The Westwood

This is exactly what I want in a neighborhood bar. Friendly staff good bites. Old school vibe. And best of all... The got my mozzarella sticks. Who could ask for more? Our bartender Alex was super accommodating and attentive. They clearly care about the space.

The atmosphere at the place is wonderful and the service is excellent! The food was very tasty and beautifully seasoned. We had the hamburger, roast with mashed potatoes, and the eggroll — everything was fantastic. The only downside was that the falafel balls weren’t fried enough.

This is a solid spot for anyone looking for a mellow hang that highlights community & quality. I've never failed to have a meaningful conversation with strangers here. They've got a pool table and darts. Great drinks, fabulous food. I already know this will be a regular stop for me when I want a nook in the west end.

Went here for the first time last night. Loved it. Atmosphere is cozy and the vibe is the perfect balance of chill and fun energy. We got the pot roast and the The Grinder and both were fantastic. Staff was attentive and friendly. 10/10

Could not be more impressed with this bar. The food, vibe and service are everything you look for in a neighborhood bar. Food came out quick and was one of the best burgers I’ve had in Atlanta. Combo deals for drinks make it an easy spend on your wallet. After dinner we played pool and enjoyed the crowd. Don’t think I’ll ever run out of good things to say about this place. 11/10

Finally! A new neighborhood pub with relatively reasonable prices, decent bar fare, a pool table that’s in great shape, outdoor garden area, and fun attentive staff. Busy given the new opening - can’t wait to see how how it settles into a groove over the next few months!

The Westwood is a cool little dive-esq bar that recently opened up in my neighborhood (Westview, not West End!). They have all the food essentials necessary to support the drinking you can definitely expect you'll be doing here! I've had the burger and it was good, though I think the actual patty could've been seasoned more, and not rely so much on the sauce that comes on the burger. Also tried the mozzarella cheese sticks my friend ordered and enjoyed those. My go-to drink has been a Gin & Tonic w/ lemon juice #Classic and it hits every single time. There are a few beers on tap, some bottled options, and a full bar available. The staff have been great so far, very approachable. The best part, besides the relaxed menu pricing, is the hours. Opened EVERY day and late (till midnight during the week - including Sunday, and till 2 during the weekend)!!! Once I zero in on my official bartender of choice, the rest will be history!!

Overall a cool spot with decent food and good beer prices. However, it is pretty obvious that the owners/bartenders are dead set on making their "regulars" from their other property a priority instead of creating new regulars that are actual locals to the neighborhood. Don't see that working long term when those individuals are tired of driving out this way and you don't build up actual regulars that live in the neighborhood. If you don't know the bartenders from their other property- enjoy watching them take shots with those individuals.
