The White Hart Inn at Lydgate

Our daughter and her husband got married here yesterday. What a magical day it was. Michelle, the wedding co-ordinators attention to detail was fabulous. She supported us in creating a perfect day. The staff could not do enough to make our day seamless and enjoyable. The food was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are spotless and very comfy. We can not recommend this Hotel/wedding venue enough.

We ate at the White Hart on Christmas Day and it was a wonderful experience. The set and the tables were set up so well. The service was impeccable and the food was tasty and well cooked. Nothing was rushed it was a truly enjoyable day and the staff did everything they could to make it special.

Been here for the past 2 years for one of their Christmas party nights with my group of female friends. Always lovely food (best we've had at a party) attentive and professional staff, and a DJ and dance floor to dance the evening away if you choose to. A local brass band called in and played a few carols while we ate. A fabulous evening x

We got married at the White Hart Inn on the 12 October and it was absolutely incredible.|The support we received leading up to the wedding was amazing, we had regular meetings and communication to make sure the day would go smoothly.|On the day itself everything went better than expected. Our wedding coordinator Eric was simply unbelievable, nothing was too much trouble for him and he went above and beyond to make sure everyone was well looked after and comfortable. We honestly can't thank Eric enough. |The food was delicious, the views were stunning and the venue itself was perfect.|It really was the best day of our lives, thank you so much.

A wonderful hotel! |Staff really helpful and friendly. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Food (breakfast and dinner) delicious. Even though it was a Saturday night and there was a function happening until late, our room was quiet and peaceful. |Also significantly cheaper price wise than a nearby one star rated travel lodge!! |I cannot fault it! Do not hesitate to book.

This place is wonderful. It is clean with quality rooms, not the largest but nice comfy mattress and quality bedding plus a supply of body wash and shampoo. Filter coffee and good old Yorkshire tea bags too.|Friendly staff, beautiful location and good food. |It’s not the cheapest but for good reason.|Try it, you won’t be disappointed

Stayed in the cottage. Beautifully kept room. Dog friendly, even at meal times. Good choice at breakfast time. The hotel is well maintained with a lot of parking. Plenty of places to walk the dog nearby. We've stayed here a number of times before and never been disappointed.

A beautiful venue, a lovely warm and cosy pub area and a fantastic wedding venue! We got married here in May 2024 and we couldn't be happier with our day and the rooms we stayed in before and after the wedding was beautiful! Staff was very friendly and they bent over backwards to make the day perfect! Thank you xx
