Ambiance: very nice, directly on the water and decor is attractive. It's a large space and very clean. The views are appealing through large windows all around or from the outdoor seating area.
Service: Average. We had a nice waitress, appeared experienced and knew the menu. We asked for water from the runner who delivered our appetizers, but had to follow up with the waitress when time had passed. Once we got our mains, one person asked for lemon when the waitress came to check on us, we also had to follow up on that so mid level service, but good enough for the most part. Service 3 out of 5
Food: salads were good, New England clam chowder was good, Manhattan clam chowder was awful. It was very uncooked tomato, clumpy and no clam flavor at all. Two people order "grilled" asparagus sides. They were practically inedible, served raw with a very faint grill mark. We did not return them as the people ordering those in our party did not want to complain. The main courses themselves were pretty good. The fried flounder and fried shrimp combos that two people had were excellent, not greasy, not fishy and perfectly executed. The salmon and the mahi-mahi dishes ordered were also acceptable, nothing to rave about, but perfectly acceptable. Food 2 out of 5.
All in all, I probably would not return because there were too many missed things and the quality of the food and the service does not coincide with the prices. They have a lot of competition in the area, so it's very easy to select another waterfront restaurant that may have a better quality in the food.
