The Westin Josun Seoul

This is my new favourite hotel, based mainly on the impeccable service. The hotel style is classic and timeless, so to me it did not feel dated. The staff went above and beyond accommodating every request with a smile, including adding an extra bed for a couple of nights and some complimentary spa access. We really like the lobby bar/lounge but it’s as expensive as you would expect (some good deals on whisky while we were there). We stayed a total of 9 nights with a short trip to Japan in between. It’s hard to imagine staying elsewhere when we visit Seoul in the future. The location is very central and excellent and you can walk or take the subway readily. We did find traffic in the area (and Seoul in general) to be extremely busy. We did not eat any meals, but the spa and pool and gym are first rate. We leave tomorrow morning and we will miss the place and especially the wonderful staff!

We had a wonderful 7-night stay with incredible service. Every person we encountered - front desk staff, housekeeping, restaurant servers - all provided outstanding service and aimed to please. Aria buffet had outstanding breakfast options and even a coffee bar! Club lounge had nice breakfast/dinner spread, good drink choices, and even cookies all day. My daughter loved that they had “jjapaguri” on their room service menu and it was cooked exactly like the movie “Parasite” with steak on top. Best part of this hotel is the location. It’s near all the public transportation and walking distance to so many restaurants and sites, it was super convenient! We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Seoul!

i felt like a rock star when i checked in. instantly, i had 3 people descend upon me to take my bags and escort me to the front desk for check in. the staff was super attentive and helpful no matter the question. ||i liked the sofa and table in the room. it was really comfy to relax after a long work week in Paju. ||the bathroom was compact and clean. i didn't like the high side to the bathtub. it was difficult to get in and out without feeling like i would slip. the cold temperature of the hair dryer was perfect for the hot weather while i was staying there. ||the bed was SOOOO comfortable that i was sad i only had one night to sleep here. ||a word of caution to anyone dining there. the Italian restaurant was way more spendy than i anticipated. i should have eaten in the lobby bar which is more reasonable and had a good vibe. ||i was especially happy that the airport bus stopped right at the front door of the hotel so i didn't have to carry my bags a long way to get transport to the airport.

The service at this hotel was by far the best we've ever had. The concierge was so helpful, as was the entire staff. The location was perfect to walk to many of Seoul's attractions. The breakfast buffet was incredible both in variety and quality. The rooms were large and comfortable, except for the air conditioning. The room never cooled down so I never got a good night's sleep. When we asked a third time if someone could fix the air conditioner, they offered and brought up a window one to supplement the other. It only cooled the few feet around the unit.

This is a great hotel located in a great central location near subway, stores and restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean and despite being in a busy location pretty quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful both at the front desk and at the lounge which has a great breakfast and heavy appetizers that could be made into dinner in the evening.

Great location right by Myeongdong so you can get your shopping on! The rooms are slightly dated but they are still lovely. The service is top-notch, and I appreciate the lounge for tea throughout the day. The gym is great and had everything I needed. I enjoyed being able to order room-service from my phone/tv and took advantage of some of the takeout promotions for guests in the hotel. I had the uni carbonara from Rubrica (amazing!) and some fried chicken and beer in my room. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job of making sure I always had slippers and a tidy room. I'd happily stay here again.

The location was ideal for first trip to Korea, right in the heart of things and convenient to subway lines but just far enough away that there was zero noise. We knew we were in for a treat as soon as the person who checked us in, Exy Jun, warmly welcomed our family and presented us with some nice perks and little gifts. Service here is amazing (I don’t think turn down service even exists in the US). Gym has everything you could want including clothes to borrow. Sauna, pool, steam room sounded great too but I ran out of time.

Highly recommend staying here! We had the most amazing family holiday and from check in to check out the stay was perfect thanks to the friendly, helpful staff, fantastic location of the hotel and comfortable rooms. Thanks to Ping for booking us great seats at the baseball and other helpful sightseeing tips which we loved. Huge thanks to Jenny for booking us on a DMZ tour which was a highlight. The location of this hotel is fantastic, we could walk most places and loved being walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in Myeongdong.
