"The Wild Hare offers a unique kind of fusion: vegan and vegetarian, plant-focused dishes and dive bar fare. The 90s rock vibes are strong at this Main Street restaurant, where you’ll find fresh-pressed juices and curry bowls served alongside Korean barbecue pork sandwiches and Moroccan-spiced onion rings." - Justine Jones, Eater Staff

Delicious and unique! Had chicken Thai lettuce wraps, cauliflower-falafel bites, and a chicken sandwich special. As generation X-ers we appreciated the decor but any age would love the excellent food. Great concept of “90’s themed organic dive bar” we heard a server say. Staff were great, clean setting, and memorable food. Thanks for having mocktails and N/A beer options. Super cute area to walk around too. Highly recommend!

We saw the reviews online and figured we would try it out. We sat on the patio. We were helped pretty quickly. Although we didnt receive our drinks until our food arrived. We had to ask for silverware and napkins along with our drinks when our food came out. My wife's food was especially bland. No seasoning on the rice or meat. I had the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was season and cooked perfectly. But the corn tortillas overpowered all flavor of the shrimp. My wife and I agreed that not only the service was below par. So was the food. We appreciate your try.

A cute little place in Stillwater. We went with 3 little kids and everyone really enjoyed their food. The place doesn't seat many people inside, maybe 30ish not including sitting at the bar. The atmosphere is fun with lots of music & movie posters. The 90's kid will really enjoy it. There were 2 waitresses and they were running and overwhelmed! We asked for water and didn't get any until after we had eaten almost all of our appetizer. We ordered wings with ranch and didn't get any ranch. We ended up having to ask for it after our wings were cold because we couldn't get the servers attention. The ranch (& ketchup) were homemade, which some of the kids loved while others thought it was spicy (it did taste kind of "hoppy"). We follow a low carb lifestyle and came here because their Google Maps menu pictures show keto buns as an option. They no longer have them, they got rid of them spring 2024 😢 We had lettuce wraps and made a huge mess because the lettuce wasn't very big so all the toppings fell out. We ordered the crudites appetizer as it said it came with hummus & a pesto aoli. Ours came with no hummus. We were going to ask why we didn't get hummus, but the pesto aoli was SO good we preferred that! Overall I'd suggest going to the food & the atmosphere! Just be prepared to wait on drinks & dips!

This was my 4th time dining here. We made a reservation for our party of 6, which worked out well, as the restaurant filled up fast. We were celebrating my oldests bday (fyi - they don't offer a dessert or anything if it's your day). I have Celiac and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to ordering. Our table shared cheese curds (amazing!) onion rings (not bad) as appetizers to start with. They have a variety of sauces. The harissa was great with the curds. One Daughter said the cowboy burger was THE best burger she's ever had! My other daughter is vegan, and she enjoyed the mushroom tacos, and cauliflower bites. The tacos and bowls are very good, and filling ... The coconut curry soup is so flavorful. The craft cocktails are delicious although a bit pricey. They make all their syrups in house though, so great quality. I recommend the rumpshaker. They offer a variety of beers on tap, mocktails, and a couple N/A beers, and liftbridge root beer. There is a pinball machine near the bathrooms. Fun - but it's $2 per game. There's a few parking spots next to the restaurant. Otherwise it's street parking.

The best cheese curds (gf) that I've ever had. Lettuce wraps were very good too. Service was a bit slow but we were not in a hurry.

Google
Our server was great, offered amazing suggestions, and one of the first questions he asked on a busy holiday was “do you have any allergies?” I’m gluten free and was able to get almost anything on the menu! We chose gluten free cheese curds (in the cinnamon spiced batter he recommended - absolutely delicious!!!) as well as onion rings and spicy pork tacos. We live 1,000 miles away, I told my husband we’re moving next door to the wild hare immediately. 😂

Google
As you can see from the images, the food is great! Best of all for my wife, the gluten free options are plentiful, including cheese curds with a light, crispy breading; the gluten free food is also very tasty and we couldn't tell the difference (beyond the fact my wife didn't get seriously ill afterwards). There were many creative takes on classic dishes, like the cauliflower falafel. This was our first time here, we brought my parents, and everyone enjoyed their food, drink, service, and atmosphere. The Wild Hare is next to The Match Stick, another restaurant we enjoyed years ago, but it lacks the gluten free options The Wild Hare provides. We sat outside, as the evening temps and humidity weren't too bad and then we could take in the fresh air and the downtown sites. I'm glad we did, but that means we can't comment on the interior atmosphere. Thanks Wild Hare for a great evening! Can't wait to come back!

I have been wanting to eat here and I finally got to go with my vegetarian mom! We went a bit after 11am so it was nice and empty. Nice comfortable atmosphere. It was absolutely delicious. Love the options. I got the strawberry cashew salad with chicken and my mother got the Encino Man burger which she loved! We both tried a mocktail which was delicious but it was a little pricey so probably won't have a mocktail again but I will be coming back ! ☺️🙏

Yelp
Fun 90's themed divey aesthetic. Super friendly servers. Food was amazing!! I was in from out of town and did a search for veg friendly restaurants and this popped up; impressed with the options. The Moroccan spiced cheese curds were totally bangin; we devoured them! Super unique flavor combo that I'm so delighted to have experienced. Drinks had fun names and were very delicious. I chose the strawberry salad and loved that tofu was an option. The spiced cashews really brought the whole thing together! My local friends hadn't been before and after such a wonderful experience have added it to their rotation.

Yelp
I recently dined at The Wild Hare in Stillwater, MN, and it was an exceptional experience. The fusion of organic ingredients with Mediterranean and Moroccan flavors is truly unique. The menu offers a variety of vegan and gluten-free options, clearly labeled for easy selection. The atmosphere is a delightful blend of natural and dive bar aesthetics, with a 90's flair that adds to the charm. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. I highly recommend The Wild Hare for anyone seeking a memorable meal in Stillwater.

Yelp
This spot is centrally located in Stillwater (right next to Candyland.) there are a couple of parking spots on the side of the building dedicated to the restaurant, but we were able to get off-street parking nearby. The bartender was so excited about the seasonal drink so we took advantage of that (a deconstructed apple cider situation with a smoked rosemary sprig. Delish.) The appetizers were amazing (get the Moroccan spiced anything.) We chose this restaurant because we have a vegan and a vegetarian in our dinner party and I knew this place would have great options for both meat and non-meat eaters alike (which they did). My bestie and I both ordered the chicken curry bowls and while the flavor was on point, we both agreed that the dish was a little too spicy for our pallets. I like spice, but I want a curry dish to be savory, creamy, and have just enough heat to warm my insides. This was more than that. I didn't end up eating much of it as a result even though the flavors were there. The only criticism I have is that in the winter, there isn't really a place to sit where you won't get hit with gust of cold air as other patrons enter or exit the venue. Even though they have a heater above the door, this place could benefit from one of those thick, velvet curtains that wrap around the interior of the front door entrance to keep the cold air from wafting through the place. I didn't use the restroom, but our male friends did, and they said they could see their breath in the bathroom. (Perhaps there was a heating issue while we were there that they don't normally have. Granted it was also an extremely cold weekend in MN, so we knew it wasn't going to be perfect but it was uncomfortably cold sitting next to the windows and front door.) The soundtrack was straight out of my teenage years (90s alt rock) which added extra charm to the place. Thankful that the proprietors have continued to push the envelope when it comes to cocktails, mocktails, vegan and vegetarian options, and ethnic cuisine. Glad we finally tried the place out, but will probably head back in warmer months.

Yelp
I've been meaning to check out The Wild Hare for a while, and I'm happy I finally did! Walking in, I will say I was surprised by the more laidback vibe, definitely more causal than I expected. The atmosphere was super fun, with bright colors and a bit of a blast from the past feel. The service was quick and very attentive. The cocktails were a nice surprise, they were fancy and tasted fantastic. It's hard to pin point if this restaurant is aiming for upscale or casual, but they seem to pull off a bit of both. We ordered the special, deep-fried pickles, which were a solid choice, and the Korean BBQ boneless wings, also a win. There's a good mix of bar food and other options, so there's something for everyone. It's definitely more relaxed than I imagined, but I'd go back for sure. Great spot for a date night or catching up with friends!

Yelp
We stopped in here for a quick lunch and were not disappointed! We got the fires basket as an app and had the hardest time deciding what dipping sauce to get! We ended up with the fry sauce and the basil aioli! Honestly all the sauces there are outstanding! We both had stopped across the street before for a drink at the distillery across the street and so we were already on the cocktail train! We got the lavender lemon martini and it was so good I got two! Hands down the best restaurant in downtown Stillwater and dare I say in the twin cities! Make the trip here, you won't be disappointed! I even got a gift card to here for Christmas! The gift that keeps on giving!

Yelp
The only thing that as a bummer is the service was a little slow but the server was super sweet and amazing I think she was just the only one on staff that day and there was a large group that arrived. We had the supernova cocktail which was very refreshing. I had the Korean bbq bowl with steak and my friend had the Latin bowl with chicken we were both very happy with our bowls and they were delicious! We sat on the patio and it was nice and shaded. The inside looks fun and hip and has a nice vibe.

Yelp
I had been wanting to come here for a while. Heard good thing about the good. The restaurant is pretty fun inside, a little small. I was able to get some fresh squeezed juice which was awesome! The greens one was our favorite, very gingery. Was expecting a little bit more volume for the price, but still tasted good. I had originally ordered the Korean bowl with chicken, but they had some issue in the kitchen, I ended up getting the pad thai. They were going to remake it but I was so hungry that they said they would take half off my meal for the inconvenience. It was good though! The chicken was really good. Others were really happy with their meals as well. Look forward to coming back here to try the other dishes!

Yelp
Stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Had the choice of sitting inside or outside. The decor is great! Records on the wall, movie posters, and a First Ave themed bathroom. Loved the music playing as well. Service was excellent as well - it helped we were one of about three tables. My partner and I split the strawberry cashew salad and the Korean bowl with tofu. The salad had great flavors, but I wish the lettuce and onion pieces were smaller. It was a little hard to eat. The Korean bowl was fantastic! Great flavors and super filling. I'd come back just to get this again!

Nik N.

Yelp
This place has excellent choices if you are GF, more than simply removing the bread! I had tacos and my daughter had a burger and fruit. We had the chocolate torte dessert which was nice as well. I really like that you get a carafe for water refills, it was 82 and muggy when we stopped for lunch. Our waitress was very attentive but was a little slow to bring the check but the restaurant went from empty to nearly completely full by the time we had our meal. The decorations were rock related which was cool. The tables and chairs were comfortable and spaced well with the exception of parents trying to use a stroller as a chair, there was not enough space for that type of nonsense

Yelp
Dive bar meets organic w/ Moroccan & Mediterranean flavors! I tried doing earlier this year and they were way to busy. Take two and it worked. Parking is street parking or a public parking ramp a few blocks away. Professional Widow- tye bourbon, peach, cynar, lemon & ginger beer. Refreshing and a fun play on a mule. 7/10 Cheese Curds - these were perfecltly cooked and had a nicecheese pull. Grab regular or moroccan & choice of dippin sauce. The Moroccan was a good flavor, but for my taste buds after about three it was to salty. I'd personally go for the regular next time. 6.5 for the Moroccan seasoning but 8/10 for the curd itself! Shrimp & Watermelon Ceviche - this was my fav. shrimp, cilantro, lime, red onion, jalapenos, & watermelon served w/ tortilla chips. Refreshing - I wouldn't mine if it had less liquid but flavor is great. 8.5/10 Mediterranean - quinoa, arugula, basil pesto aioli, tomato, cucumber, lemon &crispy chickpeas. Keep as is or add a protein. I added chicken which was $7 additional. It was hard to choose which bowl I wanted as they all sounded so good. 8/10 I didn't find the staff super helpful. They were very nice though.

Yelp
Disappointing. We didn't have any drinks, so maybe there's something we missed... but the food is underwhelming. We got the cauliflower wings and I expected crunchy, but they were really soggy. The Po Boi is as doused in too much sauce. The Korean bowl feels like it could have been a frozen dinner. The best thing is n the menu is the Latin bowl. Perfectly cooked rice, good salsa, great seasoning.

Yelp
What a delicious and unique spot in Stillwater! We went to the Wild Hare for a quick lunch while staying in the hotel Crosby next door. This place has a great little patio and funky cocktail bar interior, while still having a full menu to choose from. All the items have a little bit of a twist which was fun to see! Biggest ambiance thing for me was this place was teeming with kids on a Saturday lunch. Given that this is a cocktail bar, I would expect less children but there was a lot of small, screaming children. Not the place's fault, but something to be aware of. Otherwise, service was quick and employees were kind! I started with the Green Machine juice - which I loved that they had this and not just cocktails! If you're looking for something to clear your sinuses this is it. I loved the strong ginger and the fruity/earthy taste. I don't think I would add any alcohol to this one even though it's an option. The other person I was with ordered the Moroccan Cheese Curds and these are a MUST. They're sweet and savory and cheesy in the best way, truly unique and haven't had cheese curds like these before! For lunch I wanted something light so I got the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. These were fresh and flavorful but they definitely have a kick. This mixed with the ginger in my drink had my taste buds a bit overwhelmed and hot so I couldn't taste much after a certain point. I would definitely come back here for apps and drinks with friends!

Destiny H.

Yelp
I had some visiting from out of town and we noticed how cute the wild hare looked on the outside and they had a couple patio tables open so we decided to check it out and we were not disappointed! Our waiter was so friendly and was very helpful (sorry I wish I remember his name). When we ordered the cheese curds he suggested ordering Moroccan style. It was something new for our group and it was sooooo good! It added a small unique spin on basic cheese curds. We also ordered onion rings with Moroccan. For drinks, I ordered the lavender haze that was a gin style drink. The lavender was the perfect touch for a hot day on the patio. For my meal, I picked the jerk shrimp po boy. It was ALOT of food and a little messy to eat but it was definitely worth it. I would even suggest sharing it if you didn't want that much food. I can't wait to come back to Stillwater and check this place out again! I would say it's definitely the wait!

Tanya K.

Yelp
This is a super cute place right on the Main Street. The menu isn't huge but it's unique with some fun choices. We ordered bloody Mary's and they weren't very good. Probably not the place to order one. However the food was great. We got the shrimp and watermelon ceviche to start. It was awesome. I only wish the serving was larger. I had thought about getting it as my meal and I'm glad I didn't because the portion was small. I got the pad Thai and it was really good. Had a kick at the end. I would definitely come back here and try some more items.

Jessica W.

Yelp
A vegan/vegetarian dream - I absolutely love this place. The menu is so thoughtful and diverse, each section carrying a unique spin on a classic. The Korean shrimp tacos I had were amazing, but all of the dishes that came out around me looked fantastic. Super friendly and attentive staff, cool album covers on the wall, diverse selection of food... what's not to like?! Tonight was my first time here but I'll absolutely be back this summer! Seems like the perfect spot to end the night after hanging out by the river.

Amber P.

Yelp
If you want a place that is rock n roll modern chic with delicious food but not great service, this is it. Very understaffed. The young waitress seemed to be more interested in flirting with younger patrons than running food. The poor kitchen staff had so much food in the window at one point that they rang the bell multiple times, and when no servers came to deliver it, the bartender (manager? Owner?) had to come over and run all the food. Our large group (14) had to wait over an hour for our food, and when we we received it, at least 4 of the dishes were either incorrect or delayed by 5-10 minutes. Half of our group was nearly finished with their meal by the time the last individual received their food (delivered by the chef themselves). At least two other parties of four were seated, ate, and left before our group was even finished with our food. Let's also not forget the cook that took a piece of food from an order before plating it and ate it in full view of patrons. Definitely recommend for the food, don't recommend for the poor service.

Tigra C.

Yelp
Their plentiful vegan and gluten-free options caught my attention; the 90s aesthetic decor and music kept it. CAULAFEL BALLS - fried cauliflower-falafel balls that were so tasty and perfectly crunch. They came with a tangy dipping sauce. Vegan and GF. CHILI CILANTRO SWEET CORN - The perfect blend of spices and seasonings, completed with a spicy mayo. A perfect appetizer to share...or not. 10/10 would order again. Vegan and GF. Fries - I asked for Moroccan seasoned fries but they gave me regular ole salted fries. They were actually very good though. ONION RINGS - I was curious about gluten-free onion rings. The batter is different. Not surprised they're gf, based on the taste. Not bad. Not "good", but just ok. I wouldn't order them again. Vegan and GF. SAUCES - I cannot tell you how happy I was to have so many vegan sauce options! I loved the horseradish aioli, buffalo aioli, and fry sauce. All delicious! I tried them on every savory meal item. CHOCOLATE PIE - This chocolatey dessert was very good. Rich chocolate paired with the freshest of fruits. The place is bright with plenty of seating. There are a few spots with outlets in case you need to do some work-work or homework. Service was pretty good too. There was so much more that I wanted to try. I hope to find myself near Stillwater again next year so that I can explore their menu some more.

Yelp
90s nostalgia bar/restaurant with upscale food and beverage in downtown Stillwater. If you are a millennial, this is a serious win and must visit! The interior is very open and airy in the front with a more modern chic feel. As you make your way to the back bar area it transitions to a grunge, dive, hipster kind of vibe. The entire space overall is 100% 90s music themed with a plethora of album covers making up the walls and 90s music videos playing on the TVs. I have had mixed experiences with the staff with it either being super friendly and fun or just stale, kinda rude, and unwelcoming. This is the only thing keeping me from giving this place a 5 star review. Maybe the attitude from some of the staff is part of the theme, I'm not sure. The cocktails are delicious and fair priced at around $10-$12 a drink with fun names referencing 90s pop culture. The food is amazing. Scratch made with natural, organic ingredients and always nicely presented. There is a large amount of vegan options as well as health conscious dishes.

Yelp
So Sad...It has gone way down hill and for $100 with tip and NO alcohol! Left a great review when they first opened and have been back a few times since with no real issues. Went in on Saturday and and several items were 86'd because they were int he middle of a menu change. Totally get that and no real issue we just worked around the out times for something else. The Good the waitress, she was apologetic about the 86'd items but we were fine with that. The BAD...The FOOD was horrible. Appetizer cauliflower/falafel, which has been good in the past but this time-flavor was way off and salted like the ocean. Mediterranean bowl, they claim tomatoes, cucumber, well you could barely see any vegetables and 4 pieces of chicken . The quinoa had zero flavor and had to ask for more cucumber/tomatoes . Left 80% of it in the bowl. Hercules Burger, let's leave it at this...Smelled like manure, the bun was not fresh and tasted horrible. Left 90% of it on the plate. So Sad!

Corey H.

Yelp
Very friendly service, fast food arrival, sweet outdoor people watching table, cool 90s music themed decor, and the food was tasty. Oh, and cool art in the ladies bathroom. We'll done all around!

Emilee J.

Yelp
what a quaint, delicious and unique spot! we got a "wild hare" to stop for lunch in the area before running an errand and we're pleasantly surprised. perfect location (right next door to Crosby hotel), speedy as heck service and such a kind server. the food came out piping hot and basically gets cooked in front of you. the coconut curry soup is without a doubt one of the best I've had and the perfect pairing for the chicken lettuce wraps. the shrimp po boy leaned a little salty but made due with the additional toppings and dressings. cocktails were to die for! would love to return.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Small, intimate space. Loved the nostalgic art pieces on the wall. My food was great, but it took awhile to get the food and to get a seat. But a lot of gluten free options!

Suzie R.

Yelp
An eclectic place in the middle of downtown Stillwater. I've been dying (seriously) to try this place. They specialize in gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. I'm gfree so naturally I'm so stoked to try gluten free cheese curds...a delicacy in this part of town. This was the 2nd time in my life having gfree curds...they came literally 1 minute later and were delish! So I went there a couple of days ago by myself and this time with my hubby...(don't tell him I snuck over there a couple of days ago solo)...whoops! The place is decorated with album covers from the 90's, the bar tv shows music videos...oh those wonderful days of MTV, brings back memories. They have a parking lot but only 2 spots for the Wild Hare. Both times I ordered the gfree curds and green machine drink. The green machine is a kale, lemon, apple and ginger. Both AHHHmazing. Both times I sat at the bar and had a great experience. The bartenders are lovely and thank you for not ratting me out to my hubby. Last time I came in for a drink and curds...this time I came here to experience a meal - I had the jerk shrimp po boy on a gfree bun...I was IN heaven. Can't remember the last time I could have gfree fried shrimp. I really just can't wait to try everything on their menu. One day at a time...

Yelp
OVERALL: Pretty middle of the road. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but it's decent! ATMOSPHERE: A pretty busy location and definitely more of a dive bar vibe with a small patio. We were seated indoors so maybe I would've had a more positive experience taking in the views outside? SERVICE: we were seated in the bar area so our service was a bit spotty because our server was also the bartender. Usually not a problem but we just didn't see her as much as we needed to (especially when there was a problem with the food, we sat for about 10-15 minutes looking and waiting) FOOD: we ordered the cauliflower falafel, mushroom tacos, and shrimp po-boy. The sauce for the cauliflower falafel was amazing but the caulafel itself was an odd texture. Not sure why change an already good thing? Falafel is already vegetarian so not sure the reason for the swap. It was okay. The mushroom tacos originally came out cold- tortillas not heated up so it broke right when it was picked up and it seems like a salad (cold mushrooms too - not just the slaw) on cold tortillas. Pretty disappointing and our server says that they get that feedback a lot because of the slaw (it wasn't the slaw) but when they brought it back actually warm it was pretty flavorful and didn't fall apart. The shrimp po-boy was tasty but small/not super filling. PRICE: I think if these were "budget" items I would think differently but their whole menu was pretty 4 star restaurant pricing for 2-3 star experience food. Our appetizer was $11, the tacos were $13, and the po-boy was $14 (no side included)

Veronica Z.

Yelp
I love the idea of the 90s restaurant. I just wish that they would have 90s music playing all the time instead of paying for it. The decor is wonderful. The food amazing. I love the name of the cocktails. My favorite was the Latin bowl.

Ann Marie F.

Yelp
Bestie and I went to an art fair down by the river... and needed GOOD FOOD! AND gluten free food! This was on her GF app... so in we walked.! Great music started it off, then the funky decor, and the view of the chefs! It was fun to watch them maneuver around getting my eats ready! The service was outstanding! And everybody had a task! It was a well-orchestrated dance when the place started to fill in this dreary Saturday! I miss working in a restaurant...the energy was magnetic! GF bestie got a burger. She said it was fabulous. The fries and harissa were delicious! I got the Asian shrimp tacos. Not really Asian... so I'm not sure about that... and shrimp? They were a deep fried ___.(I'm not sure what was actually deep fried). They weren't good. At all. But I ate it. I was super hungry! Will I go back? Probably... just not getting the tacos.

Katie Y.

Yelp
The drinks were fun! Loved the fresh pressed juices and the option to make them alcoholic. Food and service were just ok.

Hayley N.

Yelp
My husband and I tried to eat here THREE times. The first two times we waited over a half hour and never got seated. The third time we got seated at the bar, and we literally watched two other couples sit down and get their drink orders taken and delivered before we had even been greeted. If their service improves, I would try again because a lot of the food looked great!

Katie G.

Yelp
Appreciated all the gluten free options and the knowledgeable staff. All good had great flavors. Cheese curds were perfectly salty and I enjoyed my burger. Husband had the cauliflower "wings" and they were really good!

Bella P.

Yelp
Food was good but not great. We had the pad Thai. We did the "add chicken" but the chicken comes out on a skewer. It's not cut up and mixed in the pad Thai. It was just strange to not have it already mixed in with the pad Thai flavor. Could have just gone without chicken and the broccoli. The shrimp tacos were good but not great. We were expecting a bit more after reading other reviews. They also charge a 3% credit card fee which is in tiny print at the bottom of the menu. We didn't see it until we received the check. Kind of disappointing. Over all, one visit was good enough for us.

Tracy K.

Yelp
What a fun town Stillwater is, the wild hair was not far from our hotel and looking over the menu, it looked quite unique. The food was delicious and very flavorful. The restaurant itself was super busy and a little loud. I believe they were doing renovations. Our server was helpful in helping us choose our drinks and entrées. The corn was amazing!

Alex X.

Yelp
Cute space but small so it fills up fast during busy evening hours. Get the appetizers and a good beer. Wings were incredible; I think we got the lemon pepper ones which were cooked to perfection. Asian fusion dishes were interesting but we'll probably skip them next time.

Ben K.

Yelp
When a fun new spot comes across my Instagram, I have to check it out and this new bar/restaurant in Downtown Stillwater is a must try! The interior space has lots of character with 90s themed album covers on the wallpaper, arcade games in the back, and a Spice Girls poster in the woman's restroom (I saw it when the door opened). The back hallway even has a bunch of 90s movie quotes and references! My kinda spot! We only had a drink on this visit but loved it! Inventive, and fun takes on classics with fun names to top it off! I had the Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, which was essentially a Mezcal Mule. Tasty and visually pleasing! We will definitely add this to the list of spots to frequent on our Stillwater adventures and are looking forward to trying some of the food as well!

Howard L.

Yelp
Pretty good food nut not worth a special trip to Stillwater. It was better than meh but not by a lot.

S K.

Yelp
Had the Latin Bowl...nice choice if you want 10 black beans in rice with a squirt of sauce on top and a small cup of pico de gallo, saw 1 cube of avocado then pay $15. Worst meal I've had in a long while.

Yelp
I've been curious about this place for a while. My best friend is gluten free, and Wild Hare is AMAZING at catering to special dietary needs. We came on a weeknight and there was no wait for seating. Our waitress was helpful and attentive, and I loved the 90s vibes. This felt like an upscale dive bar. We got the cheese curds to share. YUM. The batter was airy and crispy, and the cheese was perfect. I got the cilantro lime aioli to dip, and my friend got the horseradish aioli. My dip was perfectly balanced! I didn't try hers because I don't like horseradish. For mains, she got the shrimp poboy on a gluten free bun and I got the Korean bowl with tofu. The bowl was so good. Usually, I worry about not having enough sauce, but that definitely wasn't the case here. The veggies were fresh, and the tofu had a really good flavor. I'd definitely get this again. Prices seemed fair for the dinner, and it's a great price point compared to other Main Street businesses. I'll be back.

Yelp
My husband and I went here for the first time last night - in seek of plant-based choices in meat & potato land. We will definitely go back! We had so many choices! Servers were great, it wasn't too loud, portions were generous, food came out fast & it was deeee-licious! Super happy to have found this place!

Yelp
Have to have their Moroccan gluten free cheese curds. Also, great craft cocktails! Love this place!

Yelp
I love me a 90s theme honey - it's my all time fave. All of the cocktail names have a 90s reference and I'm here for it. The cocktails were delicious, I'm usually more of a craft beer gal but I can't pass up a delicious looking cocktail with a fun name! Our waitress was fun and friendly, along with all of the other staff. I originally thought the menu would be different entrees and things, why I thought this I don't know. Apps, burgers and bowls - delicious bowls I might add! Honestly I chose the bowl based on other yelpers reviews, something I wouldn't normally eat but I'm glad I ordered it! It was so good, I ate every last bite. Tender meat, great flavor and crisp veggies.

Yelp
Good flavors, fun atmosphere, vegan friendly, a bit pricey. This place knows it's audience and leans hard into the millennial vibe. If you're a foodie with a nostalgia for the '90's, this is your spot. I'm obnoxious enough to think I'm the former, and very much the latter. Got the cheese curds w/Moroccan seasoning and Korean bowl based on staff recommendations. Both were delicious! The cheese curds were surprisingly creamy. I've never had them quite like that. It was fantastic. The breading was also great. Not too much or too little, and I believe a beer batter. The Moroccan seasoning is dry and brought on the side. A nice touch so you can determine how much or little you'd like. The Korean bowl had a ton of flavor! Large slices of veggies, hearty portion of rice noodles, and just enough broth (for lack of better term). The bowls come veggie, but you can add a skewer of protein for a charge. $6 for a single skewer of chicken seems a bit steep to me, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Yelp
Awesome new addition to the Stillwater main drag! Came in on a rather lively Saturday night not too long after opening day. They were bustling! The wait wasn't too long and we were able to grab a drink at the bar, admire the 90s paraphernalia, and play a round of pinball before being seated for dinner. Started out with the Moroccan cheese curds and they were excellent! Be sure to peruse the dipping sauce section for a variety of flavors. The rice bowl dish and chicken wings were a-okay. The spicy Szechuan was a nice blend of spicy and sweet and not saucy. Our server was very attentive on a busy night. Really glad we got to check out this new place!

Yelp
We have been here several times and the food off the grill has always been good. However, I ordered a Korean bowl with steak this time. The description stated that it was a noodle bowl with vegetables and noodles. I got what seemed to be soup rather than a bowl as everything was swimming in sauce. I don't know if I will be back as the food was almost inedible

Yelp
The place is really cool. The Bar is awesome. Bartender super cute. We ordered a few apps. Everything tasted pretty good. However my friend ordered the Shaksuka, a dish we have had many many times. When we received the dish, it tasted perfectly however the eggs that are supposed to be over easy were seriously overcooked. They resembled hard boiled eggs. This is not how this dish should have ever come out of the kitchen. In addition to that, we ordered fries, before the place got busy and we were told there was a wait because everyone who had come well after us ordered fries as well. We cancelled the order. When we had paid, and were about to leave, the fries came. This all isn't something that should prevent anyone from visiting.

Yelp
Incredible experience. Fun atmosphere, delish unique food and kind servers. We loved the ability to make reservations- it's hard to find many places that will now days. They also stuck to their time limit policy to get another table in- we've recently been burned by other restaurants who don't take reservations and have no limits so we appreciated this. We have some gluten free eaters in our group and they had so many choices here. They were extremely knowledgable about the kitchens policy's surrounding gluten and what we could and couldn't have. Moroccan gluten free cheese curds were out of this world. All the drinks we had were lovely, loved the juice tonics. The one with the green machine juice and gin was my fave. We also had butternut squash shakshuka which was new to us but very good. Loved hearing all about where it originated in from our server. I had the Casablanca burger and would absolutely get it again. Everyone loved stealing my fries. Several others in our group got the bowls- both Latin & Korean and all had great things to say about their dishes. Overall a new favorite spot for sure!

Yelp
My wife and I were invited to try out this newer restaurant in Stillwater...The Wild Hare did not disappoint. The staff was very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations on beverages, appetizers, entrees, and desserts based off of our parties feedback. We started with the Chicken Wings with Moroccan Dry Rub and Cheese Curds. Both were excellent. The cheese curds had the right amount of salt, crispiness and cheese gooeyness. The Chicken Wings were crispy and the dry rub was perfect. The homemade ranch and bleu cheese sauces were excellent dipping sauces. For entrees, my wife and I had the Papa's Burger and the Korean Bowl with Steak. The burger was delicious, full of flavor. The Korean Bowl was magnificent - the pairing with the steak was perfect. I wish there was a little more rice noodles, but what I had was delicious. We will definitely come back to The Wild Hare in the future and would highly recommend this to any one of our friends and family members.

Yelp
Food allergen friendly. Great knowledgeable staff and food is delicious. Their juice drinks are a personal favorite, allow pricey, I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a fun upbeat date night.

Yelp
Unfortunately this establishment employee and very rude and condescending bartender. We will definitely not be back.

Yelp
Delicious! So so good! But man was it crazy loud in the restaurant. If you are going for a nice easy conversation place this isn't it. But loved the gluten free options for my friend

Yelp
Really great food and the service was nice . We walked in with our service dogs and the bartender said no dogs and there was some miscommunication so we sat outside . When the bill came they comped the drinks and some food and they apologized for the inconvenience. That was very nice and unexpected .
