wine, and upgraded to the club level. Club level is on the 21st floor, starting at 5:30pm they serve heavy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. For breakfast they have a large array of pastries, oatmeal, bacon, sausage, eggs, coffee, juice, tea, I could go on and on. Very laid back and relaxing to have breakfast with a beautiful view. The room was spotless, clean, and sleek. Parking is self parking or valet which is nice considering most hotels in the area are valet only which can get pricy quick if you are staying longer then one night. They also have a bar and the palm restaurant in the main lobby. I would most definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I have been here about 4 hrs and I have had EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! The two doormen, the two gentleman at the the desk (one is a manager), the gentleman who greeted me at The Palm, and my waitress...#ChefsKiss

Yelp
I was highly under impressed considering the rate to stay here!! I was expecting luxury but instead got very subpar! The body wash in the bathroom was empty which makes me wonder did they even clean or check the room between guests! The phone did not work in the room so we had to go downstairs to request more towels. I'm not impressed nor will I come back again!

Yelp
They get a one for striving to be mediocre and treating their frequent guests poorly. Platinum guests usually get a breakfast included ..... which seems reasonable for the money you ultimately spend at their hotels but at the Westin Buckhead you get a $10 voucher for the coffee shop. Then at the coffee shop a breakfast sandwich and coffee is $13.50 so they ask you for the $3.50....I'm giving them a 1 to say the little things do matter especially in these social media days.

Yelp
For this hotel to be in Buckhead, it falls short. Im not sure why their rooms still have shower curtains. Ugghh Then, there were signs prohibiting pale from not wearing masks; however, nobody was held accountable. The decor looks old and a renovation is definitely needed. The bed sleeps nice and the views were nice as well, but they need an upgrade.

Yelp
I enjoyed everything about this hotel! Customer service was at all time high. It was a beautiful view outside of our window. Walking distance to Lenox mall!

Yelp
I am so deeply disappointed with my stay this last Wednesday and Thursday .The lady who answers the phones whose name i believe is Patina was beyond rude to me and my 11 year old daughter. Every time i called down to get information about the area we were staying in she hung up on me . When i had my husband call down to request a extra set of bedding for our pull out couch she said "fine " and hung up on him to . So i decided to call and ask for a manager and she basically yelled at me and said " I ALREADY TOLD YOU THERE IS NO MANAGEMENT AVAILABLE TO SPEAK TO YOU" and hung up again . Out of all the hotels ive stayed in over the years this has to be my worst experience. She should not be working in hospitality

Robert H.

Yelp
Several negatives for this hotel. The room, carpet, furniture was all grimy. The lamp next to the bed was broken--I mean snapped and broken! The bedside table was discolored. The coffee maker was cheap low rent junk. How does house keeping not replace the broken lamp, and why was a customer put into a room that grimy? The carpet was old. I walked down the corridor to my room several times a day from Saturday to Tuesday. The same broken piece of cracker was laying on the hallway carpet even though housekeeping was out there. No one runs a vacuum at this hotel. That's obvious. Clearly no one at the Westin walked through the rooms during covid and considered updating anything. The carpet in the elevators was matted down and filthy. FILTHY. The tub was clearly from the 80s or 90s. Out dated. There was even a hole in the bathroom wall that clearly someone's head or fist went through. Westin, you all need to up your game. I will be taking my business elsewhere. No question.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta from July 20 - July 28 2019. I visit Atlanta a few times a year to see family, especially after my sister's passing last year from cancer. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and tend to stay in Marriott affiliated hotels, especially the Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter and the W. I decided this time to try the Westin Buckhead Atlanta. My first interaction with the hotel was great, I was able to check in to the hotel early and the young lady I spoke with was very professional and accommodating. I looked forward to spending the next 8 days & nights at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta. I was truly enjoying my stay at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta until an unfortunate incident on July 26th. After returning from using the gym facility, I noticed my room had been cleaned, and remembered I had left some jewelry in the glass on the right side of the sink. When I came into the bathroom, both glasses were turned over as usual when housekeeping had cleaned my room, but my jewelry was not under the glass turned over or placed anywhere is visible sight. I looked on the floor and all around the bathroom with no success. I figured maybe housekeeping placed the jewelry near the bed or somewhere else in plain view; that was not the case. I am a very neat and clean person, so all housekeeping had to do was make my bed and change the towels out. After realizing my jewelry was not in the room, I knew the housekeeper who had been cleaning the rooms on my floor all week was down the hall. I proceeded to go down the hall and talk to the housekeeper. I asked her where she placed my jewelry. She was the last one in my room, so I asked if she placed it somewhere. The housekeeper denied ever seeing my items, and at this time whomever was doing security was also on the floor. I took him back to the room and explained the situation. One of the responses from the security guard as I was informing him of the situation was, "You should use the safe in the room." If I felt I would need to use the safe for being out of my room for an hour to workout, then I wouldn't be staying at the Westin. The security guard took my information and said he would need to also get the management who was in charge of housekeeping. After leaving my room, I waited several hours before security and the manager of housekeeping returned. I was already late to meet my parents, and had to let them know what was going on... I again explained to them what had happened and they took my information and said they would start an investigation. They informed me that because it was the weekend, I may not hear anything until Monday because the proper management was not at the facility, but security would give me a call about the investigation. Security gave me a call the same day just after 3pm and informed me their investigation has turned up nothing, but management will be giving me a call on Monday or Tuesday to follow up and I could file a police report. I was amazed the investigation was quicker than the entire process of me informing them what had occurred. What was also upsetting was how unprofessional the security guard was when he called. In the hospitality business, when is it appropriate to call a guest by their first name? I never told him in this process to call me by my first name. When the security guard called me, he asked for me by my first name only. After asking multiple times in a calm manner who is supervisor, he said his supervisor was not around either over the weekend and I would be contacted by his supervisor the following week. I found it odd that everyone of importance was gone before 3pm on a Friday? And I had to wait until next week to speak with proper management? From the beginning I felt like I was being given the runaround. The next day, to my surprise I hear the same housekeeper in the hallway 2 doors down. Call me crazy, but why would I place the same housekeeper who has been accused by a guest of stealing on the same floor with said guest. It felt like a slap in the face as a guest, and what if I was some crazy guest who decided to go off on the housekeeper? If I'm management I am placing her on another floor until the guest has checked out, basic common sense. The ball was dropped in so many ways during this process, and it's disappointing. It is 3 months later, and I still have not heard from anyone management/ head of security) as I was supposed to the following week... unacceptable. Word of mouth is a powerful thing and you never know who you're dealing with and who they know. I can't escape this experience because people know I travel to Atlanta and ask where do I recommend to stay or hold a gathering whether it be business or pleasure. Guess what story I have to tell them about my experience at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta. A week that started off so well, ended so bad.

Yelp
For those that remember, the Buckhead Westin used to be the Swiss Hotel. Seated right at the corner of the most prominent shopping district within 500 miles, the Buckhead Westin is immediately adjacent to Lenox Square and 1/4 of a mile from Phipps Plaza. The Westin has undergone a major renovation to rooms, though the upgrades tend to aim towards bathroom updates and bedding. Wifi, now considered a mandatory feature for a hotel to be considered competent is available...at the blistering cost of over $12 / day. Perhaps more troubling, the connections are UNENCRYPTED. Unless you use a corporate laptop with a VPN, it is not advised to connect to unencrypted wifi. The bathrooms are very large with quality fixtures. We noticed that in our upgraded room, the hair dryer was broken (but the hotel immediately replaced it with a new one). There is also a heater directly in front of the commode alcove that appeared broken (we've not yet put in a service call for that). Television service in the room is provided by what appears to be satellite service. Normally, this would not matter except that recent bad weather meant that for several hours, there was no signal available. The in-room fridge worked very well (I actually managed to create a supercooled fluid - when I poured a bottled water I had kept in the fridge, it immediately turned to a semi-solid in the glass!!) Complimentary water refreshed daily was a very welcome surprise. In room dining for the WIN! We were both pleasantly surprised by the quality of ingredients and preparation. Yes, in room dining will be expensive. Sandwiches, sodas, and soup will run you about $90 (with service and delivery fees). Appetizer, mains, sodas, and desert will run you a hair over $150. Still - sometimes convenience is king and thankfully the hotel does not appear to be heavy handed on the salt level (plus, for those that want or need it...many low calorie / gluten free options identified). VERY NICE TOUCH - when we headed out the door on Christmas to visit with friends and family, we noticed the hotel had left a Christmas stocking stuffed with little goodies. It really put a smile on our faces and was a wonderful and unexpected touch. Major kudos to whomever championed that effort at the hotel. Overall, our stay has been most pleasant. Parking is fairly pricey, but not inconsistent with most higher end hotels in the area. Not sure if our comparison to our stay at the Mandarin Oriental is a fair one (when we stayed there, the hotel had just come into operation...plus, we perhaps unfairly compared it to the SUPERIOR Mandarin Oriental Tokyo). That said, I think we will elect the Westin over the Mandarin on our next trip to Atlanta. Stay well, my friends.

Yelp
So me & my bf stayed at the Westin from Saturday until Thursday. The bar staff especially my Mandy made our stay incredible... the best! For some reason our videos in our room were double charging us two days in a row & tamper at the front desk was rude as hell... I told her the problem & she cut off all the movie functions all together. She was the worst part about my stay & ive been here several times. She didn't try to work with us she didn't try to accommodate us, she just didn't care. I've never stayed here & got this type of treatment everyone is always so helpful

Yelp
The rooms were nice, but I've been trying to get my bill that was promised at checkout that I would be emailed. I've been calling and they keep hanging up on me. They were nice when we were there, but I want to see my bill to see if we were charged properly. I'm very frustrated.

Yelp
For a 4 star rated hotel this is one of the least impressive Westin's I have stayed in. I can't say how many Westin I have been in it lets just be on the safe side and says it's a dozen. The rooms for fairly tiny. The fitness area is underwhelming to say the MOST. The staff don't even acknowledge your presence. (Obviously at the counter areas they will greet you but if you're just walking past you basically don't exist.) All in all. The location is quite good. Walking distance to nearly anything you want. Mile or so away from a Whole Foods. Two coffee places within maybe a quarter mile. But for the price. I could have stayed at a 5 star down the street for literally $5 more a night. Next time I'll do a slightly better search because Westin being "tried and true" has definitely fallen off.

Yelp
Truly enjoyed my stay at the Westin. The entire staff I interacted with was so welcoming. Shoutouts to Mike, Jeffrey, my girl, D, the three bell man that helped me with my luggage. I'm am truly thankful. My bed was more comfortable than I can describe. I had a perfect view of Lenox Square and I was in walking distance of some tasty restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and can't wait to visit.

Yelp
Homeless living in lobby bathrooms, conference rooms and parking area by constantly moving from spot to spot to avoid detection. I know hotel is slow, but time to step it up on your investment in security. Way too nice of a hotel to have to deal with this safety risk as a guest.

Yelp
Wonderful lobby and location... With very strange layout of junior suite.... Half contemporary, half dated back to 60-70's, one walks through a cavernous, uncomfy bathroom to the closet to hang clothes. Entire bathroom is old; one turns away from an old stand-alone sink and must turn around & take 3 paces to towel rack. Showerhead by Kohler--soo comfortable. Lounge stinks.... Food sparse, service not great, but gym, with 24 hr access, is nice and updated, though also with odd layout. Our room very spacious. High-end Lenox Sq mall across street. $22/day parking.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel I must say... the staff is very nice and room service is good. The showers are clean and stay hot foreverrrrrrr... the only issue I had was with valet.. when I pulled to valet they asked me if I was a staying guest and I said yes and he looked at me and said "valet is full, but self pay parking was underneath valet", I told him my boyfriend will not be happy about this and proceeded to call him and the man had a change of mind and said he would take my car. I felt like he was being very bias. And the day I was checking out the maid came in my room before check out time and didn't announce herself or knock before entering, she did apologize but it was very weird to me...either way the pool is heated and the food is good..

Yelp
Such a poorly run and managed hotel. Their operating practices are unsanitary and disgusting. Maybe a health hazard? They can't get things correct the first time and even when reporting problems, the issues repeat and even worsen. Went first for dinner and tried to use two hand sanitizers on the Miami entrance both empty. Reported it to the front desk and asked them to fix it. Three days later I returned to the hotel for lunch and the men's restroom is completely out of paper hand towels to dry your hand, with no effective way to dry your hands. Guests are forced to use Kleenex evidently so much one ran out too and only one had some left. Another guest was as disgusted as I was. Then, I go down to the entry level and the same hand sanitizers at the main level elevators and front entrance are both empty and not working just like the same situation 3 days earlier. How pathetic. I tried to spend 25 minutes reaching any manager to address the issue. Left on hold or just sent to voice mails. There were not even any guests at the front desk when I was leaving. Just some staff standing around. I'm done. Will not stay at this poorly operated hotel. Destroys trust in both the Westin and Bonovy brand. Guess what folks you are failing to deliver even the bare minimum basics. Your business will surely go down as a result. Such a shame.

Yelp
We have stayed here several times and are always happy. This last time we came for my husband's birthday weekend. Check-in was very smooth despite the fact that they were overbooked. They made sure that we were able to have a room with 2 beds since our daughter was with us. The room was very clean and spacious. The disappointing thing was that there was a wedding in the hotel and the volume of the dance music was audible from our room until at least 2am. The location of the hotel is fantastic if you want to go shopping because it's across the street from Lenox Mall. Just walk out the front door and you're in the mall within minutes. No need to deal with traffic and parking!

Yelp
Considering the challenges of Covid-19, I was prepared for lower levels of service, but was completely unprepared for how badly services had declined at The Westin. No hot breakfast options and a makeshift Starbucks in the motor lobby greet you in the morning. And trying to get a beer at 4pm was a 30+ minute wait, and the first three beers our party tried to order were not available, despite being on the beverage list. To make matters worse, the Palm bar closed at 10pm on a Saturday. This is not a full service hotel, and the shortcomings are not made clear on the Marriott booking site. Travelers beware!

Yelp
We arrived, were provided excellent service with one hiccup that was recovered by the manager, Jeffrey. I think had he been present, the hiccup wouldn't have happened. Celebrating our friend's birthday was an excellent experience! Thank you to Jeffrey, Sidney and Marquis. Thank you again and we will be back!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, great location, but the staff that I had the displeasure of speaking my with were incredibly rude, and had absolutely no respect or empathy, along with apparently no desire to be there. My father, his friend and I stayed here last night, we got 2 rooms which ended up being like 600 WITH the explore discount. My father is titanium elite and his friend is ambassador elite, which I thought earned you "loyalty" we have stayed at countless bonvoy properties and never had an issue but my father does have night terrors. I left the room around 5 am to go explore a bit, it being my second time in Atlanta. I come back about an hour later to my father being berated by a squad of police, a harness 45 year old man in his pajamas. I find out that he not only woke up to security in his room saying they were getting the cops, and that he was being escorted off the property for "several noise complaints over the past few hours" but that not he, I, or anyone else would be able to go upstairs to look for his dental plate. I was in the room most of that time, I heard no noises from him, received no phone calls about noise complaints, and could hear nothing but his regular mild annoying snoring. So, being from North Carolina, but not wanting to leave behind that very expensive piece of dental work, we have had to stay another night in another hotel. The Westin advised us we would have to wait until housekeeping came in, which we did, and nothing. I just called back at 4 PM and the woman acted so incredibly inconsiderate and like I was such an inconvenience, and told me the room hadn't been touched and she couldn't make any promises on when it would be because they're busy. Meanwhile my father is missing his entire bottom row of teeth and hasn't even eaten, doesn't want to talk or smile, he's embarrassed, he's wasting money and missing work staying in Atlanta. And they can't just send someone up or let one of us take 5 minutes to look for the teeth in the room! Unacceptable and it's going to lose them, and bonvoy a lot of good business. My father is too passive to say anything, by the time the police arrived, he was up, terrified because someone was in his room?!?! WHY? And already completely packed, he just didn't want to cause any fuss and thought we would be able to retrieve the teeth. This is not the type of service we expect from Marriot/bonvoy. I can't believe I'm even writing this because we are die hards, literally won't stay with anyone that's not bonvoy, but if this can't be fixed I can't speak for my dad or his Buddy but I know I won't step foot into another. Shame on that woman, every one of us is in hospitality. If you don't care about people or can't at least pretend to care, and be kind, then you're in the wrong business!

Yelp
Buckhead hotels can be expensive and overpriced. The Westin is not either. It's well lit, spacious, clean, and fairly priced. I stay here every time in Buckhead because they deliver the best experience and honor guests' SPG (Marriott) status. The managers and staff are outstanding. The loacation is the best in Buckhead, especially if you want to be close to Lenox Mall.

Yelp
The Westin was fantastic. We were booked in another hotel nearby which was so awful we left upon opening the room door. We came to the Westin at 11pm and were treated like royalty. The desk manager (Michael) was so polite and kind he single handily saved our vacation. Traveling with three kids is not easy - rolling into a hotel at 11pm without reservations is even more difficult. Michael was able to get us into adjoining rooms which were perfect. parking was a breeze as it was a weekday. The rooms were nicely updated with huge bathrooms. The bed was great and very comfortable. It felt clean and appeared a lot of care was taken to sanitize the rooms before our arrival. Unfortunately then came Friday night. I'm not sure whats happening in Buckhead, but its like the set of The Fast & the Furious. There was street racing all night right in front of the hotel. 19 floors up gave us a front row view. Cars were burning rubber and revving engines until 5am. We never saw a single police car - its like the cops are afraid to even confront street racers. This is clearly not the hotels fault, but I would hope the Westin, Intercontinental and Waldorf get together and compel the city to address it. The mall right next door was an interesting experience. We visited to find private guards, dogs, metal detectors, sheriffs at the door and a Police substation inside! Dunno know whats happening but the hotels bartender told us there were several murders there recently. Again, not the hotels fault, just be aware of things when you plan a trip.

Yelp
Check in was easy breezy beautiful Jerome!! So nice! Could NOT ask for better service. Accomated us to the Club Lounge and it's wine time! Perhaps the low eating was from before but now since they've been aquired by Marriott the level of attention has improved gretky! Our rooms are nice, clean and spacious!! JR SUITE. Happy to be here! Thanks Jerome!!

Yelp
The Westin Buckhead is my hotel of choice when staying in Atlanta. The hotel is elegant, quiet, and I am always given excellent customer service. Omar Siolney checks us in often. He remembers us, remembers our requests, and does his best to accommodate our needs. As a Bonvoy member, I have been upgraded, given amenities, and am always given efficient check-in service. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for value, comfort, and a personalized experience. Thank you, Omar and staff!

Yelp
This is a pretty hotel, when you walk in the bar looks very inviting. The front desk staff were great. My room was decent however this was no heavenly bed...I'm not sure when the Westin stopped doing the heavenly bed? Also the bar is not part of the hotel, it's part of the Palm restaurant so it closes at like 8 PM, what is that?? If you want to have a drink before bed, you're out of luck or they recommend walking down to the neighboring bar. It's odd. The Buckhead area is nice, plenty of restaurant options. Just not impressed with this hotel and I've stayed at a lot of Westin's.

Yelp
If you're visiting Atlanta and want nice accommodations, look elsewhere--Westin Buckhead Atlanta is not it. Loud, obnoxious patrons throughout. Screaming and hollering all night. The smell of illicit substances in every floor. Might as well be a halfway house. After checking in, the smell was so strong and pungent, we requested different rooms...twice. Should have just checked out and left at that point. Front desk does nothing to deal with it. Avoid at all costs and spend your money elsewhere--you'll be thankful you did.
