"The White Brick Kitchen, Annex Koreatown by NORMAN. A diner meets homestyle kitchen that serves up delicious comfort food. The neon sign outside claims “The Best Fried Chicken in Town” and we agree."

One of my favorite places for brunch food. I came here to try the chicken and waffles and they were amazing to say the least. My friend and I sat out on the patio and were served by a pleasant waiter. The staff seated us fairly quick even though the place was fairly packed on that day. Its important to note that the hash browns were nice and soft and we honestly did not even have to dip them in any ketchup because of how tasty they were. The chicken and waffles that I had were probably in my all time favorite list. The service was prompt and we received the dishes ordered quickly as well. My friend and I were tired from the drive to Toronto and were running low on energy until we came and tried the White Brick Kitchen. It is important to note that finding parking was a bit hard and we did park a couple of blocks away. We did circle around a few times until a location with a free spot opened up.

This spot is amazing! The staff is quick and friendly. The food is outstanding! We ordered the fries chicken entree as well as the fried chicken sandwich. This place has by far the best fried chicken in Toronto hands down. Note, this place is fairly busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait for a table.... it it is definitely worth it. We will definitely be coming back here again!

One of the best fried chicken in town. The chicken is moist and juicy although it is on the saltier side IMO. Goes well with the waffle though. I also recommend the brisket burger as it has more flavors than regular beef burger.

My FAVOURITE chicken place in the city. Literally the BEST chicken sandwich ive ever eaten. Also the spicy fried chicken wings have a great hot but flavourful deep spice coating. They also sell donuts and near their closing time they have an end of day sale. Ive come back here many times for the food and friendly service, take my word for it this place is triple A.

Breakfast for two. Well greeted by polite, expedient staff. Clean floors, engaging decor, open terrace and good food. Ordered the 8 dollar vanilla/bourbon shake and it was fine but for my taste buds, it needed a double shot which was quickly remedied. The square bacon is a nice hook but was quickly broken into edible pieces. Potatoes are delicious bordering on crisp chips with soft interior. The rye bread is a good thickness and savoury. Washrooms at the back. Return trip? Absolutely.

Ordered the waffle with 5 piece tenders (cuz the bone in sold out) + wbk hot sauce ($1.25) and pontine Personally I don't like it comes without sauce. That just makes chicken and waffle, these two components, like two dishes on the one plate. Even though I ordered their in house sauce extra, which tastes like the Thai sweet and spicy sauce, it's not acting like the sauce of Dirty Bird's one to connect chicken and waffle tgt. Service is great and wait is long, as 50 mins on Saturday, as they only have few tables inside.

I was really looking forward to this chicken sandwich after reading a lot of great reviews, and I have to say, it was alright. The Honey Garlic Chicken sandwich was giant, pretty messy, and not as crispy as I hoped it would be. You can taste the quality chicken, but texturally it wasn’t what I was looking for in a fried chicken sandwich. The bbq ranch fries were interesting as the ranch cuts the bbq sharpness with some creaminess, and the poutine was good but not special enough to order again.

Went here for breakfast during the week; they don't serve brunch during the week by still had breakfast options. Fried chicken was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - VERY good. Breakfast poutine is everything you'd want on a breakfast poutine (baked beans, chunks of sausage, fried egg). Portion sizes are large and fair for the price/location. Our server Matt was fast and attentive, great service!!
