What a GREAT shop. I love food and beverage and have worked as a farmer, herbalist, nutritionist, and every job front and back of house in hospitality. Still, my wine knowledge isn't really that great, and I often find "wine people" intimidating, or annoying, or both. I do know and understand soil and flavor
as I perceive it. With the good humor, vast knowledge base, and friendly approach I find here, I might be getting over my sommelierphobia. (?)
More importantly, I'm knowing better, drinking better!
