My wife and I love checking out new spots, and The Wicked Wolf and Cocktail Bar did not disappoint! Raffael was awesome—he mixed up some really creative drinks for us, and each one was spot on. We tried the Jack Albert, the Geppetto, and Into the Woods, and all three were amazing. On top of that, Raffael was super attentive and made sure everyone at the bar was taken care of. Great service, great atmosphere, and incredible cocktails. We had such a good time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Austin and Roby are the best at what they do! 30000000000 stars to the whole crew. Went to poetry night and EVERYONE was so welcoming. Will be coming back and advertising as much as I can. Hands down best bar and bartenders I've ever met.

We visited for Afternoon Tea. It is a very cool place, cozy and eclectic vibe. The Afternoon Tea service was basic but excellent. Delicious sandwiches, amazing scone and a nice selection of tea. The desserts were pretty skimpy. An excellent value, very good and friendly service.

Google
This is a great little cocktail bar! It has a wonderful fantasy theme that extends to the drinks on the menu which were delicious. There was a jazz duo performing the evening I went which also helped to set the mood. My only gripe was it took exceedingly long to get drinks. I think it was almost 30 minutes before I could even get them to acknowledge that I was sitting at the bar. After that however, service was pretty good.

Google
Love this quirky little place. Such a fun atmosphere. We went in the late afternoon, but it looks like it really shines once the sun goes down. Drinks are fun, and it is a great place to get dressed up in witchy clothes and take selfies and group shots. Dressing up is part of the fun here! Parking is a challenge; I didn't see a lot nearby. Plan to walk a little from the neighborhood and pay attention to parking signs. This is a normal challenge for good spots in Long Beach.

Google
Dope new spot in Long Beach with lots of potential. Happy hour is the best time to come down IMO so you get those deals! My first impression was I thought this was a furry bar, but hopefully they’ll update their mascot so it doesn’t creep out new potential customers. 😂 The bartender was really friendly and the drinks were nice and strong. I got a kick out of the bathroom door signs with the two body one head. Lol Parking was pretty easy, we got there around 6pm and parked right out front, but I’m sure parking gets bad later at night. Update: The place got even better with new cocktails and food options. Love the charcuterie boards. Excellent price!

Google
So glad I found this place! It has so much character, a great gathering place to lounge and have a good time with friends. Amazing ambiance with intricate details in the decor that make it fun to look at. The bartenders were all great, they know their stuff and make delicious cocktails. Can’t wait to go back.

Yelp
The Wicked Wolf is an amazing spot for drinks, tea parties, and for special themed nights in Long Beach. It's located on a busy street but parking isn't too much of an issue the times I've visited. If you're seeking a style that's dark academia, dark cottagecore, or a whimsical spot, then this is your vibe! The service is great, the bartenders are super nice. I will be brutally honest and say that the times I've eaten their small bites, tea, and coffee and they're alright. I think the ambiance, theme, and customer service more than make up for it. I've tried their afternoon tea and it is so whimsical and delightful! The owner is great, she is very involved in everything! Check out their social media on Instagram and Facebook to find out about their weekly and monthly events. I love the Wicked Wolf and I hope it's here to stay for the long run!

Yelp
Such a great spot! A bit dark, funky, and fun! Whether you're in the mood for a classic cocktail or a tasty concoction, this place is the place to be. The Wicked Wolf has curated music events, food popups, and hobby nights for all to enjoy. I personally love coming for the boardgames and mahjong nights. Staff are friendly and will tailor cocktails to meet your tastebuds needs.

Yelp
I don't normally do this but I decided to challenge myself and go to a bar alone. Happened to come during one of their theme nights and the theme was Repeal Day (had to look this up lol). December 5th marks the anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition era, which lasted 13 years! Whew, that's a long time to not consume alcohol hehe ;) Since they turned the bar into a speakeasy, it took me doing something a lil uncomfortable to get in. You had to knock on the metal door 3x and howl like a wolf. I remember I jokingly told the dapper doorman that I was too sober for this LOL. Thankfully no one was around when I lifted my head and tried to howl as convincingly as I could. After a few moments, Isaac opened the door and I was granted entry. Yesssss. Isaac gave me a quick rundown on what the theme was and the fact that they were running a special where if we paid $15 for the "ticket," we'd get one drink for free and it included a tasting. I felt dumb when I realized he meant alcohol tasting and not food. I was real hungry by the time I got there lol. I declined the special offer and instead opted just for regular drinks at the bar. My bartender, Shannon, was very patient with me and walked me through the different kinds of drinks they had available that night. Unfortunately, it was a limited menu as they were only making themed drinks based on the Prohibition era, but I wasn't disappointed in them. I'm accustomed to basic drinks like margaritas, palomas, moscow mules, etc., but I was happy with Shannon's recommendations--I ordered a Whiskey Sour and a Bee's Knees. I definitely liked the Bee's Knees better. That honey syrup in there made it easy for me to lap up lol. The food is limited but I was grateful they even had any--they've got a charcuterie board, hummus and pita chips, a Cubano sandwich, and beef & chicken empanadas. The chicken empanada was okay, it kinda tasted like I was eating store bought but can't prove it lol. The Cubano sandwich was goooood. I'm not sure about the full list of ingredients but from what I gathered--meats (ham and something else), cheese, pickled veggies, bell peppers, and I wanna say onion. I felt like it would've paired well with the Bee's Knees but I was full by the time I ordered that last drink of mine lol. And gosh, the ambience was cool. Dimly lit interior, nicely decorated, and I absolutely adored the staff, the blues band that played that night--Shy But Flyy--and its patrons. Once the band started playing and their mesmerizing female lead took the stage, I was blown away. Truly. Real, raw talent from this group. I couldn't stop bobbing my head along to the music. It was such a vibe. They even had Magic Castle magicians come that night! IYKYK. They'd go up to the patrons and perform card tricks, mentalist tricks, etc. I was too shy to go up to them but one of the magicians had come up to do stage magic and we were BLOWN. AWAY. He basically was able to read people's minds and did this cool calculator trick haha. Even though I was the only patron who came alone, no one made me feel awkward at all and was very welcoming. I could definitely see this place being a regular spot of mine and for others as well. Thank you Wicked Wolf, for making my first, solo bar hang one of the greatest privileges I've ever had.

Yelp
Five stars for Ishmael! My book club meets at the Wicked Wolf and it was my first time visiting the establishment. I've been wanting to visit for the longest time because of all their cool events and just the overall buzz I've been hearing about it. I entered the place on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted by Ishmael behind the counter who was busy greeting patrons, mixing drinks, and taking orders. The interior was decorated for Halloween and I love the art of the wolf at the bar. There's indoor and outdoor seating on the top and bottom floor. I ordered a passion fruit matcha and a couple of other members of my book club ordered some drinks and we were informed that our drinks will be brought upstairs for us. During that time, Ishmael was helping another party who were sampling teas and he was also trying to help other patrons that entered so he was super busy but was still killing it. Throughout our hour and a half meeting, Ishmael and another staff member came to check on us and brought us our food and drink orders and even took our book club meeting photo for us. He and his coworker, whose name we didn't get, are an absolute treasures and made us all feel so welcome and comfortable. Ismael is quite possibly one of the most easy going and kindest people! I can't wait for our next meeting to try out more of the menu.

Yelp
The Wicked Wolf was everything I expected and maybe even more! I came here a while ago for my birthday with my best friend and we had a great time here. We arrived around 8ish on a Sunday night after having dinner and fortunately the bar was quite empty except for a few other patrons. The interior decor was cute and for some reason gave me forest fairy vibes. The drinks were elegant and the bartender was sweet enough to even give me a birthday shot. After much anticipation, I'm glad I finally had the chance to check out The Wicked Wolf and I'd definitely stop by again for a night out in the city. Totally recommend to anyone at least for a one & done experience!

Yelp
I came here once before but didn't have a chance to get photos or write a review They have a bunch of pros They are open pretty late They have bands and events, you can scan the menu and it tells you the schedule for upcoming events. The band we saw when we came in was called - second hand smoke. I felt like I was at a lounge in New Orleans They have great seating vs just sitting at the bar. They have such beautiful couches to lounge on. The atmosphere is great, I love the color scheme here. The place isn't huge, but they have a great amount of seating. And it's comfortable. I love the magical forest vibe The bartenders were all great They are also right next door to Wrigley bbq. And they don't mind if you bring food in from there (they are literally right next door) Wicked wolf does have a very limited food menu. It's just small things like a charcuterie board, hummus, a sandwich and other little items We did end up ordering the charcuterie board and the Cubana sandwich It is street parking. But both times I've came I got a spot right up front The drinks are great. I got an espresso martini and for my second round I had the pornstar (both my two favorite drinks) My girl, Lynn ended up getting the golden spike and an old fashioned. They also have a page full of signature mocktails to order. They also offer tea and coffee during the day I literally have zero complaints. It's a great place to just sit with girlfriends and have a couple drinks. It's definitely not your typical bar, so don't come here looking for a wild party. This is just a nice calm place to come with girlfriends if you want to grab a drink or two and just relax and talk Bonus points for it being locally owned and woman owned

Yelp
An excellent bar to hangout with friends or partners. We didn't have any food, but the drinks were awesome and decently priced. Service was friendly. We went on a Thursday evening and there was a trio playing live jazz. The music was very good, especially as there's no cover. The decor is nice. There is also an upstairs rooftop deck. The only problem is that there is no parking, so you might want to Uber.

Yelp
$45 high tea per person- so worth it! Make sure to book ahead as this is reservation only service The Wicked Wolf offers! Came on a Saturday and it was a little busy but nonetheless we were taken care of! Our high tea came with two pots ( I got English breakfast, my friend got earl grey), mimosas( blood orange and regular), blueberry scones with clotted cream, madeleines, medley of fruits and two types of finger sandwiches(cucumber and chicken)! We enjoyed them all and I'm glad we tried this place out! We do need to come back for the bar though, and I heard they host cool events as well( like the improv shows, music, etc)

Yelp
Love the ambience of this quaint bar in Long Beach. Came on a Friday to gran some drinks and they had a full jazz band playing and salsa dancing for $50 upstairs. We ordered chicken empanadas and the charcuterie board. Nice bites for the variety of drinks available to experience. The service was nice, everyone was pleasant and helpful with informing you of ingredients. The bar is a good area to sit when they have a band, outside of that when they do have seating available, it is still a nice space.

Yelp
I was super excited to try this place, the drinks looked great, however that didn't get to happen. We walked in and it was not busy at all, so I thought it would be a great time to get some drinks. I looked at the menu and went to order at the bar. The bartender unfortunately came off as rude, but I didn't think too much of it, I ordered my drinks and she told me to sit down and she would call my name when my drinks were ready. I sat down and waited, 5 mins she gives drinks go another couple, okay that's fine they came in before us. Sit down, keep waiting, maybe like 10 mins now, no drinks. The bartender is chatting with the security guard and other people behind the bar. We still continue to wait, and then a group of 6 people come in, order their drinks and they immediately start getting served drinks. At that point, we just got up and left, because that was just unacceptable service. Maybe I'll try again in the near future, but utterly disappointed on my first try. I wish this review was about the drinks, but I didn't even get to try those.

Yelp
was okay for our first visit. one (and only) bartender was busy so we waited over 15 minutes to be served, but it was a busy friday night. i'd personally have more than two tenders working on the busiest nights so they aren't so overwhelmed but otherwise nice atmosphere. our drinks were pretty good too, made with simple and classic ingredients. music isn't very diverse but neither is the general crowd that comes.

Yelp
My dear friend surprised me with high tea for my birthday! The presentation and service were beautiful, the atmosphere kitschy and warm. We had a wonderful time.

Yelp
Bummer...I was expecting so much more. We were from out of town so maybe knowing the area would have made this place more impressive. The reviews are outstanding so I was really looking forward to something special. It was ..meh... *The server was really nice *The ambiance was okay-ish *Drinks well crafted *Guy on keyboard was okay-ish Will give it another try when back in town but not seeing the hype.

Yelp
This place has soul and class. Great community bar we were greeted with a great energy the moment we walked in. Friendly bartender's the drinks are great (La Loba was my favorite) not too expensive. Fun theme for drinks and decorations. We could tell there were a lot of regulars there and checked out their calendar they have a ton of weekly events. Truly a unique place you have to check out!

Yelp
My experience at The Wicked Wolf on Halloween night was an absolute nightmare, entirely defined by the aggressive and unprofessional conduct of the security. We arrived around 12:00 am and approximately an hour and a half before closing the whole incident occurred. We were there less than 30 minutes, and had our night ruined all over a single drink. First, let's address the drinks: the cocktails were well-crafted, fantastic. Cute bartender in a lil hot dog costume, whatever. While the drinks came out slowly, we understood this was because they were being properly made, and we genuinely appreciated the quality. HOWEVER, any potential enjoyment was immediately destroyed by the security team. The hostility began the moment we tried to order. We were standing near the bar, looking at a menu in what appeared to be the designated ordering area. The security guard immediately confronted us and rudely instructed us to move, stating we had "plenty of space" on the other side of the bar... like not even two feet away.... Weird power trip, but OK. Super unnecessary intervention considering we weren't blocking anyone or obstructing anything. NEXT--The situation escalated after we finally received our drinks. My husband and I briefly stepped out to the patio, and immediately turned back to sit in the main area after seeing there was no one outside and realized the patio door locked us out of the main bar. My husband was forced to walk through the side door and re-enter through the main front entrance to open the door for me to be to be let back inside (I held the drinks) on the patio to avoid leaving the premises with them. Low and behold, we sit back down at a table in the general bar area--we mistakenly left the patio door open for a moment, (there was no signage saying the patio was closed or that the door must remain closed) and the "security" guard rushes over and aggressively confronts us in front of other patrons. He was belligerent and accusatory, yelling, "Did you guys open the door?" I say yes... (he clearly saw us come in) and he yells, " I closed it for a reason!"... like??? Ok? I started to explain that we went to see if there was a smoking section (I thought he was a normal individual making conversation or just letting us know the patio was closed) but he stormed off so quick and disrespectfully without a complete thought. This ultimately left us visibly disturbed with furrowed brows and displeased looks on our faces... The audacity to chastise adult patrons as if they were your disobedient children is crazy. TO STORM AWAY ON TOP OF IT??? Yeah, I really don't know what was going on with this guy last night. It rubbed me so wrong I had to make a Yelp review about it. Just totally absurd and uncalled for. ANYWAY-- I guess he had 'some' sense--Recognizing our distress, the guard came back with a pitiful attempt at an apology or excuse, telling us it was simply his "pet peeve" when people left the patio door open.... TO HARASS PAYING CUSTOMERS over a personal "pet peeve" ON A HOLIDAY AND A FRIDAY NIGHT is UNPROFESSIONAL, OBNOXIOUS and completely ABSURD. So, TLDR-- loved the drinks but I will NOT be returning, security was an a hole and a c word. We WILL NOT pay money to get antagonized over here. This man didn't even ID us or anyone the thirty minutes we were there but threw a hissy fit about a patio door. You're worried about the wrong door sweetie. Thank you bartenders, hopefully management does something about that mentally unsound individual.

Yelp
Get here early to grab a seat! Food, drinks and ambience is awesome. We love sitting on the couches. I haven't been here when they have live music but would love to return. I like that the food menu is simple but everything is great. Drinks are well made.

Yelp
Took my sister and a friend for the high tea service. We each selected our own tea. The food on the tea tray was top notch. We all loved both the cucumber sandwiches, as well as, the chicken salad sandwiches. On top were the treats which included, home baked blueberry sourdough scones served with homemade clotted cream and strawberry jam. Delish! There were also mini macarons, chocolates and fresh berries. The service was top notch. Such a cool unique atmosphere. We we encouraged to take our time and enjoy, which we did.

Yelp
Came here with my hubby and friends. We arrived pretty early, maybe a tad too early. But we enjoyed our time nonetheless. Great ambiance/decorated like we're inside a mystical forest with cute lounge feel. Loved the cocktails! Parking was easy. Would come back for some live music.

Yelp
My first visit to The Wicked Wolf was for their inaugural daytime tea menu. They've created a fun and funky ambiance in which to enjoy spot of tea and some light eats. Both the cucumber sandwich and Mexican chocolate chia pudding were good. The pudding had a lovely rich dark chocolate flavor. The lavender cardamom syrup in the Lavender Fields matcha latte was subtle but lovely. They offer nine options of loose leaf tea: three each of black, green, and herbal, plus ceremonial matcha, a chai, and London fog tea lattes and a few signature creations. I'd love to see their tea options grow as business does well but they're off to a good start!

Yelp
I live around the corner. This is one of my favorite bars. I walked there, but it has easy parking. Good customer service. The drinks are amazing. They also have appetizers during the day. They have coffee and tea.

Yelp
We popped in to Wicked Wolf while we were waiting for our food next door. Music was a vibe too. The decor was super cute and whimsical, with a playful yet cozy vibe that made it the perfect spot to relax and have a fun time. Highly recommend! also my drink was very tasty& fresh tasting. SHOUT OUT TO EBONY!!!! She was a total standout! Not only was she super friendly, but she really went above and beyond when she noticed someone who seemed down on their luck. It's rare to see that level of genuine kindness.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this when looking for an open cocktail bar in the area. There were a lot of unique cocktail options with ingredients I hadn't heard of. We liked both drinks we tried, which I can't recall the name of. However, it had Sakura syrup in it and had the Cutwater flower shaped iced cubes!

Yelp
i was looking forward to trying this place again! We showed up at 4pm but the bartender said we can hang out and just order a beer or a simple drink while they get ready to re-open at 5. My husband got a beer and i asked for a cranberry vodka. He came back and said they had no cranberry juice so I said thats fine just use soda water. I get My drink and theres no vodka.. so i asked if they ran out of vodka too and he says "no just cranberry, why you want vodka too?" I just expected better and said no thank you i'll stay with the soda water.

Yelp
This spot is such a vibe! It gives me Alice in Wonderland. The bartender was the sweetest! She let me try out the wine prior to purchasing which is a win in my book. Good spot to catch up and chat! I saw they had an afternoon tea, I will definitely be back to check if out.

Yelp
Isaak, ebony, and Ishmae were among very attentive and friendly. Their drinks were on point and the atmosphere were amazing vibes.

Yelp
Absolutely adore this bar, lovely cocktails, great music and fantastic bartenders. My friends and I were impressed with the mixology here, the best cocktails I have ever had in the lbc area.

Yelp
Fun Wicked- themed drinks. I liked the Defying gravity and I'm melting. I also got the good witch but didn't enjoy it as much. The atmosphere was intimate and eclectic. Would definitely return

Yelp
Excellent English inspired tea party for a birthday celebration. Great selection of teas accompanied by cucumber sandwiches, scones and clotted cream! Very fun event! Thanks "Wicked wolf "

Yelp
First time coming to this place , let me start of by saying it's beautiful inside. Ricardo was so helpful recommending delicious drinks and Austin was the sweetest bartender. We will definitely be coming back! If you're in the area you must stop by for a drink!

Yelp
This place is so darn cute! Our friends and I went on a Sunday for tea and it was darling. The food was also very yummy and the scones were delightful. I think it was the owner walking around and she was pleasant and attentive to us. Service was great! 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
This is a quirky tea house by day turned dimly-lit cocktail bar and live music lounge by night and as transformational and versatile as your favorite superhero's costume change. When you walk into The Wicked Wolf, it feels like you are entering a bat cave (or maybe it's a wolf den?) and once your eyes adjust to the light change you see that you have been transported to a mystical, mythical land lined by green forest trees (spoiler alert: interior is painted all black with the rear ascent wall covered from floor to ceiling with wallpaper of trees) you almost expect the white cloud of smoke to slowly pass under your feet and dramatic instrumental music to amplify. But, instead you are greeted by friendly bartenders informing you that after 4pm, the tea and coffee is no longer served and fairytale-themed cocktail (and mocktail!) drinks are shaken to perfection. My favorite mocktail was the popular Sleeping Beauty. (I didn't try any cocktails because I'm doing Dry January; Sorry, not sorry) Then you explore the space to discover that there is an outdoor upstairs patio with string lights and hanging space heaters (brrr...it gets a little chiller at sun down). While you enjoy your drink you just might run into the owners, a kind-hearted couple, who are testing out this hybrid cafe/bar concept (and, most recently, a donation center for fire evacuees) a little over a month ago. As an LGBTQA+ ally, I appreciate that this is a queer-friendly space, too. That evening a two-man musical duo - Chad on the vocals and trombone and Ashanti on the good old wooden guitar - by the name of Acoustic Soul Express performed for a comfortably-sized head-bopping crowd of locals. Playing all the hits you can't help but sing along to, I would recommend that you bring cash to tip these musical artists.

Yelp
Great cocktail bar with a unique ambience and vibe. There is an upstairs covered rooftop, but wasn't able to check it out, due to a private event. Full disclaimer: food is not served here and there isn't s parking lot. There's plenty of street parking available. Loved the espresso martini and Don Quixote. There's very limited amounts of couches and ottoman stools to sit on. If you don't mind standing, there's plenty of space. The ambience was very Victorian, with velvet couches and floral tapestry pillows. Cute spot for a date. There's also live music, so it can be hard to speak, if you're sitting close by.

Yelp
1st time here The atmosphere was nice Super cute small place they have couches to sit little tables make everyone comfy and they even sell food outside I think they had performance but I arrived once it was done ! The drinks are really good and fancy cute They run about 15 dollars a drink The bartenders were nice got to us fast ! Eventhough is a small place is a really chill spot to just go and hang out with friends

Yelp
Wicked Wolf is located on the quaint, tree lined section of Pacific Avenue, just above 23rd Street. Open for a while now as a quirky cocktail lounge, they are now serving coffee and tea in the morning hours. I stopped this morning and was pleasantly surprised....coffee for two is a large pot of French Press with a muffin or specialty bread. They also have an assortment of delicious croissants, pastries and quiche ( provided by The Merchant bakery in Bixby Knolls on Atlantic and San Antonio...another establishment). This is definitely top of the line food and beverage! The coffee is served in lovely China cups, with saucer. Your own French Press pot to refill your cup is a nice touch. The atmosphere is a bit "bar like", in that it is dark and moody, but once your eyes adjust it seems quite cozy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Pleasant jazz music is playing softly in the background, making conversation easy. I would recommend this place .... and plan to come again soon for the cocktails!

I've seen this spot on instagram and I'm glad I did, lovely spot with excellent cocktails and mocktails, the vibes are excellent and the food was tasty. The bartenders were lovely. Chill spot

Yelp
Came here for a work happy hour and it was my first time visiting this bar! So glad I went. I wouldn't say it's a hole in the wall joint but it's a bar in a neighborhood I don't frequent nor would imagine this type of place to be in. But the vibes and decor make this a funky spot. Their drinks are delicious and love that they have a whole outdoor patio if the inside bar gets too packed. Will definitely need to come here again!

Yelp
Great ambience and drinks were a good price plus yummy! They also had some food options and we got the charcuterie board which was delicious.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! Love a place where I can have some tea and a cocktail. We came on a jazz night which I ended up loving!

Yelp
Super fun experience! I've heard of this cocktail bar & lounge and finally had a chance to try it, not disappointed. Lots of eclectic inspired drinks including some non-alcoholic options too. The Donkey and Sleeping Beauty drinks were super tasty and the empanadas super flavorful. The bar tender was friendly, helpful, and even answered a few random questions we had. To top it all, the vibe of the place is half the reason to come. It's a moody, gothic, Victorian, fantasy theme with lots of nooks to hang out in and drink, chat with friends or dates. Worth the trip to visit, highly recommended.

Yelp
This is definitely a dope ambience. The cocktails are well made and the bartenders are personable. I ordered a Geppetto (old fashion) and had it with one ice cube. It's a vibe of the Long Beach locals and I will be coming back. If you are looking to grab excellent crafted cocktails with easy parking and vibey music, this is the place to go! Also the Victorian couches are comfortable.

Yelp
What a gem of a bar! I reached out to the wicked Wolf recently to see if I would be able to host my local book club at the bar and they were so easy to work with and extremely friendly! All of the girls at the book club had an absolutely wonderful time and was very impressed with the ambience and the drinks, as well as some of the food! The cocktails were extremely delicious and well balanced, with something for everyone! The staff was extremely friendly, everyone was very welcoming, and we can't wait to be back!

Yelp
As a Wrigley local I'm embarrassed to say it's taken me this long to finally visit The Wicked Wolf. I wasn't disappointed. The energy there is calming, with its cozy and moody vibes. My 22yr old son went with me Thursday night and we enjoyed the live jazz band. We had so much fun we went back during the day Friday & Friday night for more live music. Beautiful drinks, delicious food and great music. So happy to have Wicked Wolf in the neighborhood.

Yelp
STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fun, artsy bar with tasty cocktails that supports local artists. I first came here during their opening weekend, when you had to make reservations, it was so popular. I was impressed on that first visit, and I'm happy to say that they've kept my interest piqued on subsequent visits. I dig their fun decor and the fact they support local artists by offering opportunities for them to exhibit in their space. But how are their cocktails? They were a little inconsistent in their early days but I think things are better dialed in now. I've tried a variety of their specialty cocktails over several visits and have liked them all fine. I most recently had a Jack Albert--named after a cat! The bartenders are always friendly and the owner, Thea, is warm and personable. They're the only one of its kind so far on that stretch of Pacific, but I'm hoping their success will encourage other businesses to think about setting up shop there.

Yelp
I hate that I'm writing this review because I wish I didn't have to but WW has gone down in quality and I probably won't be returning. I used to go at least once once a month. The atmosphere was welcoming, it was beautifully decorated, racially diverse, accepting of LGBTQ individuals, and great drinks. In fact, I liked it so much I never frequented any other bar, because it truly felt like a perfect space and a home away from home. However, the last couple of times I've been there, there have been new bartenders. I had the same experience that I'm about to talk about with guy and a gal. They both seemed like they were in a really bad mood, they were short with both me and my friend and when we asked them simple questions like if they could substitute a type of liquor or what was popular, they gave us a ton of attitude and talked to us in an exasperated manner. I experienced it once and I said oh this person must be having a bad day, and then I went back and I experienced it two more times. From the same guy and then another time from a woman. It was really disappointing because my friend had come from far to come here and check it out. (I did give her a heads up about what could happen and sadly it came true.) It seemed like both of these people were very stressed and unhappy. I made up my mind never to go back, but it was really cemented by the fact that right afterwards we went to a brand new bar in downtown, which was way busier, and we were treated with so much kindness and consideration by everyone there. I'm really sorry that this has happened, but maybe some places are meant to be in your life for a reason and a season and then you move on

Yelp
Just moved to the area and have been here a few times. It's a really cute place and it's always been welcoming. I've been there during the week when it's more chill and been there when it's busy and I will say regardless of the time the drinks are well made and taste great. Was there last night with a couple of friends and they had a band! The band was great but it clashed with the music on the speakers but over all I really enjoy coming here. They always seem to have something going on.

Yelp
I attended a private event here today, the mocktails are always so yummy. Ebony is a great bartender, very attentive to guests today. Wicked Wolf has a cool vibe the decor is great. Also the rooftop is so cozy, will definitely return sooner than later. Thea the owner is so nice and attentive today at the event....

Yelp
Best bar in Long Beach and a vibrant community space with something going on every night- dance, live music, book clubs, you name it! Now open as a charming tea and coffee house during the day this is the spot in Long Beach that most reminds me of New Orleans and I love it. Thanks Thea and Co for bringing this unique magical hub to Long Beach!

Yelp
This was such a great place!! It's a tea room by day and cocktail lounge by evening. Very creative drinks and they are excellent. The décor is out of a Tea room and the vibe is great! Think Alice in Wonderland having a cocktail party. The service is wonderful but you do have to place your order at the bar.
