The Wine Sampler

Jamie has always found the perfect wine for us!! Great prices but his knowledge is the Best in Wilmington!! Love love love this establishment!!

What a GREAT shop. I love food and beverage and have worked as a farmer, herbalist, nutritionist, and every job front and back of house in hospitality. Still, my wine knowledge isn't really that great, and I often find "wine people" intimidating, or annoying, or both. I do know and understand soil and flavor as I perceive it. With the good humor, vast knowledge base, and friendly approach I find here, I might be getting over my sommelierphobia. (?) More importantly, I'm knowing better, drinking better!

Original: Terrible customer service. I met a middle-aged gentleman wearing a hat who looked like he was a manager of sorts and he literally told me I was soliciting after I asked where's the front desk person. It was a joke. Please hire someone who is kind to people who can handle the front door. I will never shop there Edit: I went back and wanted to forgive and give him a second chance for my business. He was kind and let me know they were closed the 1st time and that he has many solicitors. I really appreciated how kind he was. He spent a little time with me and let me know more about their shop. I hope to see more of him in the future.

Had a wonderful experience here tonight. I’m not a huge wine drinker, but the friendly staff made me feel welcome and also educated. The atmosphere was laid back but still classy. Cool wine tasting wall feature for folks wanting to try a little of everything. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended.

I'm questioning why it took so long for me to find this gem! What a wonderful place, great selection, nice atmosphere but what really blew me away was the passion and knowledge Jamie has. I went in looking for a particular Sauvignon Blanc, which they didn't have but Jamie wasted no time in calling his rep about having some ordered, then went right into to suggesting some other options. I thoroughly enjoyed the tastings and recommendations and can't wait to return for some of their weekly events.

Theeeee best place in town for wine tasting! We are here for our 21st anniversary and we LOVED IT! Georgia is AMAZING from start to finish. She shared some of her favorite places to go as we were just opened to anything. Please go check them out, you will NOT be disappointed!! 🤙Aloha!

The Wine Sampler is a great place to grab a special bottle of wine that doesn't break the bank, as well as a perfect place to meet friends for an afternoon glass. I love their lounge where you can comfortably socialize while trying a variety of rotating wines on tap. Jamie knows so much about wine and makes buying a new bottle a truly enjoyable experience!
