Westin Lima | Best places to stay in Lima

"With wonderful views from rooms and public areas, a first-class modern Peruvian restaurant run by famous chef Rafael Piqueras and a great location in the gastronomic hub of San Isidro, the Westin is the best contemporary high-rise hotel in Lima. Bedrooms are bright, with huge wall-high windows, framing the best views of Lima’s skyline from any hotel. There’s a huge, sumptuous blue-mosaic indoor pool fed by indoor waterfalls, and a Buddha-filled spa, offering an array of massages and hydrotherapy. Run by star chef Rafael Piqueras, the Maras restaurant is a destination in its own right. Be sure to try the Causa Trio – uniquely Peruvian pureed vegetables with ceviche, ciringuito and dill-infused salmon. " - Alex Robinson

We stayed here 9/24-9/26 & 10/4-10/5 via Gate1 booking. I don't know if it's because our tour guide took care of check in but it was fast & seamless. Our room was ready when we arrived! The room was beautiful & very modern. Their shower is one of those styles where it's a half glass door therefore it's open. I really don't care for this type of shower because water gets spilled all over the floor and can get really messy. I prefer the enclosed type. Also the bathroom glass doors are see through therefore no privacy.|Other than that everything seems fine, the staff were very attentive to your needs. I also got to use their pool (water was warm!). That was awesome. |Breakfast is buffet style. There's a lot of choices of food from fruits to hot foods and an egg/omelette bar. Again the staff were awesome & so helpful and friendly. Special mention to Alexis Rodriguez who took care of us each time and even gave us a farewell dessert on our last day at the hotel.

Absolutely lovely hotel in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Most things are closed on Sundays (and I assume Saturdays) but it’s at the intersection of two major highways/avenues within the city. Takes about 15 minutes ($5-$7) to take an UBER to Miraflores and the waterfront. Time to/from the airport outside of rush hour is 35-55 minutes. ||Very quiet at night so conducive of quality sleep.||Breakfast is buffet style and expansive. The lounge is great with stunning views. Did not use the gym/spa/etc… so can’t comment there.

I am writing this review to share my thoughts during my stay at the Westin Hotel. It was a beautiful experience. Nothing less from a 5 star hotel and best hotel if you ask me in Peru. The staff was friendly, they were bilingual in English and Spanish. The rates were competitive. The pool was amazing. Gym had lots of equipment. Breakfast was American Style, eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, lots of fruits, breads and more. Though it comes at an $80 dollar price. Well worth it in my honest opinion. Parking included. It is a must if driving a car in Lima. Everything needed is handed to you if requested at the front desk, is person or by phone. I would have enjoyed more activities but my time was limited. There was heat and AC in the room. Wonderful views of San Isidro. Lots of store nearby, gas stations, restaurants and even a clinic if you were to need medical attention. I will stay again. Loved it!

Ideal choice in Lima for work trips or longer stays. Spacious rooms with great views, very comfortable beds, and top service throughout the hotel. The executive lounge and gym stand out, not to mention the spa, and the location is convenient for both business and leisure. A reliable, high-standard hotel experience in the city. I will come back for sure!

This was probably the single best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff was amazing, the Westin Club room had great food and snacks pretty much anytime of day, and the views of Lima from the top floors were great.

This place is first class all the way I stayed two nights at the first of the week and checked a bag so not too have to keep up with it came back Saturday night to be able to get to the airport when I checked in and got to my room they had already placed my checked luggage in the room |Then I had issues with LATAn Airlines web site so I went to the club and ask Pia Sanchez to help me with translation and she went above and beyond her call of duty a really marvelous young Lady
