The Westin Governor Morris, Morristown

We used The Westin Governor Morris as our hotel room block for our wedding and truly couldn’t have had a better experience. From start to finish, the team made everything seamless—and as a bride, that peace of mind is priceless. One of the biggest highlights was the shuttle transportation they coordinated for our guests. They handled all the logistics—timing, pick-ups, drop-offs—so I didn’t have to worry about a single detail. Knowing our guests would get to and from the venue safely and on time allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our day. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous the hotel was—from the elegant lobby to the spacious rooms. We also hosted our welcome dinner at Blue Morel and the food was absolutely phenomenal. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend. We stayed in the presidential suite on our wedding night which was an experience in itself. The room is stunning, spacious, and felt so special for the occasion. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us throughout the weekend, and we genuinely felt celebrated and supported every step of the way. It’s designed with wedding mornings in mind and is such a convenient and beautiful space to start your day. If you’re getting married in the area, The Westin Governor Morris is a must—from the guest experience to the top-notch service and convenience, they exceeded our expectations in every way.

I was so happy to see decent mirrors and lighting at this hotel. Normally at Hiltons I struggle to do hair and makeup properly so this was a welcome treat. Mitchell at the door was the sweetest and he always made sure to take care of my in laws during my entire stay.

The staff was very friendly. I did not feel that the bar was accommodating at all. We had an after party after a wedding. We were not allowed to sit. We were corralled into a very small space like a bunch of cattle. It was very unpleasant. My first night's stay was fabulous. The next day, the pool was dirty and not cleaned until around 11:00 AM even though it opened at 9 AM. There was no air conditioning my second night there, and it was horrendous! I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I'm hoping to be compensated.

Bed comfortable, windows in room don’t open, bathrooms old & tiny. Noisy - 3 weddings over weekend with guests talking below our window until 4am! Shower impractical with handheld not able to swivel making shower uncomfortable & inconvenient to use. Property very dated for the price. Fitness equipment rusted & old. Pool ok. Coffee bar only open in morning with limited options.

S/o Eduardo for his wonderful service and kindness to my family. We need more people like him in customer service. He makes a person want to come back! S/o to the restaurant on site. Wonderful and kind staff. The food is top tier. The rooms, are a big problem, Westin. Let’s talk about it. My room was so so dirty, the curtains were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and I was bitten in my bed a few times. I don’t like that. Do something about that immediately. My kids really enjoyed themselves. Let’s keep things cleaner for the little ones at the very least. Please. Thank you.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown! From the moment we arrived, Mitchel went above and beyond—he helped us bring in our bags, gave us a warm welcome, and even showed us around the property. His attention to detail and kindness truly made us feel special. The ladies at the front desk were also incredibly sweet and helpful. They made check-in quick and easy, and were always ready with a smile whenever we had a question. Later on, when we ran into a minor issue, Petro stepped in right away. He resolved the problem immediately and did so with such a positive attitude—it really made all the difference. Between the warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location (just a short 5–10 minute Uber from the best area in Morristown), we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing stay here! The room was beautiful and the amenities were sensational. I’d also like to mention that attendant Anthony was the nicest and most caring person. Thank you all so much, can’t wait to be back!
