I've been wanting to check this place out so I finally stopped in on a Friday night. They have a great outdoor patio with a great menu! We were literally the only ones seated on the patio so I was surprised that it took a while for our server to come take our drink order. By the time she came by we were ready to order our drinks and our food... The food came out and it was delicious but we never saw our server again. We had to flag down another server passing by so we could pay and leave. I'm happy to support this establishment again, I would just hope for a little more attentive service.

Google
Visited the spot for a Saturday girls weekend and didn’t disappoint. Logan, our waitress was absolutely fabulous with recommending food, wine options for our wine flight, and she was attentive and thorough to make sure we had the best experience. We had the fried catfish special with fries and French onion soup. But no pictures but trust me it was so good! They could benefit from making tartar sauce in house, it was obviously bottles and brought down the plate. The seating had a lot of different spots, and although we didn’t partake the patio, it looks like a great option for next time. I definitely will be back. A note, the inside of the restaurant was a little warm. I’m not sure if they have air conditioning inside?? But it wasn’t going to stop the fun! I’ll be back when it’s a cooler day

Google
Super cute and cozy cafe! We indulged in the savory entrees and desserts paired with a flight tasting of their diverse wine selections 🍇 PS - the gooey butter cake is both exceptionally delicious AND homemade ♥️

Google
Great service, INCREDIBLE food. The drinks were delish and the patio is beautiful! I had the Cesar wrap the the seasoned chicken complimented the dressing perfectly.

Google
We had a girls' day out with lunch here- it was so good! The flatbread pizzas are delicious and the salads are fresh and flavorful. The service was great and the place is clean. Outdoor seating looks inviting, but we were warm and ate inside. I will be back for wine tasting!

My husband and I stayed in st Charles for our anniversary and had so much fun at this place! They had half off wine tastings and our server was so knowledgeable and kind. The tasting comes with a glass of wine AND a cute glass to take home! We had the pretzel charcuterie board as well as the spinach artichoke dip and house made tortilla chips. It was tasty and such a fun date afternoon for us! I recommend this place to anyone in the area for a fun meal experience.

Google
I’m torn completing this review as I have frequented “The Wine Cafe” on 3 different occasions. However I was there Saturday October 4th and ordered the spinach dip. The dip tasted off. I took 3 spoonfuls on chips and felt it tasted spoiled. I asked my sister to taste it and she spit it out immediately. I told the waitress and she had the manager come over. I told the manager and she was kind rude.. telling me nothing is wrong with the dip and her and her daughter had some earlier. She did take it off my check. Now I’m not the type to complain so how she spoke to me bothered me and I told the waitress to keep it on my check but I don’t want it.. she didn’t and said it was fine but also threw a back hand comment saying “maybe your tastebuds are off” again I just kept my mouth shut. Later that night I had the worst stomach ache accompanied by diarrhea. I feel it was definitely a result of the bad dip. What really gets me is the way the manager came off.. like something is wrong with me saying the dip wasn’t right. I really liked this place but I won’t be going back.

Jodi B.

Google
I enjoyed a glass of wine and my sister had a peach wine slushy. We loved all of the food we tried. The pretzel bites with cheese and honey mustard dipping sauces, the artichoke dip and pita chips, and the flatbread sausage pizza. Great service and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely go back.

Yelp
Cute calm n cozy. Love the patio. I usually go solo and get a lot of writing done here or just sit and read. If this place were closer to my house I'd visit more often. Don't order the Gooey Butter cake unless you plan on buying the whole cake. It is by far the best in St. Louis and surrounding areas. The waitresses are all sweet and can come up with some drinks when you don't know what you want. 10/10 highly recommend. I don't have pics I just dive into eating ‍ I've been several times. This place is a hidden gem.

Yelp
Had a fun afternoon on the patio after finishing the Katy Trail. The menu had good options for everyone in our group. We all had a great time.
google avatar

Brittany R.

Yelp
This a great spot. The vibes were great, the servers were pleasant and the food was excellent. I had the dry rub chicken wings and chicken flatbread. Both were amazing although I with the flatbread was a little bigger for the price. The menu was limited due to an event going on but the regular menu look amazing as well. The owner was helping not only bring in food and drinks but checking on tables as she passed by. Will definitely be back again !
google avatar

Jasmine W.

Yelp
The service was excellent! Greeted immediately, seated quickly and checked on regularly. There's a variety of food choices to choose from and an extensive wine selection. The wine flight is worth the price point since they are full pours vs. tasting pours. There's indoor and outdoor seating so perfect to visit all year round.
google avatar

Yelp
Tranita was absolutely amazing. Best service ever. Great place. Also came during a festival and got an AMAZING wine slushie. So glad to support a Black, female-owned business in this area.

Yelp
Stopped into this cute little cafe on a work trip & it did not disappoint. I had the Kumbasha, Sav Blanc and it was 10/10. I didn't have time to try any food but they offer daily specials. Will definitely need to come back and try the food.
google avatar

Yelp
The patio is my favorite. But the inside is cozy as well. They accommodate single people to large parties. This business is one of my favorite businesses to support. The owner is a Wonderful lady, whom runs this business successfully with skill and a sense of community. I feel like I'm family and I think I've been 5x in a year. I adore her daughter who also works here when she can. The food is delicious! And oh the gooey butter cake YUM YUM YUM. I love the you pick two option for lunch. The sandwiches or wraps are unique and delicious. Let's discuss wine! WOW! The wines they choose are delectable to say the least! And the portions on the flights are gracious!! Whether it is grading papers, escaping reality, summer reading or stopping by this is the place to go. (I failed with taking more pictures ) Their season drinks are also amazing!
google avatar

Barbara K.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch and ate outside on the lovely patio. The server was amazing, and the food was pretty good. I had chicken and waffles, which was great, but I should have had a salad to go with so much breading. I will definitely go back for a happy hour (with wine and apps, of course!)

Yelp
Stopped in on a Saturday early afternoon for lunch. We'd been wanting to try it out, so this was our opportunity. Nice menu with a variety of lunch selections. Flatbreads, salads, soups, sandwiches and wraps. But they also have charcuterie boards on the menu! Huge selection of wines with a sampler available that was discounted on the day we were there. A few cocktails and NA options. We were not looking to "day drink" so we ordered iced tea, which was very good actually. We both ordered wraps, I had the Philly and Daniela had the chicken fajita wrap. Both arrived HOT, no really hot. Took several minutes for them to cool to an edible temperature. But they were really good and stuffed with ingredients, lots of meat, cheese and veggies. Kettle chips were ok, not great, I will get the salad next time. Our son had a kids flatbread, which was ok, we might try something else next time for him. Nice patio, good service, good location. We'll be back!

Yelp
Stopped through St. Charles on the way home back to KC, and walked near the patio and the food looked great so we came in! We had Bloody Mary's, Mules, and an old fashion to drink. Great! For brunch we had: bacon breakfast quesadilla, sausage quesadilla, avocado toast and charcuterie board. Wow! So good! What a great place with a chill vibe and beautiful views! Our waitress, Monica, was wonderful! Need to come back next time and try their wines!
google avatar

Lesley P.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon to catch up with friends. Our server was attentive to our group and we had an enjoyable experience. Reasonable prices for wine & food menu. Only thing left for us is to come try out the brunch menu when available. The different wine themed signs inside the venue add character & charm.
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
If you haven't been here, come because you are missing out. Cute, cozy restaurant with inside and outside dining available. They have plenty of delicious food items and a great selection of wine. My friend and I ordered a flight of 4 6oz glasses, and you can pick any from the list. We both enjoyed our options. The food was just as good. The vibe here is just amazing. The staff is so friendly and I love how they work together. The owner is present, and you can tell she really cares about her customers. My friend and I had so much fun, we can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Robert M.

Yelp
Needed a quick lunch near my Airbnb with a variety of options on the menu. The Wine Cafe fit the bill! Plenty of options to choose from but decided on the BLT with chips. Food, atmosphere and service from "Logan J" was all fantastic! Nice, quaint area of town! Make sure and take the 900 foot walk further up Main Street to check out Grandmas Cookies for dessert--the #1 rated cookie shop in America by USA Today!
google avatar

Yelp
Shout out to the woman owned business The Wine Cafe! Located downtown St. Charles on Main Street. It's a small café, but has an outdoor seating area with umbrellas inside the vibe is relaxing. The owner is super nice and the food and the wine are great! Stop by and check it out.
google avatar

Sara G.

Yelp
The Wine Cafe is a cozy wine bar that personifies warmth and charm from the moment you step inside. With its exposed white washed brick& dimly lit ambiance, this quaint establishment offers the perfect day drinking wine spot. As you settle into your seat, you're greeted by friendly staff who are passionate about wine and eager to guide you through their impressive selection. From crisp Sauvignon Blancs to full-bodied Cabernets, there's something to suit every palate and occasion. Of course...We got the wine tree of 4 tastings. All of the wines were fantastic! This was a perfect pre-dinner stop! Kudos to founders & dynamic duo, Tiara and Terrence Curry!!

Kellie S.

Yelp
Great service and great food! Love the atmosphere and the gooey butter cake is the best in STL!! Wine selection is good and growing !!
google avatar

Brooke R.

Yelp
Delicious brunch and love the bottomless mimosas! The owner was so sweet to come check on everyone!
google avatar

Russ B.

Yelp
I went here on a warm summer afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on their patio drinking a bottle of chilled Chardonnay. The breeze flows between the breeze and the umbrellas provides a nice break from the sun. I didn't have the food, but the service was great. It's a great place to stop anytime you are shopping on Main Street or walking along the river.

Yelp
A beautiful summer evening, sitting on a gorgeous outdoor patio, sipping wine, eating delicious food, with the charming town of St. Charles as the. Backdrop.... This is The Wine Cafe! After sampling some wines I settled on a delightful Rose'. I paired that with a delicious flatbread pizza and some pretzels with cheese. We met the owner and her family who could not be any lovelier and welcoming! Do not miss dropping by this charming wine cafe!
google avatar

MaryAnn B.

Yelp
Great location right on Main Street. Patio for casual glass of wine and a light bite. I tasted four wines and decided on a wonderfully crisp glass of rose. Enjoyed flatbreads, charcuterie board which was beautifully presented and loaded! Sandwiches are also available. A black-owned business in the heart of St. Charles
google avatar

Natasha L.

Yelp
Cute and quick! The service was friendly, I would of liked to have more knowledge of the wine but it could of been a newer server. They had special on the board but we were told them. We decided on the wine flight which is a very good pour of four wines of your choice for around $35 single glasses running $10-$13. We ordered the buddy board but they do have full meals, the flat bread looks super good. They have a patio with plenty of heaters to keep you toasty. I gave three because the charcuterie board was subpar. The wine list was good but not extensive. On the board there were cheese curds versus artisan cheese variety, the only meat was salami shaped as a flower. They had lots of sweets but no pickled veggies, mustard, olives, jam etc.. which is what what I would expect on the board. They had one veggie a mini cucumber cut up and I mean mini Too many cheese curds.. they defiantly need to spruce up the buddy board to be a bit more flavor rich and upscale. I would of enjoyed it so much more! I'm willing to try again, Next time I will go for the salad and flatbread.

Mya W.

Yelp
I wish I got pictures of my food but the service was amazing! Our server was so sweet and attentive, and the food was so good and came out fast! We did the mimosa flight and enjoyed eating, sipping and yapping on the beautiful patio. Will definitely be back to supper this woman owned and black owned business!

Yelp
Saw this cafe on channel 2 news advertising a segment on good brunches to try out . Took my mom for an early Valentine brunch and it was delicious. This cafe is located in St Charles off of 5th Street. Parking was great considering we got there early. Brunch time is 10-3p. Building is small and quaint. Ambience leaves a good vibe of come in and relax and enjoy your company. The owner was very professional and greeted us when we walked in. Waitress was very helpful and patient while we figured out what we wanted. Prices were reasonable and food was well worth it. Wait time was speedy as well. I ordered the chicken and waffles with fruit cup and a mimosa flight. The best flight ever. My mom had shrimp, breakfast potatoes, French toast and bacon and orange juice. Really enjoyed it. Will be back to check out other items on the menu and listen to music once the weather break.
google avatar

Mariah C.

Yelp
The food was spectacular I ordered the shrimp Alfredo flatbread which was fresh & delicious! The food came out fast the service was awesome everyone so polite. It's so cozy and cute. They have so much to offer. Margaritas candles charcuterie the options are endless. My girl and I had the flight which came with a choice of four wines for about thirty dollars, not bad at all! The various selections of wine were delicious! Portion size was good food came out hot.the waitress was very informative and helpful. Yes I would recommend ten out of ten!

Yelp
Casual stroll on Main St. and happened upon this spot. The bright and warm colors of the interior were inviting and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. I started off with the Wine Tasting, 4 for $20 which I thought a great deal and they offer Wine Flight, also with 4 for $35 which is a great deal. The Steeple View, happens to be a Missouri Wine, was the one I thought to be more enjoyable than the others I tried, so I settled on a full glass of that. Great location, the inside a bit small, but they offer an outside courtyard which will be handy during the great weather days. Food menu had an ample selection of charcuterie, flatbreads and sandwiches, but I didn't try food this visit. I observed others dishes as they came out and they looked really great. Will definitely be back for a visit. Oh, did I mention that you get a complimentary glass with the Tasting, very nice touch.

Ryan S.

Yelp
Food and wine was amazing we got the charcuterie board and a Buffalo chicken flatbread. Service was great, no need unmet. Got great recommendations from the waitress for wine flight. Definitely worth a visit and the environment was relaxing with great music.

Mickey C.

Yelp
Loved it! I have been there a few times and service was great. The food as well and enjoyed chatting with the owner. A very nice way to end the night or have a relaxing lunch.
google avatar

Lori W.

Yelp
Cute place! service is good, food was good. they offer some gluten friendly options like the chips with the spinach artichoke dip, street tacos, and gf bread for sandwiches. Looking forward to visiting again, maybe it'll be warm enough to sit on the patio.

Mia C.

Yelp
We took a chance. I love wine and good charcuterie board. The service was excellent, the charcuterie beautiful, fresh and tasty, and the wine perfect. We will be back!
google avatar

Güneş Ö.

Yelp
I like they have outdoor patio. We tried their dry Twelker red blend wine and it was good and semi-dry. We also enjoyed the deluxe pretzel board. It can be easily shared with up to 3 people. It has lots of cheese, pretzel bites, queso and honey mustard sauce, green olives, baby tomatoes, nuts, grapes, wafers, crackers, wafer rolls and salami.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
After walking by several times my friend and I decided to go out of our comfort zone and try this cute place out. First, the staff greeted us right away and were so inviting. The atmosphere was relaxing and Ava was a great server. The wine selection was amazing!! Wow! The salad very tasty. The music in the background set the stage for a perfect lunch. We will definitely be back and I say you need to give this place a try.
google avatar

Brandy H.

Yelp
We stopped in here during a strip stroll and Tiara was such a delight! 3 ladies were very pleased with their strawberry mango wine slushies. Great flavor and not too sweet! I walked away with a glass of red, and we continued our strip stroll, slushies and wine in hand. We will sit down and enjoy flights and snacks next time we visit.

Carol J.

Yelp
I came for a bda happy hour! The veggie flatbread was to die for!!! Unfortunately I shared it with someone big mistake! Great service and had a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon. Highly recommending you stop in!!

Emma V.

Yelp
Fantastic food and wine options. Highly recommend, great service. Perfect place a night out or a Saturday morning.
google avatar

Brittany M.

Yelp
I decided to have lunch here at this new wine cafe on Main Street. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the cheese steak sandwich was and the pickle it came with was good as well. The waitress suggested the Brachetto d' Acqui after I asked for a sweet red wine. She was spot on with her suggestion. The owner came to our table and she was very pleasant and welcoming. I had a great first visit and cannot wait to go back to sit on the patio.

Kirsten T.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite restaurants on Main Street STC. We have tried almost all of them, and this is a must visit! Their flat breads, wraps, apps, are all AMAZING! Now their wine slushies, Christmas cocktails and wine selection is a dream! We recommend this to anyone who asks us where to eat!!!
google avatar

Tamara J.

Yelp
The drinks were good. The menu is lacking for those who are vegan. Would like to see more meat and cheese free options. Great place to gather with friends. Very cozy.
google avatar

Janelle T.

Yelp
So when I heard there was a new wine cafe less than 15 minutes from my house I put it on my list to visit immediately. Summer came and I got busy and didn't go but I kept telling people about and they reported back how great it was. My time finally came on a Friday night on the last day of September. Perfect fall weather for that day as well. Walking up the brink path of the historic Main Street I heard the smooth sounds of R&B I knew I was in the right place. My friend and I ordered four 4 ounce flights and a charcuterie board that we shared. The wine was so crisp on that fall day. Hannah our wait pick out the wine for me and she did not disappoint. The charcuterie was also good and perfect size to share. The atmosphere of was relaxed and fun as the crowd would sing along with the talented singer as she played great hits. This place will definitely be on my rotation of great places to vibe and drink wine.

Toylonda G.

Yelp
I had a tremendous visit with this establishment.. truly good food and great service I will definitely return. They are great for patio time.. will definitely be back..

Yelp
I WANT to give this place more stars, but they have got to get their service and timing together first. I have visited twice now and both times the wait for service was insufferable. This past Friday night we went down early before Lanterns and Legends. Arrived at 3:45 was 15 min. before we got menus, another 15 before our drink order was taken and then 15 min after that my mom got her drink and I was asked what my flight order was again because she lost the paper. IT WAS 1 Hr from arrival till I got my wine flight. That's insanity. A couple of tables just left waiting to place a drink order as the waitress went AWOL. There were 3 tables outside and some inside, but one girl trying to run all of them who said she was a neighbor helping out and not even a regular employee. As more people arrived it only continued to go down hill I had to go inside to find our waitress as she quit coming outside all together and it was another 30 min before I was able to pay my bill. All employees were in full panic mode. The patio is lovely, the wine pours are generous. The wine selection is good. The Spinach dip and flatbread was great. There is so much good here. And I will give them a 3rd shot, hopefully service kinks are worked out better by then.

Cathy K.

Yelp
Such a cute place! Stopped by for brunch and will definitely be going back for happy hour. Mimosa and wine flights

Yelp
New Wine Fave Great casual, welcoming spot to grab some delicious wine on South Main Street. Outside is fresh and welcoming with orange umbrellas and orange aprons, etc by wait staff. Really enjoyed trying some of their wines. Husband got the wine flight for $35. Lots of good wines to try! We also had the roast turkey sandwich and I had the chicken avocado sandwich. We both chose potato salad over potato chips for the side. Both were decent panini style sandwiches. The charcuterie trays looked more interesting as did the flatbread pizzas. I give the wine and service a 5 and the sandwiches a 4. Still a new spot. Check them out and have a nice glass of wine with the good weather!

John F.

Yelp
Placed order for 4 people. We were all served separately, even had to ask for silver wear and napkins. About 10 minutes apart for each person to get their food. Very unacceptable. Also, if paying by credit card, they will increase the bill as you will be paying the service charge as well. They've only been opened for 5 months and it was empty. No wonder!!
google avatar

Kristan H.

Yelp
Very cute and special! A nice place to enjoy a glass of wine or the whole bottle! Service is excellent!

Olivia C.

Yelp
the very best thing about old st Charles. amazing family staff. I sat down today for a glass of wine and ended up talking to the mom of the owner for a long time about family and life. my favorite moment in St Louis by far. she even flagged down the free trolley for me. must stop.
google avatar

Marla S.

Yelp
My husband and I had a late lunch at this charming little café on Sunday. My husband is pretty picky and he was totally impressed. The food was wonderful and the portions were plentiful. We enjoyed the wine flights, which were a generous pour. And the service was outstanding. We definitely will be back!

Tracy C.

Yelp
I give this place 5 Stars! I had a wonder time there. The ambience was spectacular along with the outside patio was just BEAUTIFUL! The drinks were very good and tasty. The prices were excellent and the food portions were very satisfying. This establishment is a hidden jewel in St. Charles, MO! I would definitely return to!!! The staff was very pleasant and exhibited excellent customer service to our table. Tracy C.

Yelp
Amazing service and selection. Went during the holidays for a local experience and was pleasantly surprised. Great cocktail menu as well

SIara M.

Yelp
I enjoyed this restaurant but there were pros and cons. Pros: the wine selection is nice, food and drinks are tasty, and the ambience cute! Love all the food boards! Cons: the tables are soooo sticky , to the point of discomfort and annoyance. They need new ones or paper or linen covers. I was given my food without silverware or napkins. I ordered the Brie , but it only comes with like 8 crackers. The service is really good just a wee bit slow. Although the food is tasty there aren't too many options to get truly full.
