Jamie has always found the perfect wine for us!! Great prices but his knowledge is the Best in Wilmington!! Love love love this establishment!!

Had a wonderful experience here tonight. I’m not a huge wine drinker, but the friendly staff made me feel welcome and also educated. The atmosphere was laid back but still classy. Cool wine tasting wall feature for folks wanting to try a little of everything. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended.

What a GREAT shop. I love food and beverage and have worked as a farmer, herbalist, nutritionist, and every job front and back of house in hospitality. Still, my wine knowledge isn't really that great, and I often find "wine people" intimidating, or annoying, or both. I do know and understand soil and flavor as I perceive it. With the good humor, vast knowledge base, and friendly approach I find here, I might be getting over my sommelierphobia. (?) More importantly, I'm knowing better, drinking better!

A very nice place to gather and try different wine samples until you find the one that is right for you.

I'm questioning why it took so long for me to find this gem! What a wonderful place, great selection, nice atmosphere but what really blew me away was the passion and knowledge Jamie has. I went in looking for a particular Sauvignon Blanc, which they didn't have but Jamie wasted no time in calling his rep about having some ordered, then went right into to suggesting some other options. I thoroughly enjoyed the tastings and recommendations and can't wait to return for some of their weekly events.

Original: Terrible customer service. I met a middle-aged gentleman wearing a hat who looked like he was a manager of sorts and he literally told me I was soliciting after I asked where's the front desk person. It was a joke. Please hire someone who is kind to people who can handle the front door. I will never shop there Edit: I went back and wanted to forgive and give him a second chance for my business. He was kind and let me know they were closed the 1st time and that he has many solicitors. I really appreciated how kind he was. He spent a little time with me and let me know more about their shop. I hope to see more of him in the future.

My husband took me here for my birthday today. I’m not usually a review person, but I HAD to write a review for this place. The guy who worked there, I assume the owner, is very kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely wants the best for his business! He explained different wines and champagnes to me and made an amazing recommendation. We will definitely be back here next time we are in Wilmington!!!

Probably our favorite wine place in Wilmington. Small draft selection, but usually several from Wilmington brewing company, next-door, so you can never go wrong. Great wine selections by glass and bottle and very reasonable prices. Extremely helpful and considerate staff.

This is one of our favorite spots to visit whenever we're in Wilmington! The Wine Station offers an impressive variety, whether we're stopping by for a glass or two or picking up a bottle to take home. The selection is exceptional, and the owner and staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to recommend the perfect wine. Highly recommended!

We love all wine stores because we love wine. Wine stores that you can go to and sit and relax are even better. Wine stores that you can go to and get 1 ounce pours to try new wines - perfection. Great place. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Great and knowledgeable staff.

My first time checking out the wine sampler was at their fall Champagne Jam. It was such a great event to attend as a new resident to Wilmington. I bought my ticket over the phone so when I arrived at the event, I checked in and was given a champagne class. There were 5 stations in total where they offered two champagnes to sample. Additionally, there was a table in the back with light appetizers. It was a packed event. I visited every station and had a great time. And as you try the samples, you begin to mingle with others about some of your favorites and other interests. I also learned that the venue hosts wine tasting throughout the week from 3-7pm and they are free! :) I will definitely be back to attend.

This place has such a great selection of wine and the tasting section is so fun. It's a great place to sit and taste wine alone or with friends. Best of all, their customer service is fantastic. They are the nicest wine shop in town

Staff is incredibly rude, we were sitting outside at the outdoor seating while looking at the online menu and one of the male workers from inside came out and rudely told us to either order or leave that the out door seating was for customers only and then proceeded to leave before we could even tell him we were a customer, extremely rude so we left and will never return, I would highly advise going somewhere else

I have a friend who frequents this establishment regularly. She was celebrating a milestone birthday and I called to arrange to purchase a wine she and her friends would enjoy. The owner Jamie could not have been more helpful and excited to help me make her day special! He knew exactly what she would enjoy because he gets know all his customers well. He's extremely knowledgeable about all of his inventory. If you are in the area it's worth stopping in and checking out his extensive collection. It's worth the trip!!

I really don't know where to start. They've been friendly since the beginning, professional but, personable. I really cherish businesses like this. The focus is on the experience of the customer rather than "just a profit." Jamie and Bob have been especially helpful in helping us decide on wines and the amount of said wines for our wedding reception for a great deal! I've discovered some of my absolute favorite wines via their suggestions. I usually find better deals here than I do at larger grocery stores which is not what I would have expected. Come in, say hi, try some wines during their tastings and enjoy the ambience and most certainly, heed their suggestions. You just might discover the wine you've been searching for all this time!

So welcoming and staff is incredibly knowledgeable. Wines are organized by region and I especially appreciated the price of the bottles. Definitely will make this my choice wine store

6 stars! Absolutely, hands down, the best wine tasting in town! Their wine tastings are Wed-Saturday and FREE. The wines chosen for the tasting are hand picked by the family depending on the time of year. They are not chosen based on their stock or what they're trying to get rid of. This is a family run business. The owner Bob and his son-in-law Jamie are legit winos. In a good way. Jamie is a certified Sommelier. He can recommend a really amazing Pinot Noir under $20 or a super fancy Zinfandel and everything in between. Huge champagne selection! Not pretentious at all. These folks love wine and it their love for wine rubs off on their customers. They hold special wine tasting events that there is a cover for. I've attended most of them. I can tell you they are all very special. (Champagne Jam is my fave event) They also have Yoga on Sundays. You can follow them on insta for the latest and greatest specials and events. I swear I don't work here. I just love this place so much.

I love the Wine Sampler. Their pricing is fair, their selection broad, and their customer service awesome. I usually deal with Jamie, who is great, but have found everyone to be lovely. I am very happy to have found this place and will continue to support them. They also do tastings most days of the week, where some shops will just do it one evening a week. They just moved to a new location with lots of parking and space- you should go check them out if you're looking for a good wine spot and want to support a local business :)

Fabulous place, all the employees are highly knowledgeable in wines and your taste! I love coming here and enjoying the selection and education on the wines. If you're visiting the area or are a local I highly recommend coming here!!!

I love this place for the staff and everyday wine sampling. You can try all sorts of international wines and even purchase a bottle of it to take home.

What an amazing place! The genuinely approachable & helpful (but not pushy) staff helped me pick just the right wine for several different occasions. The wine & beer selection is thoughtfully tailored for all tastes & price points. The Wine Tastings are amazing and are a great way to try new wines & a wonderful place to meet up with friends. This is the best wine store in Wilmington.

Nice place to sample some wines, or just grab a beer. They are located in the same plaza as Pizetta's. You can grab a drink while waiting for your pizza, and I think Pizetta's will let you BYOB if you want to eat there.

Great place to enjoy some terrific wines. Bob and his staff makes you feel at home. There's always something new to try! He stocks some of the finest wines from around the world.

While they have a great selection, the owner is surprisingly unfriendly and condescending. While picking out a wine I specifically went to his store to purchase, he insulted my taste referring to the brand as "grocery store wine". I do not know why they carry this wine if it is beneath their taste, but insulting the customers can't be good business practice. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and you should too.
