Stellar dinner in St. Cloud, we were immediately greeted and seated. NOT wheelchair accessible but accommodating. The portions are quite large so definitely take a box, you don't want to leave any of the delicious food. 5/5 🌟

We decided to try The White Horse at the last minute, and it ended up being a fantastic choice! Our waitress, Kayla, was absolutely amazing – friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The food was incredible. We had the Thai Green Curry Pasta and the chicken wings, and both were delicious. I’ve been coming up to St. Cloud for conventions for years, and I’m honestly wondering why this was my first time here. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

In the big picture, they get 4 stars. For St Cloud, they should get 5 stars. After being disappointed at many locations in St Cloud, these guys were a refreshing retreat. The area doesn't have much on the "high end" to offer, but here, the food was good. Good quality and good portions. They have a large beer selection. The staff is friendly and attentive.

What a great restaurant! Gathered at a table in the back to catch up with girlfriends. Perfect vibe, delicious menu for any palette, excellent drinks, and top-notch service for our group! Highly recommend!

WOW!!!! Excellent choice for something freaky. I loved that everything was fresh and from the area. We decided to order from the seasonal offering and we were not disappointed! Love the chefs creations, which made it a challenge to decide on what to order. Our waitress was fantastic! She explained what the chef was trying to achieve with each dish we were interested in. We will be going back next time we're in the area. If you're a local, this has to be on the top of your list!

I love this atmosphere and the food is elevated bar food, their is nothing ordinary about it! Friendly, smiling staff every time I am there. One of the great downtown places St. Cloud has!

I had my Staples hot spinach dip with artichoke it's kind of my go-to whenever I'm not sure what I want and usually other places it's so greasy but this was really really good they put the parmesan on fresh on the top and fresh grape tomatoes halved. it was the perfect texture break up the palate needs for this appetizer. Great job white horse!

Amazing restaurant. No reservations needed. You just walk to any open table and enjoy great service and food. From decorations to amazing servers, I loved everything about this place. The house made chimichurri sauce was 11/10.

Found this place on a business trip this week., Very fun place in the heart of downtown. Hamburger was cooked perfectly and tasted great! Service was very responsive.

I went here with my nephew to thank him for helping me move out of the club and into Northview. I went here in 2018 on a double date with my brother when he was visiting from the military with his wife. I went again with him this year, but with his 18 year old son that was soon to be leaving for Spain. This establishment is the place to be. They have a burger I would rate a 10/10, the goat burger. They've got great beer options, an orange cream beer is what I got. The prices are reasonable for the satisfaction and class expected. Its location could not be better. I haven't gone on a date in ages, but when I do I will for sure bring them to the white whores. Maybe when winter comes.

I highly recommend The White Horse. Great service and amazing food. The green curry with chicken or the walleye are simply delicious. One of our favorite spots to eat.

Best. Service. Ever. Kindest most helpful staff. Delicious hot honey mango margarita. Like. Wow. Scrumptious Brussels sprouts. Who can even say that? The burgers and fries are wonderful. The only reason I took a star off was because my Reuben wasn't very good. Funny smell.

Wow- this was not what I expected. This place looks mostly a Bar environment but the food menu was surprising with a variety of options! I arrived soon before 5pm and only a couple of booths were full. Within 5 min, all tables/booth & bar were filled! The prices on entrees seemed a little steep for the dive it appeared to be. I ordered the green Thai plate & it was delicious. The bartender recommend it. There were many Thai inspired options; again, not something I was expecting in this bar. Service was also great! I'm not sure what is comparable in the area but I'll be back for another visit.

Yesterday tried for the first time. Nice casual bar feel. Really great soup (a Thai green curry). Very excellent, friendly waitress. Only disappointed when check arrived, I specifically ordered a bowl of soup, $7 on the menu, and a dinner salad, also $7 on the menu. I was charged $14 for "order 2" but then an extra $3 for a bowl. Huh? I didn't say anything about it because I was with a friend, didn't want to make a fuss but I should have asked anyway.

The food was absolutely amazing would highly recommend the brussels sprout appetizer the waiter we had what is super helpful and answering all of our questions

Blueberry goat cheese burger was amazing! Was not sure what to expect with the hot honey, but was not that hot. They know how to cook a burger was not over cooked

I like it! First real sit down meal I've had with family and friends since the beginning of the pandemic. They did all the right things that seems necessary for these strange times. Totally on point with the distancing and cleaning. We got there a bit early for dinner so lunch it's going to be. One wrap, one burger special and couple of sandwiches mine being steak. They all looked gorgeous with either waffle fries or spicy Thai Brussels (delicious ). My steak sandwich was kinda tuff for being sirloin. Beers taps were many and the bar was beautiful...nice. Servers were very friendly and super attentive but not hoovering. Last words...I'll be back, for dinner.

Delicious food! One of my favorite spots in Saint Cloud. Food is consistently good. Service is good. Ambiance is casual comfort.

This place has crazy good food for a bar, as if they really just wanted to make a fancy restaurant but had to make it a bar because of the location. It's quite expensive but surpasses most of its competition around St. Cloud. The staff is quick with pretty much zero delay on pick up orders and were very kind in any interaction I've had while there.

Food is always good other than the pho. Service is always great. Cool little dive bar feel but with better food.

fun fact this restaurant had great food and service. we came in from ohio after a 12hr drive and they still served us 5 minutes before the kitchen closed. the food was so great and really ended the night well.

Service was great! Got to the restaurant and all the tables were full so we got seated immediately at the bar and waited a few minutes until a booth opened up. Ambiance was nice. Food was great! Curry fries were very good. Pork tenderloin sandwhich was on special so you won't find it on the menu. Thai green curry was recommended by our server, and it was good though I personally thought it was a bit sweet but then a little spice kicked in. Loved the diverse menu!

S W E E T LI T T L E E A T E R Y/B A R Lunch was a pleasant surprise on our first stop at this establishment. It wasn't very busy when we arrived, 2 children in tow, but it filled up fast. Sure sign of good food! My Rueben was sooooo good! As anticipated, wonderful menu selection, wonderful service, and terrific food. Easy peasy lunch, now off to the mall to spend our stimulus money!!! Perfect! There is some interesting art on the walls, in particular a portrait of 2 white horses. This was my favorite spot in St. Cloud. I often came here for dinner and drinks with friends and always for my biweekly dinner with my work husband. The staff are fast and responsive. The drinks are strong and the food is good. It's a hidden gem, tbh. It's one of the 5 things I'll miss about St. Cloud now that I'm gone.

Love this home town favorite! Come here every time we are in town. Service is friendly and fast. Food is excellent. I ate the trout almandine with the Brussel sprouts and it was absolutely delicious. The patio is beautiful on a nice day since it has shade and is in the downtown area with historic buildings. The owner came to our table and asked about our experience and she was very sweet.

The food choices are excellent something for everyone for sure. Dylan is an amazing server and has so much energy. This was my first time, but I will be back.

Over the weekend I got to experience all the hype I've been hearing about The White Horse. Our party consisted of two of us. You walk in and are blasted by air at the front door. I think the purpose of this was to stop the cold air from getting inside, however where we sat, it didn't really matter, you could still feel the cold air when the door opened. This place was a seat yourself type restaurant/bar. We decided to sit at a High Top table. We were waited on quickly and we ordered lemonade, soda, Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich, and Thai Shrimp Wrap, both entrees came with a Spear Dill Pickle, and Waffle Fries. I had the Thai Shrimp Salad, and it was delicious. I enjoyed that it was in a spinach wrap. Normally I'm not a fan of waffle fries, I feel like they are two think for my taste, but these ones were yummy. They were crispy, and had the perfect amount of salt/ flavoring on them. I was only able to eat half of the wrap, and got to take the other half home for lunch the next day. That was just as delicious even cold. According to PB, the Chicken Cordon Bleu wasn't as good as he was hoping it would be. He knows that this place makes everything from scratch, but he mentioned that the Swiss cheese tasted like it came out of a plastic wrap. He did also mention that he wasn't a huge fan of Swiss cheese, but he does love Chicken Cordon Bleu. After he decided that we will have to come here again, and he will just have to order something else. We ended up staying there and talking for about 4 hours. The wait staff was very nice and friendly, and didn't push us out. I don't know if they would ever do that, but it wasn't too packed, which is why we felt okay to stay and talk there rather go somewhere else. Overall I really did enjoy this place, and I know I would attend here again if I was in Cloud.

Great local bar/pub! Visited here yesterday for some wings and waffle fries. Ordered it for takeout. They have a lot of wings (I recommend the Carolina and Thai (can't remember the name). Waffle fries were superb as well! The portions are large, so that was a plus! We paid $36 for 2 orders of wings and waffle fries. Not bad! Especially for the portion sizes!

In central Minnesota for a few days and the vegan options here are limited. I found a pretty high rating restaurant that seemed reasonable with the fusion foods offered on the menu. I am fortunate to have somewhat of a home cooked meal, but was not too fond of the options given. My colleagues ordered the burgers from their menu, which they stated were "mediocre," and for myself, the palak paneer, vegan style (tofu instead of cheese bits); not much flavor. I added a side salad, very basic. I would consider this place a little more on the pricier side as well, I am not sure how the reviews are so high, but then again it checks out as a bar/restaurant and has more of a bar feel to it, so maybe the individuals are drunk when leaving a review. Three stars because the waitress was very attentive and knowledgable on veganism, so good looking out!

Great friendly service, accommodating for a larger group, fantastic beers! The food was perfect. Tots perfectly crunchy, jerk chicken wrap was awesome, and my friend had the burger with blue cheese and goat cheese... She said she could've eaten a second one! Yum!!

Cute local bar with fantastic food. We each ordered something different and we all loved our food. Sadly you cannot find sweet or half cut tea in Minnesota and finding Coke products is dicey but if you can make it beyond that, there is a full bar, I mean it is a bar!! Friendly staff and cute street with great architecture. I think they could do some great murals and drop the For Sale yarn art. I would def recommend! Casual dress and big appetite.

Glad they had a vegetarian option! The Earth Burger was good. The waffle fries were better. The peanut butter stuffed brownie was too sweet. Not enough chocolate flavor. Just sugar and peanut butter. I am a brownie snob though (fyi). We were lucky enough to have a nice evening where we could sit outside. (On the sidewalk by the street, but when it's nice who cares right?!) The best part of the meal was the coffee porter beer I had. Yum!

Our favorite place in St. Cloud. Interesting mix of food, all delicious. Burgers are best in town. Can get crowded on show night at the Paramount Theater. The booths are HUGE and sharing space is common

Nice downtown bar with a solid menu and a good selection of food options. Good service, I would recommend this place if you're in the downtown area.

I've maintained for years this is one of the region's best restaurants. Don't let first impressions fool you either. It looks more like a dive bar when you walk in than a fine-dining establishment, but the latter is as true as it gets. Be warned it gets packed around lunch and dinner, but I've never waited too long before seated. And if you have to post up at the bar while you wait, you can do so with complimentary peanuts and popcorn, all while playing their free trivia game. The food is absolutely incredible here. The menu is both American and international, but you'll struggle to find something not delicious. It has my favorite Caesar salad ever, as well as my favorite patty melt. Steaks are excellent and customizable, pastas fantastic, or if you're just looking for a snack, the wings and waffle fries will not disappoint. I've heard great things with just about everything else I haven't tried. While HH is limited, it does exist, but exclusively with drinks. The drinks are likewise excellent with a large beer selection, fine wines and whiskeys. There's always new specials each time I go, continuously updating an already great lineup. Finally, it should not be overlooked that most of the staff here have been plying their trade for many years. They are really good at what they do, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. They can help you make the choices you are less confident about. Go in and let them do what they do best.

I've been wanting to try this place ever since moving to St. Cloud but always ended up going somewhere else. My friends and I went here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. We all ordered a sour to start and didn't realize it would come in a can but it was still pretty good. As a vegetarian I ordered the veggie burger and my friends both got burgers: the German and the artichoke spinach burger. I enjoyed my veggie burger however I wasn't a fan of the bun and it was too big and I also wasn't a fan of the fries. My friend loved the Spanish and artichoke burger but my other friend was not happy with the char on his burger. Overall the food was fine but nothing special. I'd stick to the drinks here. I was hoping this place would beat the Pickled Loon but I can't say I enjoyed it more. Maybe it needs another chance.

Four of us went for dinner. One person ordered Shepard's Pie which looked very good - large portion and tasty. Two individuals ordered Green Thai Curry - again there was a very large portion with a sauce that resembled Alfredo sauce which became overwhelming the more you ate. I ordered a sea food siracha dish that was incredible salty. I had others in the group taste it and they agreed. Sent it back to the kitchen for a remake with less salt. Second try was less salty, but contained too much salt for me. I will not return for another meal due to the extreme spicing used by the kitchen - some Indian dishes are too hot to eat, others overdone with salt. Wait staff was excellent. Food was fresh and appropriately cooked. Would suggest that chefs try eating some of their product or establish a higher level quality control on product leaving the kitchen.

Fantastic food at good prices! Wide range of items from around the globe and all that we tried were super tasty. The chili has a little kick, which is rare in my opinion, and pretty much quintessential chili. And if you are lucky enough to have Dylan be your server, you will doubtlessly not only enjoy superior service, you will leave with a big ol' smile on your face!!!

This popped up as a vegan choice. Really? The GF cauliflower crust veggie pizza would have been better without a thick layer of cheese. Service during the weekday noon rush was fine. Ambiance with tiny white horse paintings was two star, Midwest bar style.

Great food. If "specials" are available on the chalkboard, then please order one - they are all fabulous. Lively place - you can run into friends at any time. Not quiet, but that is part of its charm. Chef is creative and even waits on tables. Close to Paramount Theater so watch out for show times. If tables and booths are full, sit at the bar!

Stopped in for a working lunch on my way the MInneapolis. I had the Thai Burger and waffle fries. I don't think I've ever had a burger that promised a blend of Thai spices in the patty before and it's truly a great idea. Waffle fries were just what you would expect, but awesome. I ordered it medium and it was at least medium well, but still packed a punch of flavor and a nice bit of heat. The Sriracha aioli is served in the side but was a welcome addition. Whoever cut the bun might have been having a tough day because the top was uneven and so tiny compared to the bottom, but whatevs. Also bonus that the tomato actually looked like a real tomato! Hard to find in a Minnesota winter! Can't stand those sad, grainy white things most bars serve. Service was good. All in all a pleasant stop with a delightful spin on bar food in The Cloud.

This place blew me away. They have a great menu with some wonderful seafood as well many items far beyond the usual bar fare. Their wine list and their beer list are exceptional with offerings you don't see many places. Service was great too. I highly recommend White Horse.

Wow!!! I moved to the Saint Cloud area 9 months ago and have been on the search for the best food in the area. I've been to probably 30 different good restaurants in the area. But no where compares to this. If I could give 10 stars I would. Best burgers in town, best cocktails, best variety of food. Coming back this weekend to try the Thai curry.

I was a little weary of the menu. Looks like they are trying to go for too many dinner options and to be honest not too many items sounded good. I started with the edamame. It was ok. Then had the ribeye and Brussels sprouts. Average at best. Lacked something. Not a fan.

The beer is special and good. I recall the coffee bender I had a while back which was tasty. And I'm not even a beer drinker. The food left something to be desired personally. Both myself, my guest, and friends have all had the same experience. We all tried different parts of the menu (burger, Asian, sandwiches, etc). For a top ten restaurant in the area I expected more. Maybe one day I'll try it again.
