"A Los Angeles smash-burger spot is expanding up the coast with its first location outside the city — a Santa Barbara outpost expected this May — and will bring menu staples such as a $4.35 cheeseburger, an $8 grain bowl, and an "excellent" fried chicken sandwich." - Rebecca Roland

I came here on opening day and waited two hours in line, but it was totally worth the wait. I got a free double cheeseburger with my order, so no complaints here! I like to taste the meat, so I ordered the sauce on the side. I highly recommend ordering it on the side, so you can control how much goes on the burger. It also helps in case you don’t like the taste, but the sauce here was decent. I didn’t realize they have a jalapeño aioli, so I’ll try that next time. The burger was seasoned well and delicious! It’s comparable to another place in town, that I won’t mention but at a lower price too. Definitely a win for me! The fries are light, crisp and not too salty. Nothing special, but they do taste good. I also tried the Arnold Palmer. I don’t normally order sodas or lemonades, but it looked good from what I seen. The lemonade was ok, but tasted a little artificial and too tangy for my taste buds. The tea helped balance it out though. Overall, I’m glad we have another option for smash burgers in town at an affordable price! Looking forward to trying more on the menu.

If there’s a fried chicken sandwich on the menu, that’s my order. I’ve tried so many places around the area that are just okay. I finally got around to trying the Win-Dow downtown and… this is the ONE. By far the best in town and beyond. Simple, affordable, fresh, and delicious. I know burgers are the highlight here, but if you get the chance to try the fried chicken - do it!

I do enjoy a good ole classic burger. So when I was in downtown Santa Barbara, I made it a point to stop on by the Win-Dow stand. First of all I want to note they automatically add 3% surcharge to your bill. You can decline it, but you have to tell them. They say it is not a gratuity but it is a way to provide sustainable earnings and benefits to their staff. Onto to talking about the food... The cheeseburger was pretty darn good. Hubs ordered it and I snuck a bite or two. Classic smash burger style. It's the size of the burgers at ... dare I say it (In n Out). The price wasn't bad either at $4.35. Hubs had the hand spun vanilla bean milkshake $6. It was topped with whipped cream. He luved it, saying it tasted like true vanilla bean and not artificially flavored. I had the fresh lemonade, it was sour tarty, sweet deliciousness. I don't know what got into me but I ordered the "$8 grain bowl". It had brown rice, six veggies, two seeds, and a soft egg. I went in blind not knowing what were the veggies and seeds. It was gorgeous and fresh looking. My tastebuds battled me on the first few bites (I think it wanted more of that cheeseburger) but gradually started to enjoy the taste and flavors. Fresh crisp veggies, fluffy nutty brown rice. Oh I have to mention the size of the soft serve cones. Sweet goodness, those were as tall as my Charlie Brown head. And gorgeous looking, works of art. Hubs and I did not get one, but almost everyone around me did. The seating is all outdoors. The patio could sure do with a power washing though. The trash cans were both full so a lot of folks left their trash on the tables to be carried off into the breeze. The seating is close quarters to each other. The afternoon I visited, it was a full house and overflowing with local teen spirit just hooting and hollering the afternoon away.

We stopped here for lunch. Was super yummy and prices were fair. We paid 19$ for two burgers one fries and two lemonades. The homemade lemonade is to die for. The perfect balance between sweet and sour.

Many people were waiting to order and it went pretty fast. We ordered two cheeseburgers and lemonade. Very delicious and juicy. We really want to come back.

I was in town for just 4 days on vacation and ended up eating at The Win-dow twice — that’s how good it was. Their smash burgers are simple, perfectly cooked, and incredibly well priced. Honestly, it was the best burger I’ve had in a very long time. The flavor, the crisped edges, the soft bun — everything just hits right. A total hidden gem and absolutely worth the stop.

Google
I know there are sometimes long lines at busy times, so I ordered a double cheeseburger on their website and it was ready and waiting for me 15 minutes later. The website worked great. They clearly know how to make a good smash burger. It was hot, meaty and flavorful. But for almost $10.00 for a burger, tax and tip, it better be good. They have a little outside seating area. I got luck and grabbed a covered table. It was comfortable enough. All in, I'm glad I tried The Win-Dow and I will return. Is the burger better than the smash burgers at Third Window or Validation Annex on DLV. Not really. But the burger was good.

Google
Absolutely awesome burgers 🍔 cashiers are very friendly and very helpful fries were nice and hot 🔥 and there house sauce is amazing

Yelp
There are three GOOD burger spots in town in my opinion. 1st is hands down Third Window. 2nd is going to have to be in n out And 3rd...is win-dow burger. HEAR ME OUT! The prices are better than most fast food restaurants in SB, and the food seems to be getting better with consistency. The burgers also have their own unique taste compared to the other burger joints I listed. Lastly their house sauce isn't just a copy & paste of thousand island. It has a flavor that stands out and even makes the burger go from alright to "damn that was good".

Yelp
The double cheeseburger is the way to go. One of the best burgers I've had. The house sauce is great and so are the fries. The Jalapeño sauce is good but could use more spice. The chicken sammy is solid but pretty basic and I've had better. Glad this place came to SB!!!

Yelp
Burgers were simple but extremely flavorful. House sauce was amazing. Also their service was really quick, 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
I needed a break from the office one afternoon and decided to check out Win-dow in Santa Barbara--a quaint little walk-up counter burger spot I'd driven by a few times. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised and seriously impressed. It's a no-fuss setup: walk up to the counter, place your order, and they call your name when it's ready. There are a few tables out front and a side patio if you want to dine in. Parking is limited, so that's something to keep in mind--but honestly, it's worth the effort. The menu is super simple: smash burgers (single or double), a vegetarian option, and a chicken burger. The counter person recommended the double cheeseburger, noting that the singles were on the smaller side, and that turned out to be excellent advice. The double was the perfect size--similar to a standard burger anywhere else--but with way more flavor. My burger was topped with American cheese, their signature house spread, grilled onions, and pickles, all on a slightly sweet bun that brought everything together perfectly. I also ordered fries and a side of their jalapeño aioli, which was creamy and flavorful without being too spicy--absolutely delicious. Another plus? The food came out quickly after I ordered, which made it ideal for a lunch break. I took everything to go, and even by the time I got back to my office (just a few blocks away), the fries were still hot and crispy. A week later, my coworkers and I decided to go back. This time we ordered online, and it was super easy--we placed the order, drove over, and by the time we arrived, it was packed up and ready to go. Talk about convenience! Win-dow has definitely earned a spot on my go-to lunch list. Great food, fast service, easy online ordering, and seriously satisfying burgers. Don't skip the aioli!

Yelp
The Win-Dow is such a great addition to Santa Barbara! The burgers are simple but so good. They're juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Their fries are perfectly crispy, and the soft-serve is the best sweet treat to finish things off. Although I will say that the portions are small. It reminds me if Habit and In and Out had a baby in a positive way. Compared to those two places, the serving size is smaller. The vibe is super casual and fun, perfect for a quick bite with friends or a late-night craving. Service is fast and friendly, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality you're getting. If you're looking for a no-fuss, delicious burger spot with a cool, laid-back atmosphere, The Win-Dow is definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious smash burgers, should have gone for the double. Perfectly good sear, crisp, and gooey ness. The fries were seasoned plainly with salt and the sauces were although both creamy, could use more flavor. The staff were super quick and friendly. Looks super busy. Really wish there were more shady spots to sit.
google avatar

Yelp
Cheap alternative for a burger, fries and a shake. They offer smash style burgers for less the price others. They are a decent size and filling. The only downside is that it's too salty for my taste. The chicken sandwich is delicious as well. They are full and busy most of the time but fast. Try the sauces for a change from the usual ketchup. The fries are crispy but salty as well. I am curious to try the breakfast menu.

Yelp
I stopped by Win-Dow in Santa Barbara, and their smashed burger is awesome--crispy patty, tasty special sauce, and super fresh, fluffy buns. The lemonade is a refreshing win! But the limited outdoor seating feels cramped on hot days, and the ice cream was a melty mess--not ideal. That 3% "healthy service fee" feels off; just raise the prices, you know? Still, a solid burger spot!

Yelp
Great food . The smashed hamburgers were great but the chicken sandwich was excellent. Eating the fries with the jalapeños dip was also interesting but surprisingly good tasting We are taking points off for long wait after 20 mins we asked ; apparently they had given our order to someone else

Yelp
Happy to have the Win-Dow in SB! We absolutely will go back. Very delicious smash burger, really amazing fries, quick polite service, tasty strawberry shake and fresh kale salad. - Next time I'll get the double cheeseburger va the single - I think the buns could use a little toast - The dry freeze strawberries don't really add anything to the shake - The kale salad had raisins in it and that's not listed on the menu, could have done without them

Yelp
We came here for the first time while visiting Santa Barbara from the Bay Area. It was a short walk from our hotel and based on the good reviews we decided to give it a try. The price is very reasonable and the food was delicious. Staff was friendly and the food was served very quickly. I recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already.

Yelp
Yesterday I was able to check out the new burger hotspot. Every time I've driven by, the line(s) were just too darn long but that wasn't the case on this day. Service was great. The person who took my order was very polite and seemed happy taking my order. Although it wasn't totally packed--there were a number of people there, either sitting digesting their burger and fries or just people watching. The place is fairly new so the atmosphere and eating area were very clean. People seemed to be enjoying the whole experience. The hype about new food place can either make or break an experience. The burger was good-- basic, but good (maybe no cheese next time)! What I mean by basic is that it's definitely not going to keep me from going to other places in town instead. The fries were just a tiny bit over cooked and very very crunchy. With all that being said--on the flip side, if your budget is tight and you want a pretty tasty burger and fries. I would definitely suggest Win-Dow

Yelp
We have a new burger joint in town and the smash burgers are not only affordable, but they are delicious!! I came for opening day and waited in line for almost two hours. Was it worth the wait? In all honesty, yes it was because I got a free double cheeseburger with purchase. I had time to kill, and wasn't in a hurry. I would recommend waiting for the hype to die down before trying it. Although, they are offering daily specials right now, and the prices are tempting. The burgers sit between two soft pillowy pieces of bread. The meat Pattie's aren't too salty and perfectly seasoned. I always get the special sauce on the side, because I don't like an overly sauced burger. It tends to get messy and takes away from the taste of the meat. I'm not a huge fan of sauces on my burger, but the one here is pretty good. The fries aren't anything special, but I do appreciate that they weren't too salty. Lightly fried, crispy and they serve well paired on the side. For beverage, I tried the Arnold Palmer. The lemonade is a little tart, but sweet and the tea helps balance it out. It was refreshing and hit the spot with my food. I remember when this location was Ernie's Drive-in back in the day. It was a popular place to stop by and grab some food. I love how the Win~Dow has revived this place! The patio area with green umbrellas and wooden tables are retro cool. I also like the small desk like chairs in front for waiting or eating. Overall, I'm stoked we have another option for smash burgers in town and at very affordable prices!

Yelp
Win-Dow Santa Barbara. Wow! What a crazy idea . After the NewsHawk article I realized this could be Lifechanging! So off I went. Upon arriving to a manageable line which moved quicker than I thought . I ordered the double cheeseburger fries and a cone dipped in chocolate Amazing. The smashBurger has got to be one of the best I've ever had. There's a unique buzz about the place with people chatting. Turns out I sat next to Jeff Goodman one of the masterminds behind the regional eatery. I have been there several times. I even grabbed a 5 dollar breakfast burrito that's available Saturday and Sunday morning . Thanks Win-Dow for picking Santa Barbara and an Iconic building. Good Luck my Friends Ronnie S

Yelp
Stopped by on their opening week and decided to try their smash burger. Sadly for me the cons outweighed the good. I came in Friday afternoon during rush hour so I did wait 30 min just to place our order. If you plan on coming bring a hat or some shades because it is sunny waiting outside in line. It also took another 20 min to get our food once we ordered so be prepared to wait at least 1 hour during then opening week or during rush hours. It is very common for them to be busy on opening week but it could be a bit more organized. I think they should invest in having 2 ordering windows especially during summer time as people are in line waiting outside. The cashier was very friendly and spent $20 for 1 cheeseburger, 1 fried chicken sandwich, 2 fries, and 2 waters. They charge .10 cents for water cups and add a 3% optional fee to provide better wages for employees. You can have the charge removed as it is optional and I included a picture of our order. We also went on 1/2 off fry day and they will be hosting daily special this week. Sadly for me the taste and quality of the burger and fries was not there. The prices are very affordable but for me the burger was too salty and lacking some flavor. The fries were also overly done and too salty. Both fries were very dry and hard. I will say the fried chicken sandwich did have a great flavor so maybe opt for that choice instead.

Yelp
2nd day open and we ended up walking right by long line caught our attention. The hype is real! We ordered sat down and somehow Sat next to Mr.Paul owner. He was very friendly and told us this is there first location is Santa Barbara, they have several spots in LA. Right behind me was Martin potato bread and I automatically knew this will be a GREAT burger! Ready for the mental picture... fluffy/airy bunds with two juicy patty's and in between is melted American cheese. Topped with grilled onions and pickles! and the jalapeño sauce is more like a ranch and it's perfect with fried order a side of that sauce for .50 and skippp the ketchup!

Yelp
Sarah O the GM reached out to me. This was a much better experience. It came out fresh and hot tasted much better. Definitely a spot for smashburgers in the downtown area. I appreciate the follow-up from management as customer service these days in general is not what it used to be. Keep up the great work and congrats on the new location

Yelp
First time visiting Win-Dow and it was good. We arrived to a surprisingly short line and ordered quickly. Service was friendly and the wait took a bit of time, as there were lots of people waiting. My fried chicken sandwich was delicious but could've used a bit more seasoning. The fries alone deserve 5 stars, they tasted better than In-N-Out fries. I'll be back to try their burgers. We also tried their milkshakes -pretty sweet.

Yelp
Ordered through GrubHub and half of our order was missing. Got a refund but would have appreciated the food more.

Yelp
Ok, this place is so fun! Tried it out last night and their playlist was to die for. We sat outside at their high top tables, and the vibe was just so classic SoCal summer nights. Now on to the food lol. Their smash burger game is unrivaled imo. The meat had that perfect sear and the gooey cheese with their crunchy pickles and their special sauce is some serious umami heaven. Fries are crispy and just the right amount of salty. Oh and their prices are so reasonable! Ya gotta go!
google avatar

Ella A.

Yelp
Such good food. Busy location though. Long line and wait time. Also there's like no parking
google avatar

Cat N.

Yelp
Window's cheeseburger is good, fries too, personal size portions Fresh lemonade is refreshingly good. We had a double burger too and the flavors are good. We ordered a milkshake and that took longer than expected I would grab a bite here again when I'm around this area, maybe a weekday ! finding parking on a busy weekend was a challenge, the line might be long but moves relatively quick Service is good , they are doing their best, be patient and kind Window it's giving that corner of Chapala a new look and I like it - chill ambiance in downtown
google avatar

Mike J.

Yelp
Friendly guy at the front and the place is bright and clean. I had the double and a side of fries. The burger was good with a nice array of no frills toppings...sauce, pickles and grilled onions. The bun turned a bit gummy towards the end, not sure if they'd toast it for you. Fries were just OK, lukewarm yet crispy. I'm glad I tried it.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
This place is great! I've had the breakfast burrito with brisket, the double cheeseburger, fries, and the strawberry shake. Everything is very good and very fresh. My only complaint is the fries were slightly overcooked for my taste. Service is good and the workers are doing their best to handle the long lines during opening week. They actually gave me a cheeseburger instead of a double cheeseburger and corrected the mistake quickly once I told them what happened. They let me keep the single cheeseburger which was fantastic and exactly what other restaurants should do when they are at fault. The breakfast burrito is especially good because of the crispy potatoes (they actually crunch!) and the well seasoned, tender brisket. The burger is simple but tasty -- soft bun, well-seasoned patties, and pickles and onions that help tie it together. The strawberry shake has ample whipped cream and freeze dried strawberry as garnish. It's a bit sweet but that's what a milkshake is supposed to be. Overall, it's really delicious and features local strawberries. They have outdoor seating and the ambiance is very casual and coastal, like I'd expect from Santa Barbara. This is a great addition to downtown but I think it's a bit of a missed opportunity to close at 9 PM -- they should really be targeting the late night crowd as well.

Yelp
Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the Hype Tried the newly opened Win~Dow Smashburger in Santa Barbara and honestly, it was a major letdown. I spent 30 minutes just to order and another 30 minutes to get my food--an entire hour wasted for what's supposed to be "fast food." I ordered the Double Cheeseburger , and it was extremely underwhelming. The patties were bland yet somehow way too salty, and the pickles piled on top made it even saltier. There was zero balance in flavor--just salt and disappointment. On top of that, I asked the girl at the counter if she could serve my lemonade with my food so I could enjoy both fresh together. She flat-out said they can't do that and handed me the drink right away. By the time my burger finally came out, the lemonade had turned into watery slush from the melted ice. What's the point? Overall, this place does not live up to the hype. If you're expecting quality or efficiency, look elsewhere. Total waste of time.
google avatar

Bob L.

Yelp
Withholding judgment until after my order is delivered, but I had to question why the $2.00 Small Order Fee (on orders less than $8.69) was charged to my $9.75 (sub-total before tax & delivery) order. I had no recourse but deduct it from my tip. Update: Not at all impressed by this new business. My order was canceled. They ran out of "a food item" (I'd ordered a cheeseburger and fries) sometime between 11:40AM and 12:11PM (lunchtime). Cannot speak for the food itself (although my boss raves about it), but the menu looks very similar to In-n-Out.
google avatar

Leonel J.

Yelp
Don't understand the hype. I guess it's because the place opened a month ago. Pretty basic, meat, cheese, pickle bun. They are more like sliders. Trust me when I say not to expect a decent sized burger. Not the place to come when you are hungry. If you are not from the area, I would recommend The Habit or In-N-Out for a better burger. What did surprise me was the fried chicken, well seasoned batter, but the portion disappoints. The lemonade game is mediocre, was extremely acidic and sour, and the drinks had more ice then anything. The line of customers is misleading.
google avatar

Sara W.

Yelp
Burgers are very yummy! Also the exterior is rly cute our burgers and milkshake came out pretty quick, and we were very satisfied!
google avatar

Stormy S.

Yelp
A colleague recommended this place, so I tried it (two days ago). I ordered a double cheese and fries. I was *singularly unimpressed. The only "cheese" available (for their cheeseburgers) is American. Spoiler alert: That's not real cheese Their "homemade Thousand Island dressing." Was disappointing--apparently made with dill relish , rather than sweet pickle relish (which is standard). The ONLY garnish available is sliced pickle--no lettuce, no tomato. Nothing The burgers were weird: mushy and flavorless. The fries were okay. Nothing to write home about. The jalapeno dip was wholly uneventful. To make matters worse, their ice cream machine was not working, which sucks, IMO. TBH, I've no idea why/how it is that this place is so popular (always a line, seemingly). One redeeming factor: VERY friendly/accommodating employees. They aim to please and to be of service. Bottom line, I would be willing to try it again, once. If I do, I will request well-done/"burned" burgers. And I will *try to remember to bring my own lettuce, tomato, and Thousand Island dressing. (Honestly, shouldn't have to.)

Yelp
Delicious and hearty steak and egg breakfast burrito. Welcoming and helpful staff and reggae music playing set a cool vibe on a quiet Saturday morning. Fermented hot sauce on the side (for $1 extra) has a nice trailing medium heat if you don't mind a fermented flavor upfront. I high recommend checking out this place. I'll come back to try the burgers.
google avatar

Yelp
Great little sliders. Enjoyed the sides too. Good use more shade but if it isn't a hot day you're fine. Food comes out reasonably quick.
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
Should be called Win-Slow. They obviously missed placed or skipped our order of 2 hamburgers. It happens. Took 19 mins and 3 folks that ordered after us got their food and were long gone. They weren't very apologetic. Oh well, a new business with Meh food and poor service. Take your chance.
google avatar

Yelp
Came at a perfect time! Sun was out, no line, quick service! Seating was limited, but we got a nice table top. Food was really good! Fries had a nice fresh crunch, the double cheeseburger was cheesed perfectly.
google avatar

Tom H.

Yelp
Good burgers! In contrast to 3rd window, I say about the same and can't go wrong with either. Fries however, are not it. Wait time is unacceptable. Seating is uncomfortable.
google avatar

Nijole T.

Yelp
The window is such a great addition to downtown Santa Barbara! Their smash burgers are absolutely delicious and their fries are too. The prices are very fair and the food is made to order quickly. I absolutely love their Martin's potato rolls, it all just blends together seamlessly. Service is super friendly and upbeat, highly recommended!
google avatar

Shelly S.

Yelp
My first time this burger spot. Definitely recommend! The cheese burger was delicious!! And the fries were perfectly seasoned and fried! Will come back!!
google avatar

Anna O.

Yelp
This was truly a hidden gem! We got a double cheeseburger, fries, and the kale salad. Everything was amazing and the wait wasn't too long. The outside area is super cute with lots of seating! I highly recommend coming here if you're passing by or near state street. Delicious, good quality food, that doesn't break the bank. Seriously the prices are unbeatable for the yummy food!
google avatar

Taylor J.

Yelp
So I wanted to smash burger I was gonna go the third window, but I forgot this place open so I came here instead. I would like to start off by saying the burger is good but that's it. Nothing spectacular. Nothing like oh my God this is so fire just a good burger. The fries are pretty basic. My favorite part was the cheese and onions cause I felt like the burger itself could use more seasoning. will be back? No, I'll go to third window, their flavor of burger and fries are just better Also, the jalapeño sauce was not spicy and the house sauce is good but I wouldn't pay $.60 for either cause they're just good and they could go without it. But I say go try it out yourself
google avatar

Shandi J.

Yelp
Amazing smash burgers at an amazingly reasonable price. The double smash burger is more filling and bang for your buck than Third Window at half the price. Fries are great, too. Worth the wait in the line - the line goes pretty quick. Also great outdoor seating area, with good lighting after dark. Parking can be a bit tricky but worth the walk even if you have to park far farther away.

Portia V.

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday afternoon at around 12:45 and the line looked long, but we were at the front in a few minutes. I got the grain bowl and it came with fresh delicious ingredients! It felt like a good deal at $8 and the rest of the group got the cheeseburgers and kale salad and fries and enjoyed them, but said the salad dressing was too tangy. Will definitely be back to try other menu items! Plenty of seating and a fun atmosphere!

Yelp
If you're looking for an average-tasting slider, then The Win~Dow is for you. I was genuinely excited when The Win~Dow opened in Santa Barbara. I went there for lunch and took my order to go. But when I opened the bag at home, I was shocked--two tiny sliders? I thought there had been a mistake. The beef slider was bland and lacked any real flavor. The chicken sandwich wasn't much better--honestly, Chick-fil-A does it better. For the price, it just wasn't worth it. If you're in the area and craving a good burger, skip The Win~Dow. Go across the street to Eureka or head to Chubbie's on De La Vina for something far more satisfying. Unless they make serious improvements, I wouldn't be surprised if The Win~Dow doesn't last more than two years in this location. Seriously--don't waste your money.

Yelp
Mediocre instagram hype. It's not that great. Took nearly 30min, and they were not really busy at 11:10am. Fries were overcooked and cold, obviously re-dipped. Third window does a better job. I'll give it another shot, but it won't be a regular place for me.

Yelp
I was inspired to eat here after seeing the long lines and hearing the many positive reviews, but I don't understand what the fuss is about. The food is perfectly "fine" (the burger meat itself was tasty and cooked well), but much of the rest of the meal was just ok. Portion sizes are small (I left hungry, which I can't remember doing from a burger place in a really long time!), the cheeseburger was really over-sauced with their house thousand island dressing so everything else on the burger was drowned out, they charge extra for dipping sauces for the fries (which were over over salted and also a small portion). To top it off, the shake machine was broken, so I ordered a soda which also didn't have free refills (especially annoying with an over sauced burger and over salted fries...I was thirsty!). I was also pretty confused as the service wasn't very fast....I specifically went at 3 pm to avoid the line and indeed there was none (I walked straight up to the window)....it still took 15 minutes to get a cheeseburger and fries. Long story short, I'm glad I tried this place so I won't wonder about it and if friends suggest going, it wasn't terrible, so I won't balk going back, but for my money, go to MesaBurger....way better value, service, options and most importantly, tastier burgers.

Yelp
We ordered steak & egg burritos, and there was NO steak inside!! Crazy work. The burgers are fine (copycat in n out). Eureka down the street and Third Window on Haley both have better burgers. Do yourself a favor and go there instead. FAR better burritos can be found at the Daily Grind, Super Cucas, Monys, etc etc etc

Yelp
This place is awesome! We had a single cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, fries, and a ridiculously good Chocolate S'more shake. The burgers were incredibly juicy, the buns were super soft, and the sauce was totally yummy. The fries were perfectly seasoned and nice and crisp. All delicious. The vibe is old schools burger joint (in the coolest way) with a hint of Googie on the patio. Love it. The wait wasn't too bad at all, considering how busy they were for their second day. The staff is really pleasant and efficient and everyone eating seems to be enjoying their food as much as we did. Overall, for the killer food, great service, and VERY reasonable prices, we will definitely be back often!!

Yelp
The burgers are completely worth the hype. And we came today for the steak and egg breakfast burrito...the brisket melts in your mouth. The service is friendly and helpful...the prices are right so be generous on the tips! The seating is plentiful... wraps around the sides of the building also...best spot is the bar that runs along Chapala for people/car watching. The menu has items to make the non-carnivores happy like the grain bowl and kale salad. Also shakes and cones. Coke products on the fountain.

Yelp
The food is really flavorful but the wait could be long depending on the day/time you go! They make one heck of a smash burger! My girlfriend loved the chicken friend sandwich and fries were well seasoned, can't wait to go back.

Yelp
A classic California smash burger. The service is quick, the food is cheap for being so close to state street if you happen to be in the area this is a simple must try smash burger.
