The Westin Josun Seoul

We usually go for midrange hotels, but as it was our first time in Seoul, we decided to go up a notch. Great location, and the hotel is a pick-up and drop-off point for the K Limousine bus and other day trips, which makes life really easy. Didn't bat an eyelid and extended our checkout to 2pm. Breakfast wasn't included in our booking and didn't eat at the restaurants, but we did enjoy a cocktail in the bar. |The bed was really comfy, and the pillows perfect for me - always important!|The staff are friendly and attentive without being stuffy!|Great location with metro stations nearby and the crazy nighttime bustle of Myeongdong a short walk.

Six stars for service. The concierge helped us get tickets for a baseball game because you can’t buy them with an American card. All of the employees were friendly, polished, and spoke great English. The breakfast at the Westin Club was excellent and changed a little each day which I appreciated. The location of the hotel is also great. Other reviews mention the hotel seeming dated, I don’t think so. I think the style of the hotel is classic and timeless and the premises are incredibly well maintained and clean. Our room was certainly very nice. This was my first trip to Seoul and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I return. Everyone who works here deserves commendation.

That was amazing experience to be in this hotel. Helpless and kindness which we didn’t sow around the world. Breakfast buffet has many options. Food is so delicious that you don’t know what to choose. Really nice is swimming pool area with sauna part. I can highly recommend this plays. It’s also close to many attractions for visiting.

This is my new favourite hotel, based mainly on the impeccable service. The hotel style is classic and timeless, so to me it did not feel dated. The staff went above and beyond accommodating every request with a smile, including adding an extra bed for a couple of nights and some complimentary spa access. We really like the lobby bar/lounge but it’s as expensive as you would expect (some good deals on whisky while we were there). We stayed a total of 9 nights with a short trip to Japan in between. It’s hard to imagine staying elsewhere when we visit Seoul in the future. The location is very central and excellent and you can walk or take the subway readily. We did find traffic in the area (and Seoul in general) to be extremely busy. We did not eat any meals, but the spa and pool and gym are first rate. We leave tomorrow morning and we will miss the place and especially the wonderful staff!

I recently traveled to Seoul with my elderly father, and our stay at The Westin was truly wonderful.|As an elite member, we were upgraded to a junior suite, which was especially helpful and comfortable for traveling with my father. Special thanks to Ms. Ella Nam and Ms. Ping Ko for arranging the room and kindly assisting us with our questions throughout the stay.|While breakfast at the restaurant and the club lounge cocktail hour were average, all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made a big difference in our experience.|We would be very happy to stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul.

Location was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately for us, on our last night (16 August 2025) and up to checkout (17 August 2025), the A/C seemed not to function normally as the room was very warm, stuffy and humid amidst the super hot summer. Other than the warm and stuffy room on our last night till check out, all things were good. Not sure if it’s the malfunction of the A\C or the hotel’s intention to save costs on power.

I don’t normally write reviews but this hotel deserves 5/5 stars! This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at because the service is amazing, rooms are clean and spacious, staff are all friendly and extremely helpful, location is great, facilities like gym and pool are maintained well. Can take the KAL airport limo right to the hotel and it’s right by Myeongdong which is awesome for shopping and the metro station is nearby as well. Also the Aria buffet is 30% off for hotel guests on weeknights and was delicious. I will def be staying here again next time I am in Seoul.

We arrived late in the day from Bangkok and the kids were wearing thin after a long transit time. Thankfully, we were greeted by a very welcoming team at the Westin Josun. Zoey, our client contact, helped us settle in by arranging dinner at The Aria (in the hotel), as well our family breakfasts for our stay. We were able re-orient ourselves quickly thanks to her assistance. Without hesitation, I would re-book this Westin property.
