Google
Convenient location for the grocery store and shares half the building with the liquor store. It’s not a very big grocery store, but it does pack a lot from baked goods to fresh produce to medication. Prices are a premium but the baked goods and the ready made foods are still cheaper than eating at the cafes nearby. You can probably find most things you need from this store.

Google
With Whistler being pretty expensive, this grocery store is an excellent alternative to restaurants. Not only is it well stocked, you can find portions that make it easy to prepare meals. The prices are also reasonable, especially when compared to eating out.

Driver falling asleep at the wheel looks like he's drunk maybe check if these people have licenses. Based on my own guess I'd say the guy works more than one job and didn't get enough sleep and as a result is swerving all over the highway when people are trying to get into the village before 9:00

Google
Don't shop here, the employees treat you like a criminal if you bring in any food from another store. I had picked up some snacks on sale at the Rexall and an employee harassed me and demanded that I leave my bag at the front of the store. Appalling customer service. There are far better grocery stores in town. Nesters Market and Fresh St. are not far away. Better prices too.

Best downhill bike, I ever rent before. Perfect tuned. Excellent service. Thank you

Google
The prices of their goods are reasonable taken Whistler as a premium vacation destination on the west coast. It locates right in the center of the village, super convenient without parking hazel. 5 minutes walking distance to most of the hotels in village center. IGA offers lower prices on wilder range of selection, but you have to pay for parking and drive all the way to Day Park Lot for the night. Not recommended after a long day of hike on the alpine up there.

Google
Very convenient location in Whistler village with a surprisingly good variety and selection of products. Prices are high as you would expect, but I honestly thought it would be worse.

Google
I came in Friday morning and Amira gave me great local recommendations for our trip in Whistler. Great location to grab essentials and very friendly staff!

Yelp
This grocery store in the Whistler Village has everything you can imagine and would need while visiting here in Whistler, awesome ready to go salads and charcuterie, boards and snacks, health needs, the liquor store is on the opposite side within the grocery store and has a fantastic selection of different liquors,, Beers, wine and champagne!

Yelp
This grocery store was located in the middle of Whistler village and was quite busy. It had most of what we needed and although over priced, compared to other grocery stores within the village it was much more reasonable. It was cheaper than Fresh Street market by a lot. They do not carry alcohol but there is a liquor store located right across the entrance to the grocery store. It's a pretty big market and should have most of what you need. It's where I'd do my grocery shopping next time I'm in Whistler.

Yelp
We were thinking of getting hot dogs for snacks but we needed something to drink. Many of the stores were not open at 10am so we dropped by here to pick up some drinks. Everything is marked up at a premium for being in a tourist area but it was cheaper than Shoppers and Rexall. Also Shoppers was not very well stocked. Many of the items were out of stocks. We picked some drinks here. They have the larges drink selections compared to many of the stores in the village.

Yelp
Hidden gem! Shockingly reasonable prices for the fantastic, convenient location right in Whistler Village, shockingly wide selection for the small space, very well thought out design for small space. Weekend getaway in Whistler, in room with kitchenette. Didn't know this grocery existed and regret buying all our supplies at the big box grocery in Squamish. Prices seemed same or better here. Since restaurants also quite pricy in Whistler, but we didn't want to do full on cooking, this place had many, high quality, frozen and fresh prepared and cook at home food options.

Yelp
Great store for essentials and then some. Located right across from the bus gateway loop in the heart of the village. They even had a few baking items I was searching for and some plant based breakfast sausages. Prices were on par with being in the centre of village/city.

Yelp
We were staying at Whistler for a few days and wanted to buy some groceries to take back to our hotel room. This happened to be the closest grocery store. There was a large selection of daily essentials. Prices were a bit higher than average because the store is located in a touristy area. There were discounts on certain items around the store that I saw for some hot food items and cookies. The cashier was friendly and efficient.

Yelp
I've been to this market a couple of times during my visits to Whistler. Tonight I tried to buy eggs and another item. This place is in the village, and we were not done walking around, so I told the checker that I needed to buy a bag. She refused to sell me one! She said that for one or two items, they will not sell you a bag. But I will pay for it I said! Nope, no bag. I didn't want to awkwardly carry around a carton of eggs for half an hour, so I cancelled my order and left. On the way to home, we stopped at Creekside Market where I purchased two items, and the clerk asked me if I wanted a bag. Yes, I happily purchased a bag. As my teen would say, that was whack!

Yelp
Whistler grocery store is located in whistler village right in the middle of the village. It is close to just about everywhere. It is a small supermarket, so if you need a lot of different items you may have to go further down to IGA. They have a small section of most items like produce and dairy. They even have some small already made food items to purchase. It is really just a store to get small items to add to your hotel kitchen. Don't expect to purchase everything to cook an entire meal here. We went there mainly to restock on water and bananas. There are a lot of check outs and the staff are very friendly. They do have plastic bags if you need it, but they do sell reusable bags as well. Note that their prices are high for toiletry items, so it is best to go next door to the pharmacy for those types of items instead.

Yelp
The name of this store is actually "The Whistler Grocery Store." They carry a good selection of produce, meats, processed foods, canned goods, cleaning supplies, beverages (nonalcoholic) and toiletries. I stopped in here to restock on toothpaste, antacid, skin moisturizer, bottled water, and V-8 juice. There alway is a lot of customers in here and they keep the line moving fairly well.

Yelp
Navigating the aisles of The Grocery Store is a bit like playing Donkey Kong in real life. Instead of jumping over barrels to advance platforms, our hero was forced to squeeze around parka-donned skiers to get to the next aisle. Progress was vastly impeded by employees stocking shelves in every other aisle. How exactly this store works when there's 6 people stocking shelves and 3 on the cash registers is not clear. PROS: - Conveniently located in Whistler Village. CONS: - Very narrow aisles. - No shopping carts. - Expensive prices, even for Whistler. $14 for a frozen pizza? $2.99 for the lowest grade microwave dinners? No thanks.

Yelp
This is a small grocery store in Whistler Village. They have a decent selection of produce, though their bananas were far from being ripe. My favorite finds at the Grocery Store were Hurraw Lip Balms, Tim Tams (from Australia), and Nature Path Hemp Oatmeal. Their items were expensive, but hey you pay for convenience! It's probably cheaper to buy some groceries here to make some meals in your condo if you're staying for a week. Next door is a liquor store which is perfect! Bring some reusable bags to save on plastic. Those bags were wimpy. The employees were nice and friendly. I always appreciate an employee who is efficient and patient.

Yelp
Look, they have all the essentials (plus some) and a staff of young kids (cant believe I just said that, ugh) who are upbeat and just having fun. I'm all about that because when at whistler, everyone should just be having fun. I'd just echo others who have mentioned the place is expensive. Or maybe outrageously expensive? It's true. Last night I spent CAD50 on some chips, ramen, counter staples, and drink mixers. But the store is 4 min walk from my hotel, which, when it's -12*C, is worth an extra star in my opinion. Bottom line is, it's a grocery store! With every drunk/exhausted from skiing food you could ever dream of. Blocks from Main Street and probably minutes from your big brand hotel. WHATS NOT TO LIKE?

Yelp
This was a great find in whistler village. We bought breakfast food and picnic materials here for lunches. Saved us a ton of money on overpriced, mediocre restaurant food in the village.

Yelp
Reminds me of the grocery store in the heart of Waikiki yet the temperature difference is diametrically opposite. A good selection of everything you may need to stay fuelled up while spending your days heading down a mountain at high speeds. However pricing is a premium. Let's say not quite double what you would pay at your local grocery store but easily 1.5 - 1.75 the price. The mega plus however is that a BC liquor store is adjacent and you can stock up on all the booze to keep you content and numb the pain that the hot tub won't take away. Convenience is the factor here and it serves all the condos of the village. My recommendation is stock up in Vancouver or Squamish if you are driving up and only gather essentials you are missing if you have the chance. Otherwise don't choke at the price of your bill. Another handy feature here is there is a decent selection of prepared meals and they have a microwave on site to warm up if you want a cheaper lunch or dinner option.

Yelp
really bad customer service, one of the staff members yelled at me for scratch my noise and told us to leave if we weren't shopping, the place was empty and we could decide fast enough what to buy so he literally just kick us out, come here if you want to be treated like you are not worthy a place that doesn't know how to treat your customers shouldn't be in business, go somewhere else to do you'd shopping.

Yelp
This place is cramped. It's even more cramped in the winter when people are wearing maximum layers of clothing. Surprisingly, the produce is cheaper here than any of the other grocery stores in Whistler. Organic lemon are cheaper than the non-organic variety. Packaged goods are way more expensive here than the other grocery stores in Whistler. I give this place an extra star just because produce is the cheapest here of all the Whistler grocery stores.

Yelp
The Grocery Store (What a unique name!) make you feel like your in remote part of the Himalayas....the prices are so expensive and the selection is so small. On the plus side, The Grocery Store is right on the village so the convenience factor is high. And despite the high prices, we saved on buying breakfast items here versus dining out during our stay. Yet, on the negative side, this place is TINY. Try pushing through huge crowds along narrow aisles while finding milk for under $10. The selection is very small and limited to mostly basic. Even for Whistler, I found the prices on everything to quite a shock. $7 for basic granola cereal. $8 for non-organic milk. $3 for a couple bananas. WOW. How do the locals handle this? Anyways, this place is all about convenience on location and getting the necessities. Don't expect to be impressed.

Yelp
Not the biggest grocery store, but it gets the job done and wow, its expensive! The IGA 10 min away is a tad cheaper and has more variety.

Yelp
Hate that feeling of... "oh shoot I forgot the ______!" Have no fear because The Grocery Store has most all the common ingredients and items that people need to finish off that meal. I came here to grab eggs and appreciated that it came in 1/2 dozen because my boyfriend and I didn't need a full dozen. I found drinks here are cheaper that if you were to buy up on the mountain too. A little on the pricey side compared to other grocery shops in Whistler but as expected in the heart of the village. Location is key for a quick and easy stop. Note: Beware of it's narrow aisles, which may lead to some uncomfortable squeezes with strangers.

Yelp
Canada is generally one of the most expensive places in the world for groceries. Almost everything besides Milk and Egg's is imported into the Country. The prices at this Grocery store are similar to rest of Canada, i always shop here and its convenient that it's right in the middle of a major tourist hub and prices are still the same as rest of Canada. I'm gonna guess the people complaining of prices are from the USA which has some of the lowest grocery prices in the World. Yes everything is twice the price in Canada, get over it and stop complaining. The whole world isn't as privileged as us Americans

Yelp
The Grocery store is convenient because it is on the way out of the village and easily accessible. The downside is that it is extremely tiny and expensive... Don't get me wrong- I'll probably still go there when I leave the village. But I know it's probably smarter to go to The Marketplace instead. It's all about location. That's where the 2 stars come from... Location. Location. Location.
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
It has a decent selection in a limited space. Definitely is best to go at strange hours though because at peak times it's so crowded you can barely move.
google avatar

Yelp
Best to try other options. Despite Multiple phone calls and emails the groceries ordered and paid for were were NEVER delivered to our condo. Should of used nesters as recommended Good news...Avalanche pizza in the village bakes a great pie

Yelp
Decent grocery store. Quite small and not too many choices but basic and reasonable prices. Nice service and friendly staff. Really close and convenient and walking distance from many resorts or hotels or inns

Katie G.

Yelp
Although there is a pretty wide selection of foods that kept our chalet full during our trip, the prices of some specific items seemed suspiciously high. We bought a single bag of grapes, which came to a total of $15. The cashier did not inform us of the total until I has already tapped my card, as I assumed it would be reasonably priced. After simply asking if that price was correct, the cashier rudely responded "yeah, grapes are expensive". Overall, the condescending nature made the fact that the grapes were 5x a normal price that much worse

Yelp
I liked this place. Items are expected to be a little bit on the pricier side but I don't think they are exorbitant. Pre-made salad was $4.25, bags of snap peas and mini carrots were $1.99 and Greek yogurt was $2.20. I guess it depends on what you purchase. Aisles are small to maneuver in but that's because they try and pack a lot of selection in the tiny space. I'm not complaining too much there either. Store was clean and has an upscale grocery store feel.

Yelp
Good quick stop if u r staying in Whistler only a couple days and just wanted main ingredients like milk, cheese bread. They have a little of everything just not the biggest selection. Also a little tough to find stuff as it is a smaller store. If u have more time to shop and want a wider selection, go to IGA market. If not, this place will suit your needs.

Yelp
Small store with a good variety of products. Prices are high but not over the moon. Very convenient if you don't want to drive out.

C C.

Yelp
This grocery store is a good choice if you're staying in the Village and need to grab some groceries. It's not a big store but it has a little bit of everything for you to stock up on. It's also conveniently located next to the Government BC Liquor store which is a plus. The prices here a bit higher than other places but I guess you're paying for the location and convenience if you're staying around the village. They have a good selection of prepared items that just need to be heated up in a microwave and also so pre-seassoned meats you can make in your hotel room (if it's equipped with a kitchen).

Yelp
So we were looking for postal stamps and were directed to this market. Once we walked in, we realized that it's a quaint little grocery store. Yes, prices are a little higher here, but you can pretty much find anything you are looking for here, including souvenirs... Especially Maple Syrup souvenirs!
google avatar

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
Living in the village this is super close for you to do grocery shopping! Do keep in mind that you are in Whistler so this is more on the expensive side than usual. Definitely a nice walk to get here from the hotels in the village. I like how clean and organized things are here. Staff here are friendly, they do have Canadian souvenirs you can purchase up front in case you forget to grab some. Cute souvenirs too!! I'd definitely come back to this grocery store if I was in Whistler again and living in the village.
google avatar

Raina D.

Yelp
This is a tiny little grocery store, super expensive as with everything in Village proper. I recommend bringing food with you and using this as a last resort. It is always packed full, but is right next to the liquor store, so win there!
google avatar

Yelp
Had all the essentials, excellent location near our hotel, and had excellent fresh Nanaimo bars! Great for stocking up.

Yelp
If you're looking for good lip balms - absolutely essential in Whistler - skip Rexall & get them here. Good prices & selection when it comes to lip balms. I ended up buying 6 because they were so good. We also hit this place the first day we got to Whistler & got what we needed for our kitchenette, although things were a tag expensive compared to IGA, which we found later. Overall, we preferred IGA for their selection, location & prices but this place isn't bad. Just not our first choice for shopping for essentials in Whistler. The extra bonus to this place is that they're open til 11PM, which is spectacular if you happen to arrive later in the day & notice you forgot to pack your tea/coffee for the next morning.

Yelp
I have been going to this store for years, especially when I need to grab something quick on the way through the village. The prices are inline with other Whistler Stores, which as a whole are more expensive than the city. The staff are friendly and have gone out of their way for me more than once.
